Abstract

Correctional is an activity to provide guidance to Prisoners based on the system, institution and method of coaching which is the final part of the criminal justice system in the criminal justice system. Detention Center is a place for prisoners to carry out rehabilitation or a place for prisoners to serve their sentences. Accountability is the responsibility of the management or trustee to the trustee for the management of the resources entrusted to him either vertically or horizontally. The one who carries out the mandate or becomes the executor is the implementor. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Implementors of Correctional Policy Implementors are accountable and to find out what are the inhibiting factors in the Accountability of the Correctional Policy Implementors. The theory used is the theory of Janet V Denhardt and Robert B. Denhardt, that Public Service Accountability must be carried out based on the principles: Serving citizens, Meeting all public needs, Citizenship values above entrepreneurial values, Thinking strategically and acting democratically, It must be understood that accountability in the administration of public services cannot be simplified, Serve rather than direct, Assess humanity not only productivity. This study uses a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach and the required data, both primary and secondary data, were obtained by means of observation, interviews and documentation, for further selection of informants was carried out by purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The results of this study indicate that: first, the Accountability of Correctional Policy Implementors at the Class I Rutan Pekanbaru is not yet accountable because there are still violations committed by the Rutan and have not fulfilled the seven principles/indicators that the authors use such as serving citizens, fulfilling all public needs, and values. citizenship above the entrepreneurial value. Second, the inhibiting factors are overcapacity, the place in charge of prisoners who are far away and the behavior of the implementor.  Keywords : Accountability, Implementor, Correctional policy

Abstract

During the pandemic, the number of victims of violence against children is still high. And if this continues, of course it will damage the future of Indonesia. The Indonesian people are actually aware that children are the next generation of the nation and also as the regeneration of society. It is very sad to see parents not providing protection to their children. Children are beaten, abandoned, and so on. Are parents not aware that it violates human rights? This paper aims to conduct an in-depth assessment and critique of the factors that cause violence against children and to analyze the forms of protection provided to children as victims of violence in the city of Pekanbaru. This research is a study that uses a qualitative methodology. This research is descriptive, describing the reality correctly regarding the protection of child victims of violence in the city of Pekanbaru. Qualitative research aims to reveal certain social situations by describing the true reality. The results of this study are the protection of child victims of violence carried out by the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in Pekanbaru City has not been maximized. This is caused by several factors, namely the lack of environmental awareness and limited human resources. Keywords: Protection, Supervision

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the activities and functions of the sewing joint business group at Posdaya Mandiri Riau Unity. To obtain the results of the study, the researcher used descriptive quantitative methods, which involved the activities and functions of the sewing joint business group (KUB) at Posdaya Mandiri Riau Unity which would then be analyzed using structural functional theory. The formulation of the problem in this study (1) How is the activity of KUB sewing at the independent Riau Unit Posdaya in Pekanbaru City? (2) What is the function of the KUB in empowering members of the sewing community at the independent Riau Unit Posdaya in Pekanbaru City?. Data collection techniques in this study were in the form of questionnaires, and documentation. The population and samples using the saturated sample technique or census by making all the population as samples with the total population in this study as many as 72 members of the Kub Sewing Posdaya Mandiri Riau Unity. And the results of this study that from data analysis it is known that the sewing cub activities from socialization, training, and sewing are in the medium category, as weell as functions run by members in the form of manifest functions and latent functions are in the medium category. Keywords: Activities, KUB, Posdaya Mandiri Riau Bersatu

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of human resource management in the development and progress of the company. In a company, good human resource management is one way to increase employee productivity. To produce high work productivity, we need the best workforce to anticipate the opportunities and challenges of an increasingly competitive business environment. This research was conducted at Hotel Mona Plaza Pekanbaru, Jalan HR. Soebrantas, KM.18, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of work productivity of employees at Hotel Mona Plaza Pekanbaru. The sample of this study was taken as many as 31 respondents who are all employees of the Hotel Mona Plaza Pekanbaru, using the total sampling method. In this research, the method used is descriptive and quantitative. The data obtained from the results of interviews and the distribution of questionnaires/questionnaires were then statistically tested through the SPSS program. The analytical method used in this research is simple and multiple regression analysis, and through validity and reliability tests. In this study the results obtained are that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity and the work environment and work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity at Mona Plaza Hotel Pekanbaru. Abstract

The function of the government is to provide guidance and supervision of children's toy products, in this case the government is responsible for the implementation of consumer protection which ensures that the rights of consumers and business actors are obtained as well as the implementation of the obligations of consumers and business actors. Based on the function of the government as a supervisor carried out by the Industry and Trade Office of the Riau Islands Province as a supervisor in the field of SNI for children's toys, it is necessary to create a system that is able to provide protection to the community. In this case, the Government has responsibility for the security and safety of its citizens who are required to go directly to monitor the nets in order to avoid losses to the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the supervision of the circulation of children's toys without Indonesian National Standards carried out by the government in this case the Industry and Trade Office of the Riau Islands Province and the inhibiting factors for the Supervision of the Industry and Trade Office of the Riau Islands Province against the circulation of children's toys that do not have Indonesian national standards in Indonesia. Tanjungpinang City in 2018. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results of this study are that there are still some business actors who sell children's toys without Indonesian National Standards, this shows the weak supervision of the Industry and Trade Office of the Riau Islands Province due to the lack of supervisory officers for circulating goods and services and the low capacity of national supporting institutions and the lack of frequency of supervision of toys. non-sni child. Keywords: Supervision, Cyclical Children Toys, Indonesia

Abstract

This study analyses Indonesia's cooperation in importing cotton from the United States in 2017-2020. Indonesia cooperates with the United States in Cotton Imports where the United States is the main destination country to meet Indonesia's domestic Cotton Demand. This study uses a liberalism perspective where international relations are more cooperative than conflictual and the government plays a role in managing the international economy. This study was also analyzed using the theory of International Cooperation. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. This data collection uses literature studies and various literatures that refer to books, journals, theses and websites on the Internet.This study shows the results of Indonesia's cooperation with the United States in 2017-2020. Indonesia's cooperation in Importing Cotton from the United States provides Indonesia with the opportunity to meet the large demand for cotton in the country, where the value of cotton imports by Indonesia from the United States was in 2017 as much as 289.050,000/kg, in 2018 it was 339,012,000/kg, in 2019 as many as 243,404,000/kg and in 2020 as many as 295,307,000/kg.The cooperation carried out by Indonesia and the United States Was first based on an approach, then continued with negotiations/discussion processes and after all of this was carried out, an agreement was created to establish cooperation between the two countries. keywords: International cooperation theory, Import of cotton, Liberalism, demand for supply.

Abstract

This research is entitled Guest Assessment of Cake Quality at The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this study is how guests evaluate the quality of the cake at The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru and what are the obstacles in producing quality cake pastry at The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the guest's assessment of the quality of the cake at The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru and the constraints in producing a quality pastry cake at The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru. The method used is quantitative with descriptive analysis, data collection instruments used in this study were questionnaires and interviews. The population in this study were guests who enjoyed food at The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru, amounting to 840 people with a research sample of 89 people. The results of the study concluded that the guest's assessment of the quality of the cake at The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru was "high" with a percentage of 51.69% and the obstacles in producing quality pastry cakes were in the form of machine constraints, energy constraints and cake quality constraints due to the lack of cake mixing process is not good.   Keywords: Rating, Guest, quality of cake

Abstract

This research discuss about Indonesia’s interests in strengthening counter terrorism cooperation relations with the United States of America in effort to overcome the terrorism threat in Indonesia. Terrorism is the enemy of all nations and transnational in nature thus there is a need for various cooperation to eradicate it. The terrorism activity that have appeared both internationally and nationally throughout 2014 – 2018 have given quite a significant effect to Indonesia’s security stability. One of the nation that Indonesia have asked to cooperate in counter terrorism is the United States of America. Previous counter terrorism cooperation have convinced both nation to further strengthen this relation.            The perspective used in this research is the Realism perspective based on the view that international cooperation is regarded as important if it’s goal is supporting the nation to achieve it’s interest. The theory used is the security theory. The focus of this research is to study Indonesia’s interest within the discourse of international terrorism. The data of this research is taken from books, journal articles, government documents, and websites.Indonesia in conducting counter terrorism cooperation strengthening with the United States of America to increase Indonesia’s security capability in overcoming terrorism. This was later proven by the increase in military assistance, training, and funding by the United State to Indonesia.Keywords: cooperation strengthening, counter terrorism, military, security

Abstract

Management is a process that consists of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring, in which each field uses science and art on a regular basis in order to be able to achieve certain predetermined goals. This research was conducted by the author in Prapat Tunggal Beach, Bengkalis Regency. This research was conducted by the author with the aim of knowing the general description of the management of facilities at the Prapat Tunggal Beach Tourism Object and to determine the management of the facilities at the Prapat Tunggal Beach Tourism Object, Bengkalis Regency. The author uses qualitative methods in this study to get a picture of what happened in the Prapat Tunggal Beach Tourism Object, Bengkalis Regency. Researchers explain the actual conditions and conditions based on data and information in the field. Data collection techniques that researchers use in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research that has been done on the Prapat Tunggal Beach Tourism Object, the management of the facilities at the Prapat Tunggal Beach Tourism Object until now has not been going well because many facilities are still poorly maintained.Keywords: Management, Facility and Prapat Tunggal Beach.

Abstract

This study discusses the roles of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) through sub-programme 4 : Drugs and Health in addressing drug abuse in Myanmar. Myanmar is the world’s second-largest producer of drugs with worrying cases of drug abuse followed by the government’s ineffective efforts in addressing the issue. Therefore, UNODC cooperates with the Government of Myanmar by carrying out its roles and following the mandate given to support member states in their efforts to address drug use by implementing scientific evidence-based program, using public health approach while fully respecting all human rights. This study aims to answer the research issues regarding the role of UNODC through sub-program 4 : Drugs and Health in addressing drug abuse in Myanmar.This research uses a qualitative method, Neo-liberalism Institutionalism approach, and theory of International Organization Roles with International System as the level of analysis. To analyse this case, the author collects data from books, journals, websites, and annual reports of UNODC. The findings of this study resulted in several things namely that UNODC have roles as instrument, arena and independent actors. UNODC’s roles as an instrument in Myanmar includes drug prevention, development of national drug policy, development of community-based service to raise awareness from the community, assisting in alternative development to help opium farmers escape the poverty trap of engaging in illicit crops and the risk of drug use, as an arena through a number of discussion and consultation and lastly, making its own decision in carrying out its activities in Myanmar as an independent actor.
