Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is a branch of science and application that studies how to prevent accidents in the workplace. One of the companies closely related to this program is PT. Swabina Gatra. Where this company is engaged in the manufacturing business in the form of "Packaged Drinking Water (AMDK)" with the brand "SWA". The problem that often occurs in this company is that the number of work accidents is still quite high. From the results of the study, the highest accident rate (incidence rate) occurred in 2018 with a figure of 5.67% for the last five years. Thus the proposed improvement that can be given using the 55 method in the kaizen concept is Seiri (Concise/Sorting) that is by applying sorting to items that are no longer used to make it easier to search when they will be reused. Seiton (Neat/Arrangement) that is by arranging things according to their place so that they are not scattered and look neat. Seiso (Cleaning/Cleaning) is by implementing a routine cleaning schedule for workers at each work station. Seiketsu (Treatment/Consolidation) is by applying employee discipline at work and implementing the appropriate Kaizen system. Shitsuke (Diligent / Refraining) is by enabling employees to consult when working with supervisors and the company should have a periodic schedule to conduct 5S/5R audits.

Abstract

Inventory control is a main activity for managing the amount of raw material inventory of the industry production process. PT. Pertamina RU II Dumai which engaged in oil and gas business activities have used Crude Oil as the major raw material in the fuel production process. Based on preliminary observation, it was found that the demand for avtur fuel was unstable during the period 2019-2020, decreasing to 54% whereas diesel fuel increasing to 17%. Consequently, this has an impact on the number of Crude Oil orders and also the inventory management. This study aims to determine the optimal amount of inventory, safety stock, the reorder point, and the ratio analysis of the amount raw material used during the era before and after pandemic covid-19 situation 2019 to 2020. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) approach is proposed to place orders in the amounts that best fit its needs. The results of this study indicate that the number of purchases of raw materials using the EOQ method in 2019 and 2020 amounted to 3,525,563,777 BBL and 2,427,392.443 BBL. Total safety stock in 2019 was 10,031,979.39 BBL, while in 2020 it was 8,733,637.21 BBL. The number of reorder points in 2019 was 3,035,881,925 BBL and in 2020 it was 2,321,768,481 BBL. Regarding to this economic purchase of raw material quantity, it is found that the order size of Crude Oil decreased around 31.1% after the pandemic hit.

Abstract

ABSTRACT PT. Aksamala Adi Andana is a company that produces health products, one of which is "Habbie" telon oil. The increasing demand for products requires companies to maintain and improve the quality of their products. But there are still many defective products that are not in accordance with the standards set by the company. The percentage of telon oil product packaging defects in the January 2020 - December 2020 period reached 5.26%, exceeding the defect tolerance limit of 2%. Types of defects in telon oil product packaging include label sticker defects, cap defects, bottle defects, and folding box defects. Based on the analysis using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method, the results of the Pareto diagram show the order of the percentage causes of telon oil product packaging defects, namely sticker label defects (55%), cap defects (21%), bottle defects (13%), and folding box defects. (11%), and the results of the p control chart show that there are 7 of the 12 period points that are outside the control limits with a value of Cp = 0.9489. Based on the analysis using the Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, the highest RPN value is 192 for the sticker label defect. The Kaizen method is used to generate proposed corrective actions for factors causing defects with the aim of reducing defective products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku konsumen terhadap pengambilan keputusan dalam memilih minimarket sebagai tempat berbelanja (Studi kasus pada Masyarakat kecamatan Tigaraksa). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengolahan data menggunakan software SPSS 26 dengan jumlah sample 100 responden yang merupakan masyarakat kecamatan Tigaraksa dan 28 variable. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh delapan faktor dengan faktor tertinggi adalah faktor lokasi, kemudian diikuti faktor harga, produk, sosial, promosi, pelayanan, pribadi dan faktor terakhir faktor budaya dengan nilai eigen value 1,008

Abstract

Super MD Tile Factory is an individual business that is engaged in the production of tiles in small quantities. One of the products produced is Mantili tile with make to stock and make to order production systems. Defective products in the production process cannot be completely avoided. The company sets a tolerance for defective products in production, which is 4.44%, but in practice the defective products produced can reach 8%. Types of defects such as porous, cracked, broken, cracked tiles, and charred.The work using the six sigma method and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), obtained a DPMO value of 16634 and a sigma value of 3.63. This shows that this value is still far from the world industry level which reaches 6 sigma with a DPMO value of 3.4.Based on the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, the calculation of the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value is obtained. Based on the RPN value, the priority causes of errors were obtained, namely, errors when setting the temperature for burning tile 512 RPN, less careful in laying tiles 448 RPN, raw material composition 392 RPN, and errors in taking tiles that were not dry 224 RPN. Suggestions that can be given in an effort to improve the quality of tile products are to add temperature gauge items and check or inspect more frequently during the production process.

Abstract

The Faculty of Engineering, one of the faculties at Mulawarman University, has the potential for fire to occur. The application of fire extinguishers in the engineering campus environment is still deficient, therefore this research’s purpose are to find out how the application of fire extinguishers that have been applied at the Faculty of Engineering and how to give improvements to the implementation that is not appropriate. This research refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia No. Per04/Men/1980 and Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No.26 of 2008 to determine the suitability of the application of fire extinguisher. Meanwhile, a reference based on NFPA 10 is used to determine the number of appropriate fire extinguisher needs in the Faculty of Engineering. The results obtained from the 20 elements of the assessment carried out on 69 fire extinguishers at the Faculty of Engineering obtained an average of 59.47% according to the standard. From the calculation, it was found that the need for all fire extinguishers in the Faculty of Engineering building is 41 fire extinguishers which previously had 69 fire extinguishers. This amount also reduces maintenance costs from Rp8.775,000, - to Rp5.625.00, -. Suggestions for improvement are given to the extinguishers that aren’t accordance with ther application refers to the standards used, reducing the number of extingushers, allocationg 3 fire extinguishers to other building and storing 28 unused fire extinguishers in the warehouse.

Abstract

The use of eco-friendly shopping bags needs to be encouraged to reduce the use of plastic bags. According to the results of observations and interviews, it is known that the interest of students in using environmentally friendly shopping bags is still low. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the intention of students in using environmentally friendly shopping bags in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study uses multiple linear regression method. Purposive sampling is applied, with a sample of students from 5 universities as many as 100 respondents. Variables in this study using the development of Theory of Planned Behavior by adding variables of environmental awareness and support for the Prohibition of plastic bags. The results showed the correlation coefficient of 0.781 and the coefficient of determination of 0.609, which means there is a strong linear relationship between the dependent variable and all independent variables. Attitude variables, behavioral control and support for the Prohibition of plastic bags bags proved to have a significant effect on the intention to use environmentally friendly shopping bags for each value of regression coefficients were 0.221, 0.400 and 0.158, while the subjective norms and environmental awareness variables had no significant effect. For this reason, recommendations are given to variables that are proven to have a significant effect. Attitude variables are encouraged by promoting the use of environmentally friendly shopping bags to the public through various media, while for behavioral control variables, socialization needs to be carried out to the public regarding the importance of using environmentally friendly shopping bags and the adverse effects of using plastic bags. For recommendations related to variable support for the Prohibition of plastic bags can be done by encouraging plastic bag manufacturers to produce plastic bags from environmentally friendly materials (bioplastics).

Power Apps is a service for building and deploying custom business applications that connect to your data and work across the web and mobile - without the time and expense of specialized software development. Power Apps are a number of applications, services, and connectors, as well as a data platform, that provide a fast development environment for building custom applications for business needs. Using Power Apps, users can quickly create custom business applications that connect to data stored on the base data platform (Microsoft Dataverse) or across various online and on-premises data sources (such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, and so on). The purpose of this study is to implement and analyze the use of Power Apps in modeling drug retrieval at the Melia Clinic PT POMI, Paiton with the aim of improving the quality of Melia clinic services through acceleration and ease of drug taking. The output of this research is an accredited national journal.

Abstract

Research on artificial intelligence to determine water quality has been widely developed as a human endeavor toimprove the quality of life. This study employs an artificial neural network (ANN) to determine the optimalclassification model for determining the safety of water. This study uses existing Kaggle generic datasets. Numerouspreprocesses were performed on the dataset starting from cleaning the data from missing values and outliers toequalizing the weights of each parameter with the min-max scaler. This study compares the accuracy of ANN modelin various scenarios constructed with 10, 15, 20, and 30 neurons. Scaled Conjugate Gradient is implemented as thelearning algorithm for developing the prediction model. The obtained results of the experiments vary betweenscenarios. Overall accuracy increases when the number of neurons is between 10 and 20, and decreases when thenumber of neurons is between 20 and 30.

Abstract

UD. Pandawa Tire is a UD engaged in the manufacture of tires retreaded. The production process at Pandawa Tires still often does overtime due to the number of new employees 9 people and the average target of making 60 tires every day which causes fatigue and mental and physical workload. The analytical methods used to measure the physical and mental workload of workers are Cardiovascular Load (CVL) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX). The results showed that the greatest physical workload was felt by workers with a CVL percentage of 46.1%, which was between 30% to 60% in the medium category, meaning that improvements are needed but not urgent. While the results of the measurement of mental workload showed that all workers were included in the high category, with the largest NASA-TLX score of 83.33. Correlation Test was Pearson Product Moment conducted to see the relationship between the value of the physical and mental workload received by the worker. The results of the calculation of the correlation test show that there is a relationship between CVL and NASA-TLX, although there is a correlation, but the correlation is significant in influencing each other between the amount of physical workload and mental workload felt by workers. The correlation value of r obtained is 0.672. Which means that there is a strong positive correlation between the physical workload and the mental burden felt by the Pandawa tire workers
