Abstract

This study aimed to determain the effect of Product Quality and Brand Image on customer satisfaction (Study at MTC Giant Panam Bata Shoe Store). Product Quality and Brand Image as the independent variable (X1X2) while the costumer satisfaction as the dependent variable (Y). The problem in this research is the sales targets that did not reach the target in the past 5 years. Seen from the presentation realization shoe sales in the last 5 years. The research sample was taken of 100 respondents of the population was calculated using the Slovin formula. The data was getting from the questionnaire and subsequently processed to then be tested with statistics through SPSS. From the result which shows that quality product and brand image have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction (study at MTC Giant Panam Bata Shoe Store).   Keywords : quality product, brand image and customer satisfaction

Abstract

This research examines the repositioning of Indonesia and Australia’s maritime cooperation. Indonesia and Australia initiated their maritime cooperation in 2017 through the Joint Declaration on Maritime Cooperation, which was implemented with a plan of action in 2018. This cooperation was then incorporated into an extensive form of cooperation form through Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2018, which was implemented with a plan of action in 2020. This research looks at the rationales behind the decision to rearrange the maritime cooperation into a more comprehensive agreement.This research uses descriptive explanative method, extracting sources from books, journals, official documents and official pages from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Australian Department of Defense, and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade which are used to analyze the maritime cooperation between Indonesia and Australia. The perspective used in this research is neoliberalism that serves as the basis for international cooperation theory. It is said that states are looking for absolute gains in when they are cooperating with other states.This research indicates that the readjustment of a maritime cooperation between Indonesia and Australia has been influenced by the significance of Asia Pacific region in their foreign policies. Indonesia emphasizes its interest in the region under the World Maritime Axis (PMD) proclaimed during the Jokowi administration in 2014. Meanwhile, Australia outlines its Indo-Pacific Strategy (IPS) in the 2017 Australian Foreign Policy White Paper together with the 2016 Australian Defense White Paper. Keywords: International Cooperation, Maritime Security, World Maritime Axis, Indo-Pacific Strategy, Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Indonesia-Australia.

Abstract

Royal Asnof Hotel is a 3-star Hotel in Pekanbaru, this Royal Asnof Hotel provides facilities and services to arrange weddings held at the Royal Asnof Ballroom. The department that requested the holding of this wedding was the Banquet Part was part of the Food and Beverage Service Department at the Royal Asnof Hotel in Pekanbaru. Holding a wedding with 1000 invited guests / people is not efficient to be carried out for several reasons. Supervisors as manager leaders who play an important role in leading the wedding event 1000 / person. The purpose of this study was to analyze the planned implementation of the leadership role that was carried out by supervisors in the implementation of 1000 wedding events / people in the banquet section of the Royal Asnof Hotel Pekanbaru.Keywords: Banquet Supervisor, Banquet Section, Hotel.

Abstract

Hospitality is a commercial business that provides accommodation facilities such as lodging and food and beverage service facilities. Hospitality  industry is a commercial industry that operates in the field of services that is very influential on the development of tourism in Indonesia. Hotel include business presses on sales of service. One of the activities undertaken by the company to achieve sales goals is to implement good and efficient service customer. without this kind of service efforts to increase sales volume is very difficult because of the many and tight competition that accurs today. this study aim to implementtation of standard oprating procedures make up room at the Royal Asnof Hotel Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative description merthod to examine the problem in the lift by guest complain about to implementtation of standard oprating procedures make up room at the Royal Asnof Hotel Pekanbaru. while the data collection techniques in this study used interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study that form the implementation standard oprating procedure make up room Hotel Royal Asnof Pekanbaru its good enough but in roomboy there are still those who haven’t implementation it according to standart oprasional procedure make up room because the working equipment is not good enough to support the work of roomboy. Keywords: standart oprasional procedure make up room, roomboy, hotel

Abstract

The TIX ID application is one of the most widely used online cinema ticket sales applications in Indonesia. As an online cinema ticket sales application, TIX ID provides quality electronic services (e-service quality) and attractive sales promotions. This research is based on the stimulus-response theory which describes communication as a simple process of action and reaction, starting with the stimulus and ending with the response. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence e-service quality and promotion of online cinema ticket sales on user satisfaction of the TIX ID application in Pekanbaru.The research method used is explanative research with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire with a sample size of 100 respondents who were taken using the unknown population formula with purposive sampling and accidental sampling techniques. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination with the help of SPSS version 24.The results of the study were based on multiple linear regression analysis. The regression equation for the study was Y = -0,758 + 0.187 X1 + 0.477 X2. Through the t test and F test, the significance value of each test is smaller than α = 0.05. The coefficient of determination test results of 52% is in the medium category. This means that there is a considerable influence between the e-service quality of online cinema ticket sales promotions on user satisfaction of the TIX ID application in Pekanbaru. Keywords: E-Service Quality, Sales Promotion, User Satisfaction, TIX ID Application

Abstract

The Paripurna Mosque is a Pekanbaru City policy made to realize the Vision and Mission of Pekanbaru City. In implementing this policy, there are problems in communication between actors. What happens to the direct and indirect actors of this policy. Mayor of Pekanbaru, People's Welfare (KESRA) of Pekanbaru City, Administrators of the Plenary Mosque from the City, Subdistrict, and Sub-District levels as well as members of the Paripurna Mosque participate in the policy. The problem that occurs is that there is still a lack of communication coordination between actors which makes implementers feel confused in implementing policies.  The purpose of this research is to find out how communication and the obstacles that occur to the actors implementating this policy. The theory used is George Edward III Theory, namely 3 communication criteria, namely Transmission, Clarity, and Consistency. This research method uses qualitative methods as descriptive research in the form of in-depth written and oral data. The informants were taken by purposive sampling technique, namely the sampling technique with certain considerations. The research method uses interview observation and documentation.  The results of this study indicate that communication between actors in the implementation of the plenary mosque policy in Pekanbaru City is still ineffective because in the distribution of information to actors there are still obstacles such as human resources who are not adept at conveying information so that detailed information is not channeled to implementers. the lack of coordination in checking the overall Masjid Paripurna, as well as the limited means of communication on policy implementers and those who cover it.Keywords: Communication, Transmision, Clarity, and Consistent

Abstract

This research focuses on the role of UN Women in helping its member states, in this case Greece, to eradicate transnational crimes of sexual exploitation and human trafficking that are mainly targetting women. Greece is one of the European Country that face human trafficking case, which victims are mainly come from Balkans, East Europe, Asia, and Africa. The purpose of this research is to understand how international organization as independent actor contributes to solve an international phenomenon that involves non state actor from outside Greece.In analysing the case study, this research applies the theory of role and function of international organizations and the systemic level of analysis to understand the influence of international system to international actor’s behaviors. The datas are collected by using explanatory qualitative methodology in order to gain a deeper analysis and understanding. Most of the datas are published by UN Women and other UN organizations, Hellenic Police, and annual report from independent organization.The result of this research showed that UN Women’s contribution in helping Greece in combatting sexual exploitation and migrant women trafficking was through assisting legal drafting, providing capacity building, and ensuring coordination between state and NGO along with the Greece government and society, without any further intervention in the implementation process. All of the programme above are made by focusing on CEDAW (Convention of Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women), Beijing Platform for Action, and another sustainable programme, that will help in the process of law making and amend according to Greece’s condition and needs.  Key Words: International Organization, UN Women, Human Trafficking, Migrant Women, Sexual Exploitation.

Abstract

This study was conducted in Sungai Perak Sub-district Tembilahan in Indragiri Hilir. This research was conducted to obtain information about the meaning of formal education for farmers with the purpose of knowing the cause of school dropouts and parental views of school dropouts in Sungai Perak village. The theory of Hasbunallah is the theory of education and Mutrofin theory of the cause of school dropouts. This research is a research survey using qualitative descriptive methods, data collection by means of interviews, observations, and documentation. The number of informant in this study was 9 persons consisting of 1 person Secretary Lurah, 4 parents who dropped out of school and 4 children who dropped out of school. The results showed that the causes of dropouts are divided into two namely internal causes, namely the inability to follow the learning and low interest of children to attend school while the external cause of the family economic condition, Parental and environmental concerns. The farmer's view of the child's formal education is very low, as many factors cause them to assume that education is less important and costs only quite a lot. Abstract

This research was conducted at the Simpang Tiga Urban Village Business Savings and Loans (UEK-SP) office. PPD (Village Empowerment Program) is one of the non-bank financial institutions created by the government to encourage the economic development of the Village / Kelurahan community through micro economic activities through the Village / Kelurahan Business Fund managed by UEK-SP (Villange Savings and Loan Economic Business). UEK-SP is a village institution engaged in savings and loans to support productive economic businesses in the village concerned. The purpose of this study is to find out how the procedure for granting credit is carried out by UEK-SP Simpang Tiga in granting credit to its customers. Data collection techniques that the authors use in this study are observation and interview techniques. The results of the research show that the procedure used in the UEK-SP Simpang Tiga in granting credit is (Credit Provision Process, Credit Granting Decision, Credit Granting Analysis) Has been carried out by the UEK-SP Simpang Tiga as it should in the credit granting procedure and this makes the business the government in empowering the community can be achieved.  Keywords: crediting process, application for credit, crediting analysis, disbursement and credit monitoring.

Abstract

As a vegetable farmer who has imited land, the farmers in the Sub-district Kampung Manggis have their own difficulties in fulfilling their family’s economic needs. This study was conducted in the Sub-district of Manggis Village, West Padang Panjang District, Padang Panjang City. The goal is to find out the vegetable farmer’s survival strategy. Sample writing techniques using purposive sampling in determining the informant. The research methods used are qualitative descriptive research methods.Purposive sampling is the taking of the subject based on certain criteria and the subject has problems in farming and economics. The theory used is the survival theory of Pierre Bordieu, which is a long-term strategy including biological investment strategies and symbolic investment strategies,as well as short-term strategies, namely successive strategies, educational strategies  amd economic investment strategies. The result of the writing explains. (1) The Biological Investment Strategy is not implemented by vegetable farmers in the village of Manggis Village. (2) Successive Strategy are implemented by reducing the expenditure money. (3) Educational Strategies are carried out by following a farmer groups.(4) Economic Investment Strategy is carried out by increasing capital by borrowing money from relatives, and increasing social capital. (5) Simbolic Investmen Strategy carried out by improving children’s education up to university.   Keywords: Survial Strategy, Vegetable Farmers.
