Abstract

Convert life in the city of Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to determine the motive for converting to Islam and to find out how the adaptation of converts to Islam after converting to Islam. In carrying out the research, the determination of the subject was carried out using a purposive sampling technique whose criteria had been determined based on the needs of this study. Based on these criteria, 4 informants were taken as research subjects of converting life in the city of Pekanbaru. The theory used in this research is the theory of action by George Herbert Mead and the theory of adaptation by Robert K. Merton. The result of this proposed research is that the informant as a convert to Islam has the same motive for converting religion into Islam, where previously they were initially interested in Islam, they were looking for what Islam and Islamic teachings are, after which they pause for decisive action they will take and in the last stage they decide to become converts. After taking action and converting to Islam, they must adapt to the goals and methods that have been set, starting from adapting themselves, with others, their habits. Based on this research, there is no withdrawal stage, the final adaptation stage is to rebel because of the rejection of goals and methods by determining alternatives to substitute goals and methods. Keywords: Religious Conversion, Converts, Motives, Adaptation.

Abstract

The state in creating welfare performs its duties and functions, which is represented by the government as an element that has the power to regulate and administer the government system. The government in carrying out its duties and functions is given the right to take an action based on the prevailing laws and regulations. However, not all aspects of human life in the administration of government can be regulated through existing laws, therefore discretionary authority is needed to overcome these problems. In the context of transportation in the city of Pekanbaru, there is a conflict between conventional transportation drivers and online transportation drivers because many online transportation drivers are still illegal. To resolve this problem, the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 118 of 2018 concerning the Implementation of Special Rental Transportation does not contain operational standards on how to take legal action for these illegal drivers. Therefore, it requires public legal action by beleidsregel to fill the legal void regarding standard operational actions. However, what happened was that the Riau Province Transportation Agency did not use the authority of the beleidsregel because of several factors that influenced it.            This study aims to explain the factors that caused the Regional Government of Riau Province to choose not to take public legal action against the law on online transportation modes in the city of Pekanbaru in 2018-2019. The location of this research was conducted at the Riau Province Transportation Service Office. Furthermore, data collection techniques are carried out by interview, documentation and literature study.            The results of this study indicate that the Riau Province Department of Transportation chose not to take legal action to online transportation modes in the city of Pekanbaru 2018-2019 due to several factors such as the economic impact of the community caused by the large number of illegal online transportation operations that will be stopped because it is not based on Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 118 of 2018 concerning the Implementation of Special Lease Transportation, the absence of digital data on the dashboard of the applicator at the Riau Province Transportation Service makes prosecution very difficult to carry out, and the use of beleidsregel which is prone to abuse of authority makes the Riau Province Transportation Office reluctant to take this legal action.Keywords: Legal Action, Online Mode of Transportation, Applicator, Digital         Dashboard.

Abstract

Business Center (BC) Herbal Bidder Alwahida (HPAI) Pekanbaru is an HPAI business service center that can serve all HPAI stockists, both stockists under the leader network (Business Center owner) and stockists outside the leader network. Business in Herbal Bidders Alwahida Indonesia has the term commercial status / rank from the highest to the lowest, namely Business center (BC), Agency Center (AC), Distributor Center (DC), and Stock Center (SC). This research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to determine what elements of social capital are in HPAI Business Center (BC) 4, and to find out how strong the social capital is. This research uses descriptive quantitative method, in determining the research sample using proportional sampling technique, namely the use of balanced representation, while the number of respondents in this study amounted to 79 people.  he population in this study is the agent level, namely Agency Center (AC), Distributor Center (DC), Stockist. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews after preparing a list of questions or questionnaires, and documentation. The theory used is the Social Capital Theory. The results of the research in the field can be concluded that there are 3 elements of social capital in Herbal Bidders Alwahida Indonesia, namely networks, trust, and social norms. Among the 3 elements, each level of social capital is strong, medium, and weak. Among the 3 elements of social capital that have the greatest number are the elements of network social capital. And social capital is very influential on the points earned by each agent. If social capital is strong, the points will be large.  Keywords: Social Capital, Business Center (BC) and Strategy

Abstract

People who still stutter using technology so that there are still many who do not understand online service procedures through the application of electronic service information systems and accurate kamibmas (SIPEKA) ranging from the process of completing the registration biodata, the next process manually to complaints of incidents beyond the expectations of the community in Indragiri Hulu district so that the community still takes care of police documents manually. The purpose of this research is to find out the development of innovation through the application of Electronic Service Information System and Accurate Kamtibmas (SIPEKA) in indragiri hulu district. After knowing this, the personnel of human resources related in the field of police is expected to be able to develop service innovations in the police department of Indragiri Hulu district resort. The study uses the theory of innovationowens, steinhoff and stoner (2018) U.S.AHA developed the idea of innovation that can include the effort of organizational change in four dimensions namely personnel dimensions, structural dimensions, task dimensions, technological dimensions. This study uses qualitative method with phenomenological approach. Informants in this study are the chief of police indragiri hulu district, paur public relations along with the implementing staff of electronic service information system application and accurate kamtibmas (SIPEKA). The informant was taken using snowball sampling. Data collection is done by observation, interview, documentation and literature studies. Analyze data using linear and hierarchical approaches. Halis research shows that there is still a lack of approach to the people of indragiri hulu district both in terms of socialization to the community, the introduction of the benefits of service innovation, to coaching the community in using online service innovations based on smartphones.  Keyword : Keywords: Development, Service Innovation, Electronic Service Information System Application And Accurate Kamtibmas (SIPEKA).

Abstract

This study aims to determine Sales Promotion Techniques on sales volume and guest responses to products promoted by sales. This research was conducted at a four-star hotel (****), namely the Novotel Hotel Pekanbaru, Riau Province. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. To find out the responses of respondents with interview data collection techniques, questionnaires, observation and documentation. Abstract

This study aims to test partially and simultaneously the effect of growth opportunity and firm size on firm value. Where the independent variables in this study are growth opportunity and company size while the dependent variable is the value of the company. The sample used is secondary data derived from the financial statements of pulp and paper companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2011 to 2015.This study uses secondary data from the company's financial statements. Sampling uses purposive sampling method. Data analysis using simple and multiple linear regression analysis, test coefficient of determination, t test and F test with SPSS 20.The results of this study indicate that the growth opportunity variable does not affect the firm value and the variable size of the company does not affect the firm value of pulp and paper companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The simultaneous test results (F test) show no influence of growth opportunity and firm size variables on firm value in pulp and paper companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.Keywords: Growth Opportunity, Company Size, Company Value

Abstract

Infrastructure development activities in 2007 have resulted in dry peat. Two years later PT. LUM built canals up to 7 meters deep and about 5 meters wide, making the peat drier. The prolonged effect of these activities caused the community to lack water and there was a great fire in 2014 which caused many losses. Although restoration has been carried out, it has not eliminated traces of vulnerability to fire. So that the purpose of this study is to see the adaptation efforts made by the community in minimizing the occurrence of land fires in the future. The author interviewed 6 informants with a descriptive qualitative approach and was determined based on purposive. The results showed that community adaptation has been running well, where structurally the government has been able to answer and fulfill the physical infrastructure for wetting the peat. On the economic side, the community is getting used to it and has many alternative livelihoods without managing land using fire. They no longer use the method to clear land because it is considered to have the potential to cause fires. The weak point is the lack of economic strengthening so that people do not fully believe that they can survive without managing peatlands in the usual way. Keywords: Adaptation, Forest and Land Fires, Tohor River

Abstract

The company is one of the large and comprehensive forms of organization contained in it human beings who act as mobilizers to advance the company. This research uses this type of research with quantitative approach. As for the independent variables of this research, Organizational Climate (X1) and Organizational Commitment (X2). As for dependent variables in this research Employee Performance (Y). Sampling techniques using Simple Random Sampling method, then data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews to employees of PT Swakarsa Sawit Raya Indargiri Hulu. Data processing uses simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression using SPSS 25.This study aims to determine the influence of organizational climate and organizational commitment on employee performance. The sample of this study was taken by 62 respondents. The results of this study showed that organizational climate affects employee performance. Organizational commitment affects employee performance. Abstract

Responses in the world of tourism are income or the perspective of visitors and tourists in undesrtandings a tourist destination. This research was conducted at Boombara Waterpark at street Pasir Putih KM. 5 Desa Baru Kabupaten Kampar Riau, Indonesia. This riset aims to know visitor responses to the tourist attraction of Boombara Waterpark Kabupaten Kampar . This riset uses a quantitative descriptive method, to manage the data obtained in the field through observation, questionnaires and documentation. This riset uses the theory of Suryadana (2015) where an area has a tourist attraction if it has the following characteristics: uniqueness, authenticity, rarity, foster enthusiasm and provide value for tourists. Based on the results of research with those grand theory the results obtained from the sub variable uniqueness are in the agree category, athenticity are in disagree category, rarity are in the agree category, foster enthusiasm and provide value for tourists are in the agree category. Based on the result so visitors responses to the tourist attraction of Boombara Waterpark need to be improved. Keyword: Responses, Attractions

Abstract

This research was conducted in Cipogas Lake,  Rokan Hulu, Riau- Indonesia. The Cipogas lake Rokan Hulu Tourism Object is one of the tourist attractions that is used as a superior product in Rokan Hulu Regency. As one of the leading tourism, Cipogas Lake development planning will be carried out by taking into account the role of the Tourism Office in developing the Cipogas Lake Rokan Hulu Tourism Object. This study aims to determine the role of the Tourism Office in the Development of Cipogas Lake Rokan Hulu Tourism Object. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to process data obtained in the field through interviews, observation and documentation. All information is collected and studied so that it becomes a complete unit (Sugiono. 2000). Meanwhile, for the sample in the study, there were 6 key information persons. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, the role of the Tourism Office in the Development of Cipogas Lake Tourism Objects is as a Motivator, Facilitator, and Dynamator to develop  Cipogas Lake Tourism Objects and increase Tourist Visits.Keywords: The Role of the Tourism Office, Development, Tourist Attraction
