Abstract

Program is one means of communication to influence the audience. The number of program aired on television show that make the audience think watching what message content delivered in each program of the event. Overseas program Horas in a Batak music program, the program is packed with interesting events that can affect the audience and making the changes. This study aims to determine public opinion on the Batak in Rantau Horas Program on Rtv in the Village District of Tanjung Rhu Fifty Pekanbaru City and the factors that Influence the formation of public opinion Village Subdisrict Tanjung Rhu Fifty Pekanbaru City.This study uses descriptive qualitative data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and dokumentansi. The data obtained is then processed to be reduced, resulting presented to a general conclusion. Informants in this study amounted to 12 based on snowball sampling method that researchers use. While for checking the validity of the data the researcher used triangulation techniques and extension participation.The results showed that public opinion Batak village of Tanjung Rhu Fifty Pekanbaru City District of the program event at Rantau Horas is very interesting, because it has educational value that can increase knowledge and positive learning to watch. Factors that influence the formation of public opinion Batak, because that show is very entertaining program and describe social reality in the city of Pekanbaru.Keywords: Public Opinion, Horas di Rantau, Program Events

Abstract

There are some strategies should be considered and done by sellers to maintain a sale business such as customer satisfaction strategy, marketplace strategy, product strategy, price strategy, distribution strategy and marketing strategy in competition world. These strategies are done by sellers to maintain their stall business to increase their income. Yet the arguments have to be proven through a research to get an accurate answer. The questions of the research are 1) what kinds charakteristik by the sellers at the residence of PT Astra Agro Lestari and 2) how is the strategy implemented by the owners of stall around the residence of PT Astra Agro Lestari which is in desa Pangkalan Pisang, kecamatan Koto Gasib kabupaten Siak to keep selling. The population of the research is the sellers who sell at employee residence area of PT Astra Agro Lestari numbered 44 sellers. The technique of sampling used is purposive sampling with the sample is only 25 sellers who have sold for 5 years. The technique of collecting data is questionnaire. The data got of the research was descriptive quantitative. Generally, the result of the research found by the writer is there are some sellers who do not understand about strategies in selling, so it is expected to implement the strategies to maintain the selling business in gaining income and fulfilling family needs.Keywords : Seller, Strategy, Product

Abstract

The appearacnce of Hijabers Community makes a new happening clothing trend among vailed women. The existance of Hijabers Community may change the people perspective of veil from not stylish to the fashionable and up to date clothing. Proved community members who joined in the Hijabers Community Pekanbaru continue to increase. The aim of this recears is to know the proccess of perssuasive communication Hijabers Community Pekanbaru, techniques used Hijabers Community Pekanbaru, and media used by the Hijabers Community Pekanbaru to recruit the veiled women in Pekanbaru.This research used qualitative method with descriptive approach. The data collected by doing observation to participants, interview, and documentation. There are 8 participants taken by purposive technique for this research. This research used the interactive data analysis from Miles and Hubermen by using examination of validity technique thorough the extension of membership and triangulation.The result of research shows persuasive communication of Hijabers Community Pekanbaru in recruiting veiled women is persuasive communication by sending mails thorough media to the veiled women, then continue with communication to the committee of community about agreement or rejection for joining the community. For persuasive communication, the Hijabers Community uses appearance technique, doing the comparison, asking and listening,the communication style and also build the credibility. Moreover, Hijabers Community Pekanbaru use social media and mass media for better and easier information sharing.Keywords: Persuasive Communication, Hijab, Community, Hijabers.

Abstract

This research do in the Bantayan Hilir village, Batu Hampar subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency and to purpose understand about ethnic Malayan wedding tradition until now, to understand what the change tradition in ethnic Malayan wedding tradition and what the factor cause of in ethnic Malayan wedding. The title is ”Change Ethnic Malayan Wedding Tradition in the Bantayan Hilir village, Batu Hampar , Rokan Hilir Regency”. Main problem in the research is how ethnic Malayan wedding tradition in Bantayan Hilir village until now, how the change type ethnic Malayan wedding tradition. Population in the research is husband/wife spouse from Bantayan Hilir Malayan marriage in 2009-2013. Removal sample with technic proporsionil random sampling. Total marriage population in 2009-2013 is 138 spouse, takeable 28 spouse sample represent of population. The method is descriptive quantitative with quantitative and qualitative analysis data. Technic aggregation data with observation and guided interview and data tabulation in type table. The general result say that ethnic Malayan wedding tradition implementation until now change experience with wedding tradition do concise, not like a yore, get obtain 75,0 % search self spouse, 35,7 % perform two tradition all at once, 50,0 % use modern tools, 28,6 % not use tools a yore, 92,9 % not perform ritually treaty, 96,4 % completely rent, 100,0 % final offer marriage in the house, 85,7 % use modern tools, 78,6 % doing seal Qur’an ceremony, 50,0 % not use deliver accompany ceremony, 78,6 % not use tradition, 92,9 % use pencak silat, 39,3 % doing by family, 71,4 % use titi kain ceremony, 39,3 % sit in state direct only, 53,6 % not use embroidery cloth, 96,4 % doing slice cake ceremony, 96,4 % not use repeatedly ceremony. Change type happen is big change to many people and small change to a little people. The change factor cause of formal education system factor progress is 46,4 %, self search materialism perspectiveis 60,7 %, have to much money, idealism perspective is 82,1 % use music orchestra and influence factor other society culture is 89,3 % follow modern.Key word: Change, Tradition, Ethnic Malayan Wedding

Abstract

This study will analyze the influence of feminism in Iceland’s foreign policy year 2008-2013. Feminism have influenced social and political life in Iceland, especially in gender equality. Gender equality is one of the Iceland’s government’s key emphases and it’s an important aspect of Iceland’s international work on human rights.This research will show that how external aspects can also affect in Iceland’s foreign policy. Especially in increase gender equality and women’s empowerment. There is five aspects that Iceland’s concerns are, like politic, economy, education, health, and security. These are including support some specific projects, funds and organisations. Feminism perspective, gender concept and foreign policy decision making theory are used to discuss this research.As for the method used in the study is qualitative research methods with explanation analysis methods. Data collection techniques are used library research techniques which utilizes secondary data obtaine d through library were abstracted from the literature such as books, journals, reports, documents and other materials that support this research.Feminism has give significant influence in Iceland’s foreign policy. Iceland has adopted The United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000) on women, peace and security through their Plan of Action and also Iceland has built Strategy for Iceland’s Development Cooperation 2011-2014 acording to United Nations Millenium Development Goals (MDG). Abstract

Circulation and abuse of drugs in Pekanbaru city show significant improvement. Based on data from the Drug Investigation Division Police Directorate Riau dan Resta Pekanbaru, cases of drug abuse in Pekanbaru city in 2011 there were 72 cases with 94 suspects, in 2012 there were 79 cases with 115 suspects, and in 2013 as of October there were 102 cases with 129 suspects. Formulation of the problem in this research is how to role model appropriate policies in combating drug abuse in Pekanbaru city, so the purpose of this research is to find a role model of appropriate policies in combating drug abuse in the city of Pekanbaru.This research is a qualitative research with deskriptif method. This research was done through observation, in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussion and documentation. Techniques of data analysis done by data reduction, organizing the data, and interpretation of data. The results of this research show that the efforts made by BNN Pekanbaru city of prevention, empowerment, and eradication have not been able to minimize of drug abuse cases in Pekanbaru city, although the value of the BNN gains of Pekanbaru city average in 2012 is 119% and in 2013 is 112,97%. So the role models offered to combat drug abuse is back to the Malay identity by combining the values of the indigenous Malay culture and religious values.Keywords: Role models, narcotics, policy

Abstract

Autism is a developmental disorder that is indicated by symptoms such as lack of communication skills, social interaction, cognitive function, behavior and sensory abilities that require special handling by autism in special schools. This study aims to determine the instructional communication methods used in Pekanbaru Independent School Children Foundation, knowing the media used in the classroom, and barriers to what happens in the learning process.This study uses qualitative research methods to the presentation of the descriptive analysis. The subjects were teachers, parents, and students with autism in Pekanbaru while the Independent Children's Foundation is a research object to the teacher instructional communication of children with autism in the Independent Children's Foundation Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. In reaching the validity of the data in this study, researchers used an extension of participation and triangulation.The results obtained indicate that the instructional methods used by teachers of children with autism in school autism Independent Children's Foundation is programmed using an instructional method, simulation method, and the method of demonstration. Instructional media were introduced to children with autism in the form of academic media and media sensory integration. Instructional communication barriers between children with autism and teachers include technical barriers and psychological barriers.Keywords : Children, Autistic, Instructional Communication , Foundation

Abstract

This research describes about effort of Indonesia to acquitted Indonesia labours who get death penalty in Saudi Arabia’s (2011-2013). There are some Indonesian labours that have been accused of committing a crime that drags them become a convict of the death penalty by a court of Saudi Arabia’s. There are three kind of the death penalty in Saudi Arabia’s, they are: Qishas, Rajam and Ta’zir. As for the allegations imposed on Indonesian labours that under sentence of death in Saudi Arabia’s are torture, murder, perform of magic and adultery.This research used the theory of diplomacy. As for the kind of diplomacy that used are bilateral diplomacy. Bilateral diplomacy is diplomacy carried out by between two countries. This research used nation-state analysis.This study applies qualitative research method with library. The data sources are from books, journal, and the internet.Finnaly, Indonesian government’s actions in providing protection for Indonesian labours who became convicted of the death penalty in 2011-2013 is considered to be the maximum. As for the efforts that has been made are: do moratorium policy, bilateral diplomacy, forming a special task force, appoint of retainer lawyer and assist in paying (diyat) to the families of victims. Those efforts can help the Indonesian labours who convicted of death penalty and get a lighter punishment like a forgiveness from the victim’s family or pay a fine.Keywords: Bilateral Diplomacy, Death Penalty, Effort, Indonesian Labours

Abstract

In 2013 Pekanbaru as the Capital City of Riau Province has electricity crisis. It caused powering outages to be trought byar pet until twelve hours in a day. UU No. 30 of 2009 Pasal 29 explained costumer deserve a good service and get good quality electric power continuously. PT.PLN (Persero) Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau that given a responsibility in provide electric power in Pekanbaru city said that condition is caused dry season and destruction one of power plants in Ombilin which become one of power plants in interconection system Riau province. The crises that happen for long time make all of society asking about PT.PLN (Persero) Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau performance in providing electric power in Riau province.The methode of this research is qualitative method that is not using numbers data but explanation that describe a situation, process, and particular condition. The techniques of data collection use documentation and interview technique.The result of the research describe the performance of PT.PLN (Persero) Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau is not good caused on of indicator performances is outcomes. Abstract

Indragiri Hilir is a regency which has waters, rivers, swamps, and generally the condition of it’s soil included peat moss. People who live in the area have a problem to get good and clean water condition, also depending with the water from rain to use in dailly activities. However when they are in dry season, they get more difficult for source of clean water. The necessity for clean water make Indragiri Hilir has many water depots as a consequences from increasing of people.The purpose of this research is to know controlling and checking realization for quality water and the factors that can affect Health Department’s effort in Tembilahan City.The Method is used in this research is : location is in Health Department of Indragiri Hilir, Jalan M. Boya No. 07 and refill water depots. Informers included The Chief of Environment Sanitation and staff in Health Problem Restraint Health Department Indragiri Hilir, officer in saniation of UPT Puskesmas Tembilahan City, included Refill Water Depots owners around it.The theory concept is used on this research is controlling and checking realization from Mannulang (2001:184) consists of determining technique and administration standard, do evaluation and scoring also act emendation. This research uses Qualitative Method with data assesment descriptively, in accumulation of data assesment the researcher uses interview sessions, observation, documentation and literatures.The result of this research is to show deficiency of controlling and checking realization Health Department Tembilahan City for clean water because The Implementation is not suitable with set standard, limitedness of humanity resources as sanitatior, facilities, fund, also awareness and knowledge from refill water depot owners can be included as the obstruction factors on realization.Keywords : checking, controlling, refill water depots
