Abstract

Abstrak: Pembaruan adalah proses atau cara membarui yang menghasilkan perubahan da-lam penyesuaian situasi dan kondisi. Pendidikan Islam adalah proses mempersi-apkan generasi muda (pembentukan individu) untuk menjalankan kehidupan (sebagai khalifah) dan untuk memenuhi tujuan hidup secara efektif dan efisien berdasarkan sumber-sumber Islam berupa al-Qura’n, sunnah, dan ijtihad. Pemba-ruan pendidikan Islam merupakan tuntutan kebutuhan dunia pendidikan Islam saat ini. Melihat ketertinggalan dan keterbelakangan umat Islam dewasa ini, maka inti dari pembaruan pendidikan Islam adalah berupaya meninggalkan pola pikir lama yang tidak sesuai dengan kemajuan zaman (future oriented) dan berupa meraih aspek-aspek yang menopang untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan kema-juan zaman. Pendidikan Islam yang sebenarnya adalah balanced between worldly life and hereafter (keseimbangan antara dunia dan akhirat), balanced between revealed knowledge and acquired knowledge (keseimbangan antara pengetahuan wahyu dan pengetahuan usaha manusia), balanced between iman-taqwa and science and technology (keseimbangan antara imtak dan iptek) sehingga menghasilkan kesejahteraan spiritual dan material.Abstract: Renewal is a process or a way of renewing the adjustment results in a change in circumstances. Islamic education is the process of preparing the younger genera-tion (generation people) to run life (as Caliph) and to meet life goals effectively and efficiently based on the Islamic sources, the Qur'an, the sunnah, and ijtihad. Renewal of Islamic education is a demand to the needs of Islamic education in this time. Seeing underdevelopment and backwardness of Muslims today is that the core of the reform of Islamic education is attempting to leave the old mindset that is not in accordance with the progress of time (future oriented) and strive for sustaining aspects to conform with the progress of time. Islamic education is actually is balanced between worldly life and hereafter, balanced between revea-led knowledge and acquired knowledge, balanced between iman-taqwa and science and technology so that resulting spiritual well-being and material well-being.

Abstract

This article deals the role of formal education in the process of enculturation, including six aspects: education and encul-turation, educational policy in Indonesia, educational aspects as cultural phenomena, the functions of culture in education, the role of formal education in the process of enculturation, and the process of enculturation through formal education. The policy of equal right for education is designed to give equal opportunity to all people to get education without discrimination to any ethnic group. Education is an endeavour of developing the community culture to be a modern society, developed and harmonious based on the shared cultural values. Enculturation process is an attempt to guide someone’s attitude and behaviour based on science and skill.

Abstract

Abstract: Expression of the Prophet in the his words خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ need to be examined/investigated its validity in order to generate high motivation for Muslims to practice it. Based on the search results of sanad and Matan of the hadith through many sources and where the focus of the study were Jami at-Tirmidhi, it can be concluded that the quality of hadith  was valid. Thus, the Qur'an as a perfect reading for Muslims who has certain rules in reading, from the mention of the letters, the short or the length, the thickness and the provisions of makharijul of letters need to be learned and taught diligently and earnestly. Learning al-Qur'an includes efforts to learn how to read them, to translate and to understand the laws, the lessons, the instructions contained therein. Likewise, teaching al-Qur'an includes efforts to lead and guide people to read, to translate and to understand the content of the verses of al-Qur'an. People who do it sincerely and earnestly will get the primacy of the al-Qur'an in the form of tranquility, peace of heart and mind as well as the intercession in the hereafter.Abstrak: Ungkapan Rasulullah saw. dalam sabda beliau خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ perlu di­ka­ji­/di­teliti kesahihannya agar dapat menimbulkan motiviasi yang tinggi bagi umat Is­lam untuk mengamalkannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran sanad dan matan ha­­dis melalui sumber yang banyak dan yang dijadikan fokus kajian adalah HR. Imam at-Turmudzy dapat disimpulkan bahwa hadis dimaksud adalah berku­ali­tas sahih. Dengan demikian, al-Qur'an sebagai bacaan sempurna bagi umat Islam yang memiliki kaidah tertentu dalam membacanya, mulai dari penyebutan hu­ruf-hurufnya, panjang pendeknya, tebal tipisnya serta ketentuan makharijul hu­rufnya perlu dipelajari dan diajarkan secara tekun dan sungguh-sungguh. Belajar al-­Qur'an mencakup upaya mempelajari cara membacanya, terjemah, dan mema­ha­mi hukum-hukum, pelajaran-pelajaran, petunjuk-petunjuk yang terkandung di da­lamnya. Begitu pula, mengajarkan al-Qur'an mencakup upaya menuntun dan mem­bimbing orang dalam membaca, menerjemah dan memahamkan kandungan ayat-ayat al-Qur'an. Orang yang melakukannya secara ikhlas dan sungguh-sung­guh akan mendapatkan keutamaan dari al-Qur'an berupa ketenangan, ketente­ra­m­an hati dan pikiran serta syafaat di akhirat kelak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the working stress of female teachers in Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta. The research type was qualitative descriptive research with phenomenological paradigm, ethnographic model, and cultural-psychological approach. The research method was depth interview. The research subjects were female married teachers who had children and experienced work-ing stress. The results: first, the women became teachers because of self-actual-ization, socialization, income and happiness. Second, the forms of stress; physical and psychological. Third, cause of stress; (1) simultaneous tasks of home and office, (2) strict discipline, (3) career demand, (4) picking up the child, (5) having a baby, (6) authoritarian boss, (7) uncomfortable office environment, (8) job position promotion. Fourth, gender inequality factors: (1) double burden, (2) being degraded (3) irrational assumption to female teachers, (4) psychological violence or verbal abuse (5) marginalization. Fifth, solution: (1) mutual respect (2) patient, open, responsible, caring, or avoidance of closeness to the hard and painful character, (3) still working in mild pain and just confiding to close friend, but asking permission when having ill, (5) making a priority job.

Abstract

The concept of Islamic education in Indonesia in fact has been ongoing since the incoming and development of Islam itself. Acceptance of Islam as a patron of life, of course offset by the process of learning to know and to understand the teachings of Islam, as well as a concrete evidence of the birth of Islamic education. In fact, it should be noted that manifestation of Islamic education as a sub system of national education has historically been important in the development of education in Indonesia. That condition is able analyzed of the existence of Islamic education during the colonial era, the time of independence, to the process of integration of Islamic education into the national education system. Thus, the development of education in Indonesia is inseparable from the existence of Islamic education that is rooted in tradition and ritualized religious muslim community in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan dan menilai kualitas bahan ajar matematika berbasis model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan metode penemuan terbimbing pada pokok bahasan teorema Phytagoras yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian research & development (R&D) dengan mengacu pada model 4-D (Four D models). Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas yang dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa (a) hasil validasi bahan ajar adalah  3,50 pada kategori valid karena setiap aspek untuk setiap jenis perangkat berada pada interval 3 , (b) hasil pengamatan keterlaksanaan bahan ajar matematika berbasis model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan metode penemuan terbimbing adalah 1,89 menunjukkan bahwa komponen pengamatan keterlaksanaan berada pada kategori terlaksana seluruhnya (praktis) atau berada pada interval , (c) dari keempat kriteria keefektifan yaitu, kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, keterlaksanaan bahan ajar bagi siswa, respon siswa dan tes hasil belajar, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada tahap uji coba terbatas dilaksanakan, perangkat bahan ajar matematika berbasis model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan metode penemuan terbimbing telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.Abstract:The study was a developmental research aiming at determining the process of developing and assessing the quality of teaching materials based on cooperative model of STAD type with guided discovery method on valid, practical, and effective Pythagoras theory subject. The type of research used was Research & Development (R&D) by referring to the 4-D model (Four D Models). The subjects of the study were the students of class VIII7 MTsN Model Makassar with a total of 40 students. Based on the results of the limited trial conducted, it was found that (a) the validation result of the teaching materials was 3.50 in the valid category as every aspect for each type of device was at the interval of 3≤ M <4, (b) the observation result of the implementation of mathematics teaching materials based on cooperative model of STAD type with guided discovery method was 1.89 indicating that the observation component of the implementation was in the category of executed entirely (practically) or it was at the interval of 1.5 ≤ X ̅≤ 2, (c) of the four criteria of effectiveness that was, the teacher’s ability to manage the learning, the implementation of teaching materials for students, the students’ responses and learning result test, it can be concluded that at the limited trial stage implemented, the mathematics learning materials based on cooperative model of STAD type with guided discovery method had fulfilled the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness.

Abstract

Abstract: Tulisan ini membahas tentang kecerdasan spiritual sebagai puncak kecerdasan jauh melejit melebihi IQ dan EQ. IQ atau disebut Intelligence quotient adalah suatu bentuk kecerdasan yang bersandarkan nalar, rasio intelektual, yaitu cara berpikir secara linier yang meliputi kemampuan berhitung, menganalisa sampai mengevaluasi. Sementara EQ atau emotional Quotient bersandarkan emosional, yaitu kecerdasan yang mampu mengendalikan emosi dan memberi empati sehingga seseorang mampu bersikap wajar. Maka hakikat sejati SQ atau spiritual quotient disandarkan pada kecerdasan jiwa. Kecerdasan ini melahirkan kemampuan un-tuk menemukan makna hidup, serta memperhalus budi pekerti, SQ sebagai pun-cak kecerdasan menurut Danah Zohar, ini berarti bahwa makna kehidupan me-rupakan tujuan hidup yang pertama dan utama bagi manusia. Hanya orang-orang cerdas secara spiritual mampu memberi makna dalam hidupnya.Abstract: This paper discusses the spiritual intelligence as the ultimate intelligence which exceeds the IQ and EQ. IQ or intelligence quotient is a form of intelligence that based on reasoning, intellectual ratio, which is a linear way of thinking that in-cludes the ability to count, analyze to evaluate. While EQ or Emotional Quotient based on emotional, namely the intelligence which is capable to control emotions and give empathy so a person is able to act natural. Therefore the true nature of the SQ or spiritual intelligence quotient was based on the soul. This intelligence makes people to have the ability to find meaning in life, as well as refine the manners. According to Danah Zohar SQ as the ultimate intelligence means that the meaning of life is the first and foremost goal of life for humans. Only intelligent people spiritually who can give meaning in his life.

Abstract

It is widely accepted that educational institution plays an important role in developing human resource. Due to this, high quality educational institutions should be thoroughly developed. It is argued that to develope high quality education depends strongly on the government policy, particularly in the issue of autonomy level of the institution. The concept of school based management which leads educational institution to be more independent is a relevant model of developing good quality education. This model allows community at large to actively participate in developing the quality of education.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi program pendampingan kuri­ku­lum 2013 pada tahap perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pendampingan. Penelitian di­lakukan di Gugus III Kecamatan Jatiasih Bekasi. Jenis penelitian adalah pe­ne­li­tian evaluasi dengan menggunakan metode penggabungan (mixed method) untuk menganalisis data. Sumber data terdiri atas Ketua Gugus, Instruktur Nasional Ku­rikulum 2013, dan guru model. Instrumen penelitian adalah pedoman wa­wan­cara, lembar observasi, angket, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data kua­li­tatif mencakup reduksi data; penyajian data; dan verifikasi data. Data ku­antitatif dianalisis dengan menghitung persentase berdasarkan kriteria tidak baik, kurang baik, cukup baik, baik, dan sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bah­wa pe­ren­canaan program pendampingan dilakukan melalui enam langkah mendesain tujuan, mengidentifikasi potensi, menfasilitasi orientasi bersama, mencocokkan, mem­persiapkan peralatan, implementasi pendampingan, dan mengevaluasi dan revisi. Terdapat kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam mengimplementasikan ku­rikulum 2013, yaitu pendekatan saintifik, membuat soal ulangan harian, reka­pi­tulasi nilai ke dalam rapot. Implementasi pendampingan dalam pelaksanakan K 2013 mengarah pada pembiasaan untuk mengembangkan aspek kognisi, afeksi, dan psikomotor. Pandangan guru tentang pelaksanaan pendampingan K 13 ber­ada pada kategori baik.Abstract: The purpose of this study was to evaluate mentoring program of 2013 curriculum that focused on planning and implementation phases. The study was conducted in Cluster III Jatiasih District of Bekasi. The type of research was evaluation study by mixed method to analyze the data. The data source consisted of the chairman of the cluster, national instructor of 2013 curriculum, and the model teachers. The research instruments were interview guide, observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation tools. The techniques of qualitative data analysis include data reduction displays, conclusion drawing and verification. Quantitative data were analyzed by calculating the percentage based on the criteria “not good, poorly good, fairly good, good, and excellent. The results showed that the mentoring program planning is done through a six steps; designing objectives, identifying potential, facilitating orientation, matching, preparing equipment, implemen­ta­tion, evaluation and revision. There were constraints faced by teachers in imple­menting the 2013 curriculum, namely scientific approach, making daily quiz, score recapitulation and report card. Implementation of 2013 curriculum men­to­ring leads to cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The teachers’ opinion on the mentoring program of 2013 curriculum was in the good category.

Abstract

This paper theoretically deals some aspects related to Differential Item Functioning (DIF), consisting of Test and Test Bias. The purpose of this is to describe the importance of understanding Different Item Functioning or to discuss its existence. Based on the theoretical connotation of DIF, it can be inferred that DIF may be used to make sure whether or not a bias item of a test exists. For example, a test item shows the existence of DIF when the tested from different group having the same ability do not have the same opportunity to answer the item correctly. Therefore, understanding the DIF, a teacher may avoid item bias on a test to exist.
