Abstract

ABSTRACTCommunity development is a strategy to improve potencies of community and to be empowered. Poverty reduction should be done through community development program. Practices of community development is not only involve government, and pertinent institution as subject in poverty reduction but also involving society. Study case on coastal community in Purworejo Regency, with regard to community development policy has been directed to solve poverty in coastal community by analysing the cause of poverty, identify problem, and problem solving. Policy that can be taken is the idea to direct in creating program so that will be effective in poverty reduction for coastal community in Purworejo Regency. By involvement of many parties such as government, pertinent institutions, and society, the sustainability of poverty reduction program with community development as basic strategy can be sustain.Keywords: Community development, Coastal community, Poverty reduction, and Purworejo Regency

Abstract

ABSTRACTSimple paper about basic understanding of computable general equilibrium aimed to give basic understanding about CGE. It consist of history of CGE, assumption of CGE model, excess and lack of CGE model, and creation of simple CGE model for closed economy. CGE model is suitable to be used for seeing impact of new policy implementation. It is because CGE model use general equilibrium in which this theory of general equilibrium explaining about inter-relation among markets in the economy system. CGE model was introduced in 1960s known as Johansen model. Next, it is expanded into various models such as: ORANI Model, General Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) Model, and Applied General Equilibrium (AGE) Model. In Indonesia, there are CGE ORANI Model, Wayang, Indonesia-E3 and IRCGE. CGE Model is created by assumption of perfect competition. Consumer maximizes utility, producer maximizes profit, and company maximizes zero profit condition.Keyword: CGE, General equilibrium, Consumer and Producer

Abstract

ABSTRACTApproach model of local government in managing local development that has not been integrated so that the implementation of development programs so far has not fully realize a prosperous society in Kolaka regency. This research aims to describe the implementation of rural development, identify the factors inhibiting and driving the implementation of rural development, and describe the factors that determine the effectiveness of the implementation of rural development programs in Kolaka regency. The research design was a descriptive with qualitative approach. The results showed that the implementation of rural development programs through Gerbangmastra program entirely not maximized, because there are still obstacles that impede the achievement of objectives adequately. Public private partnerships, socialization of program development and community participation very determine the effectiveness of achieving objectives rural development through the implementation of Gerbangmastra programs. Public private partnership in the implementation of the program is not maximized, socialization of program uneven and community participation is still low, so the effectiveness of the achievement of development objectives through the implementation of Gerbangmastra program not maximized.Keywords:  public-private partnerships, socialization of program, community participation, development program, effectiveness.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe experiment was conducted in the village of Lesong Daya, Batumarmar District and Sub Market Waru Pamekasan. The purpose of this study is to know the marketing channels and marketing margins of onions in the village of Lesong Daya Batumarmar District and know the market integration at the level of onion farmers in the village and at the level of traders in the Waru Market, Lesong Daya Batumarmar Pamekasan. The sampling method in this research used Snowball Sampling. While the analysis method used were the marketing margin and market integration analysis. The results showed that there are two marketing channels onion in the Village of Lesong Daya, Batumarmar District and based on analysis of marketing margins, farmers share, as well as the distribution margin shows that when farmers sell onion in dry conditions on marketing channel pattern I is more efficient than other marketing channel. Based on the analysis of price, strong integrated market in both the short term and long term based on the integration of the average monthly price of onion from January 2012 to April 2013.Keywords: Marketing Channels, Marketing Margins, Market Integration

Abstract

ABSTRACTFAO and World Bank’s predictions about the threat of food crisis in 2025 had a special attention from the many countries over the world. Indonesia had several programs to keep the food security. One of this campaigns was changing consumer behavior from rice to yam group. In this program cassava was chosen as a national strategic food like rice and corn. One of the food agroindustry from cassava that have a potential market is Krepek Tette. But, This Business Opportunity of Maduraness traditional food had not cultivated seriously. Krepek Tette’s Agroindustry is just a side job with small scale production for local. The aim of this study was to calculated the economic value added and the profit opportunity by Krepek Tette’s Agroindustry so that this activity become one of the local livelihood choice. The Hayami’s value added was used to analysed this research. The result of this study shows in once production of Krepek tette’s agroindustry is small scale but feasible and prifitable.Keywords: Cassava, Agroindustry, Hayami, Value Added.

Abstract

ABSTRACTCoffee has been becoming one of priority commodity of Indonesia since this country also as one of main producer in the world. However, Indonesia got hardly in maintaining world position due to increasing of production and capacity of other country such as in Vietnam and Brazil. Therefore, it is necessary to recognize situation of demand and supply for coffee commodity in domestic scope to understand further the  bargaining position level. Various variable such as production, productivity,demand, supply, domestic price, export and import of coffe are considered to be performance variables for domestic market.  This research used SAS (Statistical Analysis System) tool by using times series data. The result of the analysis shown that the performance of Indonesian coffee trading is affected by the supply, demand and price of Indonesian coffee.Keywords : coffee commodity, coffee demand, coffee supply,

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of the study is to assess the technical and financial feasibility of procurement investment Tray Dryer fueled biomass to operations of coconut shell charcoal briquette in PT. Tropica Nucifera Industry. The result showed that investment-Tray Dryer on cocnut shell charcoal briquette bussiness was highly feasibile both the technical and financial aspects. The technical aspect was seen that the quantity-production capabilities of coconut shell charcoal briquettes using a dryer-Tray Dryer could be increased 15 percent compared the previous consdition-used of solar energy. While the quality of the charcoal briquettes produced from Tray Dryer was a much butter quality, moisture content (6.39%); ash (2.65%); carbon-bound (85.83%), compared to using sunlight, water content (15.89); ash (2.57%) and carbon-bound (77.32%).The financial aspects of procurement Tray Dryer investment that its value was more feasible than previous, nothing Tray Dryer. Coconut shell charcoal briquet enterprises without using Tray Dryer was feasible to be done with NPV 1,058,928.12, IRR 63%, Payback Period 1 year and 9 moths, Net B/C 2.25 and analysis of swicthcing value reached 20 percent. And after the business using Tray Drayer, the financial analysis was much more feasible with NPV 2,285,500,498.12, IRR 113%, Payback Period 11 months, Net B/C 3.5 and analysis of switching value reached 50 percent.Keywords: Coconut Shell Charcoal Briquettes, Tray Dryer, Investment Feasibility, Financial and Technical

Abstract

ABSTRAKThe construction of Suramadu Bridge give an impact on land values in foot bridge areas. This study aims to analyze the impact of the bridge on land values, before and after presence of the bridge. The results of this research  shows land values at Labang is more than  before. While, land values at Arosbaya, as control areas, has not changed significantly before and after the construction. The comparison between subject areas and control areas before the construction, were not significantly different. While, after the construction, there are significant differences between two samples tested, indicating that the existing  Suramadu bridge has impact to the land value at Labang compared to land values at Arosbaya, as control areas.Key words: Suramadu Bridge, land values.
