Abstract

This research was conducted in Lubuk Gaung Village, Siak Kecil District, BengkalisRegency. This study purpose to find out the reason what rattan craftsman are still stay withtheir work as a rattan craftsman, and to know the effort to overcome poverty both from rattancraftsman and from the government. This research was given the title of "Poverty of RattanCraftsman in Lubuk Gaung Village Siak Kecil District Bengkalis Regency". The ideaproblem in research is what rattan craftsman still survive with his work as a rattan craftsmanand how to overcome poverty both from rattan craftsman and from the government. Thepopulation in this research is rattan craftsman in Lubuk Gaung Village, Siak KecilSubdistrict, Bengkalis Regency, the sampling technique in this research is using the censusmethod that is the sample determination technique in the research if all members of thepopulation are used as the sample. In this study the population of respondents is many as 55people, so that all the population used as sample. The data analysis used by the researcher isdescriptive quantitative data analysis. The required data is collected through Observation,Questionnaire (Questionnaire), Documentation. The result of the research shows that thereason what rattan craftsman still survive with their jobs because of economic factors thedemands of life needs expenditure that constant must to complete, Then the factor of jobopportunity, because unable to compete in the world of work, furthermore the factor of workexperience it is difficult for rattan craftsman to try new jobs and the last reason because ofcultural factors that tend to follow the work of parents. The effort made by rattan craftsman inLubuk Gaung Village to overcome poverty is by working together with wives, by doing sidejob such as gardening, being a laborer, selling corn cakes, raising cattle, planting palmseedlings, and following association activities. Efforts by local governments to overcomepoverty include the assistance of houses, cattle, solar power, 3 kg LPG gas, poor rice (raskin),school operational support (bos), public health insurance (Jamkesmas) and the governmentalso provides capital loans through UED-SP Harapan Bersama program.Keywords: Poverty, Rattan Craftsman, Overcoming Poverty

Abstract

 This reseach explain about role of internastional organization  FAO on getting into a scrabe food crisis disaster. This reseach using a descriptive to explain about  food in Syria. According Maflecroft report Syria as become the first country getting into trouble food insecurity. It is certainly impact to food sovereignity soit will effecting on food crisis. Syria food crisis is twothings. First, situation of  Syrian conflict seemed to be an endless war. Second, global climate change on 2006 have been effecting to flood and dryness. It caused Syria have ekstrim climate change, mountain range and bad irrigation. This study use the qualitative research methode with library reseach. The sources of data are from the journals, books and the internet sites. This study uses the role international organization theory and non-state level of analysis. The reseach shows that Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has an important role in handling  of food crisis in Syria with an implementation program. Keywords, Food and Agriculture Organization, Food Crisis, conflict, global change.

Abstract

The replanting process is done to replace the unproductive plants with new plants gradually and thoroughly. This process uses a one-stop management pattern. This pattern is more secure to run a better replanting program.This study aims to inform the farmers that the replanting program is important for the future prosperity of farmers. PT Buana WiraLestari Mas itself has been 25 years partners with farmers in improving their palm products. And the benefits of replanting this results can be enjoyed by farmers in the long run. Because the program is run well by the PT and the Village Government so it will not disappoint the farmers.From the results of research shows that PT Buana WiraLestari and KUD really do their job well. During the replanting process they are responsible for the fate of the farmers who lost their income while PT Buana WiraLestari Mas tries the Cost of Living Gang for farmers in the form of replacement money during replanting of 500,000 per hectare per month.Keywords: Implementation, Partnership, replanting of oil palm.

Abstract

The shift of Batak Toba Ulos Value in the Village of Sri Meranti Rumbai District is one of the research that has a purpose for the researchers themselves and other students. The key in this study are those who understand the customs of Batak, namely Batak Raja Adat consisting of any clans. The second objective is to know the values contained in ulos as well as the shifts occurring in the overseas lands. Analyze data in this research using Descriptive Qualitative Research Method. Qualitative Descriptive This is an analysis that seeks to provide a detailed description based on the facts obtained from the facts in the field and also supported by primary and secondary data to support the existing data. This qualitative research is presented with descriptions as well as aids with the calculation of the numbers, percentages and inserted in the table. The data will be analyzed descriptively. Therefore, the authors will develop concepts, collect data and facts that occur in the field. Based on the results of research in the field, the decline in ulos value has experienced the highest point, as it happens at this time is the number of Batak people in the Land of Perantauan do not know the meaning and value contained in Batak Ulos own. The research was conducted in Kelurahan Sri Meranti Rumbai District Pekanbaru City Riau Province. The results of this research show that there is a shift in the value of Ulos which is very signifikant in some elements, function, form, role in the implementation of traditional Batak event. Also giving sanctions for those who violate customary rules will be given sanctions that also experienced a shift from initial sanctions, this also affects the friction-friction with other cultures.Keywords: Value Ulos, Batak Toba, Tanah Parjalangan

Abstract

Munjung tradition in the wedding party of Java is a serving food tradition in a wedding party. Nowadays, munjung which is used differently with in the past. It was done simple and aimed to the family member only. However it is aimed to the society right now. This tradition is also influenced by the society economic level. The research carried out at Air Panas village, Pendalian IV Koto subdistricts, Rokan Hulu regency and aimed to know how the implementation of munjung tradition between in the past and right now, when the tradition has changed and how the society perspective trought the used of munjung tradition. The research method used in this research is qualitative method. Qualitative method is used to know the fact or reality, condition and focused on the social fenomena. The relation between this research and the method is in this research, it would be know about munjung tradition based on the norm. Therefor researcher will collect the data and facts about it in Air Panas vilage, Pendalian IV Koto subdistricts, Rokan Hulu Regency. The data collection technique used are interview and observation. The data analysis technique are collecting the data, analized the data, the result finding, condusions and recommendation . Based on the result finding, the used of munjung tradition has changed from the first aim and the used and motivation of the implementation. Giving help is purposed to take a feedback in the future in munjung tradition, the sincerity in giving help is already vanish which is it was the first aim of this tradition. The changing of the used of this tradition was caused the new tradition or culture from the other influenced this tradition and the level of society economic. Therefor, there is a consumtive society culture. The other findings is about the implementation of munjung tradition. This tradition is not only used for wedding party, but also for other party such as khitanan, syukuran, akekah and some of wirid in once a week.Key words: Social changing, giving and feedback, Munjung tradition in wedding party of Java.

Abstract

Economic census is collecting data for all business units / companies completelywithin regional of a country. All of the collected information are useful to analyze theperforma and economic structure of a country. Statistic Center Institution (BPS) Pekanbarucity are the one who communicate about this to the civil. Communication plan which beendone by BPS are by socialized economic census 2016 and then menentukan which public,create the message, and choosing media partner on socialized economic census 2016 activity.This study aims to analyzed how the communication plan of statistic center institutionPekanbaru city on socializing economic census 2016 program.This study used qualitative methods with description approach. The research wasdone in BPS Pekanbaru city office at Rawa Indah street. The informants in this study wascollected by using purposive sampling technique. The data collected are primary data alsosecondary data. The data collected by doing observation, interviewed, and documentation.This research was analyzed with Miles and Huberman data analyzes also confirmed by doingperpanjangan keikutsertaan dan triangulasi.The results of this study indicate that the planning of communication used by BPSPekanbaru in socializing the 2016 economic census programs is using communicationplanning model groove mark ? in determining the terms of audience, BPS Pekanbarusocialize economic census in 2016 to categorize all society who have the characteristics ofsmall businesses and large businesses, in terms of the draft message BPS Pekanbaru extendan invitation to participate in the implementation of the economic census in 2016, then interms of media selection BPS Pekanbaru select group communication and mediatedcommunication, printed and mass media, and in terms of the evaluation of the economiccensus program 2016, BPS Pekanbaru evaluate the programs in order to determine thesuccess of the 2016 economic census programs which been implemented for the fourth time.The purpose of the communication planning is to formulate measures to realize the objectivesof the economic census program in 2016.Keyword: communication planning, economic sensus 2016, BPS Kota Pekanbaru

Abstract

This research aimed to cexplain the role of an international organization CIFOR at a Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation in Indonesia. The organization is an organization that focused on forestry research. Since the issue of climate change become the attention of the world and also the attention of student. Indonesia became one of the foremost in support of the issue. In COP 13 which is a string of framework under the UNFCCC appears a scheme for Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation. The scheme also is the reference Indonesia and other countries for support to solve the problem of climate change, such a scheme known as REDD. The theory used in this paper is the role theory. In this research, The method used of qualitative methods, qualitative research is a descriptive understanding. This research found that the role of international organizations in supporting and contributing to problem a country can be as Motivator, communicator, and Fasilitator.Keywords: Peran, Perubahan Iklim, CIFOR, COP 13,REDD, UNFCCC, Deforestasi, Degradasi.

Abstract

One product that is in a travel agency is a tour package. In a tour that is carried out, consumers certainly expect the tour package that has been promised according to the what is in the field. This study aims to determine consumers response to tour package at CV. Bilava Tour Riau Pekanbaru. To find out the consumers response to tour package can be measured through 5 components, which are :Tourist Attractions, Events, Transportation, Accommodation, and Meals&Drinks. The research will be measured and known by quantitative methods. This study took 100 people as the samples or respondents by using the Slovin adequacy formula. The technique of data collection in this study uses observasion, questionnaires and documentation. This study uses  the theory of Etta Mamang Sanadji & Sopiah,2010, named the Likert Scale to measure the interval in the quantitative data. Based on the results, the study indicates that consumer responses to the implementation of tour package at CV. Bilava Tour Riau Pekanbaru is in the Very Good category, and it scores 6.413. keywords : Consumer Response, Tour Package, Travel Agent

Abstract

As a residential area, it turns out that Tampan District has a significant potential for waste production. The amount of potential waste generated in Tampan District requires special treatment so that the negative effects of accumulating unloaded waste can be avoided. But found in the field in several places in the District of Tampan, namely on Jl. Stork Sakti, Jl. Garuda Sakti, Jl. S.M Amin, Jl. Pekanbaru-Bangkinang, Jl. Cipta Karya Gg Keluarga, Arengka Morning Market, Tuesday Panam Market, there are still piles of garbage that have not been transported for days. The formulation of the problem in this study is, what is the role of the Pekanbaru City Environment and Cleanliness Office in waste management in Tampan District in 2016? What are the inhibiting factors of the Pekanbaru City Environment and Cleanliness Office in waste management in Tampan District in 2016? The purpose of the study was to determine the role of the Pekanbaru City Environment and Sanitation Department in waste management in Tampan District in 2016, to determine the inhibiting factors of the Pekanbaru City Environment and Cleanliness Office in waste management in the Tampan District 2016. The primary data source was through interviews and secondary data source. The data analysis technique was carried out with a qualitative descriptive analysis. The cause of the accumulation of garbage in the city of Pekanbaru, especially in the area of the District of Tampan is the inability of PT. MIG as a partner of the Pekanbaru City Environment and Sanitation Office transports waste, causing a pile of garbage in several places. And the rubbish that is discarded by the community that is not on schedule creates a buildup that must be carried by officers in the next schedule. Waste sorting has not yet been fully carried out by the people of the Tampan District of Pekanbaru City, and the demand for garbage storage facilities in Pekanbaru City is not fulfilled, including in the Tampan District area. Tampan District as an area with a large amount of housing apparently has no TPS as a temporary garbage collection place for the community. Obstacles to contracts with partners, lack of socialization, vehicles and equipment, limited budgeting, and community response. Keywords: Role, Waste Management

Abstract

The traditional game lompat tali merdeka is a name of traditional game for those who livein Riau Province. The naming of this game has something to do with the movement of playersespecially in the last leap; the rope is stretched by a high-fisted player held up in the air. The fistis almost similar to what the fighters do when they say the word "merdeka". The essence of thegame is jumping ropes that are knotted with graded altitudes. This game is a cooperative gamethat stimulates children to be ready to act (game stage). The method used in this research isdescriptive research method. Descriptive research is research that aims to reveal facts,circumstances, and phenomena. Connected of this research is the disclosure of the game stageprocess and the moral value in the traditional free jump rope game in SD Negeri 94 Pekanbaru.Therefore, the writer will develop concepts, collect data and facts that occur in the place ofresearch. Data collection technique is using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques fromMiles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.Based on the results of the research, in the game there is a stage action process that is the attitudeof players in playing the role in accordance with the status of players. From the game stageprocess, it contains moral values that are not directly visible, but shielded in a symbol when thechild is playing. The moral values are the value of togetherness, simplicity, honesty, leadership,responsibility, stance and obedience rules that are beneficial to develop the soul and shape thechild's character.Keywords: traditional game lompat tali merdeka, game stage, moral values
