Abstract

This research was motivated because of the student difficulties in contructing, inquiri, theconcepts, and lack of the learning sources that facilitie the student to learn independentlyis still lacking, and student difficult was to understand the material on a vast integer.Thistype of research is the development of the IDI model. IDI model consists of three stages:define, develop, and evaluate. Student work sheet produced very valid by the validatorcategorized in terms of the feasibility of the content, and language with a final value of3,44. The resulting is also very practical categorized by the students with 85,31% of thefinal value in terms of convenience, time, equivalence, and easily interpreted. This meansstudent work sheet Based on Contexstual Mathematics Learning Material On Class VIIMTsN Tanjung Bonai Aur Suijunjung has valid to be used as teaching materials.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the students’ comprehension of mathematic concept are still low at SMPN 1 Bayang. This research aims to determine the students’ comprehension of mathematic concept that apply Two Stay Two Stray better than students’ comprehension of mathematic concept that apply conventional learning in class VIII SMPN 1 Bayang. The type of research is experimental by using Randomized Control Group Only Design. The data analysis technique used is T-Test one part the help of MINITAB. The result of hypothesis test obtained P-Value = 0,027 is less than α = 0,05, then the hypothesis in this research received. In conclusion, students’ comprehension of math concept that apply Two Stay Two Stray type better than students’ comprehension of mathematic concept that apply conventional learning.

Abstract

The research has the background, that is because of the students who have lessresponsibility in doing the exercise which is given by the teacher and the students’mathematical concept comprehension is still low. The purpose of this research isto know “Does Firing Line Type of Active Strategy influence toward Students’Mathematical Concept Comprehension at the Eight Grade Students of JuniorHigh School 3 Sawahlunto. The design of this research is the experimentalresearch, with the research plans are pre test and post test. The population of thisresearch is the eight grade students of Junior High School 3 Sawahlunto thatconsists of seven classes. The sampling technique is simple random sampling,with doing normality test, homogeneity test, and average similarity test so thatselected as the sample is VIII5 Class, that is as the experimental class. Theinstrument used in this research is the mathematical concept comprehension test,these are pre test and post test. The test form used in this research is essay test.The technique of data analysis used is the concept comprehension t-test testanalysis and data analysis of students’ learning product with mathematicalconcept comprehension indicator. Based on the hypothesis test result, it’s gottenthe tcount =14,38 and ttable = 2,06. The hypothesis is accepted because tcount > ttable,until the hypothesis that is assumed accepted at the real degree α = 0,05. To sumup, there is the effect of Firing Line Type of Active Learning Strategy towardstudents’ mathematical concept Comprehension at the Eight Grade Students ofJunior High School 3 Sawahlunto.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to know student’s attitude and describingthe result of the student’s in learning process when applying active learning strategy.A study at junior hight school 4 Sutera. This research are designed as descriptiveresearch and pre-experimental. The design of this research is “One Shot CaseStudy”. The researcher uses purposive sampling. It caused base on the specificpurpose and consideration that related with the problem with individu. Theinstrumens of this research are observation, questioner, and test. The result of activeLearning Starts With A Question (LSQ) are every meeting student’s attitude inlearning from first meeting until four meeting at junior hight school 4 Sutera atsevent five grade student the data shows that 8 students whose value is above KKMwith the percentage 22% and 28 those students with a percentage value is less than78% KKM.

Abstract

This study investigates because students comprehention and their responsibility in mathematical  concept are still low, less of discipline and honesty of a task that has been given. It is seen from students mathematics acheivement  of the VII SMPN 10 Padang in first year of 2013/2014.The purpose of this study is to know whether  there is a significant effect of students  comprehention in mathematical  concept with snow ball drilling strategy of VIII.A class at SMPN 10 Padang.This study is experimental research, design of the research is pre-test and post-test.The population in this study are students VIII class of SMPN 10 Padang.The researcher uses cluster random sampling and get VII.A as a samle. The instruments used in this study are pre-test and post-test.The form of the test is uraian.Based on the result description and data analysis ,it can be seen the Hypothesis testing got 29,06 value of pre-test and 83,03 value of post-test.It means that, the hypothesis is accepted .it can be concluded , snowball drilling strategy is significant toward student comprehension in mathematical concept of VIII.A class at SMPN 10 Padang.

Abstract

This research therefore aims to determine whether students’ understanding of mathematical concepts by applying active learning strategy types The Power Of Two is better than the students’ understanding of mathematical concepts with the application of learning conventional class VIII students’ of SMPN 2 Lubuk Sikaping school year 2013/2014. This type of research is experimental research. Population in this research is class VIII students’ of SMPN 2 Lubuk Sikaping consisting of six classes. The sampling technique is done randomly, which was selected as the sample classes are class VIII.5 as the experiments class and class VIII.6 as the control class. The instrument used in this final test with indicator of understanding the concept. Form of test used is a form of essay with a reliability test r11=0,901. Hypothesis testing use a t-test one direction. Based on the analysis of the data found ttable=1,678 dan tcount=1,861. Hypothesis is accepted because tcount>ttable is less than α=0,05. This concluded that the students’ understanding of mathematical concepts with aplikation of active learning strategies types the power of two is better that the students’ understanding of mathematical concepts with conventional learning in class VIII SMPN 2 Lubuk Sikaping Kabupaten Pasaman.

Abstract

This research is influenced by understanding of mathematical concepts 8 grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Talamau still low. It is caused by the learning centered to teacher and students are afraid to ask and out their opinion about material that they did not understand. The purpose of this research is how the development of students’ mathematical concepts by appliying of mathematical learning strategy at 8 grade students of SMP N 3 Talamau and determine wheter the application of active learning the type of college ball to take effect for understanding mathematical concept at 8 grade students of SMP N 3 Talamau the kind of this reserarch is pre-experimental research by model one-shot case study. The population is students at 8 grade of SMP N 3 Talamau in academic year of 2014/2015. The sampling was done by random sampling, then grade of VIIIB as experimental class. The instrument were used by quiz and final test in essay form. Based on the result of data analysis is an average of students’ outcome by appliying the college ball of strategy is 66,84 it is more higher than students’ outcome in the grade at VIII is 60. So, it can be conclude that the effect of college ball strategy toward understanding mathematical concept at 8 grade students’ of SMP N 3 Talamau.

Abstract

This research is based on the students comprehension of mathematical conceptsare still low. This study aims to determine: 1) how the development indicators ofstudents comprehension of mathematical concepts by applying active learningstrategies The Question Students Have accompanied quiz; 2) whether studentscomprehension of mathematical concepts by applying active learning strategiesThe Po Question Students Have wer Of Two types of quizzes with better thanstudents comprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional learning inclass VIII MTsN Kuranji Padang. This was an experimental research which usedStatic Group Comparison. The population of the research was the students in classVIII of MTsN Kuranji Padang registered in Academic Year 2014/2015. Theinstrument of the research was an essay test. The data gathered in this researchwas analyzed by using U Mann-Whitney test assisted with Software MINITAB14. Results were obtained: 1) indicators of achievement of studentscomprehension of mathematical concepts are not stable or up and down, 2) theresult of the hypothesis test, it was known that P-value was 0.0000 on thesignificance level 0.05 in which P-value < α. This result indicated that themathematics conceptual understanding of the students taught by using TradingPlaces active learning strategy better than that of students taught by usingconventional strategy was accepted.
