Abstract

Customer service is one of the units in Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport, Pekanbaru. Customer service serves as a more frontline which is a frontline work unit that occupies a strategic position and is in direct contact with customers to provide services and information at the airport. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of customer service quality on the level of service user satisfaction at Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport in Pekanbaru. The theory used in this research is the stimulus-response theory.This research uses quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques, namely through the distribution of questionnaires directly to service users with a total sample of 96 respondens, which is determined through an accidental sampling technique. Data analysis techniques in this study using simple linear regression analysis techniques. For processing the questionnaire test data is performed using version 16 of the Windows Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Statistics program.Based on the results of simple linear regression in this study, the regression coefficient value is Y = 2.009 + 0.323 X with a significance level of 0.00 and smaller than α = 0.05. While based on the determination test, the results obtained were 66.1%. This means that there is a strong influence between the quality of customer service on the level of service user satisfaction at Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport in Pekanbaru.

Abstract

YouTuber gaming is a phenomenon that is currently in high demand. In Indonesia, since 2015 until now the game creator content is developing rapidly. By displaying the interaction of gamers when playing games and gamers' behavior has been widely aired through online streaming media platforms such as YouTube so that it can be watched by many audiences. Milyhya is present as one of the creators of gaming content with the most viewers in Indonesia by presenting a new video game concept. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the representation of gamers' images in Milyhya youtube channel game compilation videos (Indonesian PUBG episode - Voice To All 2.0, Pan Test 2.0, Epic Chicken Dinner) through Roland Barthes semiotic analysis with Roland Barthes significance stage, denotation , connotations and myths.               This study uses qualitative research with Roland Barthes's semiotic analysis. The subject of the research are the scenes in the Milyhya video. The object of this research is milyhya audio and visual video. In this study using Observation Data Collection, Documentation and Library Study Techniques. To achieve the validity of the data in this study the authors used Triangulation.               The results obtained are the meaning of denotation in the form of interaction between fellow gamers in the PUBG game play, the meaning of connotations in the form of conversations and actions in the PUBG game play that depicts the lives of young people today in urban areas, and the mythical meaning in the form of community assumptions about the behavior of gamers. Representation of gamers 'images in Milyhya youtube channel game compilation videos (Indonesian PUBG episodes - Voice To All 2.0, Pan Test 2.0, Epic Chicken Dinner) then there are gamers' images as follows: likes to swear, friendly, loyal friends, ridiculing, clever foreign languages, teasers hypocritical, witty, likes to lie, arrogant, creative, problem solving, caring, afraid to lose, confident, clever. Keywords: Gamers, PlayernUnknown’s BattleGround’s, Representation, Semiotics

Abstract

The implementation of senior steward duties in the restaurant consists of: 1) Briefing, 2) Making Request to Purchase Goods, 3) Inventory, 4) Making Schedule for Cleaning Tools, 5) Controlling. This research aims: to determine the implementation of senior steward duties at Where’s The Food (WTF) Fox Hotel restaurant. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, with research subjects consisting of steward employee, executive chef, and Food and Beverage Manager (FBM). Data collection is done by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. And the results of the research show that the implementation of senior steward duties in the Where’s The Food (WTF) restaurant such as briefings with execurive chef, making Store Request (SR) for work items such as cleaning supplies and work equipment, implementing monthly and annual inventory, and making jobdesc daily, weekly, and monthly steward employees are in accordance with the standards. Abstract

This research was conducted at Parit Hidayat in Teluk Dalam village. The purpose of this research was to find out the pilgrimage procession to Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq Al-Banjari's tomb. The focus of this research is the process of tomb pilgrimage, the meaning of the tomb pilgrimage, and the intention of pilgrims makes pilgrimage to the tomb of Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq Al-Banjari. The researcher used the descriptive qualitative methods. The informants in this research were 6 informants. Data collection used method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq Al-Banjari is a leader of the kingdom of Indragiri. This research found that people makes pilgrimage to Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq's tomb every day. Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq's tomb was also used as an intermediary to pray for the people. The people believes that by visiting the tomb of Shaykh Abdurrahman Siddiq, all wish the people pray will be carried out, because Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq immediately convey the wish of the pilgrims to Allah. So as to give rise to a desire to be achieved by pilgrims when on pilgrimage to Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq tomb. Keywords: Tradition, Culture, Tomb Pilgrimage

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the performance of employees in the Indragiri Hilir District Forest Service. Assessment of Civil Servants is carried out based on Government Regulation Number 10 of 1979 concerning Evaluation of the Implementation of Civil Servants' Work. In this study the author uses employee performance theory. To bridge the theory of the performance of employees of the Indragiri Hilir District Forestry Service the author uses a frame of mind referring to the views of Mathis and Jackson called the Elements of Employee Performance. In his view the performance performance theory will consider the aspects of quantity, quality, timeliness, presence and ability to cooperate. The results of this study, the quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities given to him. The Indragiri Hilir District Forestry Service must be clear in the division of labor and workload that is evenly distributed across various fields so that it focuses on work in accordance with its responsibilities, providing opportunities for employees to attend training specifically in accordance with their duties and tasks carried out periodically. Keywords: Performance, Employees, Forest Service of Indragiri Hilir Regency

Abstract

This research was conducted in Candirejo Village, Pasir Penyu Distric, Indragiri Hulu Subdistric. The problem in this study is, how to manage the Balai Adat how social control over the function of the Balai Adat. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods using purposive sampling technique followed by snowball sampling. The subject numbered 7 (seven) people, where initially researchers only interviewed 3 subjects, namely the LAM Area Pasir Penyu, DPH LAM Area Pasir Penyu , LAM subdistric Indragiri Hulu. Then by using snowball technique which is the addition of a subject that is the Government, The Police, PJ  traders, and parking attendants. Data collection uses observation techniques, in-depth interview and decomentation. The results in this study explain that in Pasir Penyu Subdistrict has Air Molek customary hall which is a hybrid of PT Tunggal Perkasa Plantations, the building of the Balai Adat is very grand but so far there is no management because the legality is not clear so that it is neglected and misused as a place of deviation of behavior that results in changes to the Balai Adat the weak social control of the LAM Area Pasir Penyu and other related parties in solving this problem so that irregularities still occur. It is hoped that the Balai Adat can be active again so that socio-cultural activities can be embraced in the building. Keywords : Social Control, Balai Adat, Deviant Behavior

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure on Pulp and Paper Sector Sub listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) study period of 2010 - 2014. The capital structure is used as independent variables, Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Longterm Debt to Assets Ratio (LDAR), Longterm Debt to Equity Ratio (lder). While that is used as the dependent variable is the value of the company is Price Earning Ratio (PER). The method used to observe the effect of capital structure to the company's value is by using multiple linear regression.This study uses secondary data from the financial statements of companies sampled and sampling using purposive sampling techniques. Classic assumption test in this study include normality test, multicollinearity, heterocedasticity test, autocorrelation test. Analysis of data using the multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, f, and test the coefficient of determination. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 16.The results showed that the variables DAR partially (t test) significantly affects the value of the company on the subsector of pulp and paper listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), while the variable DER, LDAR, lder no significant effect on the capital structure on a sub-sector of pulp and paper listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The results of the study simultaneously (f test) showed a significant effect of the variable DAR, DER, LDAR, lder on firm value in pulp and paper subsectors listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Keywords: Capital Structure, Corporate Values, DAR, DER, LDAR, LDER

Abstract

Abstract            Coconut management in Indragiri Hilir district is very important because it is an excellent potential that can improve the welfare of the community. Based on field observations there are some concerns regarding the potential utilization of the coconuts is not well by farmers, there is no regulation that focuses on managing coconut. The aim of the study is to examine the management of coconuts potential in manner downstream Indragiri Hilir district and any factors that hamper. The concept of the theory used is the Theory of Functions of Management, according to Henry Fayol in (Rohman, 2018). This research method using qualitative research method with case study approach. Data was collected by interview, observation and documentation. These results indicate the management of coconuts Potential in Indragiri Hilir conducted by the Department of Plantation Indragiri Hilir on coconuts are still not optimal because the potential of existing coconut fruit can’t be utilized by the community into a derivative product that has a high economic value. Then the factors that become a obtacles are human resources that are not creative, yet there is no institutional focus on managing coconut management, Lack of budget and no district policy on management. The government of Indragiri Hilir should make a policy governing the management of coconut and make cooperation with coconut processing companies to empower smallholders in making coconut fruit derivative products. Keywords : Management, Potential Of Coconut

Abstract

Kuantan Singingi Regency has many potentials with various tourist objects such as natural attractions are quite interesting and reliable to be developed as a rural tourist attraction. The potential and character of the Kuantan Singingi regency as mentioned above is also supported by the Kuantan Singingi regional government policy stated in the vision and mission of Kuantan Singingi Regency in the development of regional economy.Related to the number of tourism potential owned by Kuantan Singingi Regency and the effort to realize the vision and mission of Kuantan Singingi Regency Government in the field of tourism, the government of Kuantan Singingi Regency made the regional regulation no. 18 of 2012 on tourism business, and in this regulation governing tourism issues such as tourism services business, the exploitation of tourism objects and attractions, the business of tourism facilities, the exploitation of attractions and various tourism regional economic development.The theory used is according to Suwantoro (2004: 3) Tourism is a process of temporary departure from someone or more to another place outside the residence. The term tourism is closely related to the definition of travel, ie as a change in tempaat stay for a reason and not to conduct activities that generate wages. In this study the authors used descriptive qualitative research with the location of research at the Department of Culture and Tourism Kuantan Singingi Regency and the key information is the Head of Tourism.From the results of research known that the implementation of tourism development conducted by the Department of Culture and Tourism Kuantan Singingi regency has not fully run with the maximum. This is caused by the existence of several factors that the authors encountered in the location of research that is; 1) Limitations of Funds, 2) Lack of human resources, 3) Infrastructure in supporting tourism 4) And lack of adequate support Facilities and Infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the job training and career development on employee performance at the Pekanbaru Alpha Hotel. The sample in this study was taken as many as 66 respondents and the technique used was Total Sampling. The data in this study used a survey method through a questionnaire filled out by employees. Data obtained using simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that job training has a positive effect on employee performance. Career development has a positive effect on employee performance. And simultaneously job training and career development have a positive effect on employee performance. Future studies are suggested to use other methods in examining job satisfaction, for example through in-depth interviews with respondents Keywords: Job Training, Career Development, and Employee Performance
