Abstract

Policy implementation of service and issuance of international vaccination certificates are policies issued by the Ministry of Health at the Directorate General disease prevention and control aimed at preventing and controlling the risk of spreading cross-border infectious diseases.As for the background of this research because Indonesian people, including those who actively visit Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages and administer the International Vaccine Certificate. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of policies and services and the issuance of international vaccination certificates and the factors that hinder the implementation of these policies. This research uses purposive sampling technique with qualitative research type using descriptive approach and the required data both primary and secondary data are obtained by observation, interview and documentation techniques, for further analysis is carried out. This research uses Mentality, System,Networking(MSN)-Approuchteory from YuliantoKadji.The results of this study indicate that: first, the implementation of service policies and the issuance of international vaccination certificates at the Port Health Office (KKP) Class III Tembilahanhas not been optimal. Second, the inhibiting factors in implementing the policy are responsibility, outreach, KKP apparatus resources, and clinical legality. Key words: Implementation, Mentality, System, Networking (MSN)-Approach

Abstract

The Technical Implementation Unit for Job Training (UPT-LK) is an organization under the supervision of the Pekanbaru City Manpower and Transmigration Agency (DISNAKERTRANS). The establishment of the Technical Work Training Unit is an optimization step to create skilled and creative human resources in Region I of  Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. With the presence of optimization it is hoped that all activities carried out can run effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to determine how the optimization activities have been carried out and to find out what are the inhibiting factors of optimization Unit Executor Technical Work Training (UPT-LK) Region I Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. This research uses qualitative methods using interview, documentation, and observation techniques. The results of this study indicate that: first, optimization carried out by Unit Implementing Technical Training Work Region I Pekanbaru City, Riau Province in this case, the creation of skilled and creative human resources has not been maximized. Second, the inhibiting factors are the lack of facilities and infrastructure, lack of financial assistance from the government, and lack of teaching staff..Keywords: Optimization, Organization, Management

Abstract

This study aims to find out what efforts have been made by Human Rights Watch (HRW) and explain how efforts have been made by HRW to help victims of violence and sexual harassment in the workplace in India. The high number of sexual violence against women that occurs in India, especially in the workplace, has caused HRW as an international organization that focuses on cases of human rights violations to voice the conditions of sexual violence that occur in India.This research uses descriptive analysis method. Descriptive method is a method that tries to collect and organize data. The data collection technique used qualitative research based on secondary data taken from books, journals, official source websites. The author uses the perspective of feminism and the level of group analysis. The theory used in this study is the theory of the role of international organizations according to Clive Archer. The results of this study indicate that HRW's efforts in overcoming sexual violence against women in the workplace are by providing recommendations to the Indian government from the central government, regional to internal and local agencies, foreign/domestic companies, and countries in the world to enforce labor laws. so that there are no victims of sexual violence in the workplace.Keywords: HRW, sexual violence against women, workplace

Abstract

The role of leadership is very important because a leader is a key figure who is always expected to be able to carry out leadership well and is expected to have the conditions of a leader. A leader must be able to supervise, provide motivation, be able to build good relationships with followers, and can carry out decision-making in a democratic way. If the leader in a government agency does its job well, it will affect the performance and its employees, then the relationship between the leader and management are two interrelated things. Leaders in an institution will have their own characteristics and characteristics according to their respective personalities which reflects how the communication style of leadership and a government institution will be different. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the leadership style of the district leadership communication to the performance of ASN in the Langgam sub-district office in Pelalawan Regency in 2019. The expected benefits of this study provide information to leaders about the communication style that should be applied so as to enhance good cooperationThis research uses an explanative quantitative method, with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires directly to ASN Performance in the Sub-district Office of Langgam. The sample in this study amounted to 38 respondents with sampling techniques saturated and using Pearson product moment (r) coefficient correlation analysis techniques.Based on the results of research that has been carried out, in the Langgam sub-district office there is a relationship between the leadership style of the camat leadership and the ASN performance in the Pelalawan Sub-district Camat Office with a tcount (9,125)> ttable (2,028) and the resulting significance value of 0,000 is still below 0.05 , then the hypothesis in this study was accepted. From the product moment correlation test results in which the resulting correlation value of 0.836 in the category is very strong, these results explain that the leadership style of communication has a very strong relationship to the performance of ASN in the Sub-District Office of Pelalawan.

Abstract

The target group of beneficiaries of the Non-Cash Food Assistance Program (BPNT) complained that in the distribution of BPNT there were often constraints on utilization, namely empty / late, blocked and lost balances due to lack of coordination and supervision at the time of distribution. The purpose of this study was to determine the supervision of the distribution of non-cash food aid in Pauh Angit Village, Pangean District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research uses the theory of Manullang (2015) supervision which consists of 3 indicators, namely setting a measurement tool (standard), conducting an assessment, and carrying out corrective actions. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Informants in this study were the Head of  Social Assistance and Security of Kuantan Singingi Regency, the Social Welfare Development Section of the Kuantan Singingi District Office, the BPNT companion of Pauh Angit Village, the TKSK chair, the head of the Pauh Angit Village E-warung, the non-KPM beneficiary family (BPNT). Informants were taken using snowball sampling. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Data analysis uses linear and hierarchical approaches. The results showed that the supervision of the distribution of non-cash food aid (BPNT) was still low so distribution, distribution was still low and not yet on target. The inhibiting factors in the supervision of the distribution of non-cash food assistance (BPNT) in the coordination and outreach of the BPNT program are low, awareness and quality of  implementing resources for the BPNT program is low and the attitude of the BPNT distribution team is not yet optimal. So that there is a need for socialization and training to supervise the distribution of non-cash food aid. Keywords: Supervision, Distribution, Non-Cash Food Assistance Program (BPNT).

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Raya Perdana Inti Pekanbaru, located on HR Street. Soebrantas Km, 18. Pekanbaru, Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and price on customer satisfaction of transportation services at PT. Raja Perdana Inti Pekanbaru partially and simultaneously. In this research the method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with SPSS program. The population in this study are all passengers who use transportation services at PT. Rja Perdana Inti Pekanbaru in the last year of 2018 totaling 30,976 people. Where the samples in this study are consumers of PT. Raja Perrdana Inti Pekanbaru as many as 100 respondents. To determine the sample using the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews, types and sources of data using primary data and secondary data, measurement collection techniques using a Likert scale.From the analysis of data which includes validity, reliability, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis and significance test with t test (partial test), and f test (simultaneous). The results of this study indicate that the results of the first t test hypothesis testing, service quality on customer satisfaction is t arithmetic (12,879)> t table (1,6605) means that service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Second, the price of customer satisfaction is t arithmetic (12,879)> t table (1.6605) means that the price significantly influences customer satisfaction. The f test results of service quality and price have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, namely f arithmetic (93,974)> F_ table (3.09). This means that service quality and price simultaneously have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at PT. Raja Perdana Inti Pekanbaru.Keywords:Service Quality, Price, Consumer Satisfaction

Abstract

Electronic government procurement of goods/services (e-procurement) is an activity of obtaining goods/services by K / L / D / I whose process starts from planning to completion of all activities to obtain goods/services. These goods/service procurement activities are carried out using information technology and electronic transactions by statutory provisions. The problem in this study is that the government management has not been optimal for the procurement of government goods/services electronically (e-procurement) in Riau Province in 2018. The purpose of this study is to describe government management in the procurement of government goods/services electronically (e-procurement) in Riau Province in 2018. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research location is in the Bureau of Development Administration, Goods and Services Procurement which consists of the Procurement Service Unit (ULP) and Electronic Procurement Services (LPSE), the Riau Province PUPR Office as SKPD which is a budget user in the procurement of goods/services and the Inspectorate of Riau Province as government internal supervisory apparatus. Data were collected through informants purposively. Data collection techniques using interviews, and documentation study. Data analysis using qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the obstacles found in the management of the procurement of goods/services in Riau Province lie in the quality of human resources, where the lack of officials who know the policies and regulations in force is caused by the rapid changes in the instruments of local government administration and changes frequently changes to central government regulations, lack of technical guidance and socialization, and not achieving ISO LPSE. These problems can affect functions in government management in the procurement of goods/services electronically (e-procurement) in Riau Province in 2018. Keywords: Management of Government, E-Procurement

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work experience and work motivation on the performance of production employees at PT. Source of Prosperous Palm Oil in Pelalawan Regency. This research is located at PT. Source of Prosperous Palm Oil in Pelalawan Regency. The population in this study includes all employees of the production department at PT. Sumber Sawit Sejahtera, totaling 85 employees. Data analysis was performed using statistical analysis with the help of SPSS. The sampling technique used is the census method and the data testing technique in this study includes validity test, reliability test, determination test, simple linear regression analysis, simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and F-test to test and prove the hypothesis. The results showed that work experience and work motivation had a significant influence on the performance of employees in the production department at PT. Prosperous Palm Resources. Based on the results of the study, the R square value of 0.526 means that 52.6% of the variables of Work Experience and Work Motivation affect the Performance of Production Section Employees at PT. Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk with the problem in this research is the decline in the company's ability to obtain profitability. The purpose of this study is to analyze the management of working capital and fixed assets in increasing profitability. Types and sources of data used are secondary and primer data which are derived from the financial statements of PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk for the period 2014-2018. Data collection techniques using the documentation in the form of financial statements and do interview, and while the data analysis technique used  in this study is ratio analysis.            The results showed that PT. Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk as a whole has not been able to obtain working capital effectively, so it has an impact on the acquisition of profits that are not optimal, as well as with fixed assets, although the assessment through industry standards shows effective, but the impact given to profits is not too large, as evidenced by ineffective profitability ratios.Keywords: Working Capital, Fixed Assets, Profitability.

Abstract

This thesis analyzes the factors that influence persons with disabilities to maintain their lives. How to survive is very influential on how to adapt living things to their environment, because adaptation to the environment is very influential on human behavior so that the desired goals are achieved. This way of adapting covers almost all human behavior in daily life.The researchers' findings show that the factors that influence people with disabilities work are socioeconomic conditions and physical conditions. Besides that, to survive people with disabilities in Dumai City also utilize social networks by building relationships with people from relevant agencies who always provide assistance.According to the definition given by the World Health Organization (WHO), disability is a limitation or lack of ability of an organ so that it affects the physical or mental ability to display activities according to the rules or still within normal limits. The main social problem faced by people with disabilities "disability" is that they are abnormal in a level so clear that others do not feel good or are unable to interact with it. The issue of people with disabilities or people with different abilities is the problem that most rarely gets the attention of the government and the community. Keywords: Survival strategies for persons with disanilities
