Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of united nations high commisioner for refugees (UNHCR) in dealing with venezuelan refugees in Colombia and explain what efforts have been made by UNHCR to help deal with the venezuelan refugees in Colombia 2018 - 2020. The type of this research is descriptive analytic method. Descriptive method is a method that tries to collect, compile, interpret data which is then proposed by analyzing the data. Technique of data analyze is qualitative and use secondary is obtained from books, journals, official websites with valid sources. The author uses a pluralism perspective and a level group analysis. And the theory used in this research is the theory of the role of international organization by Magandar Situmorang. The result of this study indicated, the role of UNHCR in dealing with venezuelan refugee in colombia was to act as an facilitator and initiator. As the facilitator of UNHCR facilitated the collaboration between the Colombian government and other organizations. Then as the initiator of UNHCR brought the issue of refugees to the international community as a disseminator of information through the (RRMP) program.Keywords: Role, UNHCR, Refugees, Pluralism Perspective,  Group Analysis

Abstract

Various types of videos but one that is often encountered is a video about beauty vlog which contains beauty things, appearance also beauty tips and tricks from a beauty vlogger. One of them is Fatya Biya, a beauty vlogger who has been active since 2015. The videos she uploads are related to beauty and appearance, tutorials, tips and tricks on makeup. One of her very popular video is Wardah One Brand Makeup Tutorial which leads to one of the top of the search on Youtube if you want to look for makeup tutorials using a brand called Wardah.The purpose of this research is to find out how much influence electronic word of mouth Wardah One Brand Makeup Tutorial Fatya Biya toward purchase intention Wardah product.This research was also conducted with an explanative quantitative method with non-probability sampling technique and using the Slovin formula which obtained a sample of 100 respondents. After deploying the questionnaires through Google form, the researchers analyzed the data using the SPSS for Windows application  version 25.Based on the results of a simple linear regression analysis, the results of the coefficient value in the study is Y = 9,703 + 0.406 X. The constant number (a) is 9,703 and the variable coefficient of electronic word of mouth beauty vlogger Wardah one brand makeup tutorial Fatya Biya is 0.406. Where, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted with a significance level of 0.000. If the significance level is smaller than the significance level of 0.05, it can be concluded that there is an effect between Wardah's electronic word of mouth beauty vlogger one brand makeup tutorial Fatya Biya on the interest in buying Wardah products. The coefficient of determination or R square (R2) in this study is 48.2%, which shows the influence of electronic word of mouth beauty vlogger Wardah one brand makeup tutorial by Fatya Biya on buying interest in Wardah products is in the moderate category. Keywords: Electronic Word of Mouth, Beauty Vlogger, Purchase Intention, Wardah

Abstract

Presidential Regulation Number 1 of 2016 concerning the Peat Restoration Agency in Article 1 explains that the Peat Restoration Agency is a non-structural institution that is under and responsible to the President. The Peat Restoration Agency was established on January 6, 2016 with the aim of accelerating the recovery and restoration of the hydrological function of damaged peat especially due to fire and drying. The Peatland Restoration Agency has a 3R program, namely rewetting (wetting), revegetation and revitalization of the community economy.            The purpose of this study is to describe the evaluation of the Peatland Restoration Agency program in restoring forests and peatlands in Kepenghuluan Teluk Nilap then also to find out the factors that influence the evaluation of the Peat Restoration Agency in restoring forests and peatlands in Kepenghuluan Teluk Nilap, Kubu Babussalam District, Rokan Hilir Regency in 2018. The theoretical concept used is the CIPP model program evaluation theory (Context, Input, Process and Product) by Daniel Stufflebeam. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique is done by interview and documentation.            The result of this research is that the evaluation of the Peatland Restoration Agency program, especially in the rewetting program (wetting) with canal blocking construction activities in Kepenghuluan Teluk Nilap have not been running optimally. The canal blocking construction has not been able to completely wet the peat so that hotspots are still found in the Kepenghuluan Teluk Nilap. The factors that influence the evaluation of the Peatland Restoration Agency program in canal blocking development activities are the lack of resources used, delays in budget distribution, inconsistencies in peat restoration plans, lack of regulations for peat restoration activities, the lack of a role for the Government of Kepenghuluan and the public mindset that many have not. understand about the peat restoration program. Keywords: Restoration, Rewetting, Canal Blocking, Evaluation

Abstract

Limitations in knowledge, as well as differences between men and women, make women in Indonesia even more powerless. The family has a very important role in increasing development, the presence of family schools is an innovation in community education services in the form of guidance and improvement in improving the quality of the family in increasing the knowledge, skills and attitudes of parents and other family members in fostering growth in a comprehensive and integrated manner in order to achieve optimal growth and development. The purpose of this study was to determine the empowerment of women through family school activities in increasing family resilience in the City of Bukittinggi and find out supporting and inhibiting factorsfor women's empowerment through family school activities. The method used is qualitative methods with data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants were taken using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The result of this research is that women's empowerment through family school activities in the city of Bukittinggi has not been running optimally, based on equality, community participation, self-reliance and sustainability. The driving factor in empowerment through family school activities is support from related parties, then the inhibiting factor is the facilities and infrastructure and the community's mindset.  Keywords: Women's Empowerment, Family School Activities

Abstract

PT. Jamkrida Riau won the TOP BUMD 2018 for the 2018 TOP Jamkrida category and the 2018 TOP Builder (BUMD) award which was organized by Business News in Jakarta. PT. Jamkrida Riau has experienced growth in the amount guaranteed, the value of the guarantee and the proceeds of the IJP. However, in 2013-2020 PT Jamkrida Riau no longer added capital from the Riau Provincial Government so that it affected PT. Jamkrida Riau is doing its business.          This study aims to describe the Riau Provincial Government's Strategy in increasing credit guarantee through PT. Jamkrida Riau in 2018. This research uses a qualitative approach. The location of this research is in the office of PT. Jamkrida Riau, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, Office of the Administration for the Economy and Human Resources (HR) of Riau Province and the DPRD Office of Riau Province. Sources of data in this study are informants and documents. The data collection technique is done by interview and documentation. While the data analysis technique was carried out by using descriptive qualitative analysis.          The results of this study indicate that there are two strategies used by the Riau Provincial Government in increasing credit guarantee through PT. Jamkrida Riau is an aggressive strategy and a diffensive strategy. The aggressive strategy is carried out by making programs to achieve targeted excellence / achievement, such as: the Riau Province Economic Bureau as the BUMD coach submits a request to the Riau Provincial DPRD for additional capital of PT. Jamkrida Riau and the management development of PT. Jamkrida Riau. Furthermore, a diffensive strategy is carried out by making programs to maintain the condition of excellence or achievement that has been achieved, such as: Facilitating health assessments, improving the quality of human resources, facilitating PT. Abstract

Instagram is a popuIar sociaI media appIication among people of all ages, including students. Instagram social media has raised important issues related to freedom of expression. Another interesting phenomenon to study regarding Instagram is how its users interact and treat their accounts differently. This study aims to find out how the five students presented themselves on the front stage and back stage from the first account and the second Instagram account using Ervin Goffman's Dramaturgy theory. The author uses qualitative research methods and uses purposive sampling technique. Instrument data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study can be concIuded that the reason why students use account two is to minimize their followers on the first account so that they use two special followers accounts that are allowed by the account owner.                                                                                                                         Keywords : Self Presentation, Instagram, Two Accounts, Student

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the soundness of the liquidity ratios, solvency, and profitability of the Umega Prima Trade and Services Cooperative and the Al-Ittihad BMT Cooperative in Pekanbaru City during the 2014-2018 period. And to find out the fulfillment of the financial performance standards of the Umega Prima Trade and Services Cooperative and the Al-Ittihad BMT Cooperative in Pekanbaru City, based on liquidity ratios, solvency ratios and profitability ratios during the period 2014-2018.This study uses secondary data in the form of data obtained by the author through, manual reports and financial reports of the Umega Prima Trade and Services Cooperative and the Al-Ittihad BMT Cooperative in Pekanbaru City that are needed by researchers for the analysis of liquidity, solvency, and profitability.The results of the analysis show that the analysis of the financial statements of the Trade Cooperative and Prima Umega Services for the period 2014 - 2018 based on Liquidity, Solvency and Profitability Ratios are: 1) Analysis of liquidity ratios, qurrent ratios get the predicate "Not Good", and the cash ratio gets the predicate "Not good" "; 2) Solvency ratio analysis, the total asset to debt ratio gets the title "good", and the net worth to debt ratio gets the "good" title; 3) Analysis of the ratio of profitability of one's own capital gets the title "not good", and return on assets gets the title "not good"; 4) In accordance with the regulations of the State Ministry for Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, the health level of umega trade and prime services cooperatives is rated "unhealthy". While the results of the analysis of the 2014-2018 BMT Al-Ittihad Cooperative based on Liquidity, Solvency and Profitability Ratios are: 1) Analysis of liquidity ratios, qurrent ratios get the predicate "Poor", and in the cash ratio get the predicate "good"; 2) Solvency ratio analysis, the total asset to debt ratio gets the predicate "less good", and the net worth to debt ratio gets the predicate "good"; 3) Analysis of the ratio of profitability of one's own capital gets the title "very good", and return on assets gets the title of "very good"; 4) In accordance with the regulations of the State Ministry for Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, the health level of the cooperative bmt al-ittihad kota Pekanbaru gets the title "quite healthy". Keywords: Comparison of Financial Performance, Liquidity, Solvency and profitability

Abstract

The development of technology has gradually permeated all aspects of modern human life. One of them is the ease of getting information and communication. Unlimited internet access creates new threats, namely cyber threats. Various countries are trying to improve their cybersecurity, including Indonesia by working with Australia. In its implementation, this cooperation is represented by the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) from Indonesia and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) from Australia. This research describes the forms of cooperation between the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in the development of cyber security.This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The perspective used in this research is neorealism, and uses the theory of international cooperation with the form of bilateral cooperation. Bilateral cooperation is a situation that illustrates the mutual and influencing relationship between the two countries and arises as a result of the commitment between the two countries.The results of this research describe the forms of cooperation that exist between the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) which is based on the MoU between the two countries in the cybersecurity sector in 2018. There are several forms, namely; Cyber Boot Camp, ASPI (Australian Strategic Policy Institute) Cyber Policy Workshop, Cyber Business Connection: Austrade and AustCyber in the digital economy, and Cyber Policy Dialogue. Keywords: National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), International Cooperation, Cybersecurity.

Abstract

Kuantan Singingi Regency is one of the regencies in Riau Province which has been developing rapidly in recent years, one of which is in the oil palm plantation sector. However, due to the rapid establishment of oil palm companies, there are many industrial wastewater discharges caused by the disposal of these companies. The purpose of this study was to determine the supervision of industrial wastewater from the Environmental Agency of Kuantan Singingi Regency in the supervision of industrial wastewater and to determine the inhibiting factors for supervision of the Environmental Service Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency. Supervision activities that have been carried out are industrial liquid waste monitoring activities. The pollution found was obtained from industrial wastewater with a percentage exceeding the quality standard, the activities carried out by the Environmental Service had not been maximized so that violations of passing quality standards, and lack of firmness in imposing sanctions on companies were found phenomena. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive case study approach. The collection of data obtained both primary data and secondary data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation then analyzed so that conclusions can be drawn from existing research problems. The results of this study found that the supervision of the Environmental Agency in monitoring liquid waste has not been carried out optimally, this is due to several inhibiting factors, namely the ability of human resources, funds and infrastructure and company behavior. Keywords: Supervision, industrial liquid waste, quality standards

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the Student Cooperative at the University of Riau, which aims to find out about the motivation of members of the student Activity Unit (UKM) Riau University Student Cooperative, and to determine the activeness of student in the membership of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the Riau University Student Cooperative. Where student motivation here is seen from three aspects, namely the need for achievement, the need for power and the need for affiliation or membership, while membership activeness is seen from five aspects, namely meetings, payment of savings, attending aducation, events and business. To get the right research results, the writer uses descriptive quantitative method which is presented in tabular form and explained in detail with a total sample of 66 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the motivation of the student Activity Unit (UKM) Student Cooperative is high with a percentage of 81,8% and there is a low relationship between the level of activeness in membership and the level of motivation. For this reason, it is necessary to have a movement to foster member motivation, so that the members high motivation does not fade in the middle of the trip and the motivation that continues to be fostered will make members more active in membership.  Key words: Motivation, Member, University of Riau Student Cooperative
