Abstract

ABSTRACT This thesis discusses the application of the function of coalition political parties to the winning of candidate pairs in the 2020 Pilkada in Rokan Hulu Regency. This coalition party was formed in the candidate pair No. Order 2 Sukiman-Indra Gunawan. Within the coalition party there are six political parties with 26 out of 45 seats or 60% of the seats for members of the Rokan Hulu DPRD. With this, the 20% parliamentary seat threshold has been crossed with the supporting parties, namely the Gerindra party, the Democrat Party, PKS, PDI-Perjuangan, Nasdem Party, and Hanura Party. The problem in this study is that the role of coalition political parties is not directly proportional to the victory obtained in the legislative election against the victory in the 2020 Rokan Hulu regional election, which was only a difference of 0.92%. This study aims to analyze the role of coalition political parties in the victory of pair No. Order 2 Sukiman-Indra Gunawan in the 2020 simultaneous local elections in Rokan Hulu Regency. This research approach is qualitative with descriptive research type. The research locations are in Rokan Hulu Regency, the Rokan Hulu Regency KPU Office, the Rokan Hulu DPRD, and also the Rokan Hulu Maju Coalition Team. Data collection using interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques using qualitative analysis techniques. Researchers use Miriam Budiarjo's theory (2008) regarding the function of political parties in a democratic country, namely as political socialization, political recruitment, political communication, and a means of regulating conflict. The results of this study are that the role of coalition political parties in winning candidate pair No. Sort 2 Sukiman-Indra Gunawan was successfully carried out by going through the process and stages of carrying out this role. Coalition political parties use political socialization towards society, as well as political recruitment by political parties in determining the candidates they carry. Not only that, the coalition political parties also implemented political communication by carrying out political campaigns and also succeeded in suppressing conflicts that existed in society both during the regional elections and after the regional elections. Abstract

Nanggarjati Huta Padang Village is one of the tourist villages in South Tapanuli Regency. The lack of concern for the village government in developing tourism objects that have been stipulated in the South Tapanuli Regent Regulation Number 64 of 2020, can be seen from the inadequate facilities and accommodations and the village tourism development budget that has not been budgeted for in the Village RKP and RPJM. In addition, culinary SMEs typical of North Sumatra, especially South Tapanuli, are still powerless, both due to limited capital, low technology and skills, as well as limited market access and the absence of integrated and directed culinary development initiatives from the government. Evidenced by the small number of South Tapanuli-style processed food outlets. The aim of the research is to find out the strategy of the village government of Nanggarjati Huta Padang in developing community-based tourism objects and to find out the inhibiting factors of the village government in developing these tourism objects. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Primary data was obtained from interviews, and secondary data was obtained from documents related to the research topic. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis. The results showed that the strategy carried out by Nanggarjati Huta Padang Village in developing tourism objects was to create attractions in the form of developing natural, historical, cultural and artistic tourism objects. Obstacles in carrying out the tourism development strategy in Nanggarjati Huta Padang Village are in the form of budget funds that have not been regulated according to needs and facilities and accommodation that are still inadequate and are still making improvements to date. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in Rawang Empat Village, Bandar Petalangan District, Pelalawan Regency. This study aims to find out about the custom of surrender, as well as the differences between same-ethnic and non-ethnic marriage customs and the procedure for determining delivery money at the marriage of the Petalangan Malay people. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with five subjects consisting of three key informants and two subjects. For data collection in this study, namely using observation, interviews and documentation. Petalangan is an indigenous Riau Malay tribe who lives in Pelalawan Regency. The existence of marriage customs in the midst of society cannot be separated from efforts to communicate values, norms or rules that have been agreed upon in traditional marriage ceremonies. The application of customary marriage law is very much needed in indigenous peoples. This aims to maintain the sanctity and continuity of marriage. The Petalangan Malay custom is a combination of the Minangkabau customary system, which is matrilineal, and the Malay customary system, which is patriarchal. Rawang Empat Urban Village, Bandar Petalangan District, Pelalawan Regency, in this case, is still one of those who adhere to the exogamy marriage system, which requires people to marry people outside their tribe and marrying people from their own tribe is prohibited or in customary terms it is known as same-tribal marriage. Abstract

ABSTRACT The act of plagiarism is very contrary to grades and academics. But in their academic activities, students sometimes do things that are dishonest or cheating, namely plagiarism in completing tasks given by lecturers. Therefore, this study aims to find out how plagiarism acts among students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Riau. This study used purposive sampling method with 125 respondents. The results showed that the plagiarism actions most often done by students were (1) Changing the arrangement of other people's works without including sources with a percentage of 66,4%, (2) Combining several papers but only including one source with a percentage of 63.2%, (3) copying the entire writing of an essay without including the source with a percentage of 62,4%. Meanwhile, the biggest factor that causes plagiarism is laziness with a percentage of 89,6%. This study provides information that most students know that they have committed plagiarism but still do it, but there are also some students who do plagiarism because of lack of knowledge in recording sources. Abstract

Making an Umrah package requires planning, this planning involves calculations, considerations and estimates. In preparing an Umrah package plan, an interesting object must be selected as an attraction to encourage buyers of the Umrah package. This study aims to determine the stages of Umrah package planning at PT. Penjuru Wisata Negeri in Pekanbaru. From this research it can be seen that the planning factors carried out by PT. Penjuru Wisata Negeri are the purpose of the trip, prepared destinations, length of stay, costumer budget, accomodataion desired, travel documents. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe and display the existing conditions at a research site by collecting data and information obtained directly from the field. The key informants in this study are Operational Managers, Branch Managers, Administrative Staff. Data collection techniques used are literature studies, interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that planning factors are still an obstacle for PT. Penjuru Wisata Negeri is a costumer budget factor. This is due to differences in accommodation and transportation rates after the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: planning, umrah packages, travel.

Abstract

Execution of tasks is a way or steps so that the implementation of work is easy and smooth. In a hotel it is very important to pay attention to the procedure for carrying out the bellboy duties that will be carried out. This study aims to find out how important the attention of hotel management is in carrying out bellboy duties, handling guest goods, recording guest luggage, recording temporary guest safekeeping, sending guest messages and what obstacles are experienced by bellboys when carrying out their duties taken from book sources Agustinus Darsono (2001) in the front office bellboy section of the Fox Hotel Pekanbaru department. Data collected using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Based on the research obtained from the results of the interviews that the implementation of the bellboy duties at the front office department of the Fox Hotel Pekanbaru can be said to be quite good because some have followed the procedures and some are still not in accordance with the procedures that have been determined. Abstract

Government leadership in this study is the ability of the Simalungun Regency Government to repair roads. The Simalungun Regency Government in 2021 has a program that distinguishes its leadership from the leadership of the previous Regent, namely the "Marharoan Bolon" program which is an alternative to road infrastructure development by maximizing human resources. This study aims to describe the Leadership of the Regent and the Head of the Public Works Office in Repairing Roads, as well as identifying factors that influence their Government Leadership. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The type of data used in this writing is primary data derived from research results that the author obtained through interviews with relevant informants and documentation at the research location, as well as secondary data in the form of related documents that the author obtained during this research. The research found that the government leadership in Simalungun Regency in repairing roads in 2021 has begun to show differences compared to the leadership of the previous Government. Leaders in Simalungun Regency have tried to maximize resources and strive for the best in managing road infrastructure development in 2021 through the "Marharoan Bolon" program, but have not succeeded in solving the problem of road repair due to limited human resources from both the government and the community, budget issues, and also the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic which resulted in the delay of several planned programs. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted on Jalan Soebrantas. The purpose of this study is to find out knowledge of parking attendants about parking that applies in accordance with the provisions and find out the quality of service provided by parking attendants on Jalan HR. Soebrantas Pekanbaru City. The technique of determining the sample is Saturated Sampling and determines the number of samples of 85 people. The author uses a quantitative descriptive method and data instruments are observation and interviews. The results found by researchers of knowledge of parking attendants along Jl. H.R Soebrantas Pekanbaru city can be said to be good and the service for parking attendants along Jl. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to get to know the tourist facilities in the Sianok canyon tourist destination, Guguk Panjang sub-district, Bukittinggi city, West Sumatra. Main facilities, Supporting Facilities and supporting facilities. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe and explain the situation that occurs by collecting data and information in the field. The key informants in this study were the Ngarai Sianok Pokdarwis Management, the Head of RT Ngarai Sianok and Visitors. In this study, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the condition of the facilities available at the Sianok Canyon Tourism Object is quite good, however there are several facilities that are not optimally maintained due to the lack of managed facilities and lack of maintenance related to cleanliness from the manager such as canteens, toilets, prayer rooms and information centers. Abstract

ABSTRACT Since the New Order era until now, there have been many and various poverty alleviation programs carried out by the Government of Indonesia. However, it is difficult to conclude whether the number of poor people is decreasing or increasing. This is because depending on the poverty parameter used by many parties, it also varies. The Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) Non-Cash Social Assistance Program is one of the social protection programs that aims to reduce the burden of spending and increase the income of poor and vulnerable families which has been going on since 2017 until now. This research is intended to answer the problem of how PKH impacts on people's welfare? The research was conducted in urban areas, namely Sekip Village, Limapuluh District, Kota Pekanbaru. Theory Sociology used is about poverty and empowerment concepts and the method used is descriptive qualitative by specifying that the informants consist of poor and vulnerable beneficiary families, social assistants and other related government elements. The research results show that the impact of the program in general has not yet shown any change in the behavior of beneficiary families to adopt an independent lifestyle so that they are able to access various health, education and social welfare services. Continuity of education for school-age children can be achieved, as well as an increase in family income from social assistance funds received. However, because self-sufficiency has not grown, aid funds cannot be developed productively to improve family welfare. The factors caused is such social assistants are less intensive and behavior change poors and susceptibles takes a long time and is intensive in an integrated program of stake-holders.
