Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the role of institutions in the course of socializationtraffic regulations to discipline the driver's car in traffic (2) determine what form of trafficviolations committed by the driver of the car. Materials provided by the institution driving courseis divided into two, namely the material in an enclosed area and open area. To determine the roleof the researcher compared the course of understanding between participants driving courseswith drivers who do not use the services of a driving course.The results of this research found that the understanding of the driving technique amongcourse participants driving with drivers who do not use the services of the course does not have asignificant difference, or can be called both of them have almost the same understanding.But knowledge of the Law No. 22 on Traffic and Land Transportation, both on traffic signsand road markings and disciplinary problems in driving looks very striking difference is the levelof discipline driver course participants is higher than drivers who do not use the services of thecourse.keywords: Car Driver, Traffic Discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the motivate of pekan baru culture andtourism department staff and also to determine the dominant factor whichaffecting their motivation.This study using descritive qualitatve method to examine the issues raised.This study took sample as much as 40 peoples. Medium use to collect data wereobservation, interview, questionnaire. Interval were determine by using likertscale.According to the result of this study, staff motivation in pekanbaru cultureand tourism department were high. The most dominat factor that afffecting theirmotivation are the maintaining factor (extrinsic) namely compensation. Accordingto respondents feedback, provision an appropriate compensation that predefinedby the organizations will give great affect towards to staff motivation inpekanbaru culture & tourism department, and vice versa.Keywords : human resources, peformance, work motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is: 1) determine the quality of education at Junior High School 17, Pekanbaru, and 2) determine the role of the school committee in improving the quality of education at Junior High School 17 Pekanbaru. Research by the author is using a qualitative approach. In the course of collecting data, the writer used interview, observation, and documentation. As for the analysis, the writer uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques, the data in the form of written or spoken of observed behavior and so in this case the author seeks to conduct research that is thoroughly describe the actual state of affairs.The results of this study are: First, the quality of education at Junior High School 17 Pekanbaru can be quite good, this can be seen in terms of input, process and output. Second, the role of school committees in improving the quality of education at Junior High School 17 Pekanbaru, including: 1) As consideration giver (advisory agency): SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru Committee as the principal partner has given consideration in any plans and programs prepared by the schools, for example in terms of rehab facilities and buildings damaged, widen mushalla, procurement of equipment prayer (mukenah and gloves). In addition, the school committee also provided input and consideration in setting RAPBS, giving consideration in the implementation process of the management of education in schools and identify the educational resources available in the community for consideration and seconded at school. 2) As a supporter (supporting agency): the role of the school committee as a subsidiary body for implementation and improving the quality of education, especially education in SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru is the form of financial support, personnel, and support the mind. 3) As a control (controlling agency): SMP school committee in 17 Pekanbaru exercise control over decision making and planning education in schools, in addition to the allocation of funds and resources for the implementation of programs in schools. The school committee also perform control functions to the success of education in schools is seen from the quality of educational output. 4) as a mediator (executive agency): School Committee SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru in these many benefits, which in the presence of the school committee, the aspirations of the students and parents can be channeled and represented. In addition, the school has always had the support of the school committee in order to continue to improve the quality of education.Keywords: Effectiveness, School Committee, Quality of Education

Abstract

This research discusses about the impact of Indonesia's participation in the G-20 membership of the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia 2007-2011. G-20 is a group of economic cooperation between developed countries and developing countries. As an economic forum, the G-20 more into the arena of consultation and cooperation matters related to the international monetary system. Impact of Indonesia's participation in the G-20 membership put to good use as a platform to promote the country to improve the economy and the welfare state and place for diplomacy, increase foreign confidence in the ability of Indonesia in terms of exports and imports. So that makes Saudi Arabia increase its cooperative relations with Indonesia.The author analyzes this case by finding data and facts gathered through some literature from books, journals, and websites. Concepts used in analyzing the impact of Indonesia's participation in the G-20 membership of the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia 2007-2011 is the concept of the national interest and the concept of international cooperation.This research shows that the impact of Indonesia's participation in the G-20 membership of the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia in 2007-2011 was Indonesia can exploit this situation to improve economic relations with Saudi Arabia were also fellow members of the G-20, especially in terms of oil imports.Keywords: Impact, G-20, International Cooperation, Saudi Arabia, Imports, Oil.

Abstract

The television show is not only have a positive impact, but also the negative impact if not filtered properly, the impact would affect the behavior of television viewers. The majority of television shows are currently only prioritize entertainment, and the exclusion of education inside them. KPID has been have some strategys to bring the desired goals. This research aims to determine how the communication strategy communication of Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah (KPID) Riau in optimizing media literacy programs to television viewers in Riau and the obstacles encountered in performing that strategy communication of KPID in optimizing media literacy programs to television viewers in Riau.This research was conducted in (KPID) Riau Jl. Gajah Mada No. 200 Pekanbaru. for the record, this research using deskriptif kualitatif metode and analisis model data interactive miles and Huberman. Informants in this research are the commissioner of KPID Riau, students, and perents. Data collection techniques are using observations, interviews and documentations.The results of the reasearch showed that strategy communication of Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah (KPID) Riau so obvious a way to optimize the literacy of media between knowing a target communications, communications media selection, message communication assessment purposes, the role of communicators in the communication to the charms and the credibility of the source, the formation of KCM and KCSI, and cooperation. As for the KPID constraints in optimizing media literacy program is the community, the lack of public understanding of media literacy, as well as the public areas that are difficultKey Word :Strategy of communication, Audience, media literacy.

Abstract

This paper discusses the differences before the abolition of trade barriers as a whole and after the holding of the elimination of tariff barriers as a whole since the merger of Mexico into NAFTA. This study is compiled from some resourse and references including book, newspaper, magazines and some site in internet. It is qualitative method by using the theory of international organization of Michael Hass. With the issuance of Chapter 7 of the regulation of agricultural trade regulation and enforcement of the FTA in total, helping boost agricultural exports products throughout the NAFTA member countries, especially Mexico. This research regulations issued by the NAFTA on agriculture have a positive impact on agriculture in Mexico on the mark with the growing number of Mexican farm exports in the current holding of tariff elimination.Key words : Regional Organizations, International Political Economy, NAFTA, Mexico.

Abstract

Pekanbaru City government has set a minimum wage for Rp.1.450.000 Pekanbaru City, - per month for the year 2013, as stated in Riau Governor Regulation No. 67 Year 2012 on Minimum Wage District / City Seprovinsi Riau in 2013. With the enactment of the Governor of Riau expected labor welfare will increase and as an effort to improve the welfare of society. The problem in this research is how the implementation of the minimum wage Pekanbaru City and inhibiting factors in carrying out the implementation of the minimum wage of Pekanbaru. As for the goal in this study to determine the extent of implementation of the minimum wage Pekanbaru City and to determine the factors inhibiting the implementation of the minimum wage in the process of Pekanbaru.Theoretical concept that researchers used is implementation, public policy. This study uses qualitative research methods to study descriptively. In collecting the data, the researcher used interview techniques, observation, and literature study. By using key informants as a source of information.The results showed that the implementation of the minimum wage Pekanbaru City conducted by the Department of Labor has not been effective Pekanbaru City. Limiting factors in implementing the minimum wage implementation of Pekanbaru, namely: lack of complaints that workers can not wage minimum wage, maximum less supervision, the absence of strict sanctions.Keywords: Implementation, Public Policy, minimum wage.

Abstract

Traffic and road transport is part of the national transportation system must be developed to realize the potential and role of security, safety, order and the smooth traffic and road transport in order to support economic development and regional development. Transportation system must be in order and continuously refined to ensure the mobility of people and goods in order to ensure the welfare of society. Therefore to realize the implementation of traffic and road transport that is safe, safe, orderly, and well, need the support of the network and the availability of support facilities and transport traffic and good road worthy. As the result of the author’s observation on the field are still many roads that the country siak not equipped with traffic signs in conformity with the needs and placement of signs that do not consider the condition of the road, the placement of signs that do not consider the condition of the road will cause hazardous conditions for the road users. Problem is this research is how to coordinate the setting of traffic signs in siak district and what are the factors that affect the coordination arrangement of traffic signs in siak district. As for the purpose of this research is to investigate the coordination arrangement of traffic signs and to determine the factors that influence the coordination arrangement of traffic signs.The concept of the theory is that researchers use is the organization, coordination, traffic signs, and traffic. This study uses qualitative research methods to study descriptive data. In data collection, the researcher used interview techniques, observation and study of literature. Using key informans as a source of information.The results of this study indicate that the coordination arrangements of traffic signs in siak district has not been efektive, it can be seen from the lack of traffic signs in siak district roads and there are many signs that the placement is not in accordance with the road conditions. Factors that affect the coordination arrangement of traffic signs is the organization of work, work methods, scheduling, and cost.Keywords: Coordination, Traffic Signs, Traffic

Abstract

This research describes the Government Policies In Empowerment Bhutan TourismSector to Enter SAFTA (South Asian Free Trade Area) 2002-2007. Bhutan's tourism industrybegan in 1974 It was introduced with the main objective to increase revenue, especiallyforeign exchange and publish unique culture and traditions of the country to the outsideworld, and contribute to socio-economic development of the country. In the tourism sector,tourism policy of Bhutan also developed in accordance with the principle of "high value lowimpact".Bhutan tourism development experience a variety of problems, challenges andobstacles that national and global scale. There should also be a change of paradigm inlooking at tourism in the context of national development.The research method used is a descriptive of qualitative research method about thefacts. This research is an explanatory that describe about problem, indication, policies, andactions. In writing techniques, the author’s collect and collate data through library researchfrom several sources like books, journals, articles, websites, the media and others. Theauthor’s also use decision making theory and the theory of comparative advantage.This research shows Bhutan's development philosophy is based on GNH has becomethe principle for socio-economic development of Bhutan. The concept of GNH defines Bhutandevelopment goals as improvement in the happiness and satisfaction of the people better thanthe growth of Gross National Product (GNP).
