Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the effect of working capital management on profitability at PT. Fajar Mas Murni Pekanbaru Branch, located on Jalan Bindanak / Pontianak Ujung, No. 5A Tangkerang Utara, Pekanbaru, Riau. The working capital management indicators in this study are working capital turnover, cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover, and inventory turnover. And the profitability indicator is Return On Investment (ROI).               The data used in this research is secondary data. The population and sample of this study are PT. Fajar Mas Murni, Pekabaru Branch for the period 2009-2018. Data collection techniques in this study are Documentation Techniques and Key Informants. The method used is the Time Series and Cross Section data for the 2009-2018 period. Data analysis used panel test of Ordinary Least Square model with STATA 15 software program.               The results of the analysis show that working capital turnover, cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover and partial inventory turnover (t test) have a significant positive effect on ROI. The results of the simultaneous (F test) showed all independent variables significantly positive effect on ROI. The adjusted R square value of 0,844, this means working capital turnover, cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover, inventory turnover have an effect of 84,4% on profitability while the remaining 15,6% is influenced by other factors. Keywords: Working Capital Turnover, Cash Turnover, Receivables Turnover, Inventory Turnover, Profitability (ROI).

Abstract

Alam Mayang Recreation Tourism is one of the tourist attractions with outdoor recreation concept in Pecanbaru City. This research is intended to deyetermine attractiveness of Alam Mayang Recreation Tourism by using the theory of Bagyono, namely something to see, something to di, and something to buy This research uses a descriptive quantitative methods to examine the problems raised. The sample used was 100 people taken using Slovin formula. While the data collection techniques in this research used observation, documentation, and questionnaires using a Likert scale as a measurement tool. Based on the research results, the Alam Mayang Recreation Tourism get the grand total score is 3.204 in the score range of 2.719-3.359 in the good category, with the conclusion that the attraction of Alam Mayang Recreation Tourism is in the good category. Keywords : Attraction, Recreation, Alam Mayang.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the PT. Swadharma Sarana Informaika Pekanbaru at Jalan Kutilang No. 09 Kampung Melayu Sukajadi, Kota Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of selection and placement on employee performance parttially and simultaneously. This study uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool that is distributed to 67 respondents to employees of PT. Swadharma Sarana Informatika Pekanbaru. The data is then processed using descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis using SPSS by conducting validity, realibity testing, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, determination analysis (R2) and hypothesis testing by   t (partial) and F (simultaneous) testing. The results showed that the first hypothesis testing which is selection on employee performance was tcount (2,087) > ttable (2,000), meaning that selection significantly influenced employee performance. Second placement of employee performance is tcount (3,062) > ttable (2,000), meaning that placement has a significant effect on employee performance. The result of Fcount (8,125) > Ftable (3,15) means that selection and placement have a significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: Selection, Placement, Employee Performance

Abstract

The dualism of authority in land services in Batam City, this is the Batam Authority (OB) now the Batam Concession Agency (BP) with Presidential Decree Number 41 of 1973 concerning the Batam Island Industrial Area and Decree of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 43 of 1977 concerning Management and Use of Land in The Batam Island Industrial Area provides authority to BP Batam in the land sector. The birth of the Batam City Government as stipulated in Law Number 53 of 1999 concerning the Establishment of Pelalawan Regency, Rokan Hulu Regency, Rokan Hilir Regency, Siak Regency, Karimun Regency, Natuna Regency, Kuantan Singingi Regency, and Batam City made Batam City an autonomous region that has mandatory affairs authority in the land sector. The purpose of this study is to describe the Dualism of Authority in Land Services in Batam City in 2018.This research uses a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive. The research location is in Batam City. Types and sources of data are divided into primary data with informant retrieval techniques through observations of researchers and secondary data in the form of supporting data related to dualism of authority in land services. Data collection techniques used by interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out using qualitative analysis.            The results show that the Dualism of Authority in Land Services in Batam City in 2018. In this case the Batam Authority (BP Batam) has the authority to manage land rights in Batam City, the Batam City Government does not have the authority in the land sector. The dualism of authority between the Batam Concession Agency and the Batam City Government is in legal uncertainty which causes frequent changes in policies that cause potential investors to hesitate to invest in Batam City. Abstract

The construction of road infrastructure in Dumai City is an important basic infrastructure to improve considering the city of Dumai has strategic value as the gateway to the coast of Sumatra, and is supported by the vision and mission of Dumai City. Quality Improvement & Quantity of road Infrastructure development aims to optimize services to the community as well as to encourage the development of Dumai City in accordance with the City Strategic Plan going forward taking into account the impact as a result of considerable City changes. But in reality the construction of road infrastructure in Dumai City has not been done optimally, this is due to several factors found in the field. This research aims to find out the strategy of road infrastructure development in Dumai City and the inhibitory factor of road infrastructure development in Dumai City. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive case study approach. Informants are taken using purposive sampling. Data collection is done with observations, interviews, and documentation later in the analysis based on the formulation of research problems. The results of this study show that the construction of road infrastructure in Dumai City has not been done optimally, based on the selection of technology used, determination of authority, coordination, embodiment, and system management. The inhibitory factor in the construction of road infrastructure in Dumai City is the natural condition factor and the leader's policy factor. So that the PUPR Office or the relevant government can increase information openness through open access, in addition it needs to be improved the quality of coordination meetings when determining priority roads so that what has been set does not need to be re-enacted due to the policy of the leader.Keywords: Strategy, Development, Road Infrastructure, Dumai City

Abstract

E-Samsat Riau is a service program in motor vehicle tax payment that developed by the Riau Provincial Bapenda, Riau Police, Jasa Raharja and Bank Riau Kepri. The lack of understanding of taxpayers about E-Samsat Riau and requiring the taxpayers to come back to the Samsat office is a phenomenon found in the field.The aim of this study is to find out and analyze the implementation of the motor vehicle tax service program through E-Samsat Riau and to analyze the inhibiting factors of program implementation motor vehicle tax services through E-Samsat Riau. This kind of research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection obtained both primary data and secondary data are collected through interviews, observation and documentation then analyzed, so that conclusions can be drawn from existing research problems. To see the implementation of E-Samsat Riau, seen from three indicators, which are the existence of a program or policy, target groups and elements executor. From the results of the implementation of E-Samsat Riau, it was not too significant both in the acceptance of PAD and the ease of service, this was caused by several inhibiting factors, those are limited budget and facilities and infrastructure.  Keywords: Riau E-Samsat, motor vehicle tax,Regional Revenue Agencies of Riau

Abstract

The process of adopting animal waste innovation into compost and biogas can improve the economy and welfare of the people of Kampung Olak. Through the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of PT. RAPP Estate Mandau seeks to assist the community in the process of adopting animal waste innovation so as to produce compost and biogas. With the presence of the adoption process of livestock waste innovation as a form of implementing the pillars of the mission of Siak Regency in Pillar 1 Creating the quality of human resources that are healthy, intelligent, moral, faithful and pious. The purpose of this study was to determine how the adoption of livestock waste innovation through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program in Siak Regency and to determine the inhibiting factors for the adoption of livestock waste innovation through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in Siak Regency. This research uses purposive sampling technique with qualitative research type using descriptive approach and the required data both primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation then analyzed based on the research problem. The results of this study indicate that: first, the process of adopting the innovation of livestock waste through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in Siak Regency in this study is the process of adopting the innovation of livestock waste running well. Abstract

            A country will determine the choice of international commitments to other actors and to international treaties that become its concentration base on certain strategies that are closest to its preferences. Through commitment preferences, this study seeks to explain the causes of the different levels of commitment of ASEAN countries to the Arms Trade Treaty—the negotiation process and signing—which hinders the universalization and implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty as arms transfer control among ASEAN countries so that it needs special attention.            The author uses a neorealism perspective with the assumption that in the anarchic structure of the international system, a country's preference for international commitment to certain international treaties is based on the seek for security. This assumption allows the author to use modifiers for military strategy theory to determine indicators in the independent variables. The author also uses qualitative methods with logistic regression statistical instrument/tool to identify the most influential predictors and variations in the dependent variable.            This study concludes that the indicator of the type of government regime is the only statistically significant indicator that most influences the differences in the commitments of ASEAN countries to the Arms Trade Treaty where the more democratic a country is, the higher the probability of signing the text of the Arms Trade Treaty.  Keywords: International Commitments, International Treaties, Commitment Preferences, Arms Trade Treaty.

Abstract

A tourist attraction is anything that has a uniqueness, beauty, and value in the form of a diversity of natural, cultural, and man-made diversity that is the target or destination of tourist visits. Attraction can attract tourists to visit tourist attractions and must meet the requirements are (1) what to see, (2) what to do, (3) what to buy, (4) what to arrived (5) what to stay. (1) This study aims to find out and analyze the attractiveness in the development of Rantau Bais Tourism Village, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. (2) Knowing and analyzing external factors that support and hinder the development of tourism in the Rantau Bais Tourism Village, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. This study uses a qualitative method using a descriptive approach, the subject of this study is the Head of the Rantau Bais Village, Chairperson of Pokdarwis, and Community Leaders. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data used in conducting this research is data reduction data, data presentation, and making conclusions. The results of this study indicate that this Rantau Bais tourism village has natural tourist attraction, cultural tourism attraction, and special interest tourist attraction. The natural attraction is the flora and fauna of Tilan Island and the Rokan River. The cultural appeal of the breeders' culture, the culture of the fishing communities in the Rokan river, and the culture of the indigenous people. The conclusion of this research is to maximize the attractiveness of the development of attractions in the Village of Rantau Bais, by adding attractions to attract tourists who come to the village, as well as repairing and equipping infrastructure facilities together with local travelers. Keywords: Attraction, Tourist Attraction, Tourist Village

Abstract

In today's digital age everyone easily accesses information through the internet. Nowadays people can know an event somewhere immediately when they search for information through online media. The purpose of this research is to find out the framing and ideology in the news of the escape of prisoners and prisoners of The Prison Sialang Bungkuk Pekanbaru On Online Media Antarariau.com.The method in this research uses qualitative approach with framing analysis method of Robert N. Entman model. Four important elements in the framing analysis of Robert N. Entman's model are Define problems, Diagnose causes, Make moral judgement and Treatment recommendation. The subject in this study is online media covering the escape of prisoners and inmates of Sialang Bungkuk Prison in Pekanbaru in May 2017. Data analysis techniques using Robert N. Entman's framing analysis model.The results found that not all news uploaded in May 2017 there are four elements framing model Robert N. Entman. Antarariau.com the escape of prisoners and inmates of Sialang Bungkuk Pekanbaru Prison as a legal matter. Framing in the news submitted by online media Antarariau.com select sources directly related to the riots. Online media Antarariau.com the Riau Regional Police, the families of detainees, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, and legal experts in framing the news.
