Abstract

The research to find out how the influence of the marketing mix on purchasing decisions in order to achieve sales targets planned by CV. Zam Zam Honda Motorand also to find out purchasing decisions in making purchases. The population in this study were consumers of CV. Zam Zam Honda Motor by taking as many as 100 respondents using the census method. Research data in the form of primary data with a questionnaire as a research instrument and secondary in the form of company archives. Analysis of the data used is by using statistical analysis with the help of the SPSS program. Based on the results of research conducted the authors draw conclusions on the marketing mix influence on purchasing decisions on CV. Zam Zam Honda Motor from the responses of the respondents studied that each has indicators that are interrelated and influence the purchasing decisions on CV. Abstract

The low level of culture of students writing caused by several factors such as the low reading interest, the assumption that writing is a difficult activitiy, and incorrect use of time, on a large scale will affect to the quality of human resources. Kongkow Nulis is a comunity that stands due to the low culture of writing among students, especially students in Pekanbaru. The persuasive effort of Kongkow Nulis in persuading strudents to improve their culture of writing is through their writing campaigns. This study aims to determine the credibility of communicators, messages, and methods of persuasion used by Kongkow Nulis Community to improve the culture of writing among students in Pekanbaru.This research uses qualitative descriptive research method adn using persuasive communication model of Apllebaum & Anatol. The reasearch informant consisted of Founder, co-Founder, 4 Members, and 2 Students from general circles had parcitipated in Kongkow Nulis activities selected bye using purposive techique. Data collections techniques were conducted throug interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. To achieve the validity of the data in this study, the researcher used triangulation and reference adequacy.This results showed, first Kongkow Nulis community builds credibility as a communicator through two components, that is expertness and trust worthiness. Second, persuasive message consist of verbal and nonverbal messages. Verbal message conveyed are information about the authorship, such as steps to get started and get used to writing activities, tips and writing tricks, whose pattern is adopted from the programs of Kongkow Nulis through the use of languange with the components of clarity, assignments, and accurancy. As well as nonverbal messages through the use of colors and interesting designs, physical artifacts through work in the form of book, as well as vibrant, assertive and relaxed communicator intonation. Third, efforts in improving the writing culture are done through persuasion methods with approaches adapted to the cognitive, lifestyle, and emotional needs of students in Pekanbaru.Key Word : Persuasive Communication, Writing, Kongkow Nulis

Abstract

In a study using this descriptive quantitative research method, there is a purpose to find out how the assessment of visitors at the attraction facility waterfall thunder gemurai in kuantan district singingi riau province. Besides this research also try to know the expectation of visitor at facility of wisata wisata waterfall thunder gemurai and what effort pengelolah (government) in overcoming problem existing in wisata waterfall thunder gemurai district kuantan singingi riau province.Based on the results of research that has been done there are results that show the assessment of visitors at the facility attractions waterfall thunder gemurai in kuantan regency singingi province riau quite good overall. It is based on the measurement scale used. In addition, visitors have expectations of all the facilities, cleanliness of the locker room, repair and addition of changing rooms and toilets and repairing stairs. And the efforts of the parties to overcome the existing problem is to perform maintenance, repair and management at the object of waterfall thunder gemurai quake district singingi riau province. Abstract

One that is trusted by the Kelurahan is the government organization that is most directly related to the community. The importance of this guidance is carried out apart from the government requires social institutions in supporting good government development programs, in physical and non physical development. However, it is possible for institutions in the village or kelurahan that issue institutions that actually arise from the community of the village / kelurahan who have just come from outside the village / kelurahan. In addition to cooperating with various institutions in development, another village head's activity is to provide guidance to community institutions in the Kelurahan as one of the tasks of the Lurah in carrying out government tasks. The formulation of the problem in this research is that RT and RW have not optimally carried out their tasks in 2017-2018? And how is the performance of the RT and RW in carrying out their duties in the Selensen district in 2017-2018.This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected using primary data and secondary data elements in Kelurahan Selensen, Kemuning Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency. Data collected through informants in search results. The technique used in data analysis is data reduction in data presentation and drawing conclusions.The results of this study can be stated that, the Role of the Village Head in Developing and Supervising RT and RW in Selensen Village, Kemuning District, Indragiri Hilir Regency has not been implemented optimally, this can be seen from the many planned activities in the field of guidance and supervision carried out by the Village Head to RT and RW and where guidance to the Selensen Kelurahan Community Institution, Kemuning District, However in its implementation most of the planned activities were not realized. the inhibiting factor of the implementation of the Lurah's obligation to foster RT and RW carried out by the lurah to the neighborhood and community units in Selensen Village, Kemuning Subdistrict, Indragiri Hiir Regency. In conclusion, the role of the Lurah in Guiding and Supervising the neighborhood and community units in Selensen Village, Kemuning District, Indragiri Hilir Regency has not been carried out optimally.Keywords: Coaching and Supervision

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of dividend policy, debt policy and investment decisions of the Company value in the Sub Sector wholesale listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange study period of 2010 - 2014. The independent variables Dividend Policy are the indicators dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), Debts policy with indicators Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Investment Decisions with indicators of Price Earning Ratio (PER). While that is used as the dependent variable is the value the company at indikatorkan Price to Book Value (PBV). The method used to observe the effect of Dividend Policy, Debt Policy and Investment Decisions to the company Value is using multiple linear regression.This study uses secondary data from financial statements of companies. Samples and sampling using purposive sampling techniques. Classic assumption test in this study include normality test, multicollinearity test, heterocedasticity test and autocorrelation test. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and test the coefficient of determination. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 16.The results showed that the variables DPR and DER partially (t test) did not significant effect on the PBV on wholesale sub sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the variable PER significant effect on the PBV on wholesale sub sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of simultaneous (f test) showed a significant effect of the variable DPR, DER, and PER to PBV on the wholesale sub sector registered in the Indonesia Stock Exchange.Keywords: Dividend Policy, Debt Policy, Investment Decision, Company Value

Abstract

This research aims to explain the role of World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF) Indonesia especially WWF-Riau in preventing the overfishing problem in Rokan Hilir Riau Province. The actors are some from foreign fishermen, out-region fisherman, although Rokan Hilir’s fisherman. Beside that, they also used catch’s tool that was dangerous like trawl net which are explicit forbidden in regulation of Undang-Undang Perikanan Nomor 45 Tahun 2009 about the change of  Undang-Undang Nomor 31 Tahun 2004 that regulates the overfishing. The author used interest group level analyze and this research is using Constructivism perspective, international organization theory and also using concept of overfishing. WWF-Riau did an effort is by preventing the action of overfishing in Rokan Hilir sea where it shows that a minimum efforts of the local Government for the controls implementation, especially for preventing and correcting the overfishing control. Besides that, WWF-Riau is a facilitator between the local government of Rokan Hilir and the center government to tackle the overfishing in Rokan Hilir by the method of monitoring, surveillance, and controlling.Keywords: Overfishing, WWF-Riau, MSC, Rokan Hilir

Abstract

Students are part of the community and academic community needs to be prepared with the advancement of technology era especially new media, so that students are able to use media intelligently and effectively. New media should be a mandatory knowledge that must be mastered by every student, especially students of Riau University. The online game clash of clans is a game that can be accessed by many players, where the machines used by players are connected by a network. However, because this online clash of clans game is an online game game that is played on smartphone, making it easier for players to play this game anywhere and anytime, and require a long duration of playing in completing this clash of clans online game game, then there is It is likely that this clash of clans online game is causing addiction to its players.The concept of theory that researchers use is the theory of addiction. Addiction is an ongoing unhealthy behavior that is difficult to end by the individual concerned (Yee, 2006). Unhealthy behavior can harm the individual and such behavior is seen in online game players. Addictive behavior of online games can be caused by the availability and increasing types of games on the market that increasingly rapidly parallel with the development of technology (Jessica, 1999). Clash of Clans game is a pleasure in playing because it gives a sense of satisfaction, so there is a feeling to repeat again fun activities when playing online games .. This research is descriptive qualitative research.Based on interviews with informants, stating that playing online games makes them feel bound by online games, is a necessity for an ever-increasing amount of time, making efforts to control, reduce, or stop playing online games but to no avail, to feel uneasy, Moody, depressed, or irritable when trying to reduce or stop playing online games. Play online games as a way to escape from problems. From the interview can also be concluded that by playing online games, informants indirectly continuously carried over the game online, so they so rarely hang out with friends or relatives around their neighborhood.

Abstract

Motivation is a change of power within a person aharacterized by an effective impulse related to one’s desire to be respected, respected in order to fulfill personal ambition. The research was to analyze the motivations of tourists visiting the indah beach of selatbaru . District Bengkalis. To know the constraints of the event beautiful beach party celebration selatbaru,this study using quantitative descriptive method,to describe the problem in the tourist visit samples used are 100 people. Abstract

Bright gas 5.5 kg is the latest product launched by PT. Pertamina in early February 2017 at SKA Mall Pekanbaru. Bright gas 5.5 kg is a non-subsidized LPG type and has advantages that can distinguish it from previous LPG types. In communicating the bright gas product 5.5 kg to the people of Pekanbaru society, PT. Pertamina conducts a series of marketing communications activities by applying the concept of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). The public looks enthusiastic about the bright gas 5.5 kg and the enthusiasm is certainly related to the brand awareness that is built in the society, which is people start to know the bright gas from various news in newspapers and also see the ads on TV. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of IMC elements conducted by PT. Pertamina in building brand awareness of bright gas product 5.5 kg in Pekanbaru society and to know the form of integration of IMC elements implementation at PT. Pertamina in building brand awareness bright gas product 5.5 kg in Pekanbaru society.This research is using qualitative methods. This research was conducted at Branch Marketing of PT. Pertamina Riau at Sisingamangaraja street No. 141 Pekanbaru. Informant bleaching is done by purposive technique. Using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, to test the validity data, researcher using extension of participation and triangulation.The result of this research is, in building brand awareness of bright gas product 5.5 kg in Pekanbaru city society, PT. Pertamina uses only five of the six IMC elements that is advertising, sales promotion, publicity, direct marketing and interactive marketing. While, the form of integration conducted is existing division unit of PT. Pertamina to operate marketing communication program of bright gas product 5,5 kg and other forms of integration is from the messages such as logo, image and specification of bright gas product 5.5 kg which is designed with shades of pink in accordance with the concept of the products delivered on each IMC elements performed. Overall IMC implemented by PT. Pertamina can be quite good. Which is brand awareness that building in Pekanbaru society at this time is up to level of brand recognition. Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR is basically a company commitment to give long term contribution to society or environment to create better environment. Good CSR implementation will generate public trust to the company, then a positive image will be able to be improved by the company. This study aims to determine the stage-by-stage implementation of CSR program by PT. Pertamina RU II Dumai in improving corporate image as well as the forms of community empowerment program of CSR PT. Pertamina RU II Dumai in improving corporate image.This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive approach. Research subject consisted of 9 informants selected through purposive technique. Data collection is done through observation, interview and documentation. To test the validity of data writer used extension method of participation and triangulation.The result of this study indicates that in implementing the program, the stages that CSR RU II has undergone are planning, implantation and evaluation. CSR program by PT. Pertamina RU II in the field of community empowerment are the development of integrated agricultural areas, the development of farmer groups, empowerment of women, and empowerment of youth. These four programs are effective enough to establish community, increase people’s economic income and increase community’s awaresness of the environment. Then there is exhibition program of the target groups and partners of CSR RU II which is effective in the effort to publicize CSR support group to the community as well as effort in improving the corporate image.Keyword: Implementation, Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Image.
