Abstract

Activities in the tourism sector are complex activities covering various sectors and forms of activity that have dynamic elements and develop according to the times. Lake Raja is one in Indragiri Hulu Regency which is a natural panorama that has the potential to be developed into a tourism object. However, this tourist attraction looks less than optimally managed, such as scattered garbage and poor road access and destroying the beauty of the natural panorama.The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of the tasks of the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office in the Development of Raja Lake Tourism Objects in Indragiri Hulu Regency. And to find out the inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Tasks of the Tourism Office in the Development of Raja Lake Tourism Objects in Indragiri Hulu Regency?The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. Data obtained directly from informants using interviews and other data to support research. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. This study uses a descriptive analysis technique. After the data is collected completely and thoroughly.Based on the results of the research that the author did, the development of the Raja Lake tourist attraction carried out by the agency was seen from a fairly diverse tourist attraction, which was a tourist attraction in the form of a saung that resembled a traditional house and the agency built supporting facilities and infrastructure so that visitors felt comfortable and returned. again visited the Lake Raja tourist attraction, but in this modernization era the department did not develop enough in the field of promotion and marketing through social media. The obstacles experienced by the Department of Tourism and Culture of Inhu Regency in developing the Lake Raja tourist attraction are the lack of Human Resources, low awareness of the local community, lack of careful planning in planning development.  Keywords: Analysis, Tasks, Tourism Object Development

Abstract

This study focuses on Japanese investment efforts in the transportation infrastructure sector in Indonesia, one of which is the construction of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). After the defeat of Japan in the seizure of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train contract by China in 2015, the railway sector became a prestigious project and made the rivalry between Japan and China in the struggle for various infrastructure projects in Indonesia even stronger. However, Japan has actually secured several railway projects such as the Jakarta-Surabaya Semi-fast Train and MRT Jakarta Phases 1 and 2.This study aims to find out how Japan's steps in realizing its investment in the construction of the Jakarta MRT. This research is analyzed through the perspective of liberalism which is studied more deeply using the theory of international cooperation and the level of analysis of the nation state. This study also uses descriptive research methods and secondary research data obtained from data collection techniques by literature study where data comes from official documents, a number of journals and news related to research.The results of this study indicate that the realization of Japanese investment in the construction of the Jakarta MRT in Indonesia, which consists of phase 1 and phase 2. The realization of this development investment can take place quite optimally, with several indicators such as phase 1 which has been operating and phase 2 which is under construction, the funding process is transparent and brings positive impacts such as employment, increased mobility and also has an impact on the environment. Keywords: JICA, Investment, Infrastructure, Transportation, MRT.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of the Department of Cooperatives and MSME and to determine the factors that hinder the strategy of the Department of Cooperatives and MSME in empowering micro, small and medium enterprises in Pekanbaru City. This research is descriptive, describing the reality correctly regarding the strategy of the Department of Cooperatives and MSME in empowering micro, small and medium enterprises in the city of Pekanbaru. Qualitative research aims to reveal certain social situations by describing the true reality. The results of this study are the strategy of the Department of Cooperatives and MSME in empowering micro, small and medium enterprises in the city of Pekanbaru which is applied by the Department of Cooperatives and MSME is strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. In the formulation of this strategy, the Cooperatives and MSME Office has not yet maximized the formulation of new strategic initiatives, the formulation of strategies tends to be almost the same as the previous period. The implementation of the strategy has not yet been carried out as planned. Strategy evaluation of the lack of ability of the Pekanbaru City Cooperatives and MSME Office in implementing the strategic initiatives that have been formulated. The factors that hinder the strategy of the Department of Cooperatives and MSME in empowering micro, small and medium enterprises in Pekanbaru City are the limited amount of business capital, limited human resources, limited access to capital. Keywords: Strategy, Empowerment, MSME

Abstract

The mobile community okay service (LOMAK) is a sub-district integrated administration service that is deployed to serve administration in the midst of community settlements. LOMAK's innovation is contained in the Decree of the Rumbai Sub-district of Pekanbaru City Number: Kpts/21.1/KR/VII/2019 concerning the Innovation of the Mobile Community Okay Service (LOMAK). The word LOMAK in Malay is usually interpreted as delicious, the Rumbai sub-district government hopes that this innovation is as the name suggests, good for the community and good for the government. Rumbai District. The purpose of this study is to find out how to innovate public services through the mobile community okay service and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the success of mobile community okay service innovation. This study uses a purposive sampling technique with qualitative research using a descriptive approach and the required data, both primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, are then analyzed based on the research problem. The results of this study indicate that: first, the innovation of public services through the mobile community okay service in the Rumbai sub-district, Pekanbaru city has not run optimally. Second, the factors that support the success of mobile community service innovation are motivation and increased community participation. The inhibiting factors are the Covid-19 pandemic, and the change in the name and number of villages in the West Rumbai sub-district.  Keywords :Innovation, Public Service

Abstract

This study discusses “The Role of The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in The Human Rights Struggle of The LGBT Community in Indonesia”. Many LGBT people in Indonesia experience violence, discrimination and human rights violations, because there are no Indonesian Government regulations that provide rights to security and the right to freedom of assembly and association for LGBT people. As a result this problem, UNDP provides assistance to the LGBT community in Indonesia.            The method use in this study is qualitative explanative. This study uses secondary data using libray research. This study uses the Perspective of Pluralism by Paul R, Viotti and Mark V. Kauppi, Level Analysis of Group Behaviour and Theories of International Organization by J. Clive and Role Theory by Samuel J Barkin.            The result of this research is the role of the UNDP in fighting for the LGBT community in Indonesia such as advocacy, dialogue, providing understanding, campaigning and providing assistance to the LGBT community in Indonesia. UNDP fights for human rights by creating the "Being LGBT in Asia" program and providing financial assistance to the LGBT community in Indonesia. Keywords : LGBT, Pluralism, Human Right, UNDP, Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

The effect of the arms embargo imposed by the US on Indonesia has reduced the deterrence of the Indonesian military force and coupled with the old defense equipment, it is not commensurate with the area that must be guarded. Therefore, Indonesia needs cooperation partners to increase its military strength and to modernize defense equipment. Ukraine was chosen as a cooperation partner in the defense sector because the defense equipment offered is in accordance with Indonesia's geography and is free of embargoes. This research will examine what interests Indonesia wants to achieve through this cooperation. The theory used in this research is K.J Holsti International Cooperation Theory with the concept of national interest by Hans Morgenthau. The data used is secondary data from books, journals, mass media and internet websites. The research method uses library research by analyzing data from the sources listed. The results of this study indicate that Indonesia's interests in cooperation in the defense sector with Ukraine include economic interests by expanding the market to Eastern Europe, defense interests, and political interests. Through this cooperation, Indonesia's interests are achieved in fulfilling its defense capacity and capability to ward off unpredictable threats by purchasing combat vehicles from Ukraine to improve the quality of the TNI's defense equipment. Keywords: military, national interest, defense equipment, defense cooperation.

Abstract

This study intends to analyze Indonesia’s strategy to increase exports of halal trading activities of halal product in Organisation of Islamic Cooperation market. The existence of human resource factors and the opportunity for Indonesia to market halal-labeled product in global market by carrying out the export of halal products. The Indonesian Government carries out a strategy to increase halal products marketed in international market especially OIC.In this study, the authors used library research and qualitative research methods. The analysis in this study uses the level of analysis of nation state, the concept of national interest, using the theory of international trade and competitive advantage. The use of this theory is because the research discusses Indonesia’s economic trade cooperation with the uniqueness of goods and focus of the target market. The perspective in this study uses the perpective of mercantilism.The result of this research is export of Indonesian halal products is cooperative activity in the economic sector and is expected to provide benefits for Indonesia through various schemes implemented. Abstract

The streets in Siak Regency are currently quite a lot of people admire. A lot of damage to a road segment, ranging from damage in the form of cracks, bumps, potholes and even a lot of heaps of gravel and dirt roads. And one of them is the Pelimauan road which is the main road that connects the Teluk Merempan villages with Merempan Hilir with a length of 2.699 km with a construction of 540 m of gravel pavement, 1.160 m of peat or soft soil roads and 999 m of sand roads. With the condition of the road when it rains, the condition will become very slippery and flooded with water so that it can endanger motorists who cross the road.This study aims to see how the budget from the Department of Public Works, Spatial Planning, Public Housing and Settlement Areas in the construction of the Pemlimauan road infrastructure in Teluk Merempan Village, Merempan District, Siak Regency in 2020. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Then the data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique is done by collecting information through interviews, data reduction and data presentation.The results of the study found that in improving the Pemlimauan Teluk Merempan Village Road in 2020. With the theory of Thompson and McEwen (2006) it is known that bargaining, co-optation and coalition factors are the result of "musrembang" and "recess" to formulate 2020 APBD budget policies that will went well and gave birth to a solution due to limited APBD funds. The factors that hinder the rapid realization of the Pelimaanu road improvement program in Teluk Merempam Village are limited budget, poor communication and public awareness of infrastructure maintenance. Keywords: Budget Politics, Development, Infrastructure and Roads

Abstract

This research was conducted at the RS Jiwa Tampan Pekanbaru, which is located on Jalan HR Soebrantas KM 12.5 Pekanbaru. The purpose of the study was to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation and work environment on job satisfaction partially and simultaneously. The research method used is descriptive quantitative analysis obtained from the results of questionnaires distributed to 58 respondents at the Tampan Psychiatric Hospital Pekanbaru, which is then processed with the SPSS program by conducting validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, analysis of determination (R2) and test the hypothesis by testing t (partial) and F (simultaneous). The tests carried out showed that work motivation had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, the work environment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, then work motivation and work environment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at the RS Jiwa Tampan Pekanbaru. Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Environment, Job Satisfaction
