Abstract

This thesis proposed in order to qualify a degree in Sociology. By title “Socio-Economi Life Of The Motor RickshawDriver In Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan. Issues discussed in this paper is to describle the socio-economi life of the motorrickshaw driver in Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan. Socio-economi life the motor rickshaw driver in Pangkalan Kerinci seethrough condition indicators of income, food, housing, health, education and the srategies used by the motor rickshaw driverto stay afloat with a minimal income.Population of this study are all pedicab motor vehicle ownership status of exitingpersonal in Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan motorcycle rickshaw driver 70. Samples were taken usingn a sample census.Method used is descriptive quantitative method to analyze quantitative and qualitative data. Data screening instruments usedare observation, questionnaires and interview as well as the tabulation of data contained in a single tabulations anddiagrams.Research results in general that in doing so the writer can say that the income of the rickshaw drivers say the motoris still in its early stages can be so low that they have to strive to meet the needs of families looking for a second job. Housingconditions in general are hired by the physical condition of the cement floor, wall board and cement half away house and hasone room sometimes but there are also two rooms using room divider is plywood. When family illness usually brought to ahealth clinic or buy medicine in the shop because it is more effective and easrer to reach. Whereas in the education of childrenin the family only a small portion can continue their education to higher education. Requires minimal revenues motorcyclerickshaw drivers perfom a survival strategy is to improve exiting asset such as looking for a second job to be working wellbore or opening a small shop. Abstract

The increasing number of urban population , standard of living and well-being aswell as the provision of goods demanded the need for better transportationfacilities and can ensure the safety of the public. Means is meant a roadworthiness of vehicles operating on the road. Airworthiness of the vehicle can bemeasured by testing vehicles, motor vehicle testing itself is implemented in orderto ensure the safety, environmental sustainability , and public services. This studyaims to analyze the function of monitoring the Department of Transportation inthe city of Pekanbaru communication information airworthiness testing andtroubleshooting the vehicle owner that the vehicle does not intentionally performfeasibility testing . This research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru, which isthe key informants in this study is Section Head of Supervision and, Head ofTechnical Implementation Vehicle unit Inspection Department of Transportation,Head of Sub Division of Administration Technical Implementation Unit of theDepartment of Transportation Vehicle Inspection, Goods and car ownersthemselves. In addition to the findings of this study is the presence of around10,268 goods vehicles were not roadworthy operating. In collecting the dataobtained from the documentation and documentation - depth interviews withinformants. Once the data is collected and then analyzed using qualitativedescriptive analysis.From the results of this study concluded that the lack of awareness of the driver /owner of the vehicle to perform feasibility testing of vehicles, as well as weakoversight functions run by the Department of Transportation in the city ofPekanbaru to communication information truck which does not test the feasibilityof the vehicle. It required an increase in motor vehicles compulsory supervisionfunction tests, both on the road and on the other by means of surveillance andpersuasive repressive action against the suspected vehicle airworthiness way.Keywords: Controlling, Coordination, and Punishment

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results acceleration of poverty reduction by theCoordinating Team for Poverty Reduction (TKPK) in Meranti Islands Regencyyear 2011-2012, and understanding the limiting factor in efforts to accelerate thepoverty reduction. This study used qualitative methods. Data collectiontechniques in this study were interviews and documentation search, then describedby means of descriptive. From the findings of the data obtained, policies issuedTKPK Meranti Islands Regency in poverty reduction is determine priority areasand targets of poverty reduction interventions, Budgeting analyze povertyreduction programs, make poverty reduction strategy, monitoring of povertyreduction programs, and coordination in efforts to accelerate poverty reduction.Acceleration of poverty reduction strategies in Meranti Islands Regency as it hasbeen by TNP2K is repair of social protection programs, improve access to basicservices, empowerment of the poor, and creating inclusive development. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the tourist's perceptions about the culinary products which sold in the tourism area of Siak Sri Indrapura Palace and the factors which influence these perceptions. This research takes 100 tourists who visited Siak Sri Indrapura Palace as sample. Their perceptions are seen from the perceptions of price, quality and the perceived risk. This research used statistic description analysis techniques and used Likert scale with five alternative answers.The tourist’s perceptions about the culinary products are not so good. It is because there are some factors which make the tourist’s feel bad about the culinary product. For instance, the high price, poor services, etc. The main factors that influence these perceptions are the product appearances, the tourist’s experience, cultures, expectations and motives.Keywords : Perceptions, tourist, culinary product, perceptions of price, quality and the perceived risk.

Abstract

This study was conducted at Hospital Bina Kasih Pekanbaru is located on Jl . Saman Hudin No. 3-5 Pekanbaru Riau , which is a company engaged in medical services . The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fulfilling the needs of the achievements of the hospital paramedics morale building pekanbaru love . The research methods include the location of the research conducted at the Hospital Bina Kasih Pekanbaru , types and sources of data used is primary data , where the data is obtained directly from the company , among others, the achievement of meeting the needs of the hospital paramedics performed bina love pekanbaru and secondary data annual data obtained from the company include data on the number of patients from the years 2008-2012 , and a general overview of the company , while the analysis of the data using descriptive statistical analysis method that uses a simple linear regelasi analysis , correlation test , test coefficient of determination .Based on the research that has been done can be obtained correlation r = 0.714 it is stated veriabel free and bound variables correlated Strong , after test results and the results of determination coefficient R Square of .510 . That is the fulfillment of a variable contribution of achievement by 51 % while the remaining 49 % is influenced by other variables not included in this study . And do t test results are t ( 7.286 ) > t table ( 2,008 ) dansig . ( 000 ) < 0.05 . This means meeting the needs of achievement variables were significant affects on morale paramedics .From the research, leaders should be cultivated Hospital Bina Kasih pekanbaru further enhance efforts to meet the needs of achievement paramedics, the paramedics achievement expectations need to rise and will be a positive influence and boost morale paramedic , so the paramedics have high perfomance .Keyword : need achievement, motivation , business competation.work Performance

Abstract

This research of purpose to determine the response of tourist about decision-making factors of tourist to visit Siak Sri Inderapura Palace tourism object.This research used descriptive quantitative. There are100 sample were taken using accidental sampling. Data collection techniques in this research using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The using likert scale as a measurement tool for determine the short length of the interval that can be used to generate quantitative data.Factors that influence the decision making process, namely tourist characteristics, the awareness of the benefits of travel, description of the tour and tourist destination of excellence (Pitana dan Gayatri, 2005). From the result of research, according to responses by tourist the factor of tourist destination of excellence is a very determining faktor in the proses of decision making to visit Siak Sri Indrapura Palace tourism object.Keyword : decision making factors, tourist, tourism object

Abstract: Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) is an independent stateinstitution established by Act No. 32 of 2002 on broadcasting with the aim ofregulating everything about broadcasting in Indonesia. This independent bodymade up of KPI KPID center and its work in the area are coordinated, nationalpolicy defined KPIs and provincial level while the implementation into KPIDcoverage. The purpose of this study is to To determine the effectiveness of theimplementation of subscription cable TV broadcasting monitoring by KPID Riauand to determine the factors that influence the effectiveness of monitoring theimplementation of the broadcasting cable TV subscription by KPID Riau.Data analysis method used in this research is descriptive qualitativeanalysis method that is based on trying to explain the phenomena that exist andexplore all the facts relating to the subject matter covered by the research, namelythe effectiveness of supervision by subscribing to cable TV broadcasting KPIDRiau.Based on the research and the analysis that has been conducted on thisstudy, obtained by directly monitoring the effectiveness of the implemented KPIDRiau to subscribe to cable TV broadcasters, with a direct way to monitor the fieldby looking at their operating permit. And establishing a program organizationformed Community program Intelligent Media (KCM) and receive complaintsdirectly by phone, sms or in online.Pengawasan KPID Riau administration tosubscribe to cable TV broadcasting are based on the government regulation No..52 of 2005 on organizing and monitoring broadcasters subscribing to the field aswell as receiving information from the public about the existence of cable TVsubscription broadcasters are not taking care of the administrative permission.

Abstract

This research is about how the impact of globalization in a Semi Phery-Phery State. The problems taken by the writer is trying to find the links and impacts happening of foreign investment with night club industries in Batam City.This research uses Paul R. Viotti and Mark V. Kauppi's Theory, which the distribution of power and profits, The Semi Phery-Phery States get profits less than The Core States. As a result of the dependency relationship then emerging national policy influenced the political power of the capitalist. In addition, this study also uses Marjorie Ferguson's Theory, which essentially has turned globalization into in asset that caused change or loss local identity. The most sources of data collection on this research is qualitative research methods with using the library research technique, observation and interview.This research shows the impact of capitalism , specifically relationship between foreign investment that supports the globalization of western culture in the city of Batam . Abstract

This research analyzes the United State (US) motivation to implement VisaWaiver Program in South Korea at 2008. South Korea has bilateral relationshipwith US since post war world II. South Korea has proposed to become visawaiverprogram participants since 2005. But, both countries signed the VWPMemorandum of Understanding in 2008. This study is a qualitative researchmethod that used nation-state level analysis. The writer used the concept ofnational interest and international cooperation theory. Abstract

Pekanbaru city government that has the responsibility and authority toimprove the quality of education is Pekanbaru City Department of Educationwhich is part of the local government under Law No. 32 Year 2004 on RegionalGovernment. One way to improve the quality of education is through schoolaccreditation. With the expected quality of education accreditation PekanbaruCity can continue to increase and become a benchmark for the success ofeducational programs that can be an example for other areas in Riau provinceand outside the province of Riau.The purpose of this study is to see how the efforts of Pekanbaru CityDepartment of Education in improving the quality of education throughaccreditation and any factors that hamper the government's efforts in improvingaccreditation. This research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru, which is thekey informants in this study are, the head Pekanbaru City Department ofEducation, the head of Primary School Development. In collecting the dataobtained from the documentation and documentation - depth interviews withinformants. Once the data is collected and then analyzed using qualitativedescriptive analysis. After doing research, efforts to increase the value ofaccreditation is not yet fully optimized.It was also found that there are factors that hamper efforts PekanbaruCity Department of Education in improving primary school accreditation. Thelimiting factor is the lack of funds for education, lack of teachers and educationpersonnel, lack of infrastructure facilities, and management education has notbeen effective and efficient. Suggestions for official efforts to improve elementaryschool accreditation is a further need to be maximized, socialization shouldperiodically be given to schools to better prepare future components ofaccreditation in order to 8 components in the accreditation assessment can beprepared as much as possible.Key word : elementary school accreditation, the quality of education.
