Abstract

Online games are digital games that require an internet network to access them, one of which is Defense of The Ancients 2 or commonly known as Dota 2, published by Steam Valve. Freedom in the communication facilities provided in the Dota 2 online game sometimes has a negative impact if used by irresponsible players, these communication facilities can be misused to say bad things to opponents and friends playing in online games. One example of negative actions that arise from communication facilities in online games is trash talk, namely efforts to brag, provoke, intimidate, or mentally knock opponents through verbal words or non-verbal symbols. Based on the S-R (Stimulus-Response) theory, which is a theory where communication is an action-reaction process. That is, this theory assumes that verbal words, non-verbal cues, certain symbols will stimulate others to respond in certain ways, one of which is aggressiveness, generally associated with violent or aggressive behavior (verbal and physical) such as quarrel, contention, fighting, vandalism and abuse. The purpose of this research is to see whether or not the influence of Trash-talking Behavior in Dota 2 Online Game on Gamers in Versus CyberSport Pekanbaru.               The study used explanation quantitative methods. The data was collected by using questionnaires and documentation. The population of the study was gamers at Versus CyberSport Pekanbaru, amounting to 5,370 people. In determining the size of the sample, slovin formula was applied and resulted in 100 samples. The Simple Random Sampling technique was used to select the respondents. To analyze the association between the variables, the researcher applied simple linear regression analysis by using statistical software, statistic product and service solution (SPSS) Windows version 26.               Based on the simple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of the regression was Y = 15.383 + 0,423X with significance level of 0,00 smaller than  = 0,05. The determination test resulted in 11,9% this means that there is a very weak influence between trash-talking behavior in the online game Dota 2 on the aggressiveness of gamers in versus cybersport Pekanbaru and the remaining 88.1% is influenced by other factors outside of this study.

Abstract

The Adipura Program is contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia No. 6 of 2014 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of the Adipura Program in Chapter 1 General Provisions Article 1 that the Adipura Program is a national work of the Ministry of Environment to create an environmentally sound city towards sustainable development.This study aims to determine the Collaboration of the Lingga Regency Government in winning the 2018 Adipura Award Cup, and also to find out the supporting factors for the Lingga Regency Government in winning the 2018 Adipura Award Cup. Meanwhile, the location of this research was conducted in Lingga Regency, precisely at the Environmental Service Lingga Regency. This research uses qualitative research methods.The results of this study are collaboration in protecting the environment or Adipura activities between the Environmental Service and the community and the private sector have been optimally implemented, this is indicated by the presence of face-to-face dialogue, trust between stakeholders who are related to one another. And in terms of commitment of the parties involved, each of them has gone well. As for the supporting factors consist of two, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors, namely the support from agencies in Lingga Regency, and support from parties such as the Police, TNI, Satpol PP, and Damkar. Meanwhile, the external factor is the existence of good collaboration with the public and the private sector.Keywords: Collaboration, Awards, Adipura.

Abstract

Grand Suka Hotel Pekanbaru is one of the 3 (three) star hotels in Pekanbaru and is located on Jl. Soekarno Hatta Kav.148 Pekanbaru, Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Promotion Implementation and Corporate Image (Case Study at Grand Suka Hotel Pekanbaru). The population in this study were all consumers who purchased rooms at Grand Suka Hotel Pekanbaru in the last years, 2019. The sampling technique used the slovin test with the chance sampling method and obtained a sample of 100 respondents. In this research, the method used is descriptive quantitative analysis with SPSS program. Data processing using IBM SPSS 23 statistics. The results of this study indicate that the results of the first t test hypothesis testing, the implementation of promotions on consumer interest is t count (3.775) > t table (1.6605), meaning that the implementation of promotions has a significant effect on consumer interest. Second, the company's image on consumer interest is t count (4,403) > t table (1,6605) meaning that company image has a significant effect on consumer interest. The results of the f test Promotion and company image have a significant effect on consumer interest, namely f count (12.009) > F_table (3.09).Keywords: Implementation of Promotion, Company Image, Consumer Interests

Abstract

Simple Flats Rental (Rusunawa) is a program that aims to ensure the fulfillment of the need for a decent and affordable place to live, especially for low-income people (MBR) in a comfortable, healthy and safe environment. The problem in this study is the lack of optimal management of Simple Rent Flats (Rusunawa) Pekanbaru City.            This study aims to find out how Government Management in The Management of Simple RentEd Flats (Rusunawa) in Pekanbaru City, and to know the factors that affect Government Management In The Management of Simple Rental Flats (Rusunawa) in Pekanbaru City both internal and external factors. The research approach used is qualitative approach and this type of research is descriptive. The location of this research was conducted at the Public Housing Office and Pekanbaru City Residential Area, the collection technique was conducted with interviews and documentation.            The result of this study is that first, Local Government Management in The Management of Simple Rented Flats (Rusunawa) In Pekanbaru City in 2018-2018 has been done with less than optimal, where in running management related to the management of rusunawa has not shown the stage of success. Second, the factors that affect the management of Simple Rent Flats (Rusunawa) in Pekanbaru City are the enforcement of sanctions against residents who do not pay rent, lack of maintenance rusunawa, inadequate transportation facilities, and low public interest to inhabit rusunawa.   Keywords: Government Management, Management, Simple Flats Rental (RUSUNAWA)

Abstract

n 2019, forest and land fires occurred in Riau Province according to data from the Sipongi - Karhutla Monitoring System as many as 90,550.00 hectares of burned land area. Forest and land fires do not only occur once, but occur every year in Riau Province, this indicates that the Riau Provincial Government and stakeholders have not succeeded in controlling forest and land fires. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of coordination between the Riau Provincial Government and Stakeholders in tackling forest and land fires in Riau Province in 2019 and to determine the factors that hinder coordination in tackling forest and land fires in Riau Province in 2019. This study uses an approach qualitative with descriptive method. In collecting data, the author uses interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study are . to tackle forest and land fires in Riau Province The coordination carried out by the BPBD of Riau Province with stakeholders has not fully worked out, the lack of cooperation and the slow pace of prevention has caused forest and land fires to still occur. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of coordination between the Riau Provincial Government and Stakeholders in tackling forest and land fires in Riau Province in 2019 were internal and external constraints. Internal constraints in the form of lack of communication are still the lack of cooperation due to lack of preparation such as planning to prevent forest and land fires from occurring, while external obstacles include: preparedness constraints such as limited tools and lack of public knowledge. Abstract

Job training ia a program carried out at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office in collaboration with private training institutions. The phenomenon that occurs is the limited number of Human Resources at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office, the inadequate time for the implementation of the training held at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office, and the demands of the world of work which generally prioritize experience in a field of work, while most job seekers do not have work experience yet, with job training it is hoped that it can provide experience and knowledge and skills to training participants. The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of job training on the competence of participants at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office. Where the population is 160 job training participants in 2018. The sample used in this study was 61 people. Job training has a significant effect on job competence  at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office with the level of closeness of the relationship being in the strong category. Where the result of the correlation test obtained the probability figure of 0.000. Where 0.000 is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) then H0 is rejected, which means that there is a significant relationship between job training and job competence. The resulting correlation coefficient is 0.549. Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and (H0) is rejected. Keywords : Training and Competency

Abstract

Gravediggers at the Tampan District Public Cemetery Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted at the Public Cemetery in Tampan District Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study was to determine the social capital of gravediggers by using qualitative descriptive research methods and using data collection techniques through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. Retrieval of informants using purposive sampling technique, provided that informants are based on predetermined characteristics. The number of informants in this study were four gravediggers with the status of casual daily laborers at the Tampan District Public Cemetery. The results obtained are that the gravedigger social capital includes three elements, namely social networks, beliefs and norms. These three elements are interrelated by strengthening each other. With the existence of social capital, gravediggers can maintain harmony with one another, cooperate well and help each other in the economic and work fields.  Keywords: Gravedinggers,  Sosial capital

Abstract

Intrinsically, the empowerment of society is not a new thing. This attempt to intensify the society has been happening due to the desire and the effort from the regional government to develop its region to be developed in a long term. In this case, the phenomenon that is found in Hangtuah village is a society empowerment engaged in the field of catfish cultivation and how big is the opportunity that could possibly be expanded on catfish cultivation. In a research, there are a lot of approach that could be used, this research uses qualitative research method with the approach of “purposive sampling”, aiming to understand and depict certain societal phenomenons and tend to analyze it based on an obtained data. Basically, there has already been a lot of empowerment that is developed according to the stages listed on the theory of Robert K. Merton, but then again it is needed more support in the form of attendant and training for the businessmen, material form of aid (development supporting tools or material), so that it could constantly maximize all the existing potential from the catfish cultivation itself.Keywords: empowerment society, catfish cultivation, adaptation typology

Abstract

Autism is a developmental disorder that involves cognitive, communication and social interaction problems. The term autism until now there are still many people who do not know well what is meant by people with autism, so that people with autism are often considered to have no abilities. To get rid of this stigma, autistic children are sent to special schools. The interaction carried out at the school is one of the processes of interaction between teachers and autistic students to meet the needs of these students. The purpose of this study was to see how the interaction between teachers and autistic students in applying the messages the teacher gave to these autistic students.This study used qualitative research methods. This research was conducted at the Panam Mulia Special School, Pekanbaru. The selection of informants was carried out using a purposive technique. Data collection techniques consisted of observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis according to Huberman and Miles. For technique checking the validity of the data used in this study are participation extension and triangulation.The results of the study found that instructional communication between teachers and autistic students in the learning process was quite effective, at the time of the learning process teachers used nonverbal language more than their verbal language. The methods used in teaching are also quite effective. Then there are three types of obstacles, namely at the source, namely from the communicator, such as the use of complex language, obstacles in the channel, namely damaged equipment and unsupportive weather so that the learning atmosphere is disturbed. Instructional communication by the teacher has a positive impact on the social development of autistic students. Keywords: Komunikasi instruksional, Guru, Autis

Abstract

This research was conducted in the Waterfall Village, Bandar Petalangan District, Pelalawan Regency. This study aims to determine the procedures, community views as well as developments and changes that occur in the tradition of giving customary money to Petalangan tribal marriages. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with 5 subjects consisting of 3 key informants and 2 subjects. For data collection in this study using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Petalangan is an indigenous Riau Malay tribe who live in Pelalawan Regency. The Petalangan community has a tradition in marriage, one of which is the tradition of giving customary money. The tradition of giving customary money to the marriage of the Petalangan Malay community is a tradition that has existed from generation to generation from previous ancestors. Customary money is the delivery money that must be paid by the prospective groom to the prospective bride for spending the needs of the wedding party. This tradition has undergone several changes such as; changes to the nominal value of customary money as well as the procedure for determining it. This change in tradition has reaped the pros and cons of several communities and traditional leaders. The Petalangan community considers that customary money is a condition for a wedding party. If there are relatives or neighbors who will carry out the marriage, the first thing to ask is, how much is the customary money. If they feel that the amount of customary money does not match the social status of the prospective bride 's family, then the social sanction is to become a matter of public gossip. Keywords: Petalangan, Customary Money, Social Sanctions, Marriage
