Abstract

This research is motivated by a not optimal and uneven development of studentathletes in Riau Province. This study aims to describe the role of Head of Sport insupporting students in Riau Province in 2012, and to determine the factors thatinfluence the performance of the Head of Sport in improving student achievementand well-being of athletes in Riau Province in 2012. Sites for this research RiauProvince is located Dispora housed in Pekanbaru. Subjects were 9 people in theDispora informants related Riau province in the field of sports. Engineering major orprimary data collection using interviews. Results reveal that the Dispora's role insupporting the development of student athletes is to hold a sporting event. In addition,the implementation of PPLP to support student athletes achievements. According tothe athletes, facilities and infrastructure provided by the Dispora during the coachingprocess is quite adequate. There are no significant obstacles during the developmentprocess. The problem that occurs is the lack of supervision by the Head of exercise oncation-cation of the sport in running sports program within budget and the programsthat have been created.Keywords : Role, Supporting Student Athlete, Running Sports Program

Abstract

Each company’s goods and services will not be apart from the problem ofdistribution of goods produced. The manufacturer reserves the right to determine distributionpolicy which will be selected and adjusted with the type of goods as well as the extent of asales force that will be used. If the firm is in the increasingly sharp competition, companiesmust immediately conduct a study of its market. Market research aims to identify the needsand tastes of consumers and, if possible, stimulating demand and creating new agents. Andestablishment is successful in marketing if the company can market the stuff widely andevenly with a maximum benefit.Therefore, the management company is required to always remain responsive inadapting to continuous environmental change occurs and has effects on the economic state ofthe company, because that company is required to determine the effective distributionchannels. This research was conducted in PT Penerbit Erlangga Representative Office,located at jalan Soekarno-Hatta Pekanbaru. Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the leadership style and work satisfaction of frontliner employee at Metro Plaza Pasar Swalayan Pekanbaru.This research takes place in Metro Plaza which located at Harapan Raya street no 201 Pekanbaru. This is qualitative research with case study data; investigate the correlation between selling leadership style and work satisfaction of frontliner employee at Metro Plaza pasar Swalayan Pekanbaru, population of this research is the frontliner employee in the and of year 2012, they are 80 persons. Sample taken is the whole population by using sensus technique. Analyzing the data using correlation rank spearman formula.The finding of the research shows that tenponses of respondent about work satisfaction in category agree, where some frontliner employees feel satisfy with the leadership that applied at Metro Plaza Pasar Swalayan Pekanbaru, responses of the respondent about selling leadership style in category good, for most of employess agree with leadership style applied by the company.The result of correlation between selling leadership style and work satisfaction of frontliner employee using rank spearman formula shows that there are great and positive correlation.Keywords: Leadership, Selling Leadership style, work satisfaction

Abstract

This writing is supposed to analysis the performance of the employees of population and civil registry office (DISDUKCAPIL) in Kampar regency. This essay is brought up based on performance problems of employees in involved instansion. The problems are about work quantity and quality. The results show that the work quantity still not optimal yet. It could be seen from work assessment, and the use in work time which is not enough to finish whole works on civil registry unit. Next, the quality of the employees which is not optimal yet, it could be seen from the target or purpose that is not reached yet, and the result of work is still not satisfying especially about birth certificate The concept of the theory is the theory that researchers use Hariandja performance: quantity of work, quality of work, job knowledge, teamwork and creativity. This study use squalitative research methods to study this deskriptif. In collecting the data, the researcher used the interview techniques, observation and documentation. Abstract

Malaysia is a country in Southeast Asia that has a rapid rate of economic progress. Since the late 1980s until the 2000s the rate of growth of Malaysias economy nearly tripled. This achievement did not escape capacity charismatic leader of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohammad who is has launched a program of Malaysia Vision 2020. Malaysian Vision 2020 is a policy that contains a variety of economic development strategies concepts in a systematic and planned figures declared by the founder (founding father) as a condition of rational and systematic Malaysia can bring progress toward better national development.This study used descriptive qualitative methodology, in which the collected data is non-numeric. While data collection techniques used are library research. Then the theory is used to answer the formulation / identification problem is constructivism theory elaborated by policy-making capacity which is then associated with the development of the theory negara.teori international cooperation, foreign policy are realized through cooperation with the United States governmentefforts / policies implemented by the Malaysian government in realizing the agenda of Malaysia Vision 2020 in collaboration with the U.S. government through the equation of understanding the vision of leaders of both countries are realized through the visit and tour of the state, is realized through the development of cooperation in the economic, political, social and cultural.Keyword : Political Economy and malaysia malaysian vision 2020

Abstract

School-Based Management is a situation where the government gives autonomy to theschools, so that schools have the authority to manage and improve the quality of theresources in a better quality education, as well as aiming to improve the efficiency, quality,and educational equity. Increased efficiency, among others, flexibility is obtained throughresource management community participation. While quality improvement can be obtainedmemalui terhadao parent participation school, school and classroom management flexibility,increased professionalism of teachers and principals, curriculum development andimprovement and systems of evaluation, improvement of educational facilities, developmentand procurement of teaching materials, and training for teachers and education personnelother. While equity is obtained through public participation peningatan that allows thegovernment to concentrate on a particular group. But in fact there are teachers who do nothave qualifications as educators in general. Study of phenomena, the formulation of theproblem of this research is how the implementation of school-based management in theKristen Kalam Kudus High School Word of Pekanbaru and the factors that influence thesuccess of MBS at a Kristen Kalam Kudus high school Pekanbaru.This study used a descriptive analysis method. Data collection technique is theobservation, interviews, and library research. Key informants of this study is the high schoolprincipal Kristen Kalam Kudus Pekanbaru. In the School Based Management (MBS) KristenKalam Kudus High School In Pekanbaru.The results showed that not maximal application of school-based management isapplied by the Kristen Kalam Kudus High School Pekanbaru. In connection with positionsand professions can be seen that there are still teachers who do not have fully qualified as aeducator.Serta not optimal implementation factors that influence school-based management,which is still low government support for private schools in the development and welfare ofteachers.Key words: School-Based Management, Administration, Management

Abstract

This research describes the implementation of green growth policy of South Korea. Concept of green growth is a new paradigm in economic development that discussed in international organizations such as UNEP (United Nation Environment Program) and OECD (Organization Economy Cooperation Development). South Korea is a country with high consumption in energy and one of the most highest GHG emissions country. The green growth policy of South Korea is a way to improves independence energy and mitigating climate change.This research is using descriptive and library research methods. The data and information obtained from books, journals, and websites. This research uses neo-realism and security non traditional theory to explain why South Korea uses green growth as its national policy.The result of this research shows that South Korea starts to develop clean energy and uses green technology in efficiency energy consumption and reduce its GHG emissions. By using the five-year plan in green growth policy, the government invests about 2 percent of its GDP in Research and Development (R & D) of clean energy and green technology.government and private sectors starts to expand its industries in green technology and uses clean energy.Keyword :South Korea, green growth, independence energy, mitigating climate change

Abstract

The Asia-Pacific's Coral Triangle is defined by its extremely high marinebiodiversity. Over one hundred million people living in its coastal zones use thisbiodiversity to support their livelihoods. Hundreds of millions more derive nutritious fooddirectly from the region′s marine resources and through local, regional and global trade.Biodiversity and its values to society are threatened by demographic and habitat change,rising demand, intensive harvesting and climate change. In partnership withinternational conservation organizations and development funders, the governments ofthe region′s six countries have come together to develop the Coral Triangle Initiative(CTI) on Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security. The focus of this research isAustralia role on CTI, related to the fact that Australia is not of the part CT state, butcommited very actively and maximum for the CTI - CFF. This research uses InternationalOrganization theory which has been revealed by Peter J. Katzenstein, Robert Keohaneand Stephen D. Krasner. This research is qualitative research which is used by libraryobservation. The result of this research prove that full commitment Australia in CTI –CFF is motivated by desire to 1) spread and strengther Australia hegemon in Pacificregion; 2) enchancing and exploring global image in marine research (megadiversity);3) maintain the ecosystme in the Great Barrier Reef.Keywords: CTI-CFF, Coral Triangle, Australia in CTI – CFF, Megadiversity.

Abstract

Clean water is a source of survival for the whole society on the face of the earth. Therefore, monitoring of water contained in the Act of 1945, Article 33, paragraph 3 states that: "The earth, water and natural resources contained therein controlled by the State and shall be used for public welfare. Regional Regulation No. 5 of 2005 Article 7 paragraph 1 describes the "Supervision and inspection of water quality in use must be checked quality. Pekanbaru City Health Department is responsible for overseeing the full water standards in the city of Pekanbaru is managed by PDAM Tirta Siak Pekanbaru in its function is not maximal in Pekanbaru. Departing from the above phenomenon researchers interested in examining the Dept. of Health and taps Pekanbaru City sebagain institutions in carrying out its functions relating to the title "Water Quality Monitoring in Pekanbaru City Health Office (case study in the District Coastal Rumbai 2013)The fundamental problem in the actual monitoring process conducted by the City Health Department Pekanbaru where maximal surveillance conducted, should the Department of Health set up, develop and oversee the implementation of the use of water in order to maintain and improve public health and also improve service to the public and to prevent the use of water endanger public health from water quality does not meet the health requirements.But the phenomenon that occurs Monitoring is not running as it should, due to the fact that water quality in the District Coastal Rumbai not meet standards due to a lack of oversight conducted by the Health Department to take full responsibility in supervision. The theory which I use as a tool of analysis in this study is the theory of Supervision. While the methods used in this study is qualitative, ie trying to analyze the efforts and the factors and explain the data obtained from the observations and aim to reinforce and strengthen a theory so as to obtain information about the current situation. Data collection techniques in this study is to use interview techniques and documentation.It can be concluded, this lack of oversight of research conducted by the Department of Health on the quality of water distributed by Tirta Siak, hence the need for further scrutiny to follow the constraints that occur and realize the clean water standards to meet the needs of the community.Keywords: Control, Department of Health, Water Quality

Abstract

Today there are very rapid progress in the fields of business and commerce in Indonesia, so as to encourage companies to act practical and economic within business to dominate market share. It is basically the final destination to delivery of the product is a consumer, while the condition of consumers are now already able to act logically so that is more selective toward the purchase of goods. With the level of car sales competition in Pekanbaru, showroom PT Honda Arista Sudirman Pekanbaru devise a proper strategy and deemed the most effective this time is to harness the power of Public Relations marketing activities while enhancing the company's image is the marketing and public relations (MPR). This research aims to analyze the strategy of marketing public relations which used by showroom PT Honda Arista Sudirman Pekanbaru in influencing consumer decisions, it is to determine the pull, push, and pass strategy that used, and the obstacles encountered in performing that strategy of marketing public relations.This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Informants in this research are the branch manager of showroom PT Honda Arista Sudirman Pekanbaru, CCO, Sales and Marketing, consumers and potential consumers by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are using observations, interviews and documentation.The results of the research showed that strategy of marketing public relations showroom PT Honda Arista Sudirman Pekanbaru which used to influence consumer decisions is the three ways strategy. Three strategies these are pull, push and pass respectively opportunity to influence consumers in making purchasing decisions. However, in implementing this strategy also found some constraints, namely, cost and budget constraints in running the program,the increasing number of competitors in the business world automotive industry,and in structurally CCO(public relations) position does not have its own division stillbelow the general bureau so that it causes the CCO does not have full authority over decisions designed.
