Abstract

Empowerment of farmer groups aims to develop a mindset and work of farmers whose processes are continuously carried out by the government. The government as an agent of empowerment must know and be able to adopt new innovations in order to create farmer welfare. The background of this thesis is the researcher's view of the phenomena that occur in the assessment of the ability of farmer groups in the Kempas Jaya Village. There are four farmer groups in the 2019 assessment process down to the advanced class which was previously the main class. With the formulation of the problem in this study are how and what factors are hindering the empowerment of the local government of Indragiri Hilir Regency against farmer groups in the Kempas Jaya Village, Kempas District in 2019. This research aims to describe the empowerment of local governments towards farmer groups and identify factors that hinder government empowerment. Indragiri Hilir Regency to farmer groups in the Kempas Jaya Village, Kempas District in 2019.The research approach used is a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive. The research location is in the Kempas Jaya Village, Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. With the type and source of research data is divided into primary data in the form of purposive informant retrieval techniques and secondary data in the form of supporting data related to farmer groups. Data collection techniques used interviews and documentation, while data analysis was carried out using qualitative analysis.The results of this study indicate that the Local Government of Indragiri Hilir Regency has been able to empower farmer groups through several empowerment programs in four forms, namely human development, business development, environmental development and institutional development. However, in implementing the empowerment efforts of the Indragiri Hilir District Government to the farmer groups of the Kempas Jaya Village, they experience internal constraints from the lack of means of production, lack of institutional strengthening, and low knowledge of farmers, and constraints from external geographical conditions and extension workers. Keywords: Empowerment, Farmer Groups, Local Government

Abstract

In accordance with the data obtained that mentions that Lake Toba belongs to the KSPN (strategic area of national tourism), it is necessary to take coordinated, systematic, directed and integrated measures so that the need for an action aimed at accelerating development with a policy called state penetration. The purpose of this research is to know what is an obstacle to the development of Lake Toba as a leading tourist destination on a national and international scale and to know the efforts that need to be made, especially the implementing body of the lake toba authority (BPODT) in addressing the problems that become obstacles to Lake Toba as a priority tourist destination. This study uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. The results of research on the penetration of the country in order to accelerate the development of lake toba tourism is a manifestation of the potential seen if Lake Toba can be used as a priority tourism even super priority on an international scale. The obstacles encountered by BPODT are land ownership issues and the community is less participating in accelerating development. The efforts made by the Lake Toba Authority (BPODT) are to improve authoritative and coordinated functions.Keywords : Country Penetration

Abstract

                                                                   Development is a way carried out for the management of attractions in order to increase the attraction offered, in order to develop to increase the number of visits. The purpose of this research to find out what are the potential tourist attractions in the Komodo National Park and to find out how the development of natural tourism objects in Komodo National Park, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This research adopted a qualitative method with an observative approach, the subjects of this research were the Head of the National Park Management Section Resort, Staff of the National Park Management Section, Ranger, Tour Operators, Tour Guides and tourists visiting the Komodo National Park. Data collections were done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of research drawn from the development of nature tourism from the product sides are In Situ, Total Experiences, Perishable and Non Recoverable. From observations made by the author, it seems to have proceeded on its own because several factors that become innovations, but there are still some developments that haven’t been carried out as well as possible. As for some inhibiting factors in this research in the form of problems with control so that the difficult of spatial and bureaucratic arrangements hasn’t been arranged. For this reason, writing about development of natural attractions in the Komodo National Park is expected to be a reference for relevant National Park Management section. Keywords : development, natural attractions, in terms of products, national park

Abstract

This research aims to know and analyze the financial performance standards of the liquidity ratio, solvency, activity and profitability of the cooperative trade and services Prima Umega Pekanbaru city during the period of 2014-2018.This research uses secondary data in the form of data obtained by authors through, manual report and financial statements of trade cooperatives and services Prima Umega Kota Pekanbaru as required researchers for the analysis of liquidity, solvency, activity and profitability.The results of the analysis showed that the financial statements of trade cooperatives and services of Prima Umega 2014-2018 period based on the liquidity Ratio, solvency, activity and profitability are: 1) The liquidity ratio analysis, current Ratio gets the predicate "bad", and at the cash Ratio got the predicate "bad"; 2) analysis of the solvency ratio, debt to total assets ratio received a "very good" predicate, and debt to equity ratio received a "good" predicate; 3) Activity ratio analysis, total assets turnover ratio gets "bad" predicate;Analysis of the activity ratio, the total assets turnover ratio received a predicate "Bad" and the working capital turnover ratio received a predicate "Bad"; 4) The analysis of the profitability ratio, return on asset gets the predicate "good enough", return on equity gets the predicate "less good" and Net Proft Margin gets the predicate "very good". Keyword : Financial Performance, Liquidity, Solvency, Activity, and Profitability.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. DPN II Unit Sei Kuantan Kuansing with a problem in this research is the low employee performance. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance partially and simultaneously. This study uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool that is distributed to 84 respondents to employees of PT. DPN II Unit Sei Kuantan Kuansing. The data is then processed using descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis using SPSS by conducting validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, determination analysis (R2) and hypothesis testing with t (partial) and F (simultaneous) testing. The results showed that the first hypothesis testing which is compensation for employee performance, namely tcount (8,118)> ttable (1.989), meaning that compensation has a significant effect on employee performance. second work discipline on employee performance is tcount (9.836)> ttable (1.989), meaning that work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. The results of the test Fcount (60.838)> Ftable (3.11) means that compensation and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance.Keywords: Compensation, Work Discipline, Employee Performance

Abstract

E-KTP making service is one form of public service provided by the government. e-KTP as the official identity of the population which is regulated by the implementing agency which is valid throughout the region. Since the division of Kubu Babussalam sub-district in 2012 the e-KTP service has experienced various problems. So this study aims to analyze the public services in the management of e-KTP at the UPT Department of Population and Civil Registration in Kubu Babussalam sub-district and the obstacles in the implementation of these services. This research is a field research using descriptive research and a qualitative approach. The research location is at the UPT Department of Population and Civil Registration in Kubu Babussalam Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency. This study uses the theory of responsiveness, responsiveness, and accountability in achieving research objectives. Then the data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis used qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques.The results of the study indicate that public services in managing e-KTP by the UPT Department of Population and Civil Registration in Kubu Babussalam District can be seen from three aspects, namely. (1) Responsiveness, by providing e-KTP services according to community needs, arranging service agendas and priorities and developing programs according to community needs and aspirations. (2) Responsibility, by conducting programs in order to fulfill demand figures and provide good service to the community. (3) Accountability, namely by following procedures or service procedures that are easy to understand by the public, and are not complicated. Then regarding the obstacles in service found such as recording machines, operator and network disturbances, queuing services, ignorant community members and the lack of signs in the service notification. Keywords: Public Service, e-KTP, UPT Department of Population and Civil Registry.

Abstract

For the Ethnic Chinese community, Feng Shui is considered a good, worthy and proper value so that its existence is considered important in life. Feng Shui residence is basic, because the house is the center of all life activities. Their actions are influenced by various motivations that give rise to social actions that underlie Chinese ethnicity doing Feng Shui. The formulation of the problem discussed in this study is how the background of ethnic Chinese social actions in the application of residential Feng Shui and why residential Feng Shui is still used by ethnic Chinese in Pekanbaru city. The subjects of this study were 4 people consisting of various levels of society. With descriptive qualitative research methods and using social action theory from Max Weber, this study can conclude that the actions of the Chinese Ethnic in Pekanbaru in carrying out Feng Shui are based on 4 kinds of social actions, namely (1) instrumental rational action, (2) value-oriented rational action, (3) traditional action and (4) affective action. The suitability of Feng Shui analysis with the logical truth that has been passed down from generation to generation, as well as the success of the Chinese community, shows that Feng Shui is the values that can bring good luck, which is the main key so that the practice of Feng Shui survives in today's modernity.Keywords: Feng Shui, Residential House, Social Action

Abstract

In 2018 several regions in Indonesia will hold simultaneous local elections. One of them is Riau Province which is implementing the Simultaneous Local Election followed by several pairs of candidates from Political Parties. One of them is Syamsuar-Edy Natar who is promoted by PAN, PKS, and Nasdem Party and where the pair is able to defeat another candidate pair in the Capital of Riau Province, Pekanbaru City. The couple's success is the result of the political marketing of the couple in Pekanbaru City.The theoretical concept used according to Firmanzah is Marketing Mix which includes 4P (Product, Promotion, Price, and Place). This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City by using descriptive qualitative methods, collecting data through observation and interviews with informants concerned with the research.The results showed that Syamsuar-Edy Natar had segmented targeted voters as a political target in the city of Pekanbaru divided into four groups, namely (1) rational voter groups whose political choices were influenced by performance, vision-mission and work programs as well as the competency or personal qualities of the candidates ; (2) sociological voter groups whose political choices are influenced by religion, regional origin and candidate ethnicity; (3) psychological voter groups whose political choices are influenced by the candidate's personal character, gender and age of the candidate; and (4) floating voter groups which are beginner voters and millennial groups. Syamsuar-Edy Natar's political position in gaining the sympathy of the people of Pekanbaru city is influenced by personal branding in the form of achievement traces achieved by Syamsuar-Edy Natar before, personal character as a person who is religious, religious, honest and intelligent. In addition, Syamsuar-Edy Natar's political positioning is also influenced by the political products that he offers directly in the campaign as well as through political promotion and information dissemination, where the political product is in accordance with what is needed by the people of Pekanbaru. Abstract

The lack of order and compliance of motorcycle riders caused many traffic violations. Starting from violations of road markings, traffic signs, breaking into APILLs and other violations become things that can be seen every day. Of course this is influenced by various factors. This study aims to find out what factors influence traffic violations and how the relationship between education, employment and income to the level of violations of traffic rules. This research is a inferensial quantitative study, by using a nonprobability sampling technique and the research sample is determined by using quota and incidental technique. Respondents in this study is 50 motorbike riders in the Bangkinang city. Data in this study were taken using a questionnaire. Questionnaire data in the form of ordinal data and analyzed using descriptive statistics, crosstabulation, and Spearman rank nonparametric statistical tests, to see the relationship between education, employment and income to the level of traffic violations. then to look at factors of violation of data traffic taken with a questionnaire with descriptive analysis. This study found a relationship between education and the level of violations negatively correlated, which means higher levels of education tend to have low levels of violations. Between the level of violation and occupation has a negative correlation which means that respondents who have good jobs tend to commit fewer violations. Whereas the relationship between income and the level of violation is negatively correlated. respondents with high incomes commit fewer traffic violations. While the factors that drive the level of traffic violations are influenced by Indiscipline factor (indiscipline factor), Ignorance / forget factor, Ignorance factor (ignorance factor), Negligence factor, and Road infrastructure facilities. The highest factor affecting traffic violations in the city is negligence of motorcycle riders.Keywords: Abuse, Motorcycle, Traffic

Abstract

Different physical features for people with physical disabilities from normal people in general make a person with physical disabilities a minority. Even so, however, women with disabilities still need to be confident in general to be able to live a life without being dependent on others. The question in this study is How do women with disabilities adapt in efforts to be independent in the city of Pekanbaru and what the types of independence of women with disabilities are.The goal of this research is to find out how the adaptation of women with disabilities in efforts to be independent as well as identify the types of independence of women with physical disabilities. Survey research was the technique used to determine the sources used. On the background of these conditions, 7 informants were identified as subjects of research on the independence of women with disabilities in Pekanbaru Area. The theory used in this analysis is the theory of adaptation by Robbert K. Merton and the theory of Independence by Havighurst. The results of this study are that like normal humans in general, women with disabilities still have to adapt to the goals and methods that have been set to achieve independence so that they do not depend on the people around them. Starting from adaptation to physical conditions, with their social environment and values and habits. Until the last adaptation, namely rebellion due to disagreeing with predetermined goals and methods. Meanwhile, the independence of women with disabilities is described by the ability to accept conditions, be able to interact and work according to ability as a sense of responsibility and are able to make decisions and be responsible for the decisions that have been taken. Keywords: Adaptation, Independence, Women with Disabilities
