Abstract

Terrorism was a serious crime that need to be discussed in Riau Province. In this case, all institution must contributed to control and prevent the causes of terrorism growing widely. Because the terrorism couldnot be managed personally, coordination between institution were important to prevent the sprouting of this serious crime. The purpose of this research was to know how well coordination between FKPT, MUI and Polda Riau in preventing the terrorism and some causes that made them incoordinate. The teory which applied this research was coordinate by Koonz, O’Donnel and Fayol. It described about teamwork; communication; distributin task; and meeting. Because this research was descriptive kualitative research, approach was useb by interviewing, observing, and documenting. The result of the research showed: first, coordination those institution in teamwork, communication and distributing task generally existed. Yet, continuously agenda of those institution to do the meeting was not often. Second, the finansial problem effected the coordination of preventing the terrorism. Keywords : Coordination, Prevention, Terrorism

Abstract

The village is a tool to achieve national development goals; the village is the leading government agency that can be reached the real target group which wantedto be empowered. In order to support the implementation of Law No. 32 of 2004 on Village Government and Law Number 25 Year 2004 concerning national development planning system, the development of which were conducted by using the paradigm of empowerment was necessary to realize community participation either in the planning, implementation or control of village construction. The objective of theresearch was to determine the community's participation in the implementation of development programs and to identify inhibiting factors of communitys’ participation in the implementation of development programs in the Village of Sei Golang Kelayang District of Indragiri Hulu Regency.The concept of the theory used the Chohen and Uphoff theory in (Dwiningrum, 2011: 61). Indicators in this study such as: Mobilizing Resources and fund, Administration and Coordination and Translation Program. While the factors that influenced the unsuccessful of participation was based on what the researcher found in the field.The results of the research could be concluded that public participation in the implementation of development programs in the Village of Sei Golang Kelayang District of Indragiri Hulu regency in less active category. In other words, there were still many problems in implementing rural development sei golang. The faktor inhibitor of community participation in the development program was the difficulty to mobilize human resources, communication and participation. These factors had an influence on public participation in the implementation of development program in Village of Sei Golang.Keywords: Participation, Development of Participatory, Mobilizing Resources and Funding, Administration and Coordination, Elaboration Program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Firm Size, Debt Policy, and Dividend Policy on Corporate Value in Manufacturing Companies Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The ratio used to measure firm size as independent variable is Natural Logarithm of Total Asset and Natural Logarithm and Total Sales. The ratio used to measure debt policy is Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Debt to Total Asset Ratio (DAR), while the ratio used to measure dividend policy is Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Meanwhile, the ratio used to measure Company Value is Price Book Value (PBV) and Price Earning Ratio (PER). The method used to observe the effect of corporate measurement, debt policy, and dividend policy on firm value is by using multiple linear regression.Data used in this research are secondary data, financial report and annual report annual report. The data listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 3 years from 2012 to 2014. Sampling is done by purposive sampling, which is used is 16 companies. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t test, f test and coefficient of determination test. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 21.The result of the analysis shows that firm size variable does not affect the value of manufacture company of research sample that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The debt policy variable does not affect the value of the manufacturing company of the research sample listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and the dividend policy variable does not affect the value of the manufacturing company of the research sample listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The result of simultaneous research shows that there is no influence from firm size variable, debt policy, and dividend policy on the value of manufacturing company of research sample listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).Keywords: firm size, debt policy, dividend policy, corporate value

Abstract

The aim of this study to determine the influences of Capital Structure, Ownership struvture and Profitability toward Companies Value of Chemistry which is listed on Indonesia Stock Excange. Ratio of capital structure is used as the independent variable is the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). Ownership structure is used as the independent variabel is the institutional (INST). Profitability ratio which is used as independent variabel are return on investment (ROI). While the value companies as dependent variabel measured by ratio price book value (PBV). In this study, the data where financial report and annual report. The sampling taken by purposive sampling, the sample are 5 from 10 companies of chemistry which is listed on Indonesia Stock Excange. Analysis techniques in this study are simple linear, double linear, determinate coefficient, test t (partial), and test F (simultan). Data analysis was used analysis linear agression with the help of software SPSS 21. The results showed that the capital structure partially (t test) no significantly affect the value of the company. Ownership structure has no significant effect the value of the company. Profitability has significant effect the value of the company. The result of simultaneous research (F test) showed no significant influence between capital structure, ownership structure and profitability  together to the value of the company in chemistry  sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Keyword: Capital Structure, Ownership Structure, Profitability, The Companies Value

Abstract

Effective interpersonal communication is exchanging information, ideas, beliefs, feelings and attitudes between two people whose results are in line with expectations. Achievement motivation is an encouragement and strength in a person to do certain goals that he wants to achieve. In one application, interpersonal communication is used in the field of dance. The main reason for conducting interpersonal communication research on achievement motivation among members of the Pekanbaru Glossy Dancer Dance Studio is because the nature and character between people is different so the way to motivate it is also different. This study uses the Self Disclousure Theory, which is a process of revealing information about yourself to others. Correct interpersonal communication is thought to increase achievement motivation among dance studio members because it is done individually so that members are more open in expressing opinions to other fellow dancers. So the purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the influence of interpersonal communication on achievement motivation among members of the Pekanbaru Glossy Dancer Dance Studio. This research is quantitative research using simple linear regression analysis. The independent variable in this study is interpersonal communication, while the dependent variable is achievement motivation. The population in this research is 35 members of the Glossy Dancer Pekanbaru. Sampling is using a non probability sample with a saturated sample method. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire. The feasibility test of each instrument uses validity and reliability tests. Meanwhile, for processing data using the SPSS Windows version 20.0 program. Based on the results of data processing, the regression coefficient value is Y = 0.761 + 0.734X, with a significance level of 0.000 which is less than 0.05, meaning that interpersonal communication has a major influence on achievement motivation among members of the Pekanbaru Glossy Dancer dance studio. The magnitude of the influence of interpersonal communication on achievement motivation is 56.6% and the remaining 43.4% is influenced by other variables not included in the study.

Abstract

This study was did in Faculity of Engineering University of Riau. This aims to knowing social perception (family, friends) of gender role as female students in mechanical engineering major and to knowing female students rationality of faculity of engineering doing their every single role as students in mechanical engineering major. This study entitled Rasionality of Female Students in Choosing Mechanical Engineering Major in University of Riau. This study was started from September 2016 until April 2017. The date collection technique is using sampling technique amount to 7 persons. The result of this study indicate that rasionality of female students in choosing mechanical engineering major because of the many job opportunities for mechanical engineering graduates. Rasionality of female students in doing their every single role is adaptation to around the majority of male, such as respect each other, unselfish, and help each other. Family and friends perception of female students who choose mechanical engineering major are reasonable as long as female students able to do their every single role and able to protect themselves from majority of male.Keywords : Rationality, Female Students, Mechanical Engineerin

Abstract

Civil service and civil registration is one of the government agencies engaged in the field of community service and implementation. Public services are the renponsibility of the government by central and local. The current conditions obtained in the impelementation of public services is still faced with the system of government that has not been effective and afficien and the quality of human resources apparatus is not adequate.The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of public service in the civil service and civil registry of Meranti island districts and to analyze the factors that hinder the performance of public service in the civil service and civil registry of Meranti island districts. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Sources of data were drawn from severah people related to the research, among others, the secretary of processing section of population and community data. Data colletion techniques using observation and documentation interview techniques while the data analysis techniques used in this study is descriptive qualitative analysis.Based on the results of the study note that the performance in the civil service and civil registration districts meranti archipelago is still not optimal and influenced by several factors that have not had the soup and goal setting.Keywords : performance, public service, Human Resources Management

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of quality of work life and work motivation to job satisfaction nurse RSUD Petala Bumi Riau Province. The method of this research is descriptive and quantitative using SPSS 21 program, where the sample used is non-civil servants with respondents 48 people. For sampling technique used census method. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, observations and interviews. The result of analysis using validity test, reliability test, test of determination, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test and F test so that it can be seen that the variable of quality of work life have a significant effect on nurse job satisfaction, that work motivation significantly influence job satisfaction nurse, and have a significant effect between quality of work life and work motivation to nurse job satisfaction. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the increase in the number ofChinese tourists in the South Korean economy through a series of international economicpoliticalrelations conducted by both parties in various sectors, especially tourism.This research uses liberalism perspectives. This perspective is an economic systemin which the market is an autonomous scope of society that runs in accordance with itseconomic laws. Economic exchange is a positive sum-game (everyone gets more profit thanthey expect). The market will tend to maximize its profits for all individuals and companiesparticipating in the market. Liberal economy is a space of cooperation for mutual interests,both between countries and between individuals.Tourism is an activity that has grown by about 25 percent in the last 10 years. Itcurrently accounts for about 10 percent of the world's economic activity and is one of themain generators of labor. The rise of Chinese tourists has affected South Korea's economicdevelopment. Abstract

This study answers about the types of transportation services Gojek online in the city of Pekanbaru has developed, ranging from the services of Go-ride, Go-send, Go-mart, Go-shop and Go-message, while other Go-jek services such as Go-bak, Go-med and Go-busway have not developed in accordance with the needs of consumers or customers of Pekanbaru City residents. Forms of competition that occur between Gojek riders in Pekanbaru City in addition to the availability of vehicles that are healthy, economical, safe and comfortable for consumers, have good relationships or also determine the success of gaining profit coffers, either through online applications or no. In fact, the effort of an ojek driver to foster good relations with customers or consumers to carry out various Gojek services, also greatly determines the increase in Gojek's income in the future, especially if Gojek drivers are able to provide various facilities in all service matters service to customers or consumers. Meanwhile, the contradictory relationship that occurs between online application-based Gojek riders in Pekanbaru City only takes place in terms of attempts to vilify other parties or other Gojek riders by providing unfavorable information to customers, such as accusations of being less safe and comfortable and not Guaranteed passenger safety and behavior of Gojek drivers who are naughty to hang out at intersections or crossroads to search for customers or consumers manually (offline) without using applications that have been set by the company.
