Abstract

The development of consumer knowledge on purchased product includes severalcharacteristics which has to be fulfilled by producers. It becomes an important demandfor complete and clear information on purchased product which can include productbrand, quality, nutrition, and halal certificate the research took 3 kinds of packagingmeatball which was available in traditional market such as Yikko, KJM “Kijang Mas”,and AJ. This research was conducted to understand characteristic of the packagingmeatball consumer and to understand the relation between variabel and preference alsoto understand which attribute was considered important according to consumer inWonokromo traditional market. The sampling technique was conducted by nonprobability sampling through the accidental sampling method and the data analysis useddescriptive analysis, IPA (Important Performance Index). There were several similiaritiesof meatball consumer, such as: was dominated by women with average age was 17 – 24years old and was moeslem which were mostly student, private employee, housewife, andentrepreneur. The income level was around Rp 1.000.001 – Rp. 3.000.000 with the lasteducation level was SMU/SMK. The most important attribute according to consumerwere price, suppleness, flavor, halal certificate, quality and the less important attributefor consumer was composition. The attribute of packaging meatballs had a significantrelation to consumer preference such as price, flavor, suppleness, and quality. Price wasthe most important considerable attribute for consumer on purchasing because incomefactor which was classified to low medium income in Wonokromo traditional marketSurabaya.

Abstract

Ngawi has considerable forest area, either owned forests Forestry and Plantation Agency and owned by Perum Perhutani. These forests, automatically have forest land area under tree stands quite spacious as well, and is very suitable for planting Porang. In the end it can be said the forest is a potential for mapping the potential for plants Porang empowered. Against the backdrop of these conditions, this study aims to: 1. Identify Potential Land Plants Porang, to identify the extent of land to potential mapping Porangplants. The technical potential mapping on the basis of the terms Porang grow crops, such as: the suitability and condition of land; setempatyang weather and climate is verysuitable for plant growth Porang. 2. Analyzing Potential Mapping Strategies Porang plants, based on the SWOT method, ie factor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1. Identify characteristics of elementary students (SD) infollowing the skills of farming skills. 2. Analyze the influence of cognitive / knowledgefactor, psychomotor / skill and affective / attitude toward increasing interest in farming.The method used in the sampling is saturated or census sampling. Data analysis used wasdescriptive analysis and Differentiation Analysis, different test to know the effect of farmskill training on student interest in farming. The results showed that the average age ofgrade 3 students in elementary and non-elementary school was 8.73 years and 8.87 yearsin the low class that tended to adhere to the rules. Gender of respondents of elementaryschool-based elementary students is dominated by female students while nonenvironmentalbasilic elementary students are dominated by male students. girls arefaster to master language than boys, So girls are more likely to understand and captureagricultural training materials than boys. Employment of parents respomden of PrimarySchool-based Elementary students most work as factory workers while Non-EnvironmentBased Non School students are most employed as merchants. In addition, results basedon t-test farming skills have a positive effect on students' interest in farming. There is asignificant difference in the student's interest in farming using a farming skills trainingmethod.

Abstract

The earth climate change is characterized by the earth temperatures increasing in polesand glaciers begins to melt so that the sea level increases and causes small islandsaround disappear. The seasonal change also happens in some countries in the world,such as the temperatures changing and the decreasing of rainfall intensity every yearincluding in Indonesia, especially in East Java Province. The influence of climate changein East Java gives an impact on crops production and productivity fluctuation on riceand maize cutivation whose existance is important for the sustainability of people’s dailylife. That climate condition can cause the unhealthy rice cultivation and not fullycorncobs. That climate change has an impact on one of the component itself, such asrainfall. This research was conducted to analyze the influence of rainfall on crops area,production, and productivity on rice and maize in East Java. Within 20 years, the riceand maize production increased. The trend analysis from rice and maize commodityshowed the increasing of crops area. The increasing of crops area was in line with theincreasing of production area. Beside that, there was an increasing of productivity whichcould support the existance of food security and the evenness fulfillment. Crops area hada significant influenceon the increasing of rice and maize production while rainfallaffects the significance of rice production.

Abstract

Clove leaf oil can be produced in Indonesia because the rawmaterial of clove leaves is available abundantly in ourcountry, with the aim of sufficient clove leaf oil for bothdomestic andexport. To produce clove leaf oil products, thecompany still uses simple equipment with manual power, buthas been able to produce clove leaf oil with quality andquantity in accordance with existing quality standards. Thisstudy aims to 1 Know the aspects of production technologyused in clove leaf oil distillation. 2 Knowing the productionprocess of clove leaf oil distillation. 3 Analyze the clove leafoil distillation agroindustry economically. The analysis usedin this study is the Cost of Process Cost Method, BEPAnalysis, Profit or Profit Concept, Efficiency Concept Effort.Production facilities used in the form of raw materials,auxiliary materials, packaging, machinery and equipment, aswell as energy. Clove leaf oil can be extracted by steamdistillation because clove leaf oil is one of the oils that is notdamaged by heat. Steam distillation can be distinguishedinto two: direct distillation and indirect distillation. Receivedrevenue of Rp. 999.000,-with sales amount 300 kg of cloveleaf oil and with price 1 kg of clove leaf oil Rp. 30.000,-sothe profit earned is Rp. 999.000,-with the cost of Rp.8.001.000,-.Keywords: Essential oil, Clove Leaf, Refinery, Agroindustry

In the area there are Puspa AgroMarket Up as a trading center in East Java Agribusinesscondition is currently experiencing growth or decline, Theconclusion of this study were: male sex Most respondents-male, majoritygreengrocer in Puspa Agro has a brother whotraded vegetables, capital at the greengrocer can come frombank loans, partially greengrocer vegetable tradeexperience, motivation is the most greengrocer to make endsmeet, most of the vegetable vendors are not able to copewith unsoldgoods.Keywords

Abstract

This study aims to identify the characteristics of the PT. Primary Source Milindo Surabaya, Analyzing internal and external factors anything that can be strengths andweaknesses, opportunities and threats in a pesticide product marketing efforts at PT. Primary Source Milindo Surabaya, Determining the most effective marketing strategies that can be applied to the PT. Primary Source Milindo Surabaya. The analytical method used is descriptive and qualitative analysis, EFE matrix, IFE matrix, and SWOT Matrix. The results of this study indicate that alternative marketing strategies are, among others, maintain the quality of products marketed, guidance and planning for employees tobe able to perform organizational tasks effectively and efficiently, maintaining a good relationship with the seller or retailer, increased sales by market segment geographictarget market, and by distribution channels are short, provide products according to customer requirements, especially in each season, improving sales promotion throughparticipating in various kinds of exhibitions organized by the City Government of Surabaya, use the internet with always up to date information, increase sales volume, providing best services to consumers so that consumers trust and loyal to pesticide products being marketed, to extend the contract period PT. Primary Source Milindo Surabaya with the retailer.

Abstract

Rice is one of the most strategic food from various food types(principal) in Indonesia. In order to meet the needs of thesupply of rice, BULOG procuring or purchasing grain and ricefrom farmers. However, the rice procurement target medium inPerum BULOGSub Regional Division North Surabayais not inaccordance with the results of the procurement in the field.This study aimed to analyze the mechanism of procurement ofmedium rice byPerum BULOG Sub Regional Division NorthSurabaya, the actual provision of medium rice in terms ofquantum and the duration from procurement to distribution, aswell as the perceptions of employees, inspectors quality andPartnersProcurement(MKP)aboutchangesinimplementation of medium ricequality checks on procurement.The data used consist of primary and secondary data withqualitative descriptive analysis. From the analysis it can beconcluded that: (1) procurement mechanism begins withdetermining the procurement target of Directors or to anyDivision Regional Centre. Further targeting of Head ofRegional Division for each Sub Regional Division. SubRegionalDivisionastheimplementingoperationalprocurement activities. (2) Actual procurement of medium ricein 2015 amounted to 138.116 tons and distribution of 224.961tons. Procurement in 2016 amounted to 105.273 tons anddistribution of 265.475,5 tons. (3) According to employees, thedifference between the inspection of medium quality rice in theprocurement of the old and the new one is in terms of location.There is no loss of any change in the implementation of qualityinspection, but there are some advantages. According to theinspector of quality, the difference between the inspection ofmedium quality rice in the procurement of the old and the newis the place to check. There is no loss of any change in theimplementation of quality inspection, but there are someadvantages. According Partners Procurement (MKP), thedifference between the inspection of medium quality rice in theprocurement of the old and the new isthe location forexamination. Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementationof agricultural land acquisition for toll roads, to know theperception of farmers on land acquisition, and to analyze theimpact of land acquisition on the quality of life of formerlandowners. The locationof this research is in Sumberwaruvillage Kec.Wringinanom Kab.Gresik, with informants 30farmers affected by land acquisition. The data usedconsisted of primary and secondary data with quantitativedescriptive analysis. Based on the results and discussionitwas found that the land acquisition in Sumberwaru Villagewas done at the end of 2014, around October 2014. Beforethe release, the socialization, inventory, deliberation andadministration in Sumberwaru village were conducted. Theexistence of agricultural land acquisition in SumberwaruVillage Kec. Wringinanom Kab. Gresik has a positive impacton former landowners and quality of life of farmers coveringeconomic aspects, health aspects, educational aspects,social aspects, and psychological aspects.Keywords: Land Acquisition, Quality of Life

Abstract

Characteristics of agricultural land in the village Talangoform of dry land, with water availability is limited, so thatthe land can not be planted throughout the year, and plantsthatcan be cultivated is limited. Mixed cropping is thedominant of cropping system. The productivity is low, so itneed plant arrangement in the cropping system bycombining annual crops (food crops) with perennial crops(ei. Moringa). The principle of this combination to meet theneeds of farmers (food, feed and cash income), so that theMoringa is also used as the climbing pole of chilli plantsherbs. This study, aimed to estimate the production of anytype of cultivated plants and the revenue generated fromeach model cropping systems are planned, as well as thecontribution of the moringa plants and herbs chili on farmincome. The descriptive research conducted by identifying,evaluating, designing, and estimeted of the cost,production, revenue and R/C ratio of the model based on aliterature review and field observation. Total production for2 years of the edge cropping system model and alleycropping reached 8671.12 kg and 8855.16 kg respectively.Farm income per hectare reach Rp 39.014.800 and Rp23,654,200,-respectively. The contributions of Moringa andchilli herbs on farm incomes of edge cropping systems4.66% and 11.99% respectively. Meanwhile, alley cropping19.82% and 50.98% for Moringa and respectively.Keywords: dry land, cropping system, the needs offarmers.
