Abstract

The culture of mutual cooperation is not new in human civilization, mutual cooperation in the sense that it is actually carried out by a group of residents in an area who come to help or offer their strength without strings attached or voluntarily help together. The progress of the times causes changes in each individual such as behaving individuality, These changes show that the community has shown the low values of social solidarity, especially in mutual cooperation in celebration or disaster events. However, in Pinang Sebatang Timur Village, the values of mutual cooperation are still found in the community. The formulations of the problem that being discussed in this research are as follows: how is the value of mutual assistance in the community of Pinang Sebatang Timur Village, Kecamatan Tualang, Siak. Research purposes to know the values of mutual cooperation contained in the wedding ceremony and to find out the value of reciprocity, the value of sincerity, the value of togetherness, the value of kinship in the wedding ceremony. The subjects of this study were 7 people consisting of 5 parents whose children held a wedding, 1 Zulham (RT head), and 1 Maruli (elder person). The technique of determining the informants used was purposive sampling. . The method used is a qualitative research method. The theory used is Fukuyama's theory of social capital. The results of the study can be concluded that the community still applies the values of mutual cooperation such as applying the values of togetherness, kinship, reciprocity, and sincerity. Keywords : Mutual cooperation, Weddings

Abstract

Refugees and Asylum Seekers is the people who can’t live a proper and fair life because they can’t receive a protection from their country. The Refugees and Asylum Seekers then seeking for protection and help from another country. There is a thousand people of Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Pekanbaru city from 2017 until 2019.There is some questions that this research trying to answer, the question is : How is the Immigration Controls that running by Rumah Detensi Imigrasi (Rudenim) Pekanbaru toward Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Pekanbaru city on 2017 until 2019, and what is the obstacle for realization of the Immigration Controls that running by Rumah Detensi Imigrasi (Rudenim) Pekanbaru toward Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Pekanbaru city on 2017 until 2019. There is a few main component that has to implemented to reach a succeed in control. The components is : a measuring of main operational procedure, the assessment and measurement towards the jobs that had been done, the comparison between jobs realization and the main operational procedur that had been settled down before, and then the fixing and improvement for the deviances.  The result of this research is explain that the Immigration Controls that running by Rumah Detensi Imigrasi (Rudenim) Pekanbaru is not good enough yet to be said as a succeed controls because there is the main components that can’t be implemented by Rumah Detensi Imigrasi (Rudenim) Pekanbaru in Immigration Controls toward Refugees and Asylum Seekers. And the numbers of violation that had been done by Refugees and Asylum Seekers that keep on increasing from 2017 until 2019 that cause by an obstacle is the lack of Rumah Detensi Imigrasi (Rudenim) Pekanbaru humans resources to controls the thousand people of Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Pekanbaru city.  Keywords : The Immigration Controls, Refugees, and Rumah Detensi Imigrasi (Rudenim) Pekanbaru

Abstract

Until now, Indonesia is still always faced with the problem of sugar production which has not been able to meet domestic needs. This inability can be seen from the lower production of sugarcane plantations by farmers and the need to revitalize old factories.The method used in this research is descriptive analytical method. The perspective used is the perspective of liberalism, the perspective of liberalism says that humans basically have good behavior and humans have the power to share with each other by cooperating. The theory used in this is the theory of interdependence, the theory of interdependence is the interdependence of each other or can be called reciprocal relations in international relations.The high level of Indonesian sugar consumption is inversely proportional to the unbalanced amount of production. This imbalance is trying to be covered by importing sugar, both raw sugar (Raw Sugar), white crystal sugar and refined sugar. India became one of the countries that Indonesia went to to import raw sugar even though at first India was not a country that imported sugar into Indonesia. Based on the results of the discussion analysis, it can be concluded that Indonesia imports raw sugar from India to meet domestic needs and also to achieve Indonesia's economic and political interests.  Keywords: production, imports, raw sugar, interdependence theory liberalism  perspective

Abstract

Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru is a business owned by the PAM Group. PAM Group stands for Pintu Air Mas which is a company that has various business fields. PAM Group was founded by Addy Sumasto Tjia. On 27 February 2005 the PAM Group established a ***** hotel located in Pekanbaru under the name Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru. Hotel Grand Jatra Pekanbaru is located in a very strategic location, namely at Jalan Tengku Zainal Abidin No 1 Kompleks Pekanbaru Mall, guests can not only expect easy access to the hotel, but also can easily reach all locations in Pekanbaru. The importance of a steward's performance in completing his / her job greatly affects the quality of employee work, especially so that the work area is clean so that it can produce hygienic and healthy products, and it is easy to find equipment to use at work. This research was conducted to determine how the quality of steward employee performance in completing their work. This study uses qualitative methods, while the data collection techniques in this study use observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The key informants in this study were 3 steward employees. Based on the results of the research conducted, overall the results of the interviews stated that the performance of steward employees at the Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru still needed to be improved and their discipline was improved.Keywords: Performance, Steward, Food and Beverage Department

Abstract

The research entitled "Government Management of the Tourism Office in the Development of Historical Tourism in Siak Regency 2016-2017" This research is based on the Siak Regency Regional Regulation Number 13 of 2012 concerning the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan (RIPPDA) of Siak Regency Article 13 activities that "Tourism Strategic Areas I for the development of tourism products based on historical and cultural heritage tourism supported by culinary tourism in one unit, the development of “History and Culture” tourism in the coverage of Siak District ”. Siak District is the focus of tourism in the historical and cultural tourism sector, therefore every historical tourism object in Siak District is the main focus of management by the Siak Regency Tourism Office. as for the formulation of the problem in this study is "How the Governance of the Siak Regency Tourism Office in Historical Tourism Development"The method used in this research is a qualitative method which describes the data descriptively. The data techniques used were interviews and documentation. While the data source used is primary data obtained from the research location in the form of research information and then support secondary data in the form of document data.The results showed that the management of historical tourism objects in the Siak Regency Tourism Office was good in historical tourism objects. Three indicators that go well are planning, monitoring, organization, while what is not good is the implementation, therefore it is necessary to improve in order to increase tourists and services to historical tourism in Siak district. Abstract

This research is motivated by law no. 23 of 2014 on local government in which there is a change in the position of the sub-district as a Regional Government into a Regional Device Organization Regency or City and indirectly changes some of the duties and functions and authorities of the sub-district in running its government. The formulation of problems in this research is how the function of the sub-district in public services as a Regional Device Organization in the district Tigapanah Karo Regency.This study aims to explain the function of the sub-district in public services as a Regional Device Organization and describe the state of public services and know the factors inhibiting the function of the sub-district as a Regional Device Organization in the district tigapanah Karo Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Research data types are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this research are documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis.The results showed that the function of the sub-district as a Regional Device Organization has changed in accordance with the change in the position of the sub-district in accordance with Law No. 23 of 2014 where the sub-district receives the delegation of duties and functions and authorities under the previous district government of the sub-district is part of the central government in the region. Implementation of sub-district functions in public services in Tigapanah sub-district in terms of quality of service, tigapanah sub-district has not shown the implementation of efficient and effective services. Seen from the slow service process, and the lack of serving officers and educational background that is still underprivileged and district facilities and infrastructure are inadequate to produce services that ultimately hinder the running of excellent services. Keywords : Sub-district Functions, Public Services

Abstract

Development plays an important role as one of the driving forces for economic growth. Road construction is indispensable as is road infrastructure. In terms of development, in order to achieve equitable development, the Government's Political Will is an important thing needed by every leader of a region in realizing common goals for the benefit of the wider community. The problem of this research is that the development goals are not realized which are not in line with the Political Will of the Rokan Hilir Regency government in the construction of the Kubu crossing, Rokan Hilir Regency.               This study generally aims to find out a real picture of how the Government's Political Will in the construction of the Kubu crossing in Rokan Hilir Regency and what are the factors inhibiting the Government in the construction of the Kubu crossing in Rokan Hilir Regency. The research approach used is a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. The location of this research was carried out in Kubu, Rokan Hilir Regency. The data collection technique was done by interview and documentation.               The results of this study are that the Political Will or Government commitment in the construction of the Kubu cross road is still lacking and has not been maximized where the government only makes sweet promises, which can be seen that development has not been realized and there are still many obstacles, especially the budget problem of funds and vehicles that have high potential. making the Kubu causeway damaged. Keywords: Government Political Will, Development, Roadways

Abstract

Immigration Office Class II TPI Bengkalis is one Immigration Office that stay in Riau Province. In Addition to immigration attendance sector, Immigration Office Class II TPI Bengkalis also carry out 2 (two) instrumental in maintenance of Government Law such us surveillance as preventive way and the maintenance of suction. Immigration Office Class II TPI Bengkalis has did efforts surveillance as a preventive way to appellant of living permit, owner of living permit, living permit that will be finish prevail period also existence and activity of foreign citizen in job district of Immigration Office Class II TPI Bengkalis. We can not deny that Immigration Office Class II TPI Bengkalis also did the maintenance of sunction to the offender immigration such as foreign citizen that overstay, living permit abuse also other immigration infraction. It has exist the data 2018, Immigration Office Class II TPI Bengkalis only one time did punishment action of immigration such as “projustisia” and deportation to foreign citizen who finish prevail period. The method that used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative research. Kind of research data are primary data and secondary data. The technique of collecting the data in this research is documentation and interview. The analysis technique of the data that used is data analysis qualitative descriptive.The result of this research is Immigration Office Class II TPI Bengkalis has did the maintenance of sunction for those did immigration infraction, but only in sub district Bengkalis region. This case caused in 2018 come out decision of Law Cabinet Minister and HAM RI related the change of job district of immigration office, previously Immigration Office Class II TPI Bengkalis only have 4 (four) sub district as job district, and for now become 11 (eleven) sub district or consist of 3 (three) island that have a difference as job district. The Blocked factor such as, deficiency of human resources for placed employee or special employee to surveillance in Duri district and Rupat, so rated lack of optimum in surveillance and calculation also distance that traveled to do surveillance, quick response to the scene when there is any information of infraction immigration.  Keywords: The Maintenance Of Government Law, Living Permit, Matter Pertaining To Immigration

Abstract

A person who is of Tinghoa ethnicity with his old religion decided to become a convert, this difference has an impact on the interaction of Chinese converts with his family which results in being ostracized by his family, even expelled and no longer considered a member of his family, but not a few of the informants whose decisions are acceptable by family and coexist in these differences. This study interviewed 5 (five) key informants who are Chinese converts, this discussion examines the interaction of informants and how to adapt converts to their families who have different beliefs and even rules in living life, this discussion discusses strategies that converts were carried out in overcoming these differences, in this case the researcher used the Merton anomie typology namely the typology of Ritualism and the typology of Retreatism. Furthermore, this study also uses the Triangulation method, in which the researcher also interviews the families of converts as supporting informants to further prove the accuracy of the data. This phenomenon attracts researchers to raise the title of the study " Adaptation Tinghoa Mouslim and their families in the city of Pekanbaru " where the research location is in the city of Pekanbaru. Keywords:Anomie, Muslim, Adaptation

Abstract

This research was conducted at MTC Giant Panam Pekanbaru Brick Shoe Store, located on HR street. Soebrantas KM. 12.5. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of brand image and product quality on purchasing decisions on consumers who shop at MTC Giant Panam Pekanbaru Brick Shoe Store. Where brand image as variable (X1), product quality as variable (X2), and purchase decision as variable (Y).The research method used is descriptive quantitative analysis obtained from questionnaire results and measured by likert scale which is then processed with SPSS version 23. Samples in this study as many as 100 respondents from the population were calculated using the formula slovin. The study used simple linear regression analysis methods and multiple linear regression analysis.The technique used in this study was Accidental Sampling. The results of the analysis showed that brand image variables and product qualityhad a positive and significant influence on the increase in purchasing decisions both partially and simultaneously.Keywords: Brand Image, Quality, Purchasing Decision
