Abstract

This study aims to determine the service of women victims of domestic violence by Pekanbaru P2TP2A and to know the inhibiting factors for the service of women victims of domestic violence by P2TP2A Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted at the Integrated Service Center for Empowering Women and Children (P2TP2A) in Pekanbaru City. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data, data obtained by observation, interviews and documentation studies with deliberately selected informants. The researcher determines the sample taken because there are certain considerations (purposive sampling). Informants in the study were Head of Division of Service and Health Division of Pekanbaru City P2TP2A, Counselor / Coordinator of Recovery and Health Services Division, Complaint Receiving Staff / Pekanbaru P2TP2A Secretariat, Clients / victims of domestic violence who reported to P2TP2A Pekanbaru City. The data analysis method used is data reduction, data model and withdrawal / verification conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the social service process in Pekanbaru City P2TP2A is the client reporting (coming directly, by telephone, or referral) then filling out the complaint form, the complaints receiving staff assessing and interviewing the client, then the client is referred to the service according to the client's needs and accompanied, staff receiving complaints and administrators monitor client cases and record and report. And the Pekanbaru P2TP2A inhibiting factor in overcoming the problem of domestic violence includes victims of domestic violence itself, victims' families, communication, perpetrators of domestic violence, facilities and infrastructure as well as network collaboration. The service process by P2TP2A Pekanbaru City for women victims of domestic violence based on observations of researchers in the field is not optimal because it is not in accordance with the SOP and the Act that applies in P2TP2A Pekanbaru City.  Keywords : Service, Organization, Program, Domestic Violence.

Abstract

This study describes the efforts of the Riau Regional Police in preventing cases of transnational drug trafficking in the Riau Province, especially in the district of Bengkalis. The geographical condition of Riau Province, which consists of several islands close to the international waterway boundary of the Malacca Strait, has the potentially becoming the target of narcotics smuggling with a relatively short travel time supported by the presence of unofficial ports which are separate from the government supervision, making the island the destination of drug smuggling. This study uses a pluralism perspective, level analysis of nation states, theories of international cooperation, and non-traditional security concepts. Research data is obtained from several sources such as books, journals, official documents, and website as a support. The method used is a qualitative research method. This analysis is based on data obtained from interviews and field surveys that have been written in field notes or official documents. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by the Riau Regional Police are by collaborating with the Marin Territory Police of the Malaysian Royalty Police (PDRM) Johor Bahru through the implementation of rendezvous which discusses cross-border crime cases that occur along the Malacca Strait international watershed. From the rendezvous implementation, it was agreed that both parties agreed to exchange information, tighten water patrols, and routinely conduct rendezvous every year to overcome transnational crimes that occurred between the two countries. Keyword: Effort, Drug Smuggling, Riau Regional Police, Malaysian Police, Bengkalis District.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine pollution control, factors that inhibit pollution control in Sungai Tohor Village, Kepulauan Meranti Regency. The theoretical concept used is the control theory from Amirullah Harris Budiyono with performance measurement indicators, comparing achievements with standards, taking corrective actions. This study uses a qualitative method that is descriptive in nature, informational selection using snowball sampling. Techniques for collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the control carried out by the Department of Environment of the Meranti Islands Regency has not been effective, this shows that there has not been a change in river water quality towards a better one, and there is still a lot of pollution due to the disposal of sago waste along the Tohor River. Some influencing factors include, human resources, funds or costs, community participation. Keywords: Pollution, Control, Environment

Abstract

This study analyzes the Totomeh Traditional Medicine in Kepenuhan Tengah Village Kepenuh Subdistrict Rokan Hulu Regency. Totomeh traditional medicine grows and develops in people's lives to meet the treatment needs of diseases believed by the community because of the firmness by the dimension of the Smooth Spirit (Personalistic). A very interesting behavior religious phenomenon that amidst the rapid development of science and technology in the field of modern health, it turns out that in Rokan Hulu Regency as an area known as Negeri Seribu Suluk. The methods of traditional medicine for Totomeh Shaman still exist and can side by side with modern medicine. The theory used refers to the thought of The Law of Three Stages from the founding father of Sociology namely Aguste Comte. Data analysis was carried out with descriptive qualitative data collection techniques in this study were accidental sampling. The research subjects determined is the shamans, the community, religious and health leaders. The results research showed that the traditional method of  treatment medicine using natural ingredients and using Islamic prayers was combined with spells containing the ancient rhyme that is usocialized trough generation. The community used traditional medicine totally because the community was still thick with mystical things and traditional medicines totomeh were up to currently still exsistend use by the people of the Kepenuhan Tengah Village Kepenuhan district Rokan Hulu Regency. Keywords : Traditional Medicine, Totomeh Shaman, Metaphysics

Abstract

This study aims to analyze organizational communication and work motivation and its influence on organizational commitment to employees of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru. The method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative using the SPSS 23. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Area Pekanbaru totaling 156 employees. The sample used was 61 employees conducted proportionally stratified random sampling as well as methods of collecting data through questionnaires and free interviews. The results of the analysis used the validity test, reliability test, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test and F test. So that it can be concluded that organizational communication has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Pekanbaru Regional Office II, and organizational communication and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment at PT. Abstract

Down syndrome is one of the diseases caused by genetic disorders that have an impact on physical and mental retardation so that it takes a special action so that they can be independent. Independence is one of the attitudes that must be possessed by Down syndrome children and can be obtained through special institutions or foundations, one of which is the Fajar Amanah Extraordinary School (SLB) in Tualang District. In the process, the therapist uses several special methods to restore the child's physical and behavioral conditions. In the therapeutic process, it is known that the therapist uses therapeutic communication. The purpose of this paper is to look at the phases of therapeutic communication applied at the Fajar Amanah SLB in Tualang District, Siak Regency. This study uses qualitative writing methods. The research was conducted at the Fajar Amanah Extraordinary School (SLB) on Jl. Wakaf KM 6.5 Tualang. The selection of informants is done by purposive technique. The informants from this study were a doctor, two therapists, and three parents. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. While the validity of the data used in this study is an extension of participation and triangulation. The results showed that the therapist in the process of carrying out therapeutic communication to children with Down syndrome in the Fajar Amanah SLB in Tualang District, Siak Regency was carried out through several stages. In the pre-interaction phase, it is known that therapists design ways to build interpersonal communication with parents and use several methods such as identification, assessment / assessment, and briefings in gathering all information related to the child's physical condition. In the orientation phase, the therapist provides a safe and comfortable situation for the child by applying three basic features of therapeutic communication. In the working phase, the therapist begins to carry out the therapeutic process using special methods and is accompanied by several therapeutic communication techniques to increase the independence of children with Down syndrome. In the termination phase, the therapist only gives advice or advice to parents about how to care for children at home.Keywords: Therapeutic Communication, Down Syndrome, Independence

Abstract

This research entitled "Supervision of the Education Office on Performance of Early Childhood Education Observers in Rokan Hulu in 2017" This research was motivated by the existence of Ministerial Regulation Number 20 of 2003 concerning the supervisory functional position system which explained that the supervisor is an education staff whose main task is to carry out quality control and evaluation activities the impact of the PAUD program. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the supervision of the education office on the performance of PAUD inspectors in the rokan hulu in 2017". The method used in this study is a qualitative method that describes data descriptively. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. While the data sources used are primary data obtained from the location of the study in the form of research informants and subsequently supported by secondary data in the form of data documents. The results of this study indicate that the results of the inspector's performance at the Rokan Hulu district education office must be increased again because there are still many things that make it difficult for PAUD institutions to develop their institutions and the constraints posed by the Rokan Hulu education department are that there are still many PAUDs that are not optimally developed. In carrying out their duties and evaluating the performance of inspectors from upstream education services, training is carried out to develop performance. Abstract

Interpersonal communication between employees will determine the quality of work of employees and is the key to the success of employee performance. Employees of the Public Relations Division of PT Pekebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru have very close relations and family relationships. Communication that takes place harmoniously and openly, but with this, misunderstandings on public relations employees still occur so that it has an impact on the quality of work of the Public Relations Division of PT Perkbunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru. The theory used in this study is the theory of social penetration and the concept of Devito. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between employees in improving the quality of work, openness among employees in improving the quality of work, empathy among employees in improving work quality, supportive attitude among employees in improving work quality, positive attitude among employees in improving work quality, and equality among employees in improving the quality of work of the Public Relations Division of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru. This study uses a type of qualitative descriptive research. Determination of informants using purposive techniques. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman analysis models for the validity of data checking techniques using data source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of this study indicate that, interpersonal communication between employees of the Public Relations Division of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru runs well in improving the quality of work of the Public Relations Division of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru. Relations between employees are harmonious and kinship, openness between employees in two forms, namely job openness and family openness, empathy among employees is to feel what employees feel, pay attention to fellow employees, high level of care, respect for employee work, supportive attitude between employees and forms of motivation, unselfish employees, collaboration between employees, positive attitudes among employees respecting employees, positive thinking among employees, believing in the importance of fellow employees and equality between employees equal position, familiar atmosphere of communication, and knowing the quality of work of employee. Keywords :  Employees, Interpersonal Communication, Quality of Work

Abstract

This study aims to determine teh response of family heads to early marriage in the village of Bantayan, Batu Hampar District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study was to see how the family heads responded to early marriage couples in Bantayan Village. This study uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This data collection technique uses observation and questionnaires, taking samples in this study using simple random sampling. Thye results and discussion of this study is the massive public response to early marriage, the village of Bantayan, Batu Hampar Sudistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency, which means the community’s response to early marriage the Bantayan District of Batu Hampar, Rokan Hilir Regency is good.  Keywords: response, head of family, early marriage

Abstract

The implementation of the method carried out by public relations greatly affects the satisfaction or comfort of customers towards the Pekanbaru BTN image. Based on the problems in the research, the problem can be formulated in this study, namely how is the marketing public relations strategy in building a brand image on Bank BTN KC Pekanbaru (case study: KPR BTN Platinum)?. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. This research was conducted at the Bank BTN TC Pekanbaru located on Jl. Jendral Sudirman No. 393. The schedule of this study is conducted from November 2017 to July 2018. The research subjects are based on a focus on searching data and evidence in fact, can be in the form of interview data, reactions, and responses or information. This research information is from BTN KC Bank Pekanbaru is: Manager 1 Person, Assistant Manager 1 Person, Head of HRD KC BTN Bank Pekanbaru 1 Person and Customer 8 People. The number of speakers was 11 people. The subject taking technique in this study is the Purposive technique. After the data is collected, the researcher analyzes the data using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research can be suggested that the Public Relations Marketing Strategy through Information in building imagedi brand KC Bank BTN Pekanbaru is done by providing information through the media in the form of facebook, instragram, distributing the form of brochures or pamphlets installation. The Public Relations Marketing Strategy through public services in building a brand image on Pekanbaru Bank BTN KC is done by providing good service and being friendly. Public Relations Marketing Strategy through publications in building the imaginary brand Pekanbaru KC Bank BTN is carried out by intensifying promotions in print and social media, promoting special promos related to products and services offered by the Bank to attract customers, improve service and services by doing sales call to customers so that there is a harmonious relationship and reciprocal communication between customer desires and bank services.
