Abstract

One of the factors supporting marketing is promotion. Along with developing technology, the promotion media is increasingly diverse from day to day one of them is through the internet media. In this research the internet media used is social media instagram.The purpose of this study is the influence of creative advertising of its effectiveness as a media promotion of sales through social media instagram.the population that is determined is all followers account @batiqahotels which amounted 1385 people, who then using the technique of sampling simple random sampling and 93 respondents obtained the respondents. The type of data used is primary data, obtained through questionnaires and interviews.The analytical tool used is a method of measuring the effectiveness of AIDA(attention, interest, desire and action) based on Paulus theory.The results of this study is there is a positive influence between attention (X1), interest (X2), desire (X3) and action (X4) on the responses of respondents that led to the effectiveness of instagram as a media campaign. This can be interpreted that if attention (X1), interest (X2), desire (X3) and action (X4) increases then the more effective instagram as a media campaign. Otherwise if decreased then the effectiveness of instagram as media campaign also decreased.Keyword: Promotion, Instagram, Efecctiveness

Abstract

Competition to dominate market share makes business people to aggressively carry out service processes for their company's products or services so as not to experience a significant decline. This study aims to determine (1) Customer Perceptions of Service Quality at PT. Smeva Holiday Tour and Travel Pekanbaru. (2) To find out the Constraints in Service Quality management at PT. Smeva Holiday Tour and Travel Pekanbaru. This research is a descriptive quantitative study with respondents consisting of 50 customers who use the services of PT. Smeva Holiday Tour and Travel Pekanbaru. Determination of respondents with accidental sampling. Data collection is done by observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in the interval distribution method are grouping data into several categories that show a lot of data in each category and and each data is entered into two or more categories. The results of this study indicate that customer perceptions affect the quality of service provided is good. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of promotion mix conducted by Queen Star Waterpark management and to know the factors that influence the implementation of promotion mix in Queen Star Waterpark. This research uses descriptive qualitative method to analyze the problem. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. While data analysis techniques in this study using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the research results, Queen Star Waterpark uses promotion mix, namely: Advertising, Personal Selling, Sales Promotion, Public Relations and Direct Marketing. Factors that influence the implementation of promotion mix of Queen Star Waterpark is market characteristic, product characteristic, stage in product life cycle and available fund turns out less influence in promotion. This study finds the factors that influence the way of promotion done in Queen Star Waterpark is the lack of human resources, especially the marketing and promotion, so that factors can be a constraint that affects the success of a promotion that is done. Abstract

The progress and development of a tourist attraction is always accompanied by good management methods. Among the most important is the management of visitors given attractions ranging from before visiting, during a visit and after a visit. Andalus Family Tourism is a tourist attraction that has its own way of managing visitors. This study aims to find out how to manage visitors in the Family Tourism Andalus. This research uses descriptive qualitative method to analyze the problem based on interview data collection techniques, observation, and documentation which are then drawn conclusions. The subject of this study was obtained from the results of interviews with key informants, namely, the deputy chairman of the Andalus Family Tourism management. And the results of the research carried out, it appears that the manager of the Family Tourism Andalus shows that management specifically for managing visitors is still in the starting stage and looks simple. Management is still focused on tourist attractions. So that it has not made this tourist attraction a halal tourist attraction. Keywords: Management

Abstract

Tebing tnggi okura village is one of the tourist village area of pekanbaru city that has a vision to realize the improvement of local community welfare, according to prority the role of local communities, especially the role of women. The role of women is important in a tourism activity because the role of women in tourism can reduce inequal gender inequality, therefore this research (1) to find out how the rule of women in tourism activities in tebing tinggi okura tourist village (2) to find out what are the constraints of women in playing a role in tourism activities in tebing tinggi okura tourist village. This research design using qualitative method with descriptive approach, which researchers will take data from informants who know clearly about women’s participation in tourism activities in tebing tinggi okura tourist village at pekanbaru city.The results showed that the position of women in the tourist village of okura is very important, especially in the component of tourism activities offered in the tourist village of okura. Abstract

Sapta Pesona is a condition that must be realized in every tourism product so that it can attract tourists to visit an area. One of the attractions that tourists visit is low so that it requires the application of Sapta Pesona in the Sakai tribe traditional house, Kesumbo Ampai Village, Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency. Therefore this study aims to determine the application of Sapta Pesona in the Sakai Traditional House Tourism Object of Kesumbo Ampai Village, Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency and the Public Attitude Toward the Existence of Sakai Traditional House Tourism Object. The research will be known and measured by quantitative descriptive methods. This study took samples of 80 respondents taken using the theory of Singarimbun. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, questionnaires, documentation, interviews. To measure the data interval in this study using a Likert scale. Based on the results of the study showed that the application of Sapta Pesona in the Object of the Sakai Tribal Traditional House Kesumbo Ampai Village Bathin Solapan District Bengkalis. Regency included in the good category and the Public Attitude Towards the Existence of the Object of the Sakai Tribal Traditional House supports the Object of the Sakai Tribal Traditional House.  Keywords : Sapta Pesona, Traditional House of the Sakai Tribe, Attraction

This research aim to know the customer satisfaction on the cake, and to know customer satisfaction in the price. This research is a quantitative research. As for the population of this research is consumer eat and drink in L’Cheese Factory, sample of this study totalling 100 person. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the quality of service at the Novotel Pekanbaru Hotel, especially services at the front office department section receptionist. This study aims: (1) to find out how guests' perceptions of the quality of receptionist services at the Novotel Hotel Pekanbaru, (2) to determine the efforts made by management to improve the quality of receptionist services at the Novotel Pekanbaru Hotel. The samples used in this study were 100 people, the sampling technique was determined using accidental sampling technique, this study used a quantitative descriptive method to examine the issues raised in this study. The results of this study indicate that the quality of receptionist services at Hotel Novotel Pekanbaru has been running optimally, this can be seen from the responses of respondents who rated each dimension of service quality as good. Therefore Hotel Novotel Pekanbaru must further maintain and further enhance each of the dimensions of service quality, both in the dimensions of tangibles, empathy, reliability, responsiveness and assurance as well as finding new findings that can improve the quality of front office services, especially at receptionists.Keywords: Service Quality, Tangible, empathy, reliability, responsiveness and assurance, Front Office, Receptionist

Abstract

The city of Batam is a city with a geographical location that is directly neighboring to Malaysia and Singapore, thus encouraging the Riau Islands provincial government to provide various facilities and infrastructure such as hospitality. A large number of hotels make hotel management compete with each other in providing good services to their customers. In this case the Travelodge Hotel takes careful consideration so that the price set does not cause a loss for the company. This research aims to determine the pricing strategy of the rooms and to find out the methods in determining the price of rooms in the Travelodge Hotel in Batam City. Based on the method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the problems collected by the writer through interviews, observations, and documentation with the management of Travelodge Hotel Batam City. Based on the data analysis, the selection of strategies and methods must adjust the existing market conditions because this is very influential in determining the price of Travelodge Batam City Hotel rooms.Keywords: Price, Strategy, Method, Hotel

Abstract

The purpose of study to determine how the assessment of visitors to the components of the Asia Farm Pekanbaru tourism products. The research use quantitative descriptive mothod to analyze the prooblems. The sampel inside this research are 100 respondence by using slovin. And then technique to collected data in this research are using observation, questionnaire, and documentation. And it was using descriptive  data analysis techniques. The components that become a visitors assessment are attraction, accessibilitity, amenities and networking (Manson dan Poerwanto in Nih Luh Henny Andayani, 2013:3). From the result of research, the components of Asia Farm tourism products have met the standards and all types of attractions have something to the attention of visitors, other than that the facilities are available properly so that visitors will feel comfortable whe using these facilities. As well as very easy access when traveling to make visitors not spending too big a budget, to Asia Farm tourism object management offers cooperation to visitors who want to carry out certain events.Key word : Components tourism product, assessment of visitors,Tourist Attraction
