Abstract

The purposed of this research to know what are the factors of consumer decision in buying tickets in the PT. Riau Karsa Pelita Pekanbaru and also to know what is the main factor in buying the tickets by consumer PT. Riau Karsa Pelita Pekanbaru.This research used descriptive qualitative method for analyzed the problem. The sample in this research are 100 samples by using accidental sampling. And then the technique for collected the data in this research are using observation, questionnaire and interview. And it is using skala likert to know the the length of intervals.Based on the research, there are four factors consumer in buying it is the factor of the price, product (service), promotion and location. The consumer was agree with the factor the price, location and promotion as a decided factor buying and then the consumer also was really agree the product factor as the main factor in buying tikets in the PT. Riau Karsa Pelita.Key words: consumer decision, price, product, promotion, location

Abstract

The ceremony tepuk tepung tawar is a cultural activity and practice Malay culture. This ceremony is also a tradition / habit inherited family passed down from generation to generation is performed at the wedding. Ceremony is also believed to have meaning as a gift and blessing prayer for the welfare of both the bride and her entire family, as it also significantly as a symbol of rejection against any reinforcements and the possible receipt of future disturbances. This study aims to determine the meaning of the symbols and symbolics and values contained and benefit what is obtained from the ceremony in traditional wedding Malay Riau.This study applies qualitative methods of data collection were obtained based on the fact that in location occurs through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected by purposive sampling technique, where informen in this study of 10 people, consisting of (traditional leaders, actors ceremony Tepuk Tepung Tawar). The study uses the theory of Symbolic Interaction. Data analysis techniques to reduce the data, collecting data, presenting the data, draw conclusions and evaluation using data validity checking technique that is an extension of participation and triangulationThe research shows that this ceremony is not only regarded as having meaning giving ceremony of prayer and blessing for the well-being of both the bride and her entire family and as a mere gathering of media alone. In addition, this ceremony has a broad meaning ranging from tools and materials, Tepuk Tepung Tawar actors, procedures do. As for the value contained in this ceremony is a social values, family values, religious and cultural values. Coupled also with benefit obtained from perpetrators and implementers ceremony between Tepuk tepung Tawar is delivered prayers, hopes, goals and expectations, friendship, prayed for the good and preservation of culture.Key word: ceremony, tepuk tepung tawar, mean, value, benefit.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know what are the factors that influenced of the employee performance in PT. Garuda Indonesia Pekanbaru and what is the most dominant factor that influenced to the employee performance in PT. Garuda Indonesia Pekanbaru.This research used a qualitative descriptive method to analyzed the problem. Sample in this research are 50 respondents, and the data collected by observations, interviews and questionnaire. By using likert scale as the counting appliance to decided the length of intervalsBased on the result of research, factors which influenced of the employee performance in PT. Garuda Indonesia Pekanbaru has two factors, they are individual factor and organizations endorsement. The most dominant factor is the wages and salary factor from the individual factor and the harmonious working relationship who from organizations endorsement factor. And based of respondents, the individual factor such as education and experience does not influence too much to their performance when they are working.Keywords : human resource, performance, factors that influenced of the employee performance.

Abstract

The newspaper is one of the print media which has a long history compared to other media. It can be seen from the large number of newspaper publishing is still up and running. These circumstances affect the level of competition is certainly getting tougher in the printed newspaper itself, not to mention to Haluan Riau daily newspaper. In an effort to continue to survive in the competition, Haluan Riau demanded to produce an interesting and high quality news in order to satisfy the reader’s requirements. Editor, department who responsible for the news quality inseparable from the principles and elements of management, which became known as editor management. This research applies the method of qualitative descriptive approach undertaken in the daily newspaper Haluan Riau, Riau Press Building, 7th Tuanku Tambusai Street, Pekanbaru. Objects in this study is management of Haluan Riau’s editor, with research subjects include editorial director / deputy, editor, report coordinator, editorial secretary, and three journalists, as well as some of the readers who determined through purposive method. Data collection techniques used were observation, Interviews, and documentation.The results of this study is describes how the application of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling (POAC) in Haluan Riau as an effort to produce high quality news product. Planning implementation of Haluan Riau conducted in three forms editorship meetings, which includes news content planning meeting, personnel placement planning meetings, and projection meeting as well as an evaluation. As for organizing, Haluan Riau have determined the distribution of each personnel in accordance with the duties and responsibilities of each in accordance with the description of the specified work. Furthermore, regarding actuating in Haluan Riau’s editors carefully executed starting from the news coverage of the material, collecting, writing, editing news in order to avoid fatal factual errors, including the selection of designs and drawings / photographs. Forms of controlling carried out on Haluan Riau such as the projection meeting and pre mass production. The entire series of the process is a form of managerial committed to improving the quality of news editorial in Haluan Riau.Keywords : Newspaper, Editor, Management, POAC

Abstract

This study would like to see the role of the Dinas Pertambangan and Energy in conducting surveillance of non metallic mineral mining in Rokan Hulu in 2012. The problem is the background of this research is How the role of the Dinas Pertambangan and Energy in conducting surveillance of non metallic mineral mining in Rokan Hulu years 2012 and what are the factors that become an obstacle to the surveillance. This study is a qualitative research, the data collection techniques in this study is a descriptive analysis. This research uses documentation (observation) and interviews with key informants as information objects that aim to achieve the goal in order to get information in the study. Data used in this study is primary data and secondary data obtained through observation and interviews with key informants in this study. Abstract

With the increasing development activities led to increased activity in all fields of population, which in turn has also increased the demands and needs of the community towards the provision of urban facilities and utilities and other necessities. The number of inhabitants in an area affected by the level of fertility, mortality and migration. Variable fertility and mortality at this time does not significantly affect the growth of a population especially in urban areas. In urban areas migrasilah dominant variable in the population increase. Due to the growth and increasing population, the of Pekanbaru city increasingly crowded. As for the impact of this population growth is the increasing unemployment, homelessness and lead to poverty, traffic congestion, and crime rates.This research was conducted in the Department of Population and Civil Registration Pekanbaru. The theory used is related to Public Policy. Methods This study is a qualitative study, while data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis is done descriptively. This study examines the government's policy of Pekanbaru in suppressing population growth rate, government policies in reducing the speed of Pekanbaru city population growth rate is not maximized, and area constraints Regulation Number 5 of 2008 concerning the administration of the population in the of Pekanbaru city. Pekanbaru city government policy regarding the speed of population growth to suppress the population growth rate is based on Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2008 Pekanbaru administration on population, which contained three indicators used by the government to reduce the rate of population growth in the of Pekanbaru city the guidance, supervision, and control.Key words : Public Policy, Regulation, Population Growth

Abstract

The problem in this study is about role of institutions on the performance of badminton at Angkasa Badminton Club Pekanbaru. Angkasa Badminton Club is the largest badminton club in Sumatra has been stand for five years. Angkasa Badminton Club has create some good athlete. Angkasa Badminton club has won in regional and national level badminton championship. It is about how the institutions make badminton athlete to reach the achievement. We know all of institutions has different advantage to achieve their own goal. The institutions must give something to make an athlete become a champion, example give the athlete free equipment or scholarship. This is the way to make athlete become more spirit to reach the achievement. All of parents in Angkasa Badminton Club Pekanbaru don’t know about scholarship in there. They only know the club give discount for the equipment that sell in Angkasa Club Pekanbaru. Not only the institutions but all of people in there has responsibility for achievement. Athlete parents must work together with the institutions to reach the achievement. Good institutions must have their own structure organization and rule to achieve the goal. Abstract

The Performance Of Teachers Certified In Elementary School 003Pulau Padang. The performance of a teacher have a benefit fungtion. To that end, theteacher quality improvement efforts have been made one through the teacher certificationprogram. However, seen here not found a fundamental difference of performance betweenteachers who are not certified by the certification, the low motivation of teachers and, stilllack the discipline teacher.The theory used is Supardi theory is the ability and success of teachers in carrying outlearning tasks shown by the indicators. In this study the authors use a qualitative descriptivestudy was conducted in 003 Elementary School District of PulauPadang Singingi RegencyKuantanSingingidistrik.In the data collection be conducted key informant interviews, theleadershif teacher. Analysis of data the performance of teachers certified in ElementarySchool 003 Pulau Padang then analyzed what are the factors that affect the performance ofcertified teachers who are supported by interviews conducted by the researcher then bededuced.The results of the research showed that the performance of teachers certified inElementary School 003 Pulau Padang optimal because it is supported by good leadearshipofthe principal and also a good team work of all the teachers.Then the limiting factor is theperformance of teachers certified individual factors, namely the teachers have not been ableto develop personal skills, system factors, namelyschool facilities are not yet complete..Keywords: Performance, Certification

Abstract

Banking has a very important role for the economy of the community, its existence is able to simplify and accelerate the need for financial transactions and economic activity throughout the community, so it becomes very strategic banking business and compete in maintaining its existence. Bank health becomes very important for the economy needs to grow and thrive. Therefore, Bank Indonesia as the regulator and supervisor directs the activities of the bank's operational policy development with the provision of banking system in assessing the level of health should be measured by the bank's management in order to achieve the stability of the financial system in order to promote national economic growth.This research is a quantitative descriptive study in order to determine and analyze the health of banks commercial banks in PT. Bank Riaukepri Persero Tbk. Main Branch Pekanbaru in 2013 by using the CAMELS method.The method of measuring the level of health by using ratios as indicators of CAR, KAP, NPM, ROA, LDR, and IER on the bank's financial statements as the primary data. Results of research conducted on the average yield ratio and rank placement of components and factors of each factor indicates the PT. Bank Riaukepri Persero Tbk. Abstract

This study was to determine the relationship with the democratic leadership style on employee morale PT. Taspen (Persero) KC Pekanbaru. This study is located in the PT. Taspen (Persero) The KC Pekanbaru is located in Pekanbaru 317 Jalan Sudirman. The study population was all employees in the PT. Taspen (Persero) KC Pekanbaru, amounting to 24 people. Analysis of the data in this study using SPSS version 16. Sampling technique used is the method of census data and testing techniques used in this study include the validity test, reliability test, the product moment correlation coefficient and t-test to test and prove the research hypothesis.The analysis showed that the democratic leadership style has a significant relationship with employee morale at. Taspen (Persero) KC Pekanbaru. Based on the results obtained r value (correlation coefficient) of 0.885% means that 88.5% variable employee morale PT. Taspen (Persero) KC Pekanbaru associated with a democratic leadership style. The results of hypothesis testing showed that the t-test is greater than t-table which means Ha accepted.Keywords: Leadership styles, Motivation, Work Discipline and Employee Performance
