Abstract

This study aims to examine partially and simultaneously the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the value of the company. Where the independent variable in this study is Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) while the dependent variable is the value of the company. The sample used is secondary data derived from the financial statements of the basic industrial and chemical companies of the chemical sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2010 to 2015.This study uses secondary data from the company's financial statements. Samples and sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis using simple and multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and determination coefficient test with SPSS 20.The results of this study indicate that good corporate governance (GCG) variables partially (t test) affect the value of the company, while variable corporate social responsibility (CSR) partially (t test) does not affect the value of the company in the company Basic Industrial Sub Chemical and Sub Chemical Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The simultaneous test results (F) show the influence of good corporate governance (GCG) variables and the disclosure of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on the value of the company in the basic industrial and chemical sector of the chemical sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.Keywords: Good Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility And Corporate Value

Abstract

The problem of this study includes the illegal parking on the edge of Pekanbaru's public roads caused by a number of things including limited public roadside parking due to provisions for parking, parking officers who use illegal parking locations, lack of coordination between relevant agencies and parking rates that do not in accordance with established regulations. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the strategy of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Agency in regulating illegal parking on the edge of Pekanbaru's public roads. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods. This research focuses on the strategy in regulating illegal parking using the SWOT analysis.The results of the study indicate that the Department of Transportation in regulating illegal parking on the public road in the form of preventive actions. The focus of this research is the role of the Department of Transportation in responding to the problem of illegal parking, harmful illegal fees, and the number of vehicles parked on the road / sidewalk. The Department of Transportation has taken strict action to get a deterrent effect, in improving parking management efficiency which is one of the effectiveness in improving parking management in Pekanbaru City. The factor that became a supporter in creating the strategy of the Department of Transportation, namely that the Department of Transportation through the UPTD Parking of the City of Pekanbaru did not have a specific strategy in overcoming illegal parking. The recommended strategy used in overcoming illegal parking is to formalize illegal parking officers by providing new parking locations that are strategically located.Keywords: Strategy, Illegal Parking, Parking Control

Abstract

Novels are one of the literary works which contain life lessons, because basically literary works contain the teachings of aesthetic morals, and various things concerning the relationship of fellow human beings. One of the country’s most famous writers is Tere Liye with various best seller novels such as the Rindu novel that gets high enthusiasm from the readers. This novel entitled Rindu was awarded at the 2015 Islamic Book Award event. This is what makes the writer want to know “Religious representations in Rindu novels by Tere Liye”.Thid writing method is qualitative using narrative analysis Vladimir Propp. The subject of this research is the Rindu novel by Tere Liye. This research focuses on problems related to religious values. The way of data collection is done by dokumentation and literature study techniques. After collecting data, an analysis of the method of this research was conducted to obtain results.The results of this study indicate that the religious values obtained from the characters are several forms of religious value categories which include religious values in worshiping the God, which come from the highest truths that come from God and the vast scope of values and regulates all aspects of life human. Religious values in everyday life are based on courage, doing something by not worrying about possibilities and acting wisely to achieve something. Religious values in people’s lives are affection among others which makes the formation of an attitude of service, help, care and family.

Abstract

Improve the financial capacity of village government in the administration of government and increase village income of rural communities through various economic activities if rural communities. Estabilished instituation namely village’s business entity (BUMDes) according to village’s needs and potential. BUMDes in Rokan Hulu regency are many that are progressing, especially the Sumber Rezeki’s BUMDes Kota Raya’s village. This BUMDes gets the first rank of the best BUMDes in Rokan Hulu of 2016. The regional government have to implement a strategy to improve the quality of village planning in each village so that the objectives of the formation of a BUMDes will be maximally achieved. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the success strategy of the Rokan Hulu regional government in the developing a village’s business entity Sumber Rezeki Kota Raya’s village Kunto Darussalam district in 2016? And how the impact of success BUMDes Sumber Rezeki as a best one BUMDes in Rokan Hulu in 2016?The purpose of this research is to knowing about success strategy of the Rokan Hulu regional government in the developing a village’s business entity Sumber Rezeki Kota Raya’s village Kunto Darussalam district in 2016 And the impact of success BUMDes Sumber Rezeki as a best one BUMDes in Rokan Hulu in 2016. This research use qualitative approach and type of research is descriptive. Data collection techniq are interview and documentation. Data analysis use qualitative analysis.The result of this research is strategy of the Rokan Hulu regional government in the developing a village’s business entity very welcome by administrator of Sumber Rezeki’s BUMDes. Besides accepting administrator also make use of regional government, strategy so that Sumber Rezeki’s BUMDes was advanced and gets first rank the best one BUMDes in Rokan Hulu at 2016. Than impact that was got by Sumber Rezeki as the best BUMDes is achieving the objectives of the formation the BUMDes according to Rokan Hulu’s regent regulation No. 64 in 2016 about implementation instructions of village’s business entity.Key word : Strategy, Regional Government, BUMDes

Abstract

This research was conducted at As-Shofa Islamic High School Pekanbaru with the aim of finding the application of a full day school system at As-Shofa Pekanbaru Islamic High School and its impact on students, teachers and parents. Some questions in this study are (1) How is the implementation of a full day school system in As-Shofa Islamic High School? (2) What is the impact of implementing a full-day school for students, teachers, and parents ?, The title of this study is "Implementation of a Full Day School System (Sociological Study of Education in As-Shofa Pekanbaru Islamic High School)". This research was conducted to study the application of a full day school system at As-Shofa Islamic High School Pekanbaru. To find out how to implement a full-day school for students, teachers, and parents. Subjects in this study were students who attended As-Shofa Islamic High School in Pekanbaru as many as 4 people, teachers at As-Shofa Islamic High School Pekanbaru numbered 2 people, and also as many as 4 parents. In conducting data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. To analyze the problems in this study, qualitative analysis is used and will be described descriptively in conducting the author. After conducting the research, the results of the study discussed the implementation of a full-day school system at As-Shofa Pekanbaru Islamic High School that was agreed and efficiently in accordance with the regulations implemented by the government, namely Republic of Indonesia Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 23 of 2017 concerning school. While a full evaluation of a day's school for students The benefit is a learning process that becomes more because learning takes longer, while the disadvantages are that students become increased due to a busy schedule. For the teacher, the benefits of the teacher will be more professional because they are always required to deliver the material well, while the loss of the teacher's workload will increase. For parents, the benefit is to divert parents to children less, while the disadvantage is that time is denied by their children being shorter.Keywords: full day school, impact, application.

Abstract

On 14 September 2016 the US and Israeli governments through their representatives signed a new MOU on the provision of security assistance to Israel. This MOU is the largest security funding deal in the history of the United States. Not less than $ 38 billion will be awarded to the Israel by United States in the form of Foreign Millitary Funding (FMF) as much $33 billion and a missile defense cooperation fund as much $5 billion. The research will explain what caused the United States to approve the signing of the MOU.This research theoretically has built with Kenneth Waltz Neorealism perspective and theory, as the only flow of thought in this research. Formulation of all arguments, data, facts, and theoritical framework in this research is adopting the qualitative explanation methodology. It takes international system as the level of analyzing, the focus on this research is explaining the causes of United States signed MOU on providing security assistance against israel.Reseacrher has formulated answer-hypothesis which revealed the fact that The development of security threats on israel in the middle east area has caused United States signed MOU on providing security assistance against Israel. As strategic asset of the United States in the Middle East region, with rising security threats coming from Hezbollah, Hamas and rising political threats from Iran and Syrian, US has to protect its staregic asset by providing security assistance to improve Israel's Qualitative Military Edge (QME) to defend itself by it self.Keywords: United States, Israel, MOU, Security Assistance, FMF, QME, Strategic Asset

Abstract

The idea of the realization of good governance through bureaucratic reform needs to be implemented. Bureaucratic reform is essentially an effort to reform and fundamental changes to the system of governance, especially concerning aspects of structuring and strengthening human resources, strengthening organizations, and improving management. This research aims to find out the optimal number of human resources and fleets to bear the workload that is in the Department of Environment and Cleanliness of Pekanbaru City. To overcome the problem of workload that occurred in the Waste Management Sector of the City Environment and Hospital Office, the qualitative method was used in this study. This method will provide information about the allocation of human resources and facilities and infrastructure to complete the existing workload. From the research conducted, it can be concluded that the waste in Pekanbaru City still cannot be transported properly due to the lack of the number of transport officers and garbage transport fleets owned by the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Agency especially in the Field of Waste Management. The high number of waste generation in the city of Pekanbaru is not in accordance with the number of officers and transport fleets, so that the garbage problems in the city of Pekanbaru still cannot be handled properly.Keywords: Workload Analysis, Human Resources, garbage.

Abstract

This assessment was carried out at the Pekanbaru Annisa Hospital, located at Jalan Garuda No.66, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence the Company Image and Service Quality on Patient Satisfaction at Pekanbaru Annisa Hospital. The sample in this study was taken as many as 100 respondents and the technique used was accidental sampling. The data in this study used the survey method through questionnaires filled out by patients. Data obtained from the questionnaire and then processed to then be tested through statistics using the SPSS program. From the results of testing conducted shows that the Corporate Image and Service Quality have a positive and significant effect on Patient Satisfaction at Pekanbaru Annisa Hospital. With an R2 value of 0.787. This shows that the Corporate Image and Service Quality have an effect of 78,7% on Patient Satisfaction at Annisa Pekanbaru Hospital, while the remaining 21,3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords: Company Image, Service Quality and Patient Satisfaction

Abstract

The presence of GO-JEK online transportation service application is an evidence of the rapid development of technology that has an impact or several impacts on the community, especially to facilitate transportation, fulfill customer needs, and open employment opportunities for people who want to become a driver or partner company of GO-JEK. In Pekanbaru, GO-JEK drivers are not only men but also women who certainly have more possibility of risks that might be faced compared to male drivers. This study aims to find out how the motives, the meaning of work as a GO-JEK driver, and the experience of communication of women who work as GO-JEK drivers.This study uses qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach and consists of 10 female GO-JEK drivers who were selected using the snowball technique.Data are collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. To perform data validity, the author uses extending participation and triangulation techniques. The results showed that the motives of women to be GO-JEK drivers consisted of motives which included economic demands, friend invitations, free time, and flexible work systems. As well as in order to motive, among them being successful, being able to expand friendships, hoping for God's blessing, being able to add friends and family, giving charity and benefiting the community, fulfilling needs and alleviating the family burden. Furthermore, the meaning of work for GO-JEK women drivers is a source of income (main job), part-time jobs, life experiences, reward fields, teaching the meaning of family. And the communication experience of women as GO-JEK drivers is divided into 3 momentum, namely when initiating communication when meeting customers, while serving customers, and when after serving customers. Experience pleasant communication including getting money tips, getting family and friends, getting ratings and positive reviews from customers, getting praise and appreciation, and feeling a high sense of family. The experience of communication is less pleasant, among others, getting an order with a distance too far, being insulted or considered one eye, getting a rating and negative reviews from customers, accepting cancellation of orders by passengers, and having an accident.Keyword: Phenomenon Communication, Woman, GO-JEK Drivers

Abstract

The management of telecommunication towers in Pekanbaru City still raises a number of problems including the large number of illegal and legal towers that affect the aesthetics of Pekanbaru City, the lack of socialization to the community regarding the impact of telecommunication towers, the location of telecommunication towers that have not and regulations, radiation concerns from the number of legal and illegal towers that are quite large in public health. The purpose of this study is to find out how governance and what factors influence the governance of telecommunications tower operations by the communications, informatics, statistics and coding systems of Pekanbaru City. The research method used is a type of qualitative research with a case study method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The selection of research informants used a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there are factors that influence the governance of telecommunications towers by the communications, informatics, statistics and coding systems of the City of Pekanbaru. These factors are insufficient human resources and lack of experts in the field of towers, inadequate facilities and infrastructure and limited funds or budgets.Keywords: Governance, Telecommunication Tower, Management
