This research has problems from understanding of mathematic concept students thatstill low and most of students have not responsible to do some tasks that had beengiven by the teacher. This research has a purpose to know whether bisnis berisikotechniques have positive effect toward understanding concept of mathematicstudents on eighth grades at Junior High School 20 Padang.This research includesin pre-experimental with one shot case study design. This research takes populationall of 8 grades in SMPN 20 Padang which divided into 8 classes in 2014/2015academic year. This research use random sampling, and class VIII 7 had chosen asan experimental class. Instrument in this research takes final test that has indicatorunderstanding concept and give assessment based on analytical scoring rubric. Thistest that is used are essay test with reliability r11 = 0,888. This research analyze thedata based on t test two sides. Based on description and analyze the data, it can beseen that the development of studentâs understanding concept in mathematic areincreases in every meeting. And the value of hypothesis are calculated 3,705. avalue greater than of t-table is 2, 052. So, it can be conclude that applying BusinessTechniques have positive effect toward understanding of mathematic conceptstudents on 8 SMPN 20 Padang.

The background of the research is that the student work sheet (LKS) used by thestudents in the learning process has not given opportunities to students to relatethe studentâs knowledge to the studentâs real problem. The material presentationson LKS give an intact concept so that the students are difficult to understandabout the row and line materials. Therefore, it is made a realistic-based LKS forrow and line materials. The research aims to develop a valid and practicalrealistic-based LKS at tenth grade of Private Senior High School of Tamansiswa,Padang. The type of the research is the development by using ADDIE model.ADDIE model consists of five stages, i.e. Analyzing, Designing, Developing,Implementing, and Evaluating. The validity test result of the realistic-based LKSby validator shows that the realistic-based LKS of valid criteria is 3.16. Thestudent practical test result shows that the realistic-based LKS of very practicalcategory is 92.1% . It can be concluded that the realistic-based LKS of row andline material is valid and practical.

The background of the research is the learning devices, lesson plan and teaching material, used by students in learning is not related to the student real life. The proposed solution is the developing of math learning devices on the material of Alam Takambang Jadi Guru-based Linear Program. The development aims to know the validity and practice of learning devices. The type of the research is development. The research uses 4-D model that consists of 4 stages, i.e. defining stage, designing stage, developing stage and disseminating stage. The research is only conducted into the third stage i.e. developing stage. The validity and practice are conducted on the developing stage. The validity test result of student work sheet (LKS) and lesson plan by validator are 3.84 and 3.98 and it shows that LKS is in a very valid criteria. The student practical test result is 84.74%, while the teacher practical test result of lesson plan and LKS are 95% and 95.45%. It can be concluded that the math learning devices on the material of Alam Takambang Jadi Guru-based Linear Program is valid and practical.

Learning mathematics students use of on textbooks as a handbook on the learning process. However, the textbook is still difficult to understand, especially for students of class VII in rectangular and triangular material. Students have not been able to construct their own knowledge through the material in the textbook. Therefore, we need a teaching material in the form of modules that can help students to construct their thoughts using a simple mindset and easy to understand students. This type of research is the research and development. The design of the study is a 4-D model consisting of stages define, design, develop, disseminate. But the stage is passed in this study only up to the stage of develop. Analysis was performed descriptively with the validation results are very valid. Having obtained a valid module then the module tested. The results of the analysis of test shows a very practical module. This means that the module-based constructivism for rectangular and triangular material in mathematics instructional class VII MTsN Padang Sibusuk, Sijunjung district has been used as a valid and practical teaching materials.

This research aims to make learning interactive CD media with a valid and practical.Development Model used is a 4-D.development model comprises of 4 stages include: define,design, develop, and disseminate.This research was only done to the development stage.The development phase was done only at the stage of validation and the practicalities of an interactive CD.Validation was performad by two lectures of mathematics and one indonesian language lectures.The practicalities of data taken using qustion form and interview.Data analyzed with tecniques and processed in a descriptive percentage.the result showed that the learning interactive CD media using macromedia flash on the material of the cube for grade VIII SMP/MTs has a very valid and validity suggest that interactive CD have been practical because of time, use and benefits of the CD had been in accordance.

This research is background by lack of comprehending of studentsâ mathematics concept. This is caused by the learning process which is still focused on the teacher and the lack of variety techniques. So, it caused the students be passive in studying the mathematics. Besides that the students are also shy to ask and give their ideas. To resolve this problem the researcher tries to find the solution by using the Discovery Learning method which is supported by Spotlight strategies. The aim of this research is to see wheather by using the Discovery Learning method which is supported by Spotlight strategies have the contribution in comprehending of the second grade of junior high school SMPN 29 Padang studentsâ concept in mathematics. The type of this research is pre-eksperimental research, by using one-shot case study. The instrument in this research is essay post-test. The reability test shows 0,8307 and ðð¡= 0,388. The result and data analysis shows that there is the increasing of studentsâ comprehending concept in mathematics every sessions. The hypohtesis which is found from the average of post-test is 70,29 and average from the pre-test is 34,05. It shows that the hypothesis is accepted in sample class.

The background of the research is the need of teaching material in the learningprocess. The expected teaching material is the teaching material that proposes thereal problem in the beginning of the learning involving the students in buildingconcepts so that it will facilitate the students to study independently. The schooltextbook has not proposed the real problem in the beginning of the learning andfacilitated the students to study independently. Therefore, it is made a teachingmaterial in the form of a realistic-based module of comparison material. Theresearch aims to know the validity and practice of module. The type of theresearch is the development of ADDIE model. ADDIE model consists of Analysis,Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validity test resultshows that the module of very valid criteria is 88.26%. Meanwhile, the teacherpractical test result shows that the module of very practical criteria is 97.77% andthe student practical test result shows that the module of very practical criteria is98,33%. It can be concluded that the realistic-based module is valid and practical.

The background of this reseach is students unusual read book before start the lesson and low of students undersanding about math concept, it is seem from the result of math lesson in class VII SMPN 4 Pancung Soal. This research was an experimental research with cluster random sampling. Population of the students class VIII SMPN 4 Pancung Soal. The techic that used to take the sampele is randomly, the sampel waschosen is class VIII1 as experimental class and class VIII2 as control class. Based on the result of analyzing the data from both of the sample class, it is contributed normal and homogen. The technic analyzing data that was used is one side test. Based on the result of hypothesis test with MINITAB program p-value 0,024 smaller is accepted. It can be concluded that the studentsâ understanding of math concept by using PQ4R metode and Quiz better then the studentsâ understanding of math concept by using conventional lesson at class VIII SMPN 4 Pancung Soal.

The students are difficult to understand the set material on the textbook andstudent worksheet (LKS) of learning math. Data analysis is conducteddescriptively with the validity result i.e. very valid in which reaching the criteria4,55 and practice result i.e. very practice in which reaching the criteria 90%. Itmeans that the Modul Berbasis Realistik untuk Materi Himpunan di Kelas VIISMPN 24 Padang is valid and practical.

This research is influenced by understanding of mathematical concepts that werestill low. This recearch was aimed to see what is the students understanding of mathematical concept by using sucker ball game better than the students understanding on mathematical concept by using convensional learning at eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Lembang Jaya Kabupaten Solok academic year 2013/2014. This is experimental research which used random research design toward the subject. The population of research is the student in class VIII SMPN 1 Lembang Jaya Kabupaten Solok, and consist of 5 classes. The instrument used in thistechnique of analysis used t- tes.Based on the result of data analysis, it was revealed that the sample is distributed normally andhomogeny variant.Hypothesis test results obtained tâ = 1,2023and ttable= 1,673, indicating that the hypothesis was accepted. So, mathematialc concept using sucker ball game better than the student understanding on mathematic concept using convensional learning.
