Abstract

This research describes how the Indonesian strategy to maintain security-related border areas of the South China Sea conflict in 2009-2014. South China Sea conflict until now have been not found a point of completion. Conflict continues to grow with the increasing military power among claimant states. Escalation of the conflict surely threaten security in the region. Although not a claimant states, Indonesia have a direct border with the South China Sea and has an interest in those waters, that is political, economic and security stability. Indonesia conducted a series of steps to secure its interests in the form of a decision as Indonesia in maintaining security strategy, especially directly adjacent to the South China Sea. This research used qualitative methods, and approaches realism. Using the analysis of the nation-state level and using the theory of security strategy. Results of this research is the increasing capability of Indonesian military capability enhancement through minimum essential force (MEF) 2010-2014. The addition of the number of troops and military fleets in Natuna as a form of Indonesia's readiness to face any possibility of conflict. Then preventive diplomacy by Indonesia went well for reducing conflict among the claimant states. To increased border management by negotiating border lines with neighboring countries and increase activity in the border region in the form of oil exploration in the waters of Natuna as a form of existence Indonesia in that area.keyword : conflict, diplomacy, security, south china sea

Abstract

Smartphone is a mobile phone that has a high rate capability, which is almost like a computer. The us of smartphones seems to be a need for all leves of society, including teenagers, for teenagers smartphone has a positive impact and negative. The problem in this research are : 1. How do student understanding of smartphpone of the smartphone ? 2. How can the impact of smartphone on student ? 3. How is the level of students adaptation of smartphone users the apliying the theory Evereet Rogers? The purpose of this research is to determind the impact of mobile phone use among student. Population and sample in this studi was a class XI grader uses a smartphone with data collection questioner and technic using descriptive qualitative interviews. Abstract

This study aimed to determined and analyze the performance of the functions of the HeadOffice of assignment in fostering RT/RW in political district administered by a village chief KotaBaru subdistrict Pekanbaru Kota and for to find out the factors that inhibit the function of the HeadOffice of assignment in fostering RT/RW in political district administered by a village chief KotaBaru subdistrict Pekanbaru Kota.This research method using qualitative and quantitative methods. This type of reseacrh thatwill be used is survey research. The sample withdrawal tecnique used in this study the author thereare technique for the population census, head of authors use census given limited population, as wellas the withdrawal of sample RT and RW that is in the location of research using census technique.These result indicate that the functions of the Head Office of assignment in fostering RT/RWin political district administered by a village chief Kota Baru subdistrict Pekanbaru Kota for a goodresponse to the complainant as 6 person or 24% of the respondents. Then for a response less welladdresed as much as 4 person or 16% of the respondents.Keywords: Functions, Head Office of assignment

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of total quality management on the performance of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Ranting Bangkinang.Data collected by the data collection techniques through questionnaires and performed simple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 17.Results of research conducted by a simple linear regression analysis on the obtained value of b (regression coefficient) of 0.120 for constanta at 22.149, where an independent variable that any change in the total quality management increased by one unit then it will affect the dependent variable employee performance will suffer keanikan of 0.052, Based on these results it can be concluded that the value of the correlation coefficient has a low value or positive, it means that there is the influence of total quality management on employee performance. While the value of determination (effect) between total quality management on the performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Branch Bangkinang showed significant influence and has a strong relationship level.Keyworsd: Total Quality Management, Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract

This research aims to find the implications of leadership on keep spirit of nurses in Santa Maria Hospital Pekanbaru. Leadership as an independent variable (X) consist of leadership telling, selling, participating, and delegating. And keep spirit as the dependent variable (Y) cosist pf salary, incentive and allowance and improvement of welfare.The research used sample of the nurses in Santa Maria Pekanbaru. The number of this sample is 67 persons with slovin. This research is also used Stratified proportional random sampling. Data of this research is primary data, with spread questions to the nurses. The data analysis of this research is statistical analysis with SPSS program.This research shows that leadership as independent variable is positive implications for the nurses who worked at Santa Maria Hospital Pekanbaru as coefficeents determination value (R2) is 0,40, it mens that 40% and 60% is not served in this researvh.Keyword : Leadership Situational, Keep sprit, nurses

Abstract

Siak Mining and Energy (SPE) Ltd. Co of Siak regency is one of regional ownedenterprises (BUMD) owned by Siak regency, Riau where this company is a work over andwell services. From the first established, Siak Mining and Energy Ltd. Co of Siak regencyhas conducted training and education for its employees through Cepu Oil and Gas TrainingCenter. Implementation of training and education is expected to maximize the productivityor employees performance of Siak Mining and Energy (SPE) Ltd. Co of Siak regency. Theaim of this study is to analyze training and education applied to employees of outside area,to analyze performance of outside area and analyze influence of training and educationtoward employees performance of Siak Mining and Energy (SPE) Ltd. Co of Siak regency.The sample is 50 respondents where use purposive sampling technique. Data are collectedby spreading questionnaire to respondent and the data are analyzed using Uij-t and SimpleLinear Regression. Statistical analysis using SPSS version 17 is used to analyze data. Thefindings of study indicated where coefficient of determination is 0.823. It shows thattraining and education affect employees performance is 82.3%.Keyword: Education and Training Performance, Employees Of Outside Area

Abstract

Safety and healthy works means that the planning process and controlling situation that works accident according the preparing standard procedure that can be the guidence in working. The employees are the people working in under organisation with one system activity that commounding from the some people with coorporation to reaching the goal, one of the parrameter’s personal succes team or the organisation placed in productivity. if the productivity is low it’s called NO or less succes.The location of this research will doing in PT. Geliga Bagan Riau addressed in jalan Dusun Bhakti komplek bagan permai 55 kecamatan bagan sinembah kabupaten rokan hilir provinsi riau. The aims of this research is to determine the corralation safety and healthy works by the productivity.The method that used in this research is analyze instrument corralation spearman by the SPSS programe, in order to the sample that using in this reserach is the employee position PT. Geliga Bagan Riau and as the source of information is the Manager. To determine the sample used the slovin formula, and technic to take the sample is simple random sampling. The way to take the data through the interview, observation, dan quesioner.Based on the data analyze contain of the validity test, reabilitas, and corralation spearman test rank, the strategy to do safety and healthyworks in this research contain of the five (5) component that is the condition and employee condition,works environment, protecting the employee, work place, mechine and the equipment, works attitude, skills, and the corralation between works environment, management of the productivity and effciency labour. Safety and healthy works (K3) have the corralation by the works productivity with coofisien value about 0,646 with value of t counts bigger than t table (7,395 > 2,007).Key words : safethy and healthy work, productivity

PHC, is a functional organization that organizes health effort that is comprehensive, integrated, equitable, acceptable and affordable by the community, with the active participation of the community and use the results of the development of science and appropriate technology, at a cost that can be borne by the government and society. service is an activity or sequence of events that occur in the interaction between a person directly or with another person or machine physically and provide customer satisfaction. Happens in the health center services Rejosari for patients who visit many expressed good and satisfying service. Although there are some who declare less good service. The theory used is the theory of perception. Perception can be defined as the process of organizing sitimulus received by the individual senses, then interpreted so that individuals are aware of and understand about what is acceptable to the senses. Perception is an integrated state of the person who receives the stimulus, then what is in a person, the experiences will participate actively in these perceptions. The method used is descriptive quantitative, then the respondent by means anyone who inadvertently meet with researchers and investigators in accordance with the characteristics specified then that person can be used as respondents. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress and work environments on job satisfaction of nurses Hospital Balige HKBP. Where the proposed two independent variables and the dependent variable, namely the stress of work and the working environment act as the independent variable and job satisfaction act as the dependent variable.The population in this study were nurses HKBP Balige Hospital, with sampling amounted to 53 people with slovin formula. Search procedures performed by accidental sampling. The research data in the form of primary data, with the questionnaire as a research instrument, data analysis used is menggunakanan statistical analysis with SPSS.Results of analysis using multiple linear regression, t test and f test so it can be seen that the work stress variables negatively affect the job satisfaction of nurses (H1), that the work environment a significant effect on job satisfaction of nurses (H2), and a significant relationship between work stress and the work environment to nurse job satisfaction (H3).Keywords : Work Stress, Work Environment and Job Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze incentives and employee morale at PT. Sari Lembah Subur Sub-District. Ganduang District Pelalawan as well as to determine the influence of Incentives Against Employee Morale on the PT. Sari Lembah Subur Sub-District. Ganduang District Pelalawan. Providing incentives for production employees at PT. Sari Lembah Subur Sub-District. Ganduang District Pelalawan already well underway. However, there are deficiencies which led incentives granted to employees perceived by respondents still inadequate. As well as employee morale in the production of PT. Sari Lembah Subur Sub-District. Ganduang District Pelalawan already good. However, there are deficiencies that cause not maximum employee morale. Results of analysis with SPSS, showed that the independent variables are incentives (X) has a very strong relationship to the dependent variable, namely Employee Morale (Y). Incentives provide a positive and significant influence on Employee Morale, so if it will lead to enhanced incentives to increase employee morale.
