Abstract

Background of the research is comprehension of mathematich of the students stilllow, then the students didn’t pay attention what the teacher say. Purpose of thisresearch are (1) to know mathematich concept of the students at SMPN 4 KotaSolok in teaching learning mathematich by using active learning strategy typeactive knowledge sharing (2) to know is active learning strategy type activeknowledge sharing toward mathematic comprehension of the students at SMPN 4Kota Solok. Kind of the research is pre-eksperimen with the one-shot case study.Population in this research is all of the students in the class VIII SMPN 4 KotaSolok academic year 2014/2015. The sample is taken at random and VIII.D as aexperimental class. Instrumentation in this research are quiz and post test.Teachnique of data analysis is using uji t. Based on result of the research, averageof quiz of the students are first meeting is 76,2, second meeting is 81,5, thirdmeeting 75 and the last meeting 83,9. The result of the post test is 78,9 higherthen before use this strategy is 58,19. Hyphotesis by using uji t, thitung =5,12 andttabel = 2,04. thitung > ttabel so hyphotesis of the research is accepted. In conclusion,active learning strategy type active knowledge sharing is significance towardmathematich concept comprehension of the students in the class VIIISMPN 4Kota Solok.

Abstract

The background of the research is the lack of student’s Math conceptunderstanding. The research aims to know how the development of quiz and theinfluence of student’s Math concept understanding to the learning application ofcooperative type (STAD) in the VIII grade of MTsN Lubuk Buaya, Padang. Thetype of the research is pre-experiment with the research design one shot casestudy. The sample class chosen is VIII4. The instruments used in the research arequiz and post-test. Based on the data analysis, it is found that the average ofstudent’s Math result grade after treatment is 89.89. The achieving students are29 students with the percentage 69.05%. The average grade of student’s quiz fromthe first meeting until the third meeting is increasing, but on the fourth quiz isdecreasing. It can be concluded that there is a good development in the quiz butthe influence to the student’s Math concept understanding by applying thelearning model of cooperative type (STAD) is still not significant.

Abstract

This study investigates because students comprehension in mathematical conceptis still low and less of students activity in teaching is significant effect of studentscomprehension in mathematical concept with one to one technique of VIII class atSMPN 31 Padang. This study is experimental research, design of the research isone shot case study the population in this study are all of VIII class students atSMPN 31 Padang in first year of 2014/ 2015 which consists of eight classes. Theresearcher uses cluster random sampling, and get VIII.4 as a experiment class.The instrument used observation checklist and post test which forms esay withreliability of the test is r11=0,922. Dealing to the result description and data quisanalysis, it can be seen the development of students comprehension inmathematical concept in every meeting are increase, the result of is 81,81 andpretes is 41,88. So, it can be concluded, one to one technique is significanttoward. Students comprehension in mathematical concept of VIII student atSMPN 31 Padang.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the students’ math concept understandingwas still low and their score on math was under KKM. It was caused by theinteraction among students in the classroom was not harmonies. The aim of thisstudy is to find out the effect of implementing pair change technique on students’math concept understanding. The design of this research is pre-experimentalresearch design, one shot case study. The subjects of this research were eighthgrade students of SMPN 2 south solok. Based on the research done, it was gottenthat the average score of the students post-test is 79,91. It is higher than theaverage of the students previous score, 53,90. It shows that there is a positiveeffect of implementing pair change technique on students’ math conceptunderstanding. Based on result of data analysis, it is known that experimentalclass has the homogeneity. The result of hypothesis testing shows thatP-Value = 0, 014. It tells us that P-Value < ,is =0, 05, so the null hypothesisis accepted with the degree of trust is 95%. Therefore, the null hypothesis: there isa positive effect of implementing pair change technique toward students’ mathconcept understanding, accepted. Concerning on that research result, it isrecommended for the Math teachers to use pair change technique in teachingmath.

Abstract

This research background by students comprehension of matematical consept that were still low and afraid to explore their opinion and ideas that they have. This research purpose is to know the implementation strategy of active learning type active knowledge sharing is have influence of matemaical concept for grade VIII students of SMPN 1 Sitiung. This method of research was pre-experiment reseacrh with random to the subject. The population research was grade VIII student of SMPN 1 Sitiung except class VIIIc and VIIId that was the superior class. Analysis technique used was t test one party by manual, so it can conclude have influence the implementation strategy of active learning type active knowledge sharing of matematical concept for graade VIII of SMPN 1 Sitiung.

Abstract

The background of the research is the lack of student’s Math concept understanding and activeness in learning process. This study intend to determine the activity of student learning and understanding of mathematical concept students ability to apply active learning strategy LSQ. The type of the research is an experimental research. The research uses a technique of random sampling. The instruments used are the observation sheets of student’s activity and a test of Math concept understanding in the form of essay. Hypothesis testing using the U Mann- Witney test with the help of MINITAB software. Based on the hypothesis test result is found that P-value 0,0004 means smaller than α, so the hypothesis is accepted. Based on the analysis of observation sheet, it is found that the student’s learning activity increasing. It can be concluded that the student’s activity is increasing and the student math concept understanding applying the active learning strategy of LSQ type is better than the student Math concept understanding applying the conventional learning to students of grade VIII of MTsN Palangki, Sijunjung Regency.

Abstract

The purose of this research is to find is there isinfluence active learning strategy type peer lessons toward comprehensionmathemathic consep of the student. Kind of this research is pra-experimentresearch with research design are pre-test and post-test group. Population of thisresearch is the student in eighth class of SMPN 1 V Koto Kampung DalamKabupaten Padang Pariaman. Teqhnique of collecting sampel is randomsampling in 4 Class. Instrument data collecting is test. Technique analysis ofdata by using uji t’ two side based on hypothesis ℎ = 13,75 more than2=2,07 because ℎ >2, so hypothesis of this research are accepted. Inconclusion there is significance effect toward active learning strategy type peerlessons toward comprehension mathemathic consep of the students with theaverage 95%.

Abstract

This research is background by the reason of there are many students who still have low grade of the students competece grade (KKM) the lowest target grade is around 75. This problem is caused by the comprehending of students mathematic concept is still low. The student find difficulities while they do the different examples are different from the questions from their book. Besides that, they seldom discuss with their friends to resolve their problems to comprehend their subject. Based on this problem the researcher tries to resolve this problem by using the College Ball followed by a quiz strategy. The purpose of thus research to find the effectiveness of using the College Ball followed by a qiuz strategy is more effective than the conventional method in learning mathematic in junior high school of 6 Padang. The type of research is experimental research by using Randomized Subject. The population of this research is the third students of junior high school of 6 Padang. The instrument in this research is post test with 𝑟110,69 reability. The data analysis shows that p-value=0,0000 is lower than (𝛼) = 0,05. It cloud be concluded that by using the College Ball followed by a quiz strategy is more effective than by using conventional method in learning mathematic for the students in junior high school of 6 Padang.

Abstract

lack of material sources that are able to facilitate the students to studyindependently. To solve the problem, it is made a constructivism-based module fortriangles and rectangles material. The research aims to develop a valid and practicalconstructivism-based module in MTs TI Batang Kabung, Padang. The validity resultshows that the developed constructivism-based module is very valid i.e. 3.40 for theaverage. Based on the student practical questionnaire result shows that the percentageof the module is 80.73 % and it is categorized as very practical. Meanwhile, theteacher practical questionnaire shows that the percentage of the module is 79.68% andit is categorized as very practical. Based on the results, it can be concluded that aconstructivism-based module for triangles and rectangles material for seventh gradestudents of VII MTs TI Batang Kabung Padang in math learning is valid and practical.
