Abstract

Needs of home for the community in Pekanbaru City is still a lot that has not meet the standards worthy to live in. So the condition is so close to poverty. In fact, a house or decent residence is a major factor through government policy through the Office of Public Housing and Settlement Area to conduct a habitable home program but still found a habitable house that has not been rehabilitated and only recorded. The purpose of this study is how the Implementation of Government Policy In Development House Eligible Habitation in Pekanbaru City and to know the inbibiting factor of Government Policy Implementation In Development House Dwelling in Pekanbaru Town.The concept of theory used by the author is implementation. Researchers use qualitative research with descriptive study. In collecting data, the author uses interview and observation techniques. The author uses the informant for source in the validity of data. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of government policy in the construction of housing in Pekanbaru City that policy implementation of the development of residential areas with the pattem of government policy in the implementation of the construction of habitable homes in Pekanbaru City has not been fully successful because there are still many homes uninhabitable only in the data and yet rehabilitated by the government. Abstract

This research is a contemporary political study which describes The influence of the Minamata Convention on Mercury Emergency in Indonesia. This research will focus on how a treaty makes an effect on a country. This study is interesting because it describes about Minamata treaty and mercury emergency in Indonesia. Minamata Convention is an international agreement designed to protect human health, aims to manage mercury efficiently, effectively and coherently, while members strive for total elimination.This is qualitative research which uses descriptive methods, and collected data from some resources like books, journals, official publications and its relevant websites. This paper uses the constructivism perspective and International Treaty Theory. The object in this research is environment an main actor in International Relations.The result of this research shows that The influence of the Minamata Convention on mercury emergencies in Indonesia, which can reduce mercury emergency status in Indonesia. Ratification of Law No. 11 of 2017 concerning Ratification of the Minamata Convention on Mercury. Reduction in mercury consumption, product replacement / removal, waste management and mercury control at the source.the use of technology in the remediation of land contaminated with mercury is adsorption, phytoremediation, stabilization, and immobilization.Keywords: Treaty, Mercury, Constructivism, Ratification, Minamata Covention

Abstract

With the enactment of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, it is a great opportunity for every village throughout Indonesia to be able to develop their potential independently in accordance with the needs of each village in realizing the welfare of their community. The existence of the Village Head is very important in developing the village's potential to improve village developmentThis study aims to: 1) know and understand the motivations of prospective Village Heads to win the Position of the Village Chief. 2) knowing and understanding the steps taken by the Village Chief Candidates to win the Position of the Village Chief. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques used in this study were interview observation and documentation.Research results from the motivational variables of the researchers used an approach from Maslow's Theory consisting of 5 Needs. While the steps taken by prospective researchers carried out 2 approaches, namely an approach to the community and youth and an approach through close relatives. From the results of the study, the motivation of the four prospective village heads was tiered. Namely physical needs, safety and security needs, social needs, the need for appreciation or prestige, actualization needs.Keywords: Motivation, Steps for Candidates for Village Heads, PILKADES

Abstract

Services of PT. PLN (Limited Liability Company) In Prepaid Consumers Rayon Panam City Pekanbaru has been running since 2009. This research was conducted to obtain and view information about the community in receiving services from PT. Prepaid PLN for consumers. The launch of the prepaid electricity program is a manifestation of PLN's commitment to continuously improve its services to customers with various forms of innovation. The concept of service is not the same, depending on the perceptions of each person who receives the service. Therefore, it is very important for PT PLN (Limited Liability Company) Rayon Panam to find out how much the quality of service for Prepaid consumers they provide to customers and to find out what factors influence the operation of PT. PLN (Limited Liability Company) on consumers prepaid Rayon Panam Pekanbaru City. The theoretical concept used in this study is the service theory in the Budiman book, namely: (1) Reliability, (2) Tangibles (direct evidence), (3) Responsiveness (responsiveness), (4) Assurance (guarantee), (5) Empathy (empathy). This research uses descriptive qualitative method with descriptive data analysis. In data collection researchers used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the study through interviews and observations, it can be seen that the services of PT. PLN (Limited Liability Company) on Prepaid consumers of Rayon Panam Pekanbaru City is considered to still have many shortcomings and is still not going well. In this study, the factors that influence the service of PT. PLN (Limited Liability Company) in the consumer prepaid Rayon Panam City of Pekanbaru, among others, investment study constraints, the lack of socialization of the National Electric Company to the Community, and lack of field officers.Keywords: Services, PT. Abstract

Background of this research is derived from the writer observation of the livelihood mobility of the coastal communities of the river Rokan of Rimba Melintang district Rimba Melintang of Rokan Hilir. The formulation of problems from this research is what are the driving factors and attractors of the livelihoods of coastal communities and how is the vertical mobility that occurs in transverse village communities. The population of this research were people who used to work as traditional fishermen who did livelihood mobility after being moved to their new place and By used census techniques, samples are obtained by taking 50% of the entire population in Rimba Melintang and found as big as 45 respondents with homogeneous communities. For example, the data analysis used descriptive quantitative method. The results of this study showed that out of 45 respondents, they had moved to become laborers of oil palm farmers, construction workers, farmers, traders, entrepreneurs, artisans and odd jobs. This livelihood mobility is driven by factors of coastal environment damage due to the construction of plaster which is forced to be moved by the downstream government to a new place. This makes them have to do livelihood mobility supported by some of their pulling factors which are economic factors. Not all respondents experienced changes except 80% of respondents improved their lives, which occurred in the form of changes in the forms of livelihoods found to changed income and ownership of assets and so on. In other words, 60% of these respondents experienced vertical upward mobility while others experienced a downward vertical mobility and horizontal mobility.Keywords: The Mobility of livelihood, Coastal Cumminities,, Rimba Melintang District.

Abstract

This research was conducted on the community, especially on pineapple farmers in Rimbo Panjang Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. At present the function shift of land in the Village of Rimbo Panjang in the Tambang District of Kampar Regency has already taken place. The theory used is the Theory of Social Change. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 6 people, namely the Village Head of Rimbo Panjang, Head of the BPN Office, 2 Pineapple Farmers Owners and Cultivators, 1 Farmer Owner, and 1 Farmer Cultivator. The sampling technique in this study is to use a purposive sampling technique, which is where sampling or withdrawal is done by selecting objects (informants) based on specific criteria set by the researcher. The data source used is the source of data in the form of observation (observation) and interview (interview). Data analysis used in this study is collecting data from various sources by incorporating theories that are used in accordance with social phenomena. The results of this study are that the process of land conversion occurs due to two main factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors, this factor is more concerned with the side caused by the socio-economic conditions of agricultural land users. Whereas external factors are factors caused by the dynamics of urban growth, demography and economics. The process of land conversion occurs due to landowners being pressured by economic needs, so that landowners sell their land to developers. The existence of land conversion has led to the creation of new jobs or increasingly varied new sectors for pineapple farmers in Rimbo Panjang Village. While the negative impact for pineapple farmers is that if the sale of the land is not utilized as well as possible, it will have a negative impact on the pineapple farmers.Keywords : Land use change, Effect of land use change, pineapple farmer

Abstract

Pecinta Alam Bahari do the preservation of mangrove forests because mangrove forests are forest formations that grow and develop on gentle slopes in river estuaries and coastal areas that are affected by tides, and can withstand high waves of surface such as tsunami. In addition, PAB is carrying out a preservation of mangrove forests and mangrove forests in the city of Dumai due to the existence of a cultural value in the area. Not only that, PAB is carrying out the preservation of mangrove forests due to the near extinction of mangrove species in Riau, thus making PAB take the initiative to defend the land and also preserve mangrove forests. Therefore, this study aims to determine the environmental communication strategies of PAB and barriers received by PAB in the process of preserving mangrove forests. The method used in the research descriptive qualitative. The research selected 3 key informan that is, Mr. Darwis Moh. Saleh, Mrs. Fatmawati and Mr. Effendi, 2 supporting informants as a source of information that is Reza and Said as the local community. To collect data, the research used interview, observation and documentation study. Be descriptive presentation to answer questions that have been identified previously. Results of this study indicate that the Pecinta Alam Bahari (PAB) always implement the preservation of mangrove forests for the selves and the society. Preservation of mangrove forests can be seen from good development mangrove forests region named Bandar Bakau. Not only that, the mangrove forests area becomes ecotourism in Dumai City, with the intervention of Pecinta Alam Bahari (PAB) by bring peoples to participate in preserving mangrove forest, and that mangrove forest region becomes very good and comfortable for visitor to relax until now.Keyword : Communication Environment, Communication Strategy, Mangrove Forest

Sago cracker enterprises is one of the business community engaged in household industries, sago crackers business developed very well, as seen from the growing number of stands and development of industrial enterprises in the district sago crackers Middle Kuantan District Kuantan Singingi. Home Crackers industry Sago, the perpetrator Home Industry or Industry Household necessary social capital, in the achievement of social capital are elements of social capital; Trust (Trust), Reciprocal (Reciprocal) and Social Interaction of these elements, the core concept of Social Capital emphasis on community togetherness to achieve the goal of improving the quality of life and constantly making changes and adjustments continuously so that this will become a social capital then can be used as a reference in the Home Industry Crackers Sago. In this case the role of businesses sago crackers are very important in the economic activity of the fence or sago crackers sellers in the market, and the role of social capital elements are very important in the economic activity of businesses sago crackers. Subyek surveyed this time is sago crackers home industry entrepreneurs in the village of Kari Gobang Doors, amounting to 4 people, and writers also involves 2 buyers and 2 sellers / receiver sago crackers on the market using triangulation metide. Data retrieval research conducted by interview, observation and documentation. Abstract

Pekanbaru City Community-Based Community Empowerment Program (PMB-RW) is a poverty alleviation program carried out by the Pekanbaru City Government through a process approach to community empowerment with funding from Pekanbaru City APBD, Provincial APBD, APBN, BUMN, BUMD and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR ) private companies and other non-binding assistance. The PMB-RW activity is a substitute program for the National Community Empowerment Program for Mandiri Rural (PNPM-MP) aimed at creating and increasing community participation in development, both individually and in groups to participate in solving various problems related to efforts to improve the quality of life, independence, and public welfare. The purpose of this study was to determine the community participation in PMB-RW in Tebing Tinggi Okura Village, Pekanbaru City Rumbai Pesisir District and what factors influence community participation. This study uses a type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach.The results of the study are based on the results of interviews and field observations. It is known that community participation in the implementation of the PMB-RW program in Tebing Tinggi Okura can be in the form of money or objects, ideas and thoughts and in the form of labor (mutual cooperation). Based on the results of the study, it is known that community participation in the implementation of the PMB-RW program in Tebing Tinggi Okura Village is still low, this is due to the low level of socioeconomic status of the people living in Tebing Tinggi Okura Village, low average education community, and because of people's busy life in earning a living to meet their daily needs. The factors that become a barrier to community participation in the implementation of the PMB-RW program in Tebing Tinggi Okura Village include internal factors which include (awareness / willingness, education, income / income). Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence customer relationship management (CRM) and customer value have on customer satisfaction at the New Resty Hotel Menara Pekanbaru. The sample in this study was taken as many as 100 respondents and the technique used was excidental sampling. The data in this study used the survey method through a questionnaire filled out by customers. Data obtained from the results of the questionnaire and then processed to then be tested with statistics through the SPSS18 program.This research was conducted at the New Resty Hotel Menara Pekanbaru, located on Sisingamaraja No.89 Pekanbaru. From the method of collecting data using a questionnaire, hypothesis testing uses multiple linear analysis methods. It is known that the results of the study show that Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, Customer Value has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, and a significant effect between Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Customer Value on Customer Satisfaction at the New Resty Hotel Menara Pekanbaru. Creating a relationship so that it can provide positive value to customers and increase the ability to serve customers in order to realize professional servicesKeywords: Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Customer Value, and Customer Satisfacti.
