Abstract

The wealth of natural resources and cultural diversity possessed by Bengkalis Regency is a great potential that needs to be optimized by the Bengkalis Regency Government and related parties in order to develop and manage that potential. The potential of natural beauty and cultural diversity is a major force in developing the tourism sector in Bengkalis Regency, such as beach tourism, lake tourism and cultural tourism as well as other tourism. This study aims to determine the Cultural Tourism Development of Bengkalis Regency in 2018. Data collection techniques used were documentation and observation interview techniques. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the development of cultural tourism in Bengkalis Regency in 2018? and inhibiting factors in the development of cultural tourism in Bengkalis Regency in 2018?Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the development of Bengkalis Regency's cultural tourism in 2018 in the form of Promotion, Improvement of Facilities and Infrastructure, Maintenance of Tourism Objects, Human Resources Training, and Incorporating Cultural Tourism Areas Become Icons of Bengkalis Regency. On the other hand it is also known that the development of cultural tourism is also included in the Riau 2020 vision. While the obstacles in Riau 2020 in Bengkalis Regency are inadequate budget for all cultural tourism in Bengkalis district and inadequate facilities and infrastructure contained in cultural tourism in the district Bengkalis. Keywords: Cultural Development and Tourism

Abstract

Sungai Kayu Ara Village is an area that is prone to land and forest cover because most of the area is peatland. To prevent land and forest fires, the community's role is needed. One form of fire prevention is the empowerment of the community. community empowerment is carried out namely onion cultivation in peatlands. The choice of onions as a cultivation commodity because it has high prospects and a short harvest time is around 50-60 days. The purpose of this study is to look at community empowerment in the management of peatlands in Sungai Kayu Ara Village and to find out supporting and inhibiting factors in community empowerment. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Collection of data needed both primary and secondary data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation then analyzed so that conclusions can be drawn from existing research problems. The results of this study found that community empowerment in Sungai Kayu Ara Village was not optimal. This non-optimal empowerment is due to decreased community participation and crop failures in the second and third plantations. The factors that support this empowerment are the involvement of NGOs and other supporting facilities besides the factors that inhibit this empowerment so that it is not yet optimal, namely the traditional mindset of the community and poor financial management.                                                                                                        Keywords: Peatlands, Community Empowerment, Onion Cultivation

Abstract

Village government management is a process that consists of planning, organizing, financial management, coaching and development, decision making, management and supervision programs. Village government management in the UED-SP program to accelerate the level of community welfare development in Tanjung Leban Village.This study aims to: (1) To describe the Village Government Management in the Savings and Loans Village Economic Business Program (UED-SP) of Tanjung Leban Village. (2) To find out what factors become obstacles in the process of implementing Village Government Management in the Savings and Loans Village Economic Business Program (UED-SP) of Tanjung Leban Village. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, which can be interpreted as a problem solving process that is investigated by describing the state of the research subject based on the facts that appear during the research which is continued based on existing theories. Data analysis is performed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The subjects of this research are the Village Head, Chair of the Village Consultative Body (BPD), UED-SP manager, Village Assistant, Community Leaders, and United Blessed UED-SP Members.The results of this study indicate that the existence of Village Government Management in the Savings and Loans Village Economic Business Program (UED-SP), should be able to improve the arrears that occur in the UED-SP Berkah Bersatu, but in reality this arrears still occur due to several factors namely weak leadership village head, inadequate facilities, low mindset of the community, and Weak Supervision from the village government, this is an inhibiting factor in carrying out the process of village government management in the implementation of the UED-SP Berkah Bersatu

Abstract

Motivation is a very important factor in a company, because it can improve employee work discipline. So that the ability of management to provide motivation will greatly determine the success or failure in achieving company goals. Researchers conducted research in a 3 star hotel in the city of Dumai, Riau province, namely Comfort. Researchers conduct research that aims to find out how employee motivation and how hotels increase employee motivation. The research will be known and measured by quantitative descriptive methods. This study took a sample of 18 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, questionnaires, documentation, interviews. To measure the data interval in this study using a Likert scale. Based on the results of the study showed that the work motivation of Dumai Comfort Hotel Housekeeping employees is included in the good category because the employee supervisors also provide good efforts to increase the motivation of their employees.  Keywords : Motivation, Housekeeping, Hotel.

Abstract

Government and Community Information or InPAS is an information technology-based and practical program for a variety of information needs, so that it is easily accessible and used by Regional Organizations (OPD) and the Society in providing its participation as a more harmonious, fast and trusted space for communication and information space. The problem in this study is that the management and information services are not yet optimal in the Indragiri Hilir district government to produce quality information services. The purpose of this study is to describe the Management of Government and Community Information services by the Government of Indragiri Hilir Regency in 2018.The research approach used is a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive. The location of the research is in the Office of Communication, Information, coding and statistics and PPID of Indragiri Hilir Regency. The types and sources of research data are divided into primary data using purposive informant retrieval techniques and secondary data in the form of supporting data related to InPAS. Data collection techniques used by interview and documentation. While the data analysis is done using qualitative analysis.The results of this study are that first, the management of InPAS services by the Government of Indragiri Hilir Regency in 2018 has been carried out less than optimal where in carrying out its management functions related to the implementation of E-Government has not shown the stage of perfection. Planning, Organizing, Implementing and Monitoring InPAS still has obstacles. Second, the critical success factors for the implementation of Government and Community Information in the management of InPAS services in Indragiri Hilir Regency is one of the Legal Instruments as the legal basis for the InPAS. Keywords: Service Management, E-Government, InPAS

Abstract

Respon in the world of tourism is the opinion of way of view of visitors and tourists in understanding a tourist destination. This research was conducted inlinggam cahaya’ Museum on Muhammad Yusuf, Daikstreet, lingga district kepulauan riau- indonesia. this study aims to determine the response tourists motivation of linggam cahaya museum. this research uses quantitative descriptive method to process the data obtained in the field through interviews, observations and questionnaires. all the information collected and studied to become a unified whole (Sugiyono 2000). As for the sample in research 100 respondent. The determinantion of respondents with accidental sampling.Data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, questionnaires, using Likert scale as a measuring tool. Abstract

This research analyzed the motivation of PT. Pindad entering the arms market area in Jordan in 2016-2017. Jordan became a relatively stable area in the Middle East despite being among conflicting nations. Jordan is the entrance to the arms market in the Middle East. It is considered of Pindad, LCC. as an opportunity to develop the Indonesian armaments industry towards a larger international trade sector in the Middle East area.This research uses descriptive research method of analysis and historical analysis. Some of the data obtained comes from books, journals, articles, newspapers, internet and other media. In this study also uses neo liberal perspective, the theory of competitive advantage, used of international trade concepts and level of group analysis in looking at the cases studied. Pindad, LCC. as a multinational cooperation and Jordan as one of the International actors.Participation of PT.Pindad in Special Operations Forces and Exhibition held in Jordan is a big step for the Indonesian arms industry. Pindad, LCC. was able to enter the arms industry in Jordan. This is marked by a follow-up meeting between Pindad, LCC. and the Jordanian government. Cooperation relationship between Pindad, LCC. and Jordan became a new breakthrough for the marketing of products made by Pindad, LCC. to enter into the arms market area in the Middle East.Keywords: PT. Abstract

Political participation in a democracy is an indicator of the implementation of the organization of the powers of the highest state legitimate by the people (popular sovereignty), which is manifested individual's involvement in the democratic party (Elections). The higher the level of political participation indicates that people follow and understand and get involved in state activities. Judging from the comparison of voters who voted in the local elections in Kota Dumai increased participation of voters, namely 1.40% in 2010 to rise to 2.34% in 2015, meaning that there is an increasing participation of voters of 0.94% or as many as 1,680 people. These circumstances attractive for their positive participation of voters towards elections is an event important for the political education of students.The purpose of this study was to determine to analyze the causes of the increase in the participation of voters in the election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Dumai 2015 and to analyze the efforts made General Election Commission (KPU) Dumai to increase the participation of voters in the election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor Dumai Year 2015. in this study, the concept used refers to the theory Paige. This study used a descriptive approach. For sample use sampling techniques purvosive. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Quantitative analysis along with the data quality of a percentage (%).The results of this study can be concluded that the level of participation of voters in the election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Dumai 2015 is Active Participation, the cause of the increase in the participation rate of voters because the Commission managed to motivate voters to participate in the Election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Pekanbaru 2015, thus contributing sound enough voters to support the government in accordance with the purpose of elections to be achieved in Dumai. Efforts to socialize the implementation of Election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Dumai already done optimally. Because the Commission has been put up billboards socialization in each sub-district office and district office, in the center of the crowd and socialization to school.Keywords: Participation, Voter Starter

Abstract

Public Services at PT. Pegadaian Ujung Batu Branch Service Unit (BSU) in Rokan Hulu Regency experienced several problems related to services provided to the community, this can be seen from the problems found, namely, that there are still many administrative officers serving customers not in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This study aims to find out how public services at PT. Pegadaian Ujungpatu Branch Service Unit (BSU) Rokan Hulu Regency. This study uses the concept of Sinambela (2006), which explains that there are 4 theories of public service namely Transparency, Accountability, Conditional, and Participatory. The author uses qualitative research methods by analyzing data descriptively. In collecting research data using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results showed that public services at PT. Pegadaian Ujung Batu Branch Service Unit in Rokan Hulu Regency were quite optimal, but there were still problems found, namely the completion time was not in accordance with the SOP, facilities and infrastructure were inadequate, and information get the community will be comfortable in choosing a pawnshop as an alternative funding costs and activities organized by the Pawnshop. Therefore, transparency is expected in the clarity of time in serving people who want to use pawnshops so that the enthusiasm of the community is increasingly increasing to use pawnshops as an alternative funding.Keywords: Service, Public Administration, Standard Operating Procedures.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of working capital management to company profitability Food and Beverage listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Ie working capital management as indicated by Turnover Cash, Accounts Receivable Turnover and Inventory Turnover With Profitability as indicated by Return On Investment (ROI).The data used in this research is secondary data. The study population was firm Food and Beverage Industrylisted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2009-2014. The sampling method used is purposive sampling as many as six companies during the six years of observation in order to get as much data as the company's financial statements 36 food and beverage industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2009-2014 period. Classic assumption test in this study include normality test, multikoliniearitas, heterocedasticity test, test autokolerasi. Analisisis data analysis using multiple linear regression, t-test, f and the coefficient of determination test. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 16.The analysis showed that the variables of cash and accounts receivable turnover perputaraan partially (t test) significant negative effect on ROI while variable inventory turnover no significant effect on ROI. Results simultaneous (f test) shows that all independent variables significant positive effect on ROI. Adjusted R squre of 0.350 indicating that 35.0% ROI can be explained by the independent variable cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover. While the rest of 65.0% is explained by other variables.Keywords : Turnover Cash, Accounts Receivable Turnover, Inventory Turnover, Profitability (ROI).
