Abstract

PT. Pertamina Refinery Unit II Dumai is a state-owned company that moves in the fields of energy, petrochemicals and other businesses that can support the business of Pertamina both domestically and abroad. As one of the largest refineries in Sumatra and has a large oil production, it is directly proportional to the waste produced. This waste causes RU II to be very vulnerable to negative issues regarding the environment. To anticipate this issue being spread widely through reporting, it is very important for PT Pertamina RU II to establish relations with the mass media, considering that the media has a major influence in creating public opinion. In establishing relationships with the media, appropriate tactics and strategies are needed so that the cooperation between the company and the media can continue to run well. This study aims to determine the media relations strategy used by PT Pertamina RU II Dumai in increasing publicity in the mass media.This study used qualitative research methods. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique with the number of informants in this study amounted to six people. Next the data collection technique consists of interviews, observation, and documentation. While, data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis. The technique of checking the validity of the data uses an extension of participation and triangulation.The results of this study indicate the Comm & CSR of PT Pertamina RU II Dumai in increasing publications in the mass media using a media relations strategy which was presented by Yosal Iriantara, among others, First managing relations. The relationship that occurs between RU II and the media is the relationship between humans who are familiar like a friend and as if they are separated from the task relations and work relations. RU II opens the widest door for every journalist who wants to join in any media relations activities conducted by RU II, besides that RU II also runs various media relations activities, namely media gathering, media visits, coffee mornings, lunch meetings, sports day media and Pertamina's journalistic award event. The two develop strategies by providing training to journalists, using various media, establishing cooperation contracts and providing press releases. The third developed a network by establishing intense relations with the Indonesian Journalists Association organization.

Abstract

In urban social groups that arise on the basis of professional and employment backgrounds are becoming increasingly diverse. Profession is a job done by someone to earn income, one of which is the profession of taxi drivers. In the city of Pekanbaru there are four taxi companies namely Blue Bird, Riau Taxi, Puskopau, and Kopsi. With many of the number of taxi companies that exist, then every company and taxi drivers must compete in each other to get the welfare of the profession is done, so that researchers want to see in terms of competition is the form of cooperation or conflict that occurred in the middle of competition. The location of the study is the place where the research will be carried out. The location of this research is in Pekanbaru City. The population in this study are all taxi drivers in Pekanbaru City, amounting to 750 people who are divided in four taxi companies. Thanks to the same character, the location is also the same then the author takes 10% of each company using proportional random sampling technique. That is the sampling technique based on the consideration of the number of each subject group. In this competition, every company and taxi driver create strategies to achieve their goals, Through a comparison of four taxi companies known there are differences in strategy that is run, In relation to the strategy, each strategy undertaken determines the dominance between one company with another company. In addition, basically the strategy that runs arise because of the increasingly complex competition, the forms of competition that is clearly visible in this study is the economic competition and competition of existence. And in the competition is also the cooperation that is spontaneous cooperation and contract cooperation that occurred between taxi drivers in Pekanbaru City.Keyword : Competition, Taxi Driver.

Abstract

The placement of billboards has a major influence on urban life because the billboard media is often the place where information can be delivered effectively. The reality of billboards in JPO is very disturbing for users of pedestrian bridges because of the large billboards that are not in accordance with the less well maintained JPO Pekanbaru.This study aims to determine the Implementation of Mayor Regulation Pekanbaru Number 24 of 2013 on the Implementation of Reklame In Pekanbaru City (Case Studies Bulletin Board At the Crossing Crossroads of Pekanbaru City). Theoretical concept of the researcher is the implementation of the policy by using the Mazmanian and Sabatier theory by looking at the data obtained will be discussed thoroughly based on the fact that the institution or research office is implemented. Then compared with the concept and theory that support. The research method used is qualitative research with descriptive data assessment. In the data collection, researchers used interview techniques, observations, and documentation set based on Snowball sampling.Based on the results of research show that not yet opimal this is seen there are deficiencies, there are many billboards that pairs in JPO that JPO own conditions are not good and many are not feasible and JPO development is not in accordance with the criteria. The factors that influence this research are poor communication, lack of public participation and attitude of executor.Keywords: Implementation, Policy, People Crossing Bridge

Abstract

Bengkalis Regency has a potential tourist attraction.One of the attractions that have great potential is Marine Tourism in North Rupat District. So many tourists visit bengkalis district to enjoy the tourist attraction in bengkalis one of them is North Rupat District which has a long beach about 17 km, and has a beautiful view overlooking the straits of Malacca. This study aims to describe the condition of tourism accessibility in North Rupat Sub-district of Bengkalis Regency and to know the responses of tourists to accessibility in North Rupat Sub-district of Bengkalis Regency. This research uses quantitative method for analysis which try to give clear and detailed description based on facts found in the field through questionnaires and questionnaires distribution then drawn a conclusion. The questionnaires were distributed as many as 50 people. While data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews. The results of this study indicate that the response of tourists about the accessibility of North Rupat Sub-district of Bengkalis Riau Regency is in the Less Good category with the total number of 2727 total is in the range 1891 - 2731. Abstract

This Research is about cooperation between two countries in energy security sector, that provides an analyze of the role Indonesia-Japan Coal Policy Dialogue (IJCPD), in maintaining the future of Indonesia’s coal energy resources, there are 3 aspects , technology, human resources and domestic obligation/coal trading. Energy security become an issue that affect not only in big country, but also in developing country especially Indonesia. High intensity energy resources, certainly very important for industrialization and development country. Indonesia have so many coal energy potentials, and until now Indonesia’s still depend on petroleum energy that keep decrease every years. Indonesia has looking for diversification energy that compromise for energy security in the future, it can replace petroleum as main energy sector in Indonesia, and coal is an answer for Indonesia to maintain energy security in the future.In this research use the conceptual basis, with the concept of the role Indonesia-Japan Coal Policy Dialogue (IJCPD) as a forum cooperation between two countries that focusing on development energy security especially in coal energy resources. Abstract

Research on the implementation of the role of the family in the case study of wife as the main breadwinner in the family, in this study has the purpose to find out how the implementation role in the family as well as to know the role of retrieval decisions in the family. The location of this research lies in the Desa Sawah Kampar Utara Sub-district of Kampar Regency. This research used the qualitative method with descriptive analysis, namely data collection is obtained based on the data in field reality through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Informants of this research consists of four pairs of husband and wife, but the subject just in focus to his wife. The theory framework used in this research is the theory of family, role theory and decision making. The implementation of role in this research deals with the role of the public and domestic who are in families where the wife acts as the main breadwinner in the family. The role of the wife as the main breadwinner in the family make husbands more often were at home so that the occurrence of role Exchange between husband and wife. the wife has a more dominant contribution in meeting the needs of the economy of the family eventually affects decision-making in the family so the more dominating wife caused her role as breadwinner in family.Keywords: Public Role, The Role Of Domestic, Husband And WifeKata kunci: Peran Publik, Peran Domestik, Suami-Istri

Abstract

This research was carried out in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the time division of street sweeper women as single parents in the family, in activities in the family and work in the city of Pekanbaru. The topic of focus of this research is role conflict that occurs in the family and women's work of street sweepers in Pekanbaru City. Sampling techniques are accidental sampling and determine the number of samples as many as 7 people. The author uses qualitative methods and data instruments are observation, interviews and documentation. Research conducted concluded that the dual role of street sweeper women as single parents in the family in the city of Pekanbaru, besides working as street sweepers, most of them were mothers, who had the responsibility to educate children, take care of family matters, and also act as family breadwinner. In addition to working as a street sweeper, it turns out that some of them work side-by-side, such as becoming a household assistant in a neighbor's home in the neighborhood. It is known that the motivating factors of women who work as street sweepers are not only motivated by the economic factors of the poor families but are influenced by a strong desire to keep working, and for a variety of reasons, such as being influenced by social interaction that grows in the street sweeper environment. Abstract

problem of street vendors (PKL) Air urban land is still the dilemma is still not complete. No exception to the cities in Riau in Pekanbaru, especially street vendors who often gets the spotlight. Curbing the sake of policing is often done by the municipal police as the party who share responsibility in realizing the public order in the area, but the street vendors still survive today.This study aims to determine the effectiveness of performance in the Civil Service Police Unit Control of Street Vendors in the Market District Military Command Pekanbaru. In addition this study aims to identify and analyze factors that hinder the effectiveness of performance in the Civil Service Police Unit Control of Street Vendors in the Market District Military Command Pekanbaru. Sources of data used in this research is using qualitative and descriptive research conducted in the Office of Civil Service Police Unit of Pekanbaru.Results of this research is that productivity performance in curbing municipal police organization Street Vendors in the Market District Military Command Pekanbaru City ineffective. Quality of service in controlling street vendors in the Market District Military Command Pekanbaru City insufficient, Responsiveness municipal police in controlling street vendors in the Market District Military Command Pekanbaru City not in accordance with the needs of the Merchant Responsibility municipal police Pekanbaru City law enforcement or sanction is very low, and Accountability Satpol PP Pekanbaru in curbing activities of street vendors in the Market District Military Command Pekanbaru City is very low. Barriers experienced by municipal police in controlling street vendors in the Market District Military Command Pekanbaru City ie street vendors in the Market District Military Command still had the awareness is very low, the shortage of personnel municipal police who are members of an audit, and no other place that can be used to relocate Street vendors.Keywords: Effectiveness Performance, Civil Service Police Unit, Street Vendors

Abstract

Execution of duties of village heads in rural community development in Rokan IV Koto subdistrict spectator Rokan Hulu regency. the purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of the tasks of village heads in rural community development in Rokan IV Koto subdistrict scenery of Rokan Hulu regency, to determine the factors that hinder the implementation of the duties of village heads in rural community developmentin Rokan IV Koto subdistrict spectator Rokan Hulu regency.This study uses the resources of the constitution number 6 Year 2014 at the law there are three variables that include community empowerment, rural development, improving people’s welfare. the next factors that affect the implementation of the duties of village heads in rural community development in Roka IV Koto subdistrict spectator Rokan Hulu regency not maximal socialization of empowerment, not all activities involving the empowerment of rural institutions, lack of knowledge of village institutions, this research uses descriptive quantitative approach.The results of this study, according to sources of the constitution number 6 Year 2014 is the empowerment of rural communities, rural development, and improve community. this can be seen from three variables: the empowerment of rural communities less than optimal because the village head only make temporary activities, rural development produces less good, and improve the welfare of the community because the community still many who do not have their own garden. conclusions village chief task execution results in empowering communities in rural districts spectator Rokan IV Koto Rokan Hulu regency categorize less optimal and as for the factors that affect the implementation of the duties of villageheads in community empowerment includes not maximal socialization of empowerment, not all empowerment activities involving institutions village, and the lack of knowledge of village institutios.Keywors: Duties of villge heads and community empowerment
