Abstract

In this modern times, the level of the needs of human life more varied. Not only food, cloth and board to the main needs of the community’s city. But the city will seek this type of other necessities if the needs of the main have been fulfilled. One of them is to meet the needs in the field of entertainment and recreation. Therefore the city of Pekanbaru have some place of recreation, such us : The Recreation Park of Alam Mayang, The Park of Putri Kacang Mayang, a City Park, The City Forest, The Museum of Sang Nila Utama, The Full MTQ and The Art of Idrus Tintin, The Monument Locomotive and etc. Recreation has become an essential element in the life of modern society or urban areas. Income, the conditions of work and the development of transportation that is getting better has been giving people more money, time and mobility is higher for doing recreation. Naturally, human beings are capable of creating a place of recreation of her or his own. Humans create a place of recreation, because of narrow space open public in the city of Pekanbaru. Place recreation is available was still can not give satisfaction for the city of Pekanbaru. To that end, every society and individuals will be looking for something new, or a new, as well as places that feels could be their recreation alternative. This is what makes people interested in visiting the Stadion of Riau are beginning to function as facilities and infrastructure the sport to the show will complete for the 2012, even changing the function of a place where an alternative society because the grandeur of the building and the location for doing recreation, such as sports or just a place of young man or girls. Altough visitors to the Stadion of Riau are aware of punishment that is like the lighting at night, the lack of management of hygiene and management supervision, but visitors can just ignore it because visitors more concerned with rewards that they can, like not the cost, the recreation not so far from the visitors residence, as well as the venue of the Stadion Utama Riau and the existence of its own for the society of Riau. The recreation that most often by visitors in the Stadion of Riau is the activity of the food and beverage, the activities of the game and sports, as well as activities of youth.Keywords : Recreation, Society, and Over the Function.

Abstract

Lifestyle of urban society that often modern actually related with society area as central government bussines, education and entertainment. At first karaoke considered as a expansive entertainment and look as evening entertainment in negative conotation by almost Indonesian people. At the time place of karaoke that first looked negative in as long as reduce because in almost place of karaoke called friendly. Place of karaoke that we done in this research is Family Box the location in HR. Soebrantas Street Panam of Pekanbaru City.The purpose of this research is to find out what the meaning of Family Box karaoke for students and to know what the factors that make students visited Family Box karaoke. The method that used in this research is kualitatif method with descriptive research. In data collections the researcher use a participations observations. observation is equipped with photo cameras. Interview used is indepth interview be guided in interview guide which had been prepared in advance. The device that used in interview is filed note and tape recorder. Data analysis that used in this research is kualitatif data analysis.The results of this research show that karaoke as a lifestyle of urban society. With karaoke students get having fun and satiesfied that you cand relive stress and mind burden that they felt. With hanging out and joking with friends in the room of the karaoke for society is effective to refreshing.Key Words :Karaoke, Students and Meaning.

Abstract

Adolescence is the transition to where the state of emotion not yet stable so very easily accept changes. Changes that occurred was the emergence of the punk  community and it’s is no stranger in people ear’s. Punk as a esistance to capitalism that happened anciently until now. That they show with the fancy appearance and and different activities. Mowhak hair , ears and the nose pierced ( percing ) , boots , a chain , black clothes , jeans and tattoo inherent in their body are the  fancy apperance of them with  activities like of singing for money and gathered fellow punk be a negative connotation in the eyes of the general public. Then what motivation teenager so choose a member of the punk community? This research is useful to answer that problems on,  with  6 members of punk community that found in different places as the subject or informants in this research. Data collection method through observation and in-depth interviews with members of the punk. Community. The results of research that served in a qualitative descriptive showed motivation instrinsik teenagers become a member of punk community are  appearance and comfort while Extrinsic motivation are  family and influence their peers. The fact community of punk its can  fulfill their  need based  motivation, Who served using McCelland theory , but the results of research shows the needs for power not found in the punk community. Then the views themselves against punk very positive including their view on the community that they consider punk also part therein. Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to determine the strategy of street prostitutes in getting customer and the way they interact and have relationships among prostitutes. The research methode to analyze the data in this study is using qualitative analysis. In urban areas, a problem that caused by society is a social problem. The problems that arise because of the diversity of the communities in this urban areas. Whether it's the diversity of race, culture, religion and so forth, among these problems there is the problem of prostitution, the prostitute problems are like mushrooms in the rainy season. Prostitutes are selling sexual services, such as oral sex or sexual intercourse to get the money. Pekanbaru is a crowded city with a lot of activities, although not included in big cities categories, but the capital city of riau is a bustling area with a bus main terminal, With so many crowded places in the downton of Pekanbaru, this is the places that many street prostitutes comes up every night. The majority age of street prostitutes in Pekanbaru is 28-32 years old. They were less educated, most of them was graduated from elementary school and come from  ​​Padang, Sukabumi, Tanjung Balai, Bandung. Furthermore, the majority of street prostitutes is worked individually, with revenue of Rp 100,000 to Rp 300,000 per night. There are so many strategies undertaken by the prostitutes to get customer, some of it is they wear sexy dress, scrubs, wearing wallet powder, herbal drinks, sports, flower bath and some of them also used implant. Interaction between them is very strong, both in terms of positive and negative terms. Interaction that occurs between them, whether it’s cooperation, competition and conflict. The majority of street prostitutes have another job during the day to look for additional money, in the evening they start to hung in the streets. The majority of street prostitutes is working as a street prostitute is for reasons of economic factor and uneducated factor. Keywords: prostitution, interaction, strategy

Abstract

This study was to determine the Effect of Motivation on Employee Morale Business Banking (Studies Achievement In Need Implementation of Bank BNI Branch Rengat). This research is located PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Branch Rengat. Which is located on Regent Street 17 B Sincere Rengat. The research population is all employees at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Branch Rengat which amounts to 32 people. Analysis of the data in this study using SPSS. The sampling technique used is the method of census data and testing techniques used in this study include validity, reliability, simple linear regression and t-test to test and prove the research hypothesis.The analysis showed that the Effect of Motivation on Employee Morale Business Banking (Studies Achievement In Need Implementation of Bank BNI Rengat). Based on the results obtained by the value of r (correlation coefficient) of 0.691% means that 69.1% application need achievement motivation variable significant effect on the morale of Bank BNI Rengat. Results of hypothesis testing found that t-count larger than t-table which means Ha accepted.Keywords: Motivation, Need Achievement, and spirit at work

Abstract

Bisexual is adeviant sexual behavior. This sex has done by man to man and man to woman at once. The man is called gay and the woman is lesbian. This sexual orientation is very risky sexual behaviors that causes HIV/AIDS. This researchaims to find out the causes of what makes someone become bisexual and their relationships with families, couples and society. There is four informant in this research the informants, they have various experience inprocess of becoming bisexual. The research data were collected by interview, observation and documentation. The interview were used is a structured interview where the researchers first preparing a guidance interview. According to previous research it can be concluded that th bisexual is deviant sexual behavior. The entire informants is from the outside of Pekanbaru and have long settled in Pekanbaru. Their backgrounds were being a bisexual is because of the encouragement of psychological, sexual harassment, family and environmental influences. They have very good relationship with families, couples and society. Yettend to be introverted to the public because bisexual behavioris not appropriate with norms society.Keywords: bisexual, deviant sexual behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this present research was to analyze the Regulation of Geng Motor in Pekanbaru Year 2012-2013 (Study of City Government at Public Policy Procedure). Cruelness which was done by geng motor in Pekanbaru really fidgety society and rise victims, so the researcher interested to analyze the regulation of geng motor. The problems in this research were; what factor because geng motor show up, why perda number 5 year 2002 did not optimal, and why perda was not synergy to prevent public procedure.Qualitative research was used in this research. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive. This research used observation document and interview with informant. The data was primary and secondary from observation and interview.Based on this research of regulation of geng motor in Pekanbaru year 2012-2013 (study of city government at public policy procedure) is suggest that happen because identity crisis of teen, bad influence from age friend, weak of self-control, community and bad environment. Problem of geng motor not only classing public procedure but also include in law area and have to act undoubtful by officers in this problem is policy. Abstract

Indonesia is a country with muslim poeple as majority, and Prudential Insurence company sees it as an opportunity to fullfil muslim people’s need with the insurence based on sharia. That is why Prudential Insurence company has strategy to launch sharia insurence product and it is called Prudential Unit Link Sharia Account and also increasing the ability of agents as negotiator for marketing the sharia product.This research aims to determine about the strategy of Prudential Insurence company to increase customer and gain muslim people’s interest on insurence in Indonesia. Prudential company comes from United Kingdom and currently become the biggest and the best insurence company in Indonesia.This reasearch is based on librarian research like book, relevant journal, newspaper and internet. In this research, the writer uses qualitative and quantitative research method. Using a level analysis of group, the perspective uses is liberal perspective to understanding the strategies use by Prudential Insurance company.Keyword: Prudential, Insurence, Muslim Indonesia, Sharia.

Abstract

Hotel Pangeran Pekanbaru is one of the four star hotel in Pekanbaru. Hotel is a type of business that is engaged in services which compete to provide good facilities and services. Increase the number of hotels in Pekanbaru, the Hotel Pangeran Pekanbaru should be able to compete and survive in this competitive hospitality industry. This study aims to identify and analyze the competitive strategy Hotel Pangeran Pekanbaru. This is a descriptive study with case study and data collection techniques performed by interviewing the parties involved in this study. From the results of interviews conducted can be analyzed that the Hotel Pangeran Pekanbaru continue competition in improving the quality of service and facilities that will be offered to consumers by putting prices, products, services corresponding to the four-star standard and continue to compete with a new kind of hotel in Pekanbaru.Keywords: business strategy, SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunity, Treats), SWOT Analysis
