Abstract

The women representative in Indonesia politics became an inevitable thing for political parties, when the General Election Commissions (KPU) issued PKPU regulation No.13/2013. Women's representative in Tanah Datar Regency which initially faced some obstacles, they were Minangkabau culture or women themselves and external constraints. The core problem on political representation in Tanah Datar Regency was women's political enthusiasm still low to participate in politics than men. It was influenced by Minangkabau culture. It was evidenced by the fact that there were still a few women who hold public positions and were able to play an active role in political life. Through interviews the informants who were leaders and women legislative members in the 2014 Regional People's Court Council (DPRD) elections, has provided an overview of the struggle of women become members of the Regional People's Court Council (DPRD) in Tanah Datar Regency.This study purposed to describe the representation of women in the Tanah Datar regency parliament in 2014-2019. This study used a qualitative approach Setting of the reseach in Tanah Datar regency West Sumatra province. The sources of data were interviews, documents, and printed media. The techniques of data collection used interview and documentation. The data was analysised by qualitative analysis with the type of  descriptive.The conclusion from this research showed that the representative of women in Tanah Datar regency especially in Minangkabau women were still low and has difficult access to politics than men. The inhibiting factors that influence the representation of women in the Tanah Datar regency legislative council were women's competence in politics, recruitment systems, cultural and religious factors, agency factor, internal and external factors. The women who had a family background of officials and were active in community organization were a very favorable political modality for women to be elected in the Tanah Datar Regional people's court council (DPRD).   Keywords: women's politics, elections and legislatures.

Abstract

The Information is something that is important for humans because it can help meet their needs. communicator as a source of information must be able to account for the validity of the message conveyed by mastering and understanding the message. Sources with high credibility also have a higher influence in influencing the audience. So the research in this thesis is to answer how much influence Ustadz Abdul Somad has had on the decision of pilgrims to take part in his missionary activities in Pekanbaru.          The study uses quantitative explanatory methods using unknown population techniques with a sample of 166 respondents. Researchers collected data with questionnaires. To find out how much influence between the independent and dependent variables. Researchers use simple linear regression analysis. Data processing of the questionnaire test was carried out using Windows Version 23 SPSS program.   Based on the equation Y = -0.783 + 1,027X + e constant (a) of -0.783. This means that if the credibility of Ustadz Abdul Somad is assumed to be zero (0), then the decision of pilgrims to take part in preaching activities in Pekanbaru is worth -0,783. The regression coefficient value of 1.027 states that if the credibility of Ustadz Abdul Somad has increased by 1 unit, then the decision of pilgrims to take part in preaching activities in Pekanbaru will increase by 1,027 points. This means that the influence of Ustadz Abdul Somad's credibility of 96.5% on the decision of pilgrims to take part in preaching activities in Pekanbaru has a very strong influence.Keywords: Source credibility Theory, Ustadz Abdul Somad, decision-making

Abstract

This research is about a contemporery issue in international relations study which gives description and analyse about cooperation between pekanbaru cities and GIZ (german international cooperation) on The Urban Nexus Project concerning on urban issues of pekanbaru in 2014 until 2016. GIZ support this program through a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) in cooperation to manage waste water and solid waste implementation pilot project Pekanbaru.This research was develeoped based on he framework of Neo-realism perspectives that is supported by the theory of international cooperation by Kalevi Jaakko Holsti, as well as the level of analysis using the nation-state group. The methods that used in this research is qualitatibe research with data collection obtained from interview, books, journals, articles, internet and other media.The government of Pekanbaru city has commited to implement the cooperation with German international cooperation (GIZ) on The Urban Nexus Project. Abstract

In the current era of Globalization business behavior especially in the field of marketing has increased over time. Currently, many companies are competing to win the competition and mastered by means of utilizing and, applying the right marketing can not be denied mastery of the market is one way the company to sustain its life. One of which is how to create conditions by keeping customers from turning against other companies or products.The purpose of the research is to determine the marketing communication strategy used by a company to maintain customer loyalty And to know Factors inhibiting Marketing Communications strategy.This research method is qualitative research method by presenting descriptive data analysis and using strategic communication theory. The research technique is based on purposive technique consisting of head of shop, 4 marketing and 10 consumen of Batam Electronics. Techniques Data collection includes observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive data models Miles and Huberman. While the examination techniques of validity data include extension of participation, triangulation and reference adequacy.The result of the research shows the first communication strategy of Batam Electronic Marketing in maintaining Customer Loyalty through advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, direct selling. Abstract

The development of social media today accommodate a variety of works. Ideas in the form of photos, videos and writings and even potrait and comics including the types of works that can be found on various social media. Social media both content and characteristics of social media is quite diverse, most social media is a place to socialize, share opinions and chatting through chat but social media a little different is LINE Webtoon. LINE Webtoon is a digital comic reading app that is part of LINE's social media products. Comics on social media LINE Webtoon can be accessed for free and have many different genres and titles. The webtoon user segmentation is quite extensive, ranging from 14 years old to adults including among students. Researchers want to know the influence of social media LINE Webtoon to interest in reading comic students of Riau University. LINE Webtoon social researcher used by students of Riau University and students to respond in the form of interest in reading comics. The purpose of this study to determine the influence of social media LINE Webtoon to interest in reading comic students of Riau University.The method used is the method of quantitative explanation research, data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires. The number of samples in this study were 96 respondents. Sampling using Accidental Sampling. To find out how big the influence of these two variables, the researcher uses a simple linear analysis. For data processing questionnaire, done by using Program Statistic Product And Service Solution (SPSS) Windows version 17.The results of research on the influence of social media LINE Webtoon with indicators (Participation, Openness, Conversation, Community and Interconnected) to the interest in reading comics (the need for reading, reading-seeking, fun to read, interest in reading, continued) on the students of Riau University obtained regression coefficient value Y = 5.904 + 0.610 X with a significance level of 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05. This means that there is an influence of social media LINE Webtoon to interest in reading comics on students of the University of Riau for 49.7% and fall into the middle category of influence is. The percentage indicates that Social Media LINE Webtoon affects reading interest. thus H0 is rejected and Ha accepted.Keyword : Social Media, LINE Webtoon, Interest in reading comics

Abstract

In research using this descriptive qualitative research method, there is a purpose to know the description of facilities in Tourism Object Ngalau Indah Payakumbuh West Sumatra Province. In addition, this research is also trying to know the management of facilities in Tourism Object Ngalau Indah Payakumbuh. Based on the results of research that has been done there are results indicating that the facilities in Tourism Object Ngalau Indah still has the shortcomings and not the maximum management of facilities in the beautiful tourist attraction. Viewed from the main facility only toilet facilities and facilities where the photo facilities available in Ngalau Indah Tourism Object is quite good only hygiene and treatment is less than the maximum seen from the Main Facility only toilet and photo place is still clean and well maintained because the building is still new and good. Apart from these 2 facilities the average cleanliness and perwatannya less than the maximum. Judging from the supporting facilities available in this beautiful tourist attraction such as mushalla less good because it is not maintained and not bersi. Likewise the existing cafeteria masi less good. The map designation of the location of the tourist attraction is good, just not the plan for the gateway in the cave. And also for facilities that aims to provide information should be held to facilitate tourist tourism activities. If the facilities are available in this beautiful tourist attraction like this ATM is already operating properly and safely. For puskesmas disekitaan beautiful tourist attraction ngalau is good for ordinary patients and patients who need first aid. If for the workshop can be summed up by a beautiful tourist attraction ngalau this is only a small workshop that can to add wind and nempel banen only. And for the accommodation available in the city payakumbuh already many just the average available sneakers are mostly three stars. And lastly for the network komuniksi available in this beautiful tourist attraction ngalau is good and good, visitors can access Android Smartphone is freely and satisfied, because the network for Android is already available with high quality that is 4G Keywords: Facilities, Condition, Management.

Abstract

This research was carried out and political science University of Riau the campus. The purpose of this research is to know the student’s participation in general election of University seen from DPM political awareness of college student’s, and University benefits DPM function in the presence of intra-campus organization’s. The method used in this research is using descriptive quantitative approach uses, with total of 98 respondent’s students in political science, which determined through proportional sampling technique. Data analysis was done using cross tabulation analysis through SPSS program. The result showed that the level of political awareness of college student’s in the pemira DPM University level on the campus of the Universitas Riau, seen at the time of registrstion, the election compaign, and the general election was still low a total of 95,9% of respondents. The results of this research also look that university have the DPM function in institutional, one of the function of DPM is to accommodate and accept the aspirations of students, and this function has been carried out by members of the DPM. As an organization of intra-campus university DPM has benefits for the betterment of the university, so that the benefits of this organization has been felt by students although not all students who feel its benefits. Because, the term of office in this organization for just one year, while for the realization of the aspirations of all student need a fairly long time. So, with this short term not yet seen all of the results submitted by the students aspirations.Keywords: Political Participation, Students, General Election DPM University

Abstract

This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the profile of women who work as drivers ojek online at Gojek Kota Pekanbaru. This research is a descriptive research using qualitative approach as a tool of analysis. The population in this study were all female students who have married as many as 5 people. Observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. Technique of data analysis writer use in this research is descriptive qualitative. The result of the research is their motive for choosing to work as an online motorbike driver because they go on a motorcycle offers an effective and efficient work system where they not only provide technology applications but also recruit to connect drivers with passengers and the conditions for entering gojek are not that difficult. In addition, working hours are not bound, relaxed, but surely there is an income from the female support project working as a motorcycle. Besides, it also helps the economy or adds to their family’s income. Because most of them really like work and don’t like to stay at home. And based on the results of the income that has been obtained that women who work as online motorcycle driver are very potential in supporting the household economy. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of the World Food Programme (WFP) in addressing the food insecurity in Sierrra Leone. Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa which has the potential of natural resources. In 2009 the World Food Programme (WFP) establish a program to address the food crisis in Sierra Leone nature. Programs created aims to rehabilitate livelihoods and improve the nutrition of children and pregnant women in Sierra Leone.This study is a qualitative research with the study of literature. describe and explain the program of the World Food Programme (WFP), which is engaged in food aid. In this study, the authors use the analysis of the level of international organizations used theory is the theory of the role, perspective used in this study is the perspective of pluralism.This study addressed the World Food Programme (WFP) was able to reduce wishful crisis that occurred in sierra leone. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of K3 program and organizational commitment to employee productivity (case study employee of the Paper Machine-2 PT. Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk., Perawang). Application of K3 program is one of the important parts that need to be considered in the implementation of production. Occupational accidents and occupational diseases is still going on in the company due to lack of staff awareness of the importance of occupational safety and health for employees themselves. Organizational commitment is essential for the creation of the employees of the highest integrity and quality and loyal to the company. K3 program implementation and organizational commitment can impact the level of labor productivity. With the implementation of K3 program and organizational commitment is expected to improve productivity of employees in production operations. Research was conducted on employees of the Paper Machine-2 PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk., Perawang. This study takes the number of respondents 79 people.Data obtained through questionnaires and direct observation in the field. Data from the questionnaires subsequently processed using statistical analysis simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis, and testing significance test with t test (partial), F test (simultaneous). The results showed that the test results of t test first hypothesis that occupational safety and health (K3) on employee productivity is (6,261) > (1,991) means that the variable K3 significant effect on employee productivity. both organizational commitment to employee productivity, namely (9,376) > (1,991). This means that organizational commitment significantly influence employee productivity. F test results Health and Safety (K3) and organizational commitment to employee productivity is F hitung (50,951) > F tabel (3,12). Meaning K3 simulaneously and organizational commitment significantly influence employee productivity.Keywords: Occupational Health and Safety (K3), Organizational Commitment, Labor Productivity, Analysis
