Abstract

In Islam, there is a positive relationship and correlation between religiosity (religious) and welfare (Sura 7:96; 65: 2-4). However, different from the conventional concept which relates only to the dimensions of the material welfare alone, welfare in the concept of Islam has a wide spectrum and multidimensional. Unfortunately, so far not many empirical studies conducted to confi rm this relationship in the life of the Muslim community. This study was conducted using a survey on Muslim communities in South Kalimantan which is known as Islamic identity and a strong adherence to the teachings of Islam. Variables of religiosity and welfareare measured by a variety of dimensions and indicators which are developed from the concept of Maqasid al-Shariahand further processed by the method of principal component analysis (PCA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Data analysis is using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) showed religiosity in South Kalimantan Muslim community positively correlated with the level of welfare.

Abstract

FIF Syariah is a non-bank Sharia-based unit running a financing business. The fact thatit follows Sharia precepts and that the majority of Indonesian citizens are Muslims make it pro-spective to be an alternative in distributing funds to people in Indonesia. In middle term, there isa big chance that FIF Syariah will have a speedy growth since the number of company that openSharia financing units is still relatively small. It is important that every stakeholder pay attentionsto these Sharia financing units so they can grow and stay in the right track (complying withIslamic law). The commitment of the government will certainly support the development ofSharia financing in Indonesia.

Abstract

The two big streams of thought coloring the world’s economy until today are socialismand capitalism. Capitalism demands freedom in weatlh accummulation, competitive politics, freemarket in trade, permissive social interaction and unrestricted government. Socialism has theview that people are brothers and sisters, believes in equal sharing, the abolition of the gapbetween the rich and the poor and a tight control of the pesantry by the socialist party. In itsdevelopment, socialism was then seen as neglecting individual freedom in economic activities. The two ideologies need to be balanced in a meeting point, that is a third straight way of eco-nomic thought whereby the capitalists have to give alms for the living costs of the haves-not. Themeeting point, a third idelogy is Islam that in its economic activities has this balance (evenwichtigheid)between capitalism and socialism. In Islamic economy, etics, logics and aesthetics are clear.

Abstract

Abstract: Poverty is a multidimensional problem that can be caused by several reasons, generally causedby economic problems. From the survey results of BPS South Kalimantan per September 2014 wasrecorded that poverty in South Kalimantan Province is 4.68% (62.509 people) of South Kalimantanpopulation, 3.790.071 people. From these, especially the poor in the city of Banjarmasin recorded 28.59million people (11.66%). In addition to government programs to reduce poverty, one of the solutionsthat can be utilized in the perspective of Islam is zakat leverage, particularly “productive zakat”. Tomove this productive charity needs to be synergy and synchronization of the various parties, in this caseare: the Government, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), and theOrganization of the Islamic Religious including more specific ie BAZNAS. With the synergy and syn-chronization of the various parties, it is certain the collection and distribution of zakat, especiallyproductive zakat, would be more efficient and effective to support the prevention and alleviation ofpoverty and to achieve welfare for the people.

Abstract

Abstract: The practice of gold pawning in Bank SyariahMandiri and Pawn often reapsthe doubting regarding the correctness of these products. These doubts arise because of the imposition of a multi contract. Likewise the use of multi-contract and calculation of the cost of storage leases (Ijara) carried out by the Islamic pawnshop raised doubts about the correctness of the sharia pawn contract. The doubt arises because there is a provision of Law Compilation of SyariahEconomics and DSNMUI Fatwa which has been violated. The aim of this study was to obtain an overview of the settings in practice use of multi syariah pawn contract in the contract carried out by the Islamic pawnshop connected with Perma No. 2 In 2008 about Law Compilation of Islamic Economics as well as to obtain certainty about the legal consequences of Storage Fee Calculation Lease (Ijara) in the lien contract carried out by the Islamic pawnshop associated with DSN MUI Fatwa No. 25 / DSN-MUI / III / 2002 on Rahn.
