Abstract

The history of the Qur’an is not only intended to illustrate the process of memorizing, recording, collecting Qur'an in chronological order, but more important is the placement of such material as an argument to prove the genuineness and authenticity of the Qur'an. Is there any guarantee that the verses of the Quran does not change in any process that elapsed before recorded in Mushaf Utsmani?. This statement was expressed by John Wansbrough criticize the history of the Qur'anic text. assurance of God in keterpeliharaannya, many opportunities that enable change. Initial recording of the companions of the Qur’an in the form of remembering, of course, is still questionable, because of forgetfulness possessed by humans. Thus they create a record then used as the basis for unification, there may be a doubt for reasons of simplicity existing stationery. On the basis of all the opponents of the Qur'an does not stop doubting the authenticity and originality of the Qur'an.

Abstract

Understanding the verses of the Koran must always be done to realizeKorans}ha>lih likulli al-zama>n wa al-maka>n. In the contemporary era, many scholars who appears and offers a variety of methodologies to understand the verses of the Koran. One of them wasA>bid al-Ja>biri. He offered the concept of al-Fas}l and al-Was}l. Construction al-Fas}l(فصل المقروء عن القارئ) is performed in order to obtain the original meaning of the verses of the Koran. Its steps consist of: a) Analysis of the text include the analysis horizon ما فى النص and ما حول النص, and b) Analysis mufassir’s horizon that includes experience, knowledge, tradition, and the context or reality. As for the construction of al-Was}l(إلى الواقع وصل القارئ) is to connect the text in the time down to the needs of the present. A>bid al-Ja>biri's offer will be applied to the verses that talk about the h}ija>b in order to see the extent of his methodology can be used to obtain a contextual understanding of the verses of Koran.

Abstract

This article discusses Azami criticism to Ignaz Gholziher and Joseph Schacht. The author tries to integrate the relations of hermeneutics as a solution to solve the issues of Hadith authenticity, and its interconnected to psychology, that Azami position when criticizing the Orientalists, Joseph Schacht, based on the flow of his thought of isnaad. Then in reviewing hermeneutics, in general there are three dominant element is the relationship between (author), Text (text) and readers (reader). So the results of this analysis, the author is orientalist, Joseph Schacht Ignaz Goldziher. The Text is orientalist books, thoughts, opinions or their theories, in this case Joseph Schacht. The reader is referred Azami. The discovery of the authors that position Azami criticism included are the internal and external criticism, namely external criticism Azami focus lies in criticism of the Orientalists, he criticized Joseph from isnaad. And internal criticism, plays on historiography, he criticized the use of sciences related to hadith, such as ‘Ilm Tadwin al-Hadith, ‘Ilm Rijal al-Hadith, ‘Ilm Jarh wa ta'dil, Ulum al-Hadith, ‘Ilm al-Fiqh.

Abstract

Tafsir al-Qur'an bi al-Sunnah as part of tafsir bi al-ma'thur has an important position in the process of understanding the meanings of the Qur'an. Despite the differences in defining the meaning of the Sunnah or Hadith, the Muslim scholars (Ulama) placed this interpretations as the most authoritative interpretation among other interpretation models. There are two forms of the Qur'an bi al-Sunnah tafsir as described Abdullah Saeed: verbatim (direct) and fi'li (deeds, indirect). However, as a form of tradition-based interpretation, such interpretation is considered less has shortcomings in its limitations in reaching many contemporary problems. That's because not all the verses of the Koran described directly by the Prophet Muhammad. Herein lies the urgency of developing ijtihad so that the verses of the Koran that can still be understood better by staying pivot on the explanation of the Prophet Muhammad or the verses of the Koran more.

Abstract

This paper presents a hermeneutic tradition of a thinker and former Egyptian political activists - Abu Syuqqah- on the liberation of women in the book of Tahrir al Mar`'ah fi 'Ashri al-Risalah. A study of the book is considered important and useful for the development of scientific traditions. Also provide answers to how the hermeneutic aspects in the book. Then the principles of hermeneutics anything contained therein. Abu Syuqqah desire to overcome problems of the people in his day to do the rereading of the hadiths used scholars highly textual. Therefore, he tries to give an understanding of a hadith by looking at the context and contextual text. So get a deeper understanding relevant. The hermeneutical traditions offered by Abu Syuqqah about freedom, women not only look at the text of the hadith alone but he is very attention to aspects outside the text like attention to psychological, social, historical, and educational aspects of women, so it is really understood how the text of the hadith then see the historical context and the contextual meaning of the hadith see the woman at this time.

Abstract

Shahrur distinguish between traditions to the Sunnah, because the Sunnah is a practical application (ijtihad) of the Prophet in embody divine treatise that revealed to him, while the tradition is a form of ijtihad Prophet verbalization. Shahrur Sunnah split into two, the Sunnah and the Sunnah Nabawiyya Rasuliyyah. Shahrur does not deny the existence of traditions as long as it is authentic, but he stressed the need for classification in accordance with the position of the Prophet's hadith, namely: as human beings, as a prophet, and as an apostle. The concept of Sunnah and Hadith classification offered by Shahrur actually not an idea that is really new, because there are some similarities with some of the previous figures. However, there is its own peculiarities that characterize the concept of Sunnah initiated by Shahrur, among which are the classifications made always followed by clear indicators, so the concept is applicable and systematic.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an and Hadith as a guidance of Muslims was interpreted by Muslims with a various perspectives. However, the rise of radical action in religion wich of carry the name of Islam as a "mount" make Islam suspected and discredited by the International public. Jihadisoften use religious arguments from the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet, as a legitimation to their actions including efforts to invite people to follow in their footsteps. This paper will explain how the interpretation of the Qur'an - Hadith among Muslims, especially the concept of jihad which raises the jihadis movement and how the meaning of jihad in Islam itself. Here the authors conclude that jihad is not only meaningful war, but to work and fight for the good conscientious. This meaning has long existed, but ditertutupi by the actions of the Jihadists.

Abstract

Tulisan ini hendak menjelaskan melihat bagaimana paradigma resolusi konflik dan studi agama dalam perspektif Amin Abdullah. Pada pembahasan pertama, penulis menjelaskan pengertian resolusi konflik dan perkembangan studi agama-agama. Pada pembahasan kedua, penulis menjelaskan paradigma resolusi konflik dalam perspektif Amin Abdullah. Pada pembahasan ketiga, penulis akan mengkaji paradigma studi agama dalam perspektif. Amin Abdullah. Kesimpulan dalam tulisan ini bahwa paradigma resolusi konflik dan studi agama yang ditawarkan oleh Amin Abdullah, berawal dari kegelisahan akademik beliau ketika melihat pemahaman keagamaan yang terlalu kaku dan cendrung terjebak pada intepretasi skriptual-tekstual. Menurut pendapat penulis, yang diinginkan oleh. Amin Abdullah berkaitan dengan wacana multikultur, dan pluralisme, harus menjadi pandangan dunia bagi para pemimpin agama ketika menjadi pelayan umat di ranah publik.

Abstract

This paper proves that religion has been remain as a source of peace and compassion. The conflict that occur it’s influenced by their interpretational politic of textually religious doctrine with no any integration to the social and community context. The strategy to meet peaceful-state conception and religious law committed by Islamic leaders endorsed the archipelago with Pancasila as the state’s foundation. The accomodative constitution it’s basically implemented by the mutual agreement on the same area with no-sectarian action to defending the state with the Medina Charter as well as the first moslem’s communities has been done. The pattern of the radical Islamic movement's understanding of the nature of transnational normally associated with the evidence there is no law except from God and those who use the law apart from God is a kafir. Violence in the name of religion that still bloom occurred in Indonesia indicated that the attitude and behaviour of most community Indonesia no longer in accordance with the principles of Pancasila. Society tends to choose violence or strong penalties in the face of difference. This research use approach to conflict theory and the theory of social identity in analyzing potential deviants in society.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penjajahan Belanda ke Indonesia pertama kalinya adalah menguasai perdagangan rempah-rempah di dunia. Hal seperti ini bisa dilihat dari pembentukan VOC untuk mengorganisir perdangangan rempah-rempah di Indonesia. Keterkaitan dengan gerakan keagamaan di Indonesia, bisa dilihat dari awal kedatangan C. Snouck Hurgroje di Indonesia. Menurut pengamatan C. Snouck Hurgroje, Indonesia menghasilkan beberapa pengumpulan data mengenai pranata-pranata Muhammadan di Hindia Timur yang akan diusahaknya akan bermanfaat bagi Pemerintah Pusat. Dengan semakin lama Belanda menjajah Indonesia, pemerintah Hindia Belanda menghasilkan kebijakan politik etis yang tujuanya adalah untuk menghasilkan pegawai yang bisa mengabdi kepada Hindia Belanda. Kolonialisme yang di gagas oleh pemerintah Jepang justru memberikan perhatian yang lebih terhadap perkembangan Islam di Indonesia, dengan memberikan peranan sosial dan politik yang penting kepada para pemimpin Islam melalui lembaga yang disebutnya Shummukd (Seksi Urusan Keagamaan) yang didirikan di setiap karisidenan
