Abstract

The Indonesian society which, in fact, consists of different ethnic groups, religions, languages, and cultures becomes a main reason why multicultural education is of great importance. Multicultural education is originally the study of intercultural and multiculturalism. The nature of multicultural education is democracy, humanism and pluralism which, of course, not in line with authorita-rianism which controls and oppresses human to freedom. The strategy and concept of multicultural education is to make different aspects of students such as ethnic group, culture, language, religion, social status, gender, ability, and age, to be a shared value. This is designed for students to realize the importance of being humane, pluralistic and democratic.

Abstract

Abstrak:Artikel ini merupakan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Fokus ke­gi­atan ini adalah upaya menjembatani pembelajaran di LPTK dan sekolah de­ngan menggunakan model service learning. Model ini merupakan salah satu ex­pe­riental learning yang memberikan pengalaman belajar dalam bentuk pemberian la­yanan kepada masyarakat. Ciri khas model ini adalah proses pembelajaran yang diintegrasikan dengan pengalaman lapangan dan adanya proses refleksi. Me­tode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode partisipatoris dengan melibatkan madrasah mitra merumuskan dan menganalisis mengenai aset yang di­miliki dan kebutuhan sekolah yang sesuai dengan mata kuliah pedagogik. Ha­sil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran service learning dalam pem­belajaran mata kuliah pedagogik memberi dampak pada penguasaan pe­nge­ta­huan yang lebih baik. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pengalaman pengamatan lang­sung di sekolah terkait fenomena yang menjadi fokus teori. Selain itu kemam­pu­an berpikir kritis dan analitis juga lebih terlatih melalui proses refleksi. Hal lain yang juga berkembang dengan baik, adalah sikap peduli dan kepekaan terhadap ma­salah di sekolah.Abstract:This article is the result of community service activities. The focus of this activity is the effort to bridge learning in LPTK and schools by using service learning mo­del. This model is one of the experiential learning, which provides a learning experince in the form of community service. The characteristics of this model is the learning process that is integrated with experience and reflection. The me­thod used in this activity is a participatory method involving partner madrasah to for­mulate and analyze potential assets and school needs based on pedagogic cour­ses. The result of community service shows that service learning model in the pe­da­go­gi­cal course has an impact on better knowledge mastery. This is due to the direct ob­servation’s experience in the school. In addition, critical thinking and analytical skills are also better trained through the process of reflection. The other things that al­so developed well are the caring attitude and sensitivity on problems in school.

Abstract

This article is the result of the research which discuss about: 1). The influence of creativity toward students’ Arabic achievement, 2). The influence of learning mo-tivation toward students’ Arabic achievement, 3. The influence of creativity and learning motivation toward students’ Arabic achievement at MA Al-Badar DDI Parepare. This research used quantitative approach with correlational design. The population of the research was all the students at MA Al-Badar DDI Parepare which consist of 112 with 55 samples. The instrument of research was question-naire. Data were analysed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistic. The re-sult of the research shows that 1) creativity has pocitive influence toward stu-dents’ learning achievement in Arabic language; 2) motivation has positive influ-ence toward leaning achievement at arabic language; 3) creativity together with motivation influence positively toward students achievement in Arabic language at MA Al-Badar DDI Parepare.

Abstract

                                                            AbstrakKecenderungan kenakalan remaja adalah kemungkinan remaja berperilaku menyimpang dan bersifat melawan hukum, anti susila, dan menyalahi norma-norma agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengasuhan kenabian  terhadap kecenderungan kenakalan remaja. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 97 orang  remaja di SMA yang berusia 15-17 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dua instrumen penelitian, yaitu skala kecenderungan kenakalan remaja dan skala pengasuhan kenabian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara kecenderungan kenakalan remaja terhadap pengasuhan kenabian, r = -0,484 (p = 0,000). Artinya semakin tinggi pengasuhan kenabian, maka semakin rendah kecenderungan kenakalan remaja. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi kepada orangtua agar dapat mengurangi resiko kenakalan remaja dengan menerapkan pengasuhan kenabian.Abstract:The tendency of juvenile delinquency is a possibility of deviating behavior and is against the law, anti-morality, and violate religious norms. This study aimed to determine the effect of parenting prophetic against the tendency of juvenile delinquency. The sample in this study was 97 adolescences in high school aged 15-17 years. The data collection was done by using two research instruments, they were the scale of the tendency of juvenile delinquency and parenting scale prophetic. The data analysis was performed using simple linear regression. The results showed that there was a negative correlation between juvenile delinquency propensity towards nurturing prophetic, r = -0.484 (p = 0.000). This means that the higher the prophetic care, the lower the tendency of juvenile delinquency. The study was expected to provide information to parents in order to reduce the risk of juvenile delinquency by applying parenting prophetic.

Abstract

The term of Islamic education has been concerned seriously by the Moslem scholars. It is proven that many theories of Islamic education were made either by local authors or international ones. The theoretical framework of Islamic education has been related to the terms of tarbiyyah, ta’dīb, and ta‘līm. There are many philosophical reasons stated by scholars in supporting to use one of the terms. For example, the term of tarbiyyah is regarded with the representative term of Islamic education than the terms of ta’dīb and ta‘līm.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kecurangan akademik (academic cheating) mahasiswa PGMI Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk kecu-rangan akademik yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa PGMI adalah menyontek pe-kerjaan teman pada saat ujian, membuka buku saat ujian, menyalin tugas teman, membuka internet melalui handphone, copy paste dari internet. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan mahasiswa melakukan kecurangan akademik adalah sangat sulit mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen membutuhkan jawaban yang real, mahasiswa terpengaruh dengan adanya mahasiswa lain yang menyontek, soal yang diberikan oleh dosen terlalu sulit, waktu yang disediakan sangat singkat, mahasiswa tidak memahami materi yang diujikan, ragu dengan jawaban sendiri, tidak ada hukuman yang diberikan jika berbuat curang, mendapatkan nilai yang bagus.Abstract: This study aims to determine the forms of academic cheatings of the students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Program at Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar. The results showed that the forms of academic cheating committed by the students while doing the exam are copying their friends’ work, opening book, copying friend’ task, open the internet via mobile phones, and doing copy-paste from the internet. The factors that lead to student academic cheating is the task given by the lecturers is very difficult and it needs text-book answers, the students affected by the presence of other students who cheat, questions given by the lecturers were too difficult, the time provided in the exam is very short, the students do not understand the material tested, they are unsure with their own answers, no penalty is given for cheating, and even the cheaters get good grades.

Abstract

The objective of the national education that has not been substantially achieved is to promote a generation who believe in One God and have a good character. Educational institutions which are designed to achieve this do only support students’ intellectual education instead of students’ spiritual well-being. Therefore, compre-hensive evaluation on the application of education through Religious Supervisory Program as a technical way should be implemented to achieve the objective of the national education. This paper analyses, the way to enhance spiritual well-being of students.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of the ability to read and write al Quran on Tafseer learning achievement of the second semester students of the Department of Islamic Education and Teaching Faculty UIN Alauddin Makassar academic in year 2013/2014. The method used was quantitative. The variables in this research was the ability to read and write the Koran (X), and Tafseer learning achievement (Y). The population in this study is the second semester students of 2013/2014. The number of respondents were 40 students that was taken by using purposive sampling. The analysis technique used to answer the hypothesis in this study was a descriptive and simple regression analysis. The results showed that the ability to read and write the Koran (X) did not significantly affect the Tafseer learning achievement with the R2 values of 0.081 and 0.075 was the level of significance. The implications of this research is that UIN Alauddin Makassar give much more attention to improve the students’ ability to read and write the Koran. Therefore, it can provide quality improvement of the students themselves.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan baca tulis al-Qur’an terhadap hasil belajar tafsir mahasiswa semester II angkatan 2013/2014 Jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif. Varia-bel dalam penelitian ini adalah Kemampuan baca tulis al-Qur’an (X), dan hasil belajar tafsir (Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah maha­siswa semester II angaktan 2013/2014. Jumlah responden sebanyak 40 Mahasiswa dengan memakai purposive sampling. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk men­jawab hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan baca tulis al-Qur’an (X) berpengaruh namun tidak signifikan terhadap nilai hasil belajar tafsir dengan nilai R2 sebesar 0,081 dan signifkasi 0,075. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu diharapkan PTN UIN Alauddin Makassar memberikan banyak perhatian lebih pada kemampuan baca tulis al-Qur’an. Dengan hal tersebut memberikan peningkatan mutu kualitas pada mahasiswa itu sendiri.

Abstract

The existence of the National Constitution on local government contributes to educational management model. The for-mer centralized education has become decentralized. This leads to the growth of school based management. The purpose of this is to em-power human resources, in particular to the head masters, teachers, administrative staff members, students and their parents, and the local community. They are empowered by giving them authority, and flexi-bility to handle the issues faced by the respective school. In short, school based management is more transparent and accountable, com-munity involvement, active, creative, effective and enjoyable learning.

Abstract

Current life reality has indicated the phenomenon of modern human who have distance from their spiritual awareness. This cannot be separated from the role of parents whose primary task to plant religious values in their family members. Families who are aware of the importance of religious education in the life of their children will definitely create persons with strong spiritual defence towards the challanges of modernity. Conversely, otherwise. Parents is the most influen-tial party in the successfull development of children. However, many parent are currently not aware of their significant role in the personality development of their children. Many parent completely entrust the education of their children to particular school institutions without reliable synergy between the educational institutions and parents for the education of children. As the parenting concept is aimed at preparing strong and high quality generation, it is absolutely important for parents to build their self-capacity with parenting education. This is because in Islamic education, the parenting education is closely linked to pre-conception, pre-natal, and post-natal educations. Therefore, parent candidates must have parenting education in order to generate strong and high quality generations.
