Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Work Environment and Organizational Commitment on Employee Satisfaction (Case Study at Hotel Ratu Mayang Garden Pekanbaru). Work Environment as a variable (X1) Organizational Commitment as a variable (X2) and Job Satisfaction as (Y).The method in this research is descriptive and quantitative by using SPSS 20 program. The sample used is 92 employees consisting of 10 departments. To determine the sample using census research method. Technique of collecting data through questionnaire.The results of analysis using multiple linear regression, t test, and test f. It can be seen that the Work Environment has significant effect on Employee Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment has a significant effect on Employee Job Satisfaction, and Work Environment and Organizational Commitment have a significant effect on Employee Satisfaction.Keywords: Work Environment, Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the impact of cooperation by the Indonesian wooden furniture industry exports to the Algeria in 2014-2016. Algeria has routinely imported wooden furniture from Malaysia to supply their needs in domestic furniture. In fact, Algerian entrepeneurs know furniture from Malaysia mostly come from Indonesia. One of the factors because there is no agreement from Indonesia and Algeria to cooperate in the industrial sector especially the furniture industry sector.The theories used in this research is interdependence theory and comparative advantage thery. The author used liberalism approach. Data of this research was obtained from books, journals, articles, official document and websites that support the hyphotesis.The result of this study indicate that after the agreement, the dollar exchange rate at that time also affected the amount of wooden furniture exports. If the dollar is more expensive, then the interest of furniture buyers come down because of the buyers want the same price as before the dollar increase. Apart from the amount of wooden furniture exports, the number of workers and the number of furniture industrial also affected.Keywords: Wooden Furniture, Exports, Dollar Exchange

Abstract

The purpose of this research is how the quality of service at waterpark boombara tourism objek pasir putiht distric Kampar background of the research his to findout the service provide by tourism attraction to consumers. Thi is important as a references to revam the service quality in order to passably.This research was used descriptive quantitatifmethod to describe the issues. The sample used in this research was 7 people. Quesionnaires, interviews, and observations were used to collect the research data.The results of this research indicate that based on the research results obtained on the employee job the quality of service at waterpark boombara tourism objek pasir putiht distric Kampar quite passably..This is evidenced by the acquisition of the overall total score, which is 264 points. the quality of service at waterpark boombara tourism objek pasir putiht distric Kampar town in each variable, responsivenes, and assurance was rated passable. While emphaty, realibility , and tangible variable were rated good.Keywords: Quality, Service waterpark boombara

Abstract

The research was conducted at the Resty Hotel Menara Pekanbaru while the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supervision and motivation on employee job satisfaction at the Resty Menara Pekanbaru hotel. Supervision and Giving Motivation as an independent variable (X1X2) while Job satisfaction is the dependent variable (Y). In this study the method used was quantitative descriptive with the SPSS program. The population in this study were all employees of Resty Menara Pekanbaru Hotel, amounting to 58 people. Samples taken based on census method, where the population is sampled is 58 respondents. Data collection method using questionnaire method, testing the hypothesis using multiple linear regression analysis with the results of the study that is Y = 13.997 + 0.503X1 + 0.359X2.Research that has been carried out shows the results that response response to the influence of supervision, giving motivation, and employee job satisfaction at Hotel Resty Menara Pekanbaru in the Agree category. Whereas for the t test that has been done shows that the variables of supervision and giving motivation partially have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. And F test results show that simultaneously shows that the variables of supervision and giving motivation have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. And the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained adjusted R square value of 0.713, this indicates that the influence of supervision variables and giving motivation to employee job satisfaction is 71.3%. While the remaining 28.7% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.Keywords: Supervision, Motivation, and Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Province is known for its environmental problems. Environmental journalism is needed to inform solution. Practic of environmental journalism is doing by Green Radio 96,7 fm Pekanbaru. The preaching of green environmental solution is a priority of Green Radio 96,7 FM Pekanbaru. The existance of this radio culminates in receiving an award from KPID award, which is that Majalah Udara program won the best news of radio Riau in 2016. These achievements certainly cannot be separated from how the process they taking in producing environmental news. One of the interisting reports as a result of the function of deforestation is the news of Jernang. The plants can only grow if the forest is still natural. The research is aiming to see the process of environmental journalism and constraints on the news.This study used qualitative methods of quantitave methods with observation data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data obtained then being processed to be inducted, presented to a public conclution. The informer in this study is five people. The validity of research using an extension of participation and tringulation.The result of this research are, the first news reports live the location and grow and plant breeding plants and news sources are the people of the forests. The process of editing is done by a program in which the publisher used dubbing process, adapting the paragraph so that it does not over 10 minutes, reprocessing the reporter’s data insert, and insert the scene of coverage location. An evaluation of the rapids will be made to write a persona of the many angles. Planning of the news program doesn’t have a clear rundown and deadline. The second is breaking news coverage is the lack of resources and the location of coverage that inhibits the follow up process.

Abstract

Pedestrian is an area reserved for pedestrians i.e. sidewalks, pedestrian plot and no plot.The scope of this study is limited to the government's supervision of the use of pedestrian in the form of sidewalks.The sidewalks in this study refer to the ones in the center of Pekanbaru city that and sepecifically in the Ramayana shopping center area.The aim of this study is to find out the supervision that has been done by the Ministry of Transportations Communication and Informatics along with the Municipal Police of Pekanbaru toward the use of pedestrian in Pekanbaru. The data used in this study consist of primary data and secondary data with 17 informants. The informants were selected by using purposive sampling technique. The data was analyzed using descriptive qualitative method.Based on the research done by the writer, it can be concluded that the pekanbaru government’s supervisionin this case is the responsibility of the Ministry of Transportations Communication and Informatics along with the Municipal Police of Pekanbaru of the use of pedestrian, it is done through three stages of supervision, i.e. (1) Determining the pedestrian supervisory standards which are divided into three standards: determining actor supervisors, determining how to control and specifyingthe penalties of the violations. (2) Takiing assessment action. At this stage, assessment is divided into two: checking the completeness of the pedestrian facilities and disciplining the street vendors and illegal parking. (3) Doing corrections. The correction to the infraction is divided it into three: the socialization of pedestrian, increaseing the number of supervisor and finallygiving punishment to the offender. However, the number of supervisors actually is still lacking and government have yet to do the socialization about pedestrian. Also the punishments that have been given to the offender are still not explicit which results in the misuse of pedestrianhappening continuoslyand harming the pedestrians.Keywords : Supervision, Functions, Pedestrian, Walking

Abstract

Youtube is a social media platform that provides many kind of video, including video blog content (vlog). Vlog usually done by taking in front of camera, talking about something that we like, sharing some tips, or anythingthat goes our mind. One of the youtube who makes vlogs is Aceep Gates. Acep Gates’ vlog talk about HIV and his experience as PLWHA (People Live With HIV/AIDS), which means Acep Gates hopes his Channel can change the opinion among society and reduce the number of discrimination toward PLWHA. This research used S-R theory with the purpose to analyze wheter there is the effect of content on Acep Gates’ Youtube Channel on subscriber’s opinion toward PLWHA or not.      The method used in this study is quantitative explanative with random sampling technique and the number of samples is 400 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. To find out the influence between two variables, the author uses simple linear regression analysis. Then the data testing is done with the SPSS program for Windows version 21.  Based on the results of simple linear regression, the regression coefficient value obtained in this study is Y = 6.712 = 0.517 X with a significance level of 0.000. The significance level is smaller than α = 0.05, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, with the statement there is the effect of Acep Gates’ Youtube Channel content on subscriber’s opinion about PLWHA. The coefficient of determination (R2)  in this study amounted to 40,6% which means these figures show that the effect of Acep Gates’ Youtube Channel content on subscriber’s opinion about PLWHA included in the medium category. Abstract

Instagram is a social media that can upload photos and videos through the internet and information can be accessed quickly by other people en masse. Lots of content presented by Instagram users such as sharing important information about an area, this is used by some young people of Payakumbuh using the Instagram account @sudutpayakumbuh as a medium for sharing information about Payakumbuh City. This Instagram @sudutpayakumbuh account has 76.90 thousand followers. This study aims to see how much influence the @sudutpayakumbuh Instagram account has on the satisfaction of followers in getting information in Payakumbuh.This research uses a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. Data collection techniques using questionnaires distributed through links to 100 respondents and techniques to determine samples using simple ramdom sampling. And the data can be processed using SPSS 2.0.In this study, tcount 11,247 is greater than ttable, which is equal to 1,664, with a significance level of 0,000 smaller than α = 0.05, so it can be stated that the variable X has an effect on the Y variable, so it can be stated that there is an influence on the use of instagram account @sudutpayakumbuh towards the authority of followers in obtaining information in the City of Payakumbuh. The coefficient of determination (R2) obtained was 0.751 and the coefficient of determination (Rsquare) was 0.563 as a result of squaring the correlation coefficient of 0.751 x 0.751. This figure shows that the influence of the motive of using Instagram account @sudutpayakumbuh to the authority of followers in obtaining information by 56% with a medium category.

Abstract

Siak River is a historical site in Pekanbaru and the Kingdom of Siak Indrapura, and the deepest in Indonesia. While on the banks of the Siak River, there are still a lot of heritage in the form of houses on stilts, historical homestay, pasar bawah market, rubber factory, old terminal, historical grave, mosque and many more. But unfortunately, the lack of utilization of the potential of Siak River banks by the Department of Culture and Tourism Pekanbaru City made it not optimally utilized. Can be seen from inadequate supporting facilities, lack of role and public awareness, lack of promotion, limited human resources, constrained land acquisition and lack of budget. Department of Culture and Tourism Pekanbaru City seeks to develop the Siak River banks into a tourist destination object. This study aims to determine the efforts of the Department of Culture and Tourism in developing the Siak River banks and the factors inhibiting the development of the siak river banks.The theory used is the theory by Suwantoro which are tourism object and attraction, tourist infrastructure, tourism facilities, management or infrastructure, and society or the environment. In this study the authors used descriptive qualitative research methods with the location of research at the Department of Culture and Tourism Pekanbaru City and the key informant is the head section of facilities and infrastructure Department of Culture and Tourism. The Data collection techniques were interviews, observation and documentation.From the results of this study it can be known that the development of Siak River banks has not been maximized. It can be seen from the lack of facilities and infrastructure, limited supporting facilities such as entertainment facilities and tourist attractions. The factors that hamper the efforts of the Department of Culture and Tourism in the Development of Siak River banks is the lack of funds from the City Government, especially for tourism development, constrained land acquisition, most of the land ownership status owned by residents around the edge has not reached the certification stage Recorded at City BPN (HM, HGB, HGL, etc).Keywords: Regional development, Tourism development, Inhibiting factors

Abstract

This study was conducted in the Mosque complete Al-Mujahidin District Payung Sekaki City’s Pekanbaru with the aim to know the form of public participation (jama’ah) and the role of the Mosque complete Al-Mujahidin in the development of or society. What ate the form of public participation (jama’ah) then how the role Mosque complete Al-Mujahidin in realizing function Masque as the development of or society. This study using research kualitatif thedescriptive. The subject in this study amounts to 8 people with 3 people as e key informants and 5 as informants. In the data collection researchers use a technique observations, the interview, and the documentation. Analysis result of thedescriptive analysis suggests that in public participation om each activities or the show is not much different with Mosque in general in the city of Pekanbaru by gives the program invited jama’ah or society. This is where we can see the shape of the participation of society among them is to present in the tablig akbar, the day of Islam, filling Ramadhan, the study routine dawn every Saturday and Sunday as well as giving aid to the public good form to moral and material. The results of observasi researchers shows the role of given Mosque as the development of or society is to give the container education religion for the community, as Mosque pilot for other Mosque, and container coaching youth and teenagers as well as a forum to improve the walfare of society.
