Abstract

In this digital age, people always use social media to build a community of users to interact and exchange ideas. Along with the rapid progress of the times, social media, especially Instagram, can be used as a persuasive medium such as campaigning. The Zero Waste Indonesia Community is one of the environmental social movements that actively campaign for the environment regarding an online-based zero waste lifestyle using the @zerowaste.id_official account as a campaigning medium which aims to invite its followers to believe in the idealism of an environmentally friendly lifestyle, for socio-environmental change in the future. This study aims to determine how much influence Instagram account exposure has in campaigning for a zero waste lifestyle on followers' eco-friendly attitudes using quantitative research methods. The number of respondents in this study amounted to 398 respondents. To analyze the data, the researcher used the SPSS for Windows version 25 application. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, the results of the coefficient value in this study are Y = 23.016 + 0.939 X. Where, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted with a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination or R square in this study is 40.7%, which shows that the influence of the @ zerowaste.id_official Instagram account exposure in campaigning for a zero waste lifestyle on followers' environmental friendly attitudes is in the moderate category.                                                 Keywords: Exposure, Instagram, Campaign,  Environmental

Abstract

Thesis writing entitled "The Role of the Pekanbaru City Social and Cemetery Service in Fostering Persons with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) in Pekanbaru City in 2019". The causative factor for coaching Persons with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) is the absence of facilities that support the development of Persons with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) in Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted in Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the Pekanbaru City Social and Cemetery Service in the Development of Persons with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) in Pekanbaru City in 2019. The theory used is the theory of guidance from Mathis. The research method used. The author is descriptive qualitative with data techniques, interviews and documentation. The type of data used by the author is primary data and secondary data. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the OPCW's performance with various forms of business, one of which was through the OPCW-UN Joint Mission which received a mandate as a team responsible for destroying chemical weapons in Syria effectively and efficiently. This study uses an analytical framework of the effectiveness of international organizations based on a pluralism perspective. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the types and sources of data used are secondary data obtained from the official website of the OPCW, the United Nations, the OPCW-UN Joint Mission, international journals and other sources. The data collection technique in this study used the literature study method. Data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, presentation, and verification. This study focuses on the effectiveness of the OPCW-UN Joint Mission in eliminating the availability of chemical weapons by the Syrian Government through investigation, intervention and facilitation efforts. Based on the theory of international organization effectiveness by Frank Biermann and Steffen Bauer with the benchmark factors of Formal Competencies, Degree of Regime Embeddedness, Organizational Structure, Problem of Fit and Availability of Resources. The OPCW is considered quite effective in carrying out its duties as a chemical disarmament organization through a joint UN mission. All stages of disarmament have been carried out according to the OPCW-UN Joint Mission mission and in accordance with the mandate of the UN Security Council which is accompanied by a monthly progress report on the mission and always shows good progress reports so that the mission can be completed according to the existing timeline so that the OPCW was awarded the Nobel Awards. in 2013 for its success in the elimination of chemical weapons.Keywords: Effectiveness, chemical disarmament, OPCW-UN Joint Mission, Syria

Abstract

This Research aims to know about the Implementation of Guiding Technique at Urbanitas Tour and Travel Pekanbaru. This Research was used qualitative method with descriptive approach to describe and explain the condition that happened by collecting the data and information on the field. And the Informant key in this research was 1 chief executive officer and also become a Tour Leader during a Tour. and  3 employees of urbanitas tour and travel pekanbaru and also becom a Tour Leader during a tour. in this research, the technique to collecting the data used interview,observation and documentation technique. Based on the result of the research, can be concluded that the Tour Leaders at Urbanitas Tour and Travel Pekanbaru have done almost all the thing that refer to the theory that used. Buat there was also the thing that haven’t done by the tour leaders.Key words : Implementation, Guiding Technique

Abstract

Roomboy is the spearhead of a hotel because of the role of the roomboy in cleaning room equipment for the sake of creating comfort in a hotel room. This research was conducted at Novotel Pekanbaru, which is a city hotel under the auspices of accors hotels. This study aims to find out how the roomboy in cleaning the hotel room equipment at the novotel pekanbaru in the housekeeping  department with a key informant of 3 (three) roomboy. This research uses descriptive, qualitative methods, in which the researcher describes the circumstances and conditions that exist to collect research data and information using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. And the results found in this research are the role of the roomboy in cleaning room equipment, it is categorized as good, but there are some roomboy who do not know the names of the furniture / objects in the room. Keywords : Role, Roomboy, Cleaning

Abstract

Interpersonal communication between long-distance couples in maintaining post-infidelity relationships among Pekanbaru City students will determine the quality of long-distance partner relationships and is the key to the success of long-distance couples in maintaining relationships after the affair occurs. Long distance couples have a very close relationship and communication that takes place in harmony and open. This is done so that there will be no more infidelity in the future or conflicts that can become problems in the relationships that have been fostered. The approach used in this research is to use a humanistic approach according to Devito. The purpose of this study was to determine the attitude of openness in long-distance couples in maintaining post-infidelity relationships, empathy attitudes in long-distance couples in maintaining post-affair relationships, supportive attitudes towards long-distance couples in maintaining post-infidelity relationships, positive attitudes in long-distance couples in maintaining post-infidelity relationships and equality in long-distance partners in maintaining post-infidelity relationships.This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Determination of informants using purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques in this study are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are interpreted by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The technique of checking the validity of the data used the triangulation method.The results of this study indicate that interpersonal communication between couples who undergo long-distance relationships in maintaining the post-infidelity relationship can take place according to circumstances in terms of mutually maintaining or achieving goals as expected. self-openness is carried out by means of communication via chat via WhatsApp and video calls on a regular basis, empathy admits mistakes to partners and holds a commitment to a relationship to improve each other, a supportive attitude provides solutions and assistance to partners when there is a problem and is sensitive to the situation of the partner contact your partner when your partner has an activity that takes a long time and send photos or videos of activities and give gifts or praise as appreciation. Equality discuss when there are differences and allow time for self-reflection to each if there is a debate.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Syafira Pekanbaru Hospital with the problem of this research is low employee performance. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the influence of promotion position and working discipline on partial and simultaneous employee performance. This research uses questionnaires as a data collection tool distributed to 75 respondents to non-medical employees of the Pekanbaru Syafira Hospital. Further Data is processed with descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis by using SPSS by conducting validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression analyses, multiple linear regression analyses, analysis of determinations (R2), and hypothesis tests with T (partial) tests and F (simultaneous) tests.  The results of this study showed that the first hypothesis test is the promotion of the position to the employee's performance, that is thitung (8,376) >ttabel (1,99300), which means the promotion of the position of significant impact on employee performance. Secondly, the working performance of the employees thitung (8,850) >ttabel (1,99300) means that the working discipline has significant effect on the employee's performance. Test result Fhitung (77,839) > Ftabel (3,12), which means that the promotion of job titles and discipline simultaneously has a significant impact on employee performance.  Key Words :Job Promotion, Work Dicipline, Empolyee Performance

Abstract

The School Improvement program is a Corporate Social Responsibility program run by PT. RAPP through Community Development. School Improvement program has 3 objectives namely, improving the quality learning system, helping to improve School Accreditation and realization of Adiwiyata schools in the partner school. School Improvement carried out by the Community Development PT. RAPP as well as seeing the impact of the School Improvement program on School and seeing developments is that occured before and after implementation.This study uses qualitative research methods. In determining informants, this study uses purposive methods. Data collection techniques in this studies consist of interviews, documentation and observation. Meanwhile, for data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis according to Huberman and Miles. To check the validity of the data, researchers used participation extension and triangulation.The results of this study indicate that Community Development PT. RAPP carried out four stage of implementation in implementing the School Improvement program. The first stage is to select a location, The second stage is socialization, where at this stage Community Development explains in more detail about the School Improvement program for the parties involved in launching the school improvement program and also uses online media. The third stage is Community based development where at this stage the implementation of the school improvement program has been running in partner schools,And the last stage namely Community independence where at this stage the Community Development provides assistance to partner schools. As for the impact of the school improvement program in schools when helping teachers in effective learning and being able to use media leaarning. Besides that, for the principal, being able to find out how to improve school acreditation through the training that was carried out. And preserving the partner school environment with the implementation of adiwiyata. Meanwhile, the company itself get a positive image in the eyes of the community because it always pays attention to the life of the community around the company’s operational area, especially in education.                                                                  Keyword : Program Implementation, School Improvement, CD PT.RAPP

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Nikita Hotel, which is located at Jalan Sudirman No. 55 Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. This study aims to determine the effect of incentives and work competencies on employee performance. This research used quantitative descriptive analysis method with SPSS program. The population and sample of this study were all employees of the Nikita Hotel Bukittinggi in 2019, totaling 42 employees.Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, and hypothesis testing using the coefficient of determination (R2 test), partial test (t test), simultaneous simulative test (F test). The results of this study indicate the results of the t-test hypothesis with the incentive giving variable obtained t-count (3,922)> t-table (2,021) and Sig. (0,000) <0.05 means that partial incentives have a significant effect on employee performance. Second, using the competency variable obtained t-count 4.134> t-table (2.021) and Sig. (0.000) <0.05 means that competency partially has a significant effect on employee performance. The F test results of providing incentives and competencies on employee performance obtained F-count (42.048)> f-table (3.24) and Sig. (0,000) <0.05 means that the provision of incentives and competencies together has a significant effect on employee performance.Keywords: Incentives, Competence, Employee Performance.

Abstract

Regional asset management is a series of processes involving three state actors including the government, the private sector and the community. Furthermore, to see good governance of regional assets, it needs to be measured through the principles of good governance, which include the principles of participation, transparency, accountability and the principles of effectiveness and efficiency.This research was conducted with the aim of describing Asset Governance in 2017. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The location of this research was conducted at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Pekanbaru City. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and qualitative methods.The results of this study indicate that the regional asset management of Pekanbaru city still needs to pay attention to several stages of asset management. Even though the city of Pekanbaru in 2017 has won a WTP (Unqualified) opinion, in fact the city of Pekanbaru still has problems in asset security, asset inventory, write-off and asset administration. This can be seen from the results of measurements through the principles of good governance that there are still many things that need to be considered by the regional asset manager of the city of Pekanbaru in the sense of BPKAD for the city of Pekanbaru to be even better. Keywords: governance, good governance
