Abstract

Okura Tourism Village, which the government professes as one of the tourist attractions in the ordinary city, has been moved to develop the government's locality tourism village. The purpose of this study was to find out the synergy of actors in the development of Okura Tourism Village in Tebing Tinggi Okura Village, Rumbai Pesisir Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City and to find out the factors that inhibited it, the theory used was Najiati theory, namely two indicators in synergy namely Communication and Coordination. The method of study used is a qualitative form of research that accommodates both primary and necessary case studies and data through interview, observation, and documentation technique. The results showed that while mutual activism among actors is already underway, state cultural and tourism agencies and tourism officials have recently been the best because they have not made relatively rare visits. Limiting factors are facilities and infrastructure, human resources, and budget. The findings suggest that actors' manners in the development of the Okura Tourism Village come more frequently and interact regularly to cooperate in the development of the Okura Tourism Village, provide volunteer service and training while providing tools and training. a person in the tourist town of Okura. * Keywords : Synergy, Actors, Tourism Development and Tourism Village

Abstract

The topic of this research is about makeup men in Pekanbaru City with the formulation of the problem, namely to find out the profile of men who work as makeup artists and find out the reasons behind the reasons men choose jobs as makeup artists. The purpose of this study was to find out the profile of men who worked as makeup artists and to find out the reason they chose as makeup artists. This research is a qualitative descriptive study in collecting research data using purposive sampling technique. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data instruments are observation, interviews and documentation. After doing the research, there were 6 makeup informants. The results of research obtained by male makeup artists in Pekanbaru are from different backgrounds, male informants working as makeup artists in Pekanbaru aged 24 to 44 years. 3 informants from the origin area, namely Renggat, Tanjung Balai Karimun and padang. The level of education of 6 informants has 2 bachelor and 1 diploma, the rest are graduated from secondary education. Only 1 informant who worked as a makeup artist as a side job and the other 5 made makeup artists as his permanent job. 2 informants who are widowers or have been married. Working as a makeup artist 6 informants were found to have worked for 4 years to 15 years. The reason that men choose to work as makeup artists is because there are rational actions that make them work have a purpose, namely material and the affectual actions of men who work as makeup artists have a feeling of liking the work without coercion from anyone, the informant said that the makeup artist paid hobby.  Keywords : The Makeup Artist, Works as a Makeup Artist

Abstract

The topic of this study is the Determination of Selling’s Location of Food Peddlers in Tampan Sub-District, Pekanbaru, by the problems of (1) How is the determination of selling location of food peddlers in Tampan? (2) What is the relationship between the types of merchandise and the selling facilities with the selling location determination? The purpose of this study is to find out how the location of selling food vendors in Tampan is determined and to find out whether there is a relationship between merchandise types and selling facilities with selling locations. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The data were collected by using incidental sampling techniques and data collection using observations and questionnaires. The sample of this research was 49 food peddlers. The results showed that 40.8% of food peddlers determined the educational environment as a selling location, the 26.5% in housing and boarding houses. And 32.7% determined the location of selling in recreational parks. The determination of the selling location was determined by the movement and distribution of food peddlers in peddling their merchandises. The peddlers who do a lot of movement and distribution are ice cream peddlers which are as much as 10.2%. Most of the peddlers used motorcycles as the transportation by the percentage of 73.5% with the help of sound system as the selling media by the percentage of 67.3%.Keywords: Street vendors, Food Peddlers, Tampan

Abstract

The intercultural marriages of the Malays and Minang tribes in the city of Pekanbaru which are the most common problems in intercultural marriages are personal or individual backgrounds, different ethnic marriage partners with uncomfortable situations often arise, if someone is very dependent on stereotypes rather than dependent in perception which is directly in nature and becomes a problem in choosing prospective child pairs with different tribes. This study aims to determine the motives, meanings and communication experiences that occur in intercultural marriages of the Minang tribes in Pekanbaru City.This study uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were 3 husband and wife couples who were selected using the snowball technique. Data collection is done through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. To perform data validity, the author uses the technique of extending participation and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the motive in choosing intercultural marriages of the Malay tribes of Minang in Pekanbaru, namely the motive of the past (because of the motive) is the religion and character of the couple, while the motive comes (in order to motive) that is constant and intact, lasting and happy . The meaning given by partner actors to intercultural marriage is that there is a positive meaning that intercultural marriage teaches mutual respect and mutual understanding on a difference, while the negative meaning of intercultural marriage gives negative perceptual impacts on different tribes so that it involves children in choosing future child partners. And the communication experiences that occur in intercultural marriages of the Minang-Malay ethnic tribe in Pekanbaru City have fun communication experiences that occur in the form of mutual understanding, openness to children in choosing child candidates who are different ethnic groups, love each other, defend each other and each other appreciate. Associated with unpleasant communication experiences, namely negative prejudice towards ethnicity and behavior, and the existence of conflicts between husbands and wives in choosing candidates for different ethnic group.

Abstract

The Community Development Program is now considered as one of the innovations in improving community welfare, this is carried out by the community of sustainable development activities. In accordance with regional regulation number 6 of 2012 concerning corporate social responsibility in Riau Province, each company must carry out its social responsibilities to the community. This is a lot of companies that do not understand the importance of social responsibility as a role in improving community welfare. But PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper was able to show success in implementing a social responsibility program to get an award in the income generating program that received the community. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of the PT.Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper community empowerment program at Kerinci Pangkalan Pelalawan Regency.The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is done by interviews, observation and literature studies.The results of the study show that PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper has implemented an optimal community empowerment program. In the implementation of the program, there are still factors that influence it, namely: the lack of community participation, the level of community knowledge on community empowerment programs that are still low.Keywords: Human Development, Business Development, Community Development, Instutional Development

Abstract

Romanticism is an overflow of feelings that reflects emotions, the language of love, affection, intimacy of one's feelings to a partner. Romanticism is not only about affection and love, in other words, romanticism is not only beautiful or sweet, but hatred, anger, annoyance, jealousy, selfishness are also included in the category of romanticism. . Romanticism is also very much related to the times and lifestyle of teenagers and students today. Especially for those who live in big cities, this romantic activity is very possible. In fact, because it has often happened, people in big cities consider it normal. Dilan Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990, there are parts of the story that contain romance, but it is packaged in a language that is typical of young people in the 1990s. For this reason, researchers are interested in conducting research to see the romantic representation in novel. Thid writing method is qualitative using naratif analysis Tzvetan Todorov. The subjek of this research is the Dilan Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990 novel by Pidi Baiq. This research focuses on problems related to romantic aspects. The way of data collection is done by documentation and literature study techniques. After collecting data, an analysis of the method of this research was conducted to obtain results. The results of this study indicate that most of the beginning, middle and end of the story in this novel show that romance in this novel is mostly done by Dilan. In this Dilan 1990 novel, the representation of the aspect of romance is more dominant. The aspect of love shown by Dilan to Milea contains more love. Representation of aspects of romance that often arise include love, liking and various expressions of feelings that are often shown by the main characters, Dilan and Milea. However, different from the aspect of expression, only a few parts of the chapter are in the story in the novel Dilan 1990. Representation of aspects of expressions that often appear in the storyline, such as emotions, joys and sorrows, and uncontrollable desires. Keywords: Romanticism, Representation, Naratif Analysis

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze training and work discipline and its effect on employee performance at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru. Trainingas a variable (X1), work discipline as a variable (X2), and Employee Performance as a variable (Y). The method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative using the SPSS 21 program, where the sample used is 87 employees conducted by simple random sampling and data collection techniques through questionnaires. The results of the analysis use the validity test, reliability test, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test and F test. So that it can be concluded that traininghas a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru, work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru, and training and work discipline have a significant effect on the performance of PT. Abstract

The Public Relations performance in the Pekanbaru District Court is less effective in providing information to the community, one of which is due to limited public relations capacity and too heavy workload, Public Relations of the District Court which concurrently serves as a Judge. The purpose of this study is: to find out the form of Public Relations Performance of the Pekanbaru District Court in providing information to the public and to find out the barriers to the Performance of Public Relations of the Pekanbaru District Court in providing information to the public.     The design used in the study is a descriptive approach. In this study researchers used a qualitative descriptive type, this research will be conducted in the city of Pekanbaru, the data relating to this study will be obtained from the Pekanbaru City District Court. In collecting data, researchers used interviewing, observation, and documentation techniques by using informants as sources of information.               The results of the study show that the Public Relations of the Pekanbaru District Court is in charge of providing information related to policies, activities, reports on achievements or achievements, as well as information related to postponement hearings or changes to the trial schedule to the public. Public Relations also received complaints and complaints from the public. As a development and creator of an organization's positive image, namely by providing services openly to the community. The obstacles experienced in providing information include: Information received by the Public is not in accordance with what has been scheduled, Mass communication, namely the delivery of information is not widely conveyed to the public.

Abstract

The harmonious relationship is crucial within the family between the stepmother and the child. This is due not to the occurrence of jealousy, conflict, and misunderstandings between the stepmother and the child. In raising this harmonious relationships in need the role of the stepmother and the child, because the child's stepmother and peraanan is very helpful in enhancing the harmonious relationships. Interpersonal communication is a dialogue conducted between individuals or groups with specific goals and how to get the desired results. This research aims to find out how the interpersonal communication between the stepmother and the child in improving harmonious relationships. This research uses qualitative research methods. Informants in this study 3 stepmother and 3 children. Data collection techniques with the use of observation, interview and documentation. In pursuit of the validity of the data in this study, researchers using 2-opt and triangulation. The results showed that interpersonal communication is done the stepmother and the child is doing well. As for the element of kerberhasilan enhance harmonious relationships between the stepmother and the child include the following: first, the existence of openness that is the willingness of the stepmother and son exchanged thoughts with each other. Second, the empathy that is visible from the stepmother attempts to feel what the children feel, and understand the opinions and attitudes of children, and vice versa are also trying to feel what her stepmother feel and understand the opinions and attitudes of the stepmother.Third, supporting attitude that is by encouraging and motivating for children's stepmother in the activities of the day-a day. Fourth, a positive attitude that is shown with positive feelings and thoughts without any prejudice and suspicion between the stepmother and the child. Fifth, the equality that is by putting a position equivalent to older stepmother in conveying the message.Sixth, conflict management, namely the ability of the individual to manage the conflicts in its proper way, with a strategy of effective conflict with attitudes in sportsmanship, in managing the conflict and in the dukunganya attitude of openness in between them then the relationship that is created between the stepmother and the child the more harmony and conflict between them was resolved with the absence of the misunderstanding between them.

Abstract

This research was carried out in the City of Pasir Pengaraian,Rambah Sub District,Rokan Hulu Regency.The purpose of this study was to find out the profile of street sweeper women and the reasons for working as a sreetsweeper. The focus of this research is to analyze the factors that encourage women street sweepers to work in City of Pasir Pengaraian. The theory used in this study uses 1 theories, namely Role Theory. The data collection techniques of this study  were interviews,questionnaires and documentation.The sample  used in this study amounted to 52 respondents, all of which were street sweepers, the method used in this study was quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that 1). That women sreet sweepers in Pasir Pengaraian City almost spent their time outside 2).The reason women sreet sweepers work is because of the demands of life that cause economic pressure,besides that work also becomes a place to overcome boredom for research subjects. In this study the income of a female street sweeper was Rp.1,475,000, where their income is allocated to cover the costs of their children’s school besides working as a street sweeper,they can fulfill the needs of family members and themselves Keywords: Sreet Sweeper,Duel Role,Woman
