Abstract

IKM Sentosa merupakan Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) yang memproduksi pakaian seragam sekolah mempunyai beragam masalah dimana sering terjadinya keterlambatan dalam penerimaan bahan baku dari supplier sehingga menyebabkan terganggunya stok bahan baku. Oleh karena itu risiko tersebut harus ditangani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui risiko, dan mengidentifikasi risiko yang terjadi pada sistem persediaan IKM Sentosa. Selanjutnya menggunakan pendekatan House of Risk (HOR) untuk menentukan strategi mitigasi dan merancang Key Risk Indicator (KRI) untuk menentukan Early Warning System (EWS). Hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat 20 risk event dan 27 risk agent. Selanjutnya dilakukan strategi penanganan terhadap risk agent menggunakan 11 tindakan penangan risiko. Berdasarkan risiko yang telah terpilih, dengan kode A6 dengan nilai indikator pickup barang memiliki ambang batas bawah 1 kali dan ambang batas atas 5 kali dalam satu bulan, pengiriman memiliki ambang batas bawah 2 hari dan ambang batas atas 3 hari. A7 dengan nilai indikator selisih stok memiliki ambang batas bawah 1 meter dan ambang batas atas 2,68 meter setiap bulan. Dan pada risiko A26 dengan nilai indikator stok kosong memiliki ambang batas bawah 4 hari dan ambang batas atas 5 hari per bulan.

Abstract

BRT Trans Jateng corridor 1 Surakarta operates with the aim of helping reduce congestion and become one of the alternative modes of transportation chosen by the public from the city center to the suburbs or to the tourist destinations of sangiran museum. In its implementation, BRT Trans Jateng must comply with the minimum service procedure standards set by the Central Java Provincial Transportation Office. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of service satisfaction in BRT Trans Corridor 1 Surakarta with fuzzy service quality method. The results of the analysis will be feedback for the Central Java Provincial Transportation Office to improve services to consumers. Based on the measurement of five dimensions of service quality, all dimensions have a negative value. Thus what is expected by customers who use BRT Trans Jateng services has not been in accordance with the reality received in the service. The results showed that the highest gap value of these five service quality dimensions, is Responsiveness with a value of 0.098 and the lowest gap value is the Assurance dimension with a value of 0.124. Abstract

Increasing productivity in the production line is one of the main concerns of PT X in carrying out its activities. PT X is a textile factory that always makes continuous improvements or Kaizen in increasing productivity and reducing the use of resources. This company carries out production activities consisting of pattern making, fabric cutting, fabric grouping, sewing, ironing, and packaging in polybags. With so many processes, line balancing becomes a concern in this study. Cycle time and tact time were calculated in the process of sewing long pants at PT X. The analysis was carried out to determine which part of the production line experienced bottlenecks. The results of the analysis show that there is a bottleneck in the elastic sewing on the waistband process because the cycle time in the process exceeds the tact time. This is due to limited resources in the process. Continuous improvement with the Kaizen method is carried out to reduce cycle time and increase the productivity of the process. Improvements were carried out in 3 stages by simplifying the process, adding tools, replacing machines, and modifying tools. The result shows a decrease in the cycle time of the waistband installation process from 91 seconds to 35 seconds and an increase in productivity from 51 pcs to 103 pcs.

Abstract

The work of twisting the agel fiber at the Small Scale Industry in Kulonprogo Regency is a job that causes musculoskeletal complaints. Twisting work is done sitting on the floor on a mat, with a bent work posture and bent legs. Twisting work is monotonous and repetitive work. Twisting work gives physiological complaints in several parts of the body, namely in the upper extremity muscles and lower extremity muscles. In the upper extremity muscle, musculoskeletal complaints occur in the lower neck and right shoulder. In the lower extremity muscle, it occurs in the back, waist, and on the right thigh. Physiological complaints are influenced by the workload received by workers. Retrieval of workload method, using palpation method. Collecting data on musculoskeletal complaints using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire. The sample data of the subjects studied were 15 workers. The average workload on twisting activities is 100.2+2.31 bpm. The workload category is heavy. The average score of musculoskeletal complaints after work is 40.67+0.52. Musculoskeletal complaints experienced by workers should be reduced.

Abstract

Proses pewarnaan pada industri sarung tenun di salah satu home industri di kabupaten Pemalang terdapat permasalahan akan kualitas dari hasil sarung yang mengalami kelunturan pada saat pencucian yang disebabkan oleh faktor tertentu maka dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode taguchi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dari sarung tenun terhadap ketahanan luntur gosokan basah dan pencucian dengan menggunakan desain ekperiemen matriks otrhogonal aray L8(25) dari penelitian ini didapatkan untuk setting level optimal untuk parameter ketahanan luntur Gosokan Basah yaitu menggunakan pewarna red B salt dengan lama pencelupan 20 menit, lama perendaman 15 menit dengan jumlah bilasan sebanyak 5 kali dengan bahan tambahan perekat air tebu 200ml, sedangkan untuk parameter pencucian menggunakan setting level dengan pewarna red B salt, lama pencelupan selama 40 menit dengan lama perendaman 25 menit, jumlah pembilasan sebanyak 5 kali dan kadar air tebu 200ml. setelah dilakukan penerapan terjadi peningkatan kualitas ketahanan luntur pada parameter tahan Luntur Gosokan Basah sebesar 16% dan untuk parameter ketahanan luntur pencucian sebesar 14,98%

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan metode 5S, mengetahui peningkatan efisiensi waktu produksi serta mengetahui adanya perbedaan nyata secara statistik antara waktu produksi sebelum dan setelah penerapan metode 5S pada bagian produksi ViaVia Bakery. Kondisi bagian produksi yang belum tertata baik dan belum terorganisir memerlukan metode yang tepat untuk mengatur bagian produksi secara optimal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode 5S. Dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner metode 5S, analisa SWOT, pengukuran waktu dan uji paired sample t test. Melalui penyebaran kuesioner metode 5S kepada 12 responden karyawan ViaVia Bakery diperoleh data yang digunakan untuk mendukung analisa SWOT, guna mengetahui strategi perbaikan yang tepat pada penerapan metode 5S di bagian produksi. Pengukuran waktu dilakukan untuk mengukur waktu baku produksi sehingga dapat diketahui nilai efisiensi waktu produksi dan adanya perbedaan nyata waktu produksi dengan menggunakan uji paired sample t test. Penerapan metode 5S pada bagian produksi agar tercipta lingkungan kerja yang bersih, rapi dan nyaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian setelah penerapan metode 5S diperoleh efisiensi waktu produksi roti brown bread sebesar 9,68%, roti bagel sebesar 9,23%, roti small baguette sebesar 8,08% dan roti focaccia sebesar 6,14%. Selain itu, hasil uji paired sample t test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara waktu produksi sebelum dan setelah penerapan metode 5S yang berarti penerapan metode 5S pada bagian produksi di ViaVia Bakery berpengaruh pada peningkatan efisiensi waktu produksi.

Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul Biaya Investasi Untuk Membangun Kolam Instalasi Pengolahan Limbah (IPAL) bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan tanah yang diperlukan dan biaya untuk membangun kolam IPAL. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitianlanjutan yang penulis lakukan (2010) dan limbah cair yang ada khusus menggunakan zat pewarna pewarna Naptol. Dasar untuk membangun kolam IPAL adalah tingkatan proses pengolahan limbah yang bisa memenuhi persyaratan baku muktu yang ditetapkan oleh Pemerintah. Selanjutnya untuk mempermudah perhitungan dimisalkan volume limbah dari proses pewarnaan dan hilang lilin serta penganjian masing-masing 1 m3. Untuk menghitung biaya pembuatan kolam IPAL disesuaikan dengan rancangan desain kolam yang akan dibuat dan harga tanah serta biaya pembangunan di lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian luas tanah yang diperlukan untuk membuat IPAL sebanyak 34,425 m2. Biaya yang diperlukan untuk membangun kolam IPAL adalah sebesar Rp 172.125.000,-.

Abstract

PT Ethica Megah Madani is a large-scale Muslim clothing manufacturing company. Even the production reaches 1.224.600 pcs per year. Meanwhile, the product produced are Muslim clothes for adults and children, men and women, headscarves, socks, with various different market segments. While the packaging for these products still uses vendors, the company wants a new business unit in the form of packaging printing for its product needs. In starting a new business unit, of course, planning become a reference when the business or production is already running. This study aims to plan the packaging production capacity so that the needs are met. Production capacity is the maximum number of units that can be produced in a certain period of time using available resources. The method used is Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), which is a method for calculating general capacity requirements and comparing them with available capacity. Next, perform an analysis on machines that lack capacity by adding time. From the processing results, it is known that there is one machine that lacks capacity and needs to be added, namely the screen printing machine

Abstract

PT Delta Dunia Tekstil IV is a company engaged in yarn spinning. The stages of the yarn production process include the blowing process, carding process, unilap process, combing process, roving process, ring spinning frame (RSF) process, winding process, and packing process. The problem that often occurs at PT Delta Dunia Tekstil IV is that there are still products that do not meet the specifications or standards set by the company in the production process, one of which is the winding process. Based on observations made on the winding process, the yarn that has the highest total defects with predetermined specifications is TCM 40'SK yarn, so it is necessary to carry out quality control analysis. from workpractice is to know product defects that often occur and to know the factors that cause and provide research on the causes of defects that occur. The method used is Statistical Process Control which aimsto analyze, control, manage, and improve a process or product. The highest types of defects in the production of TCM 40’SK yarn are neps defects of 66,00%, thickness defects of 31,63%, and thin defects of 2,37%. Based on fishbone diagram analysis, the causes of defects in yarn are from human factors, machines, raw materials, methods, and the environment.

Abstract

Companies that are involved in turbine repair service and maintenance often suffered from delayed work, which affected customer satisfaction and trust. Six-Sigma method is used to solve the delay issue. According to the research result, it is found that the capability of servicing process of a turbine in this company is 1.346s with DPMO of 560810.8. This condition is categorised as low, below the industry average in Indonesia of 2s with DPMO of 308.538. The main cause of the delay is with the unreliable work-hour prediciton, unreliability and unavailability of materials from suppliers, failure of the machines, and flawed scheduling. It is suggested to improve the service by work measurment to help predict the needs for repair schedule, rectifying the supply and maintenance system, as well as scheduling system according to the demands of repair service, repair time prediction, and the repair schedule of the machine itself
