Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of seniority and loyalty to promotion of position on Toyota car dealer employees at PT. Agung Automall Pekanbaru. The sampel in this study were taken 53 respondents and the technique used purposive sampling. The data in this study used survey method through quetionnaires falled by employees. The data obtained of questionnaire tested through SPSS16 program. The results of analysis used multiple linear regression analysis, determination test (R2), individual significance test (t test) and simultaneous significance test (F test) so it can be seen that seniority variable had a positive effect on promotion of position variable, seniority variable influences variable promotion of position , and a significant influence between seniority and loyalty variable promotion of position. The results shows R Square is the coefficient of determination and obtained R Square velue of 0,838. That is, seniority and loyalty effect promotion of position by 83,8%.\Keywords : Seniority,Loyalty and Promotion of Position

Abstract

Bugis tribe is an ethnic group that has long lived in the area of South Sulawesi. The area where the Bugis tribe resides in the central part of South Sulawesi makes this tribe in direct contact with other tribes residing in the province. For Bugis society, marriage means taking each other or Bugisnya siala '. One of the marriage customs in this Bugis Tribe is Money Panai ', where this tradition of the groom brings a certain amount of money to the prospective bride who will be used for the purpose of holding weddings and other wedding expenses. As for one film that raised the value of traditional / original culture is the film Money Panai = Maha (l) r. This study aims to determine the meaning of denotation, connotation and myths in the film Money Panai = Maha (l) r, knowing Bugis-Makassar Cultural Representation shown in Money Money Panai = Maha (l) r. This research uses qualitative research type with semiolysis analsis approach Roland Barthes. Subjects in this study are Scene-Scene in the Money Money Movement = Maha (l) r Makkita Cinema Production production in collaboration with 786 Productions. This study uses data collection techniques through documentation and literature study. To achieve the validity of data in this study, the authors use triangulation techniques. The results show that there are three corresponding meanings in Roland Barthes's semiotics. The meaning of denotation contained in the scene of the Money Panai film = = Maha (l) r describes the character of the bugis-makassar community as the Perantau, Asking for Opinion and Restu, Penjajakan, Kinship, Proposal, and Self-Esteem. Meaning of connotation gained in this film in the form of action figures, meaning of utterance based on implicit meaning in dialogue that presented depict value, custom, kinship and moral message. The meaning of myth / ideology contained in several scenes is interpreted through literature review on the culture of bugis-makassar that understand the values of customs, and culture of Self-esteem or siri 'which has been inherited and entrenched among the people of bugis-makassar. Abstract

This research was conducted at Senggol Market of Dumai City on Used Clothes Merchant. The purpose of this research is to know the pattern of social exchange in economic relationship between used clothing merchant in Senggol Market of Dumai City. The focus of this research is the economic and social activity between used clothing merchant in Senggol Market of Dumai City. This research was conducted on 8 people from traders, 3 people from toke and 1 person as resource person from market manager of senggol dumai city. So the sample in this study is as much as 12 research subjects. Research instances use observation, interview and documentation. This research uses qualitative analysis technique. The research conducted found that the Economic and Social Activity among Used Clothing Traders in Dumai City explains include: Economic Relationships between Merchants, Economic relationships among traders in the market senggol seen from the pricing by tauke and distribution to traders. Competition and Involvement of Relatives in Economic Activity, competition that occurs among traders there is the involvement of relatives in the economic activity of used clothing merchants. Solidarity and Inter-Traders Interactions Different ethnic, solidarity and interaction among ethnic traders found in the used clothing merchant is in the market senggol seen from the form of participation and care that they do as fellow used clothing merchants. The author concludes in the Inter-Social Relationship Relationship among the Relatives in the snggol market there is a proposition within which is Success Proposition. Success proposition occurs between traders with tauke who are relatives. Where the merchant get a reward greater than the cost given tauke relatives to the trader. Social Exchange Relationship Among Traders in Senggol Market Based on Stimulus Proposition is the merchant taking goods from tauke who are not his relatives he has ever taken the goods before and also because in tauke the stock of the desired goods more available. there is a Value Proposition that the trader can take other goods because kedaan goods taken in kedaan ugly and also because the tauke want to take the item for sale the tauke. Abstract

This researce was carried out at Jorong Kubu Anau Kenagarian Manggopoh districts Lubuk Basung by taking the data in the office Kenagarian Manggopoh. The purpose of researce to know implementation of mutual cooperation in raditions of marriage until baretong. The topic of this research is the result of baretong the implementation of the marriage. The study used qualitative research methods. This study consisted of six informants, of them as key informants and two as informants selected by using purposive sampling technique. The data instruments are observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. From the researce done , the authers faound that intradition mutual cooperation in the implementation of marriage in the Jorong Kubu Anau is as follows: custom marriage and the marriage process stage starts from, rapat pusako, maantaan asok, tibang tando, duduk mamak, mengundang, batagak pondok, baralek, and the last is baretong. The custom of baretong as tradition of mutual cooperation among others is the implementation af baretong, arrangement of baretong implementation activities, tools or facilities used when baretong, baretong participants and their functions and when the show is baretong and when in society. The difference between mens and womens, the result of tradition of profit or loss, factors affecting baretong results, as well as the types of donation given when baretong. The purpose of mutual cooperation in marriage is to alleviate the costs borne. Each stage of the tradition of marriage contains elements of mutual cooperation. Abstract

This study was conducted in the Mosque complete Al-Mujahidin District Payung Sekaki City’s Pekanbaru with the aim to know the form of public participation (jama’ah) and the role of the Mosque complete Al-Mujahidin in the development of or society. What ate the form of public participation (jama’ah) then how the role Mosque complete Al-Mujahidin in realizing function Masque as the development of or society. This study using research kualitatif thedescriptive. The subject in this study amounts to 8 people with 3 people as e key informants and 5 as informants. In the data collection researchers use a technique observations, the interview, and the documentation. Analysis result of thedescriptive analysis suggests that in public participation om each activities or the show is not much different with Mosque in general in the city of Pekanbaru by gives the program invited jama’ah or society. This is where we can see the shape of the participation of society among them is to present in the tablig akbar, the day of Islam, filling Ramadhan, the study routine dawn every Saturday and Sunday as well as giving aid to the public good form to moral and material. The results of observasi researchers shows the role of given Mosque as the development of or society is to give the container education religion for the community, as Mosque pilot for other Mosque, and container coaching youth and teenagers as well as a forum to improve the walfare of society. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of product differentiation, service differentiation, and image differentiation to the consumer loyalty shipping service business PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Pekanbaru partially and simultaneously. This research uses sub variable that is Product Differentiation, Service Differentiation, and Image Diferensiasi. This research was conducted at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Pekanbaru which is located at Jalan Jendral Sudirman no. 229 Pekanbaru. In this research the methodology used is descriptive and quantitative with SPSS program, where the sample in this research is consumer of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Pekanbaru as many as 100 respondents. To determine the sample using Slovin formula, sampling method with purposive sampling. Data collection techniques through questionnaires.From the data analysis covering validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis, and significance test with t test (partial), and f (simultaneous) test. The result of this research shows that the result of test of first t test hypothesis, product differentiation to consumer loyalty is t arithmetic (12,972) > t table (1,6608) meaning product differentiation have significant effect to consumer’s loyalty. Second, service differentiation to consumer loyalty is t arithmetic (8,920) > t table (1,6608) meaning service differentiation have a significant effect to consumer loyalty. Third, image differentiation to consumer loyalty is t arithmetic (12,525) > t table (1,6608) meaning image differentiation have significant effect to consumer loyalty. F product differentiation test, service differentiation, and image differentiation to consumer loyalty are F arithmetic (80,972) > F table (2,70). This means product differentiation, service differentiation, and image differentiation simultaneously significantly influence consumer’s loyalty.Keywords: Product Differentiation, Service Differentiation, Image DifferentiationConsumer loyalty

Abstract

Cultural diplomacy is a category of Soft Diplomacy in the implementation of a country's foreign policy. Cultural diplomacy is a manifestation of the implementation of public diplomacy. One of the cultural diplomacy instruments used by Indonesia to United Kingdom in Cultural Festival. Diplomacy through festival is known as Cultural Diplomacy. Indonesian's Festival aims to win the hearts and minds of foreigners thereby increasing interaction and cooperation with other countries. Using the theory of diplomacy is the concept of soft power by Joseph Nye, Jr and perspective of Neorealism by Kenneth Waltz, this research obtained data through literature studies and direct research to the Indonesia Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The research shows that Indonesian's Cultural Diplomacy have been done through annual festivals serving Indonesian culinary, art,and fashion, participation of Indonesian government in annual culinary festival held by the United Kingdom. It was also found that the implementation of culure diplomacy impacts the level of increasing number of tourist from the United Kingdom to visit Indonesia. Abstract

Health in social life is a prosperous state of body, soul, and social that allows every person to live socially and economically productive, where the position of health is very important in improving the life of society. The prevention and elimination of elephantiasis is now a concern of the Government and is one of the disease control programs that should be pursued in a more systematic and sustainable manner. Filariasis or better known also elephantiasis disease is a chronic infectious disease that is always present in the tropics caused by filaria worm infection. The Filariasis Prevention Bulk Drug Program (POPM) is an action that prioritizes people's safety above individual interests. The purpose of this research is to see how the implementation of the program of drug prevention of bulk (POPM) of elephantiasis (filariasis) in Pangko pusako district of Rokan Hilir district. The concept of theory used is, the implementation proposed by Edward III which says that there are four variables that determine the successful implementation of a policy, namely: Communications, Resources, Disposition and Bureaucratic Structure. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive data. In collecting data of researcher use purposive sampling method as source of information and data analysis with triangulation technique. The results showed that the implementation of the program of prevention of bulk foot (elephant) foot mass (filariasis) in Bangko Pusako district of Rokan Hilir district has been running well, but only the lack of comprehensive socialization or counseling in the implementation. In addition, the community should also be the target group of the program has awareness to take the drug, so that the program can be done as expected.Keywords : Implementation, medicine, Filariasis

Abstract

Turi Beach Resort is located in a city that is the city of Batam where this location is a lot of favorite locations for tourists in the country and foreign tourists to visit, (1) to know the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of waiter and waitress at Tamingsari Turi Beach Resort Batam (2) to know the constraints encountered in the implementation of SOP waiter and waitress. The design of this study using qualitative methods with descriptive approach in which researchers will retrieve data from informants who know the restaurant in Turi Beach Resort Batam. From the research results can be concluded in the implementation of Standard Oprasional Procedure (SOP) waiter and waitress Mise And Place Table Setting, Greet And Great, Offering Menu, Taking Order, Other Service, Clearing Table, Taking The Dessert Order, Presenting Bill, Clearing and some obstacles that are found are Individual, Leadership, Team and system. Abstract

 This research was conducted at HR. Soebrantas street Tampan district, Pekanbaru with the title Traders Resale Response Against Alfamart and Indomart in Tampan District, Pekanbaru (HR Soebrantas street). Lately, with the increasing technological advances population growth encouraged the increased development activities. One of the many developments done is the development in the field of shopping centers such as retail stores like Alfamart and Indomart. In the last 5 years, it has been known that retail store development has been done as many as 11 Alfamart and 12 Indomart on HR. Soebrantas street, Pekanbaru. Meanwhile, traditional traders sell similar products are found in the same location and have operated both before and after the establishment of the retail store. This study aims to find out how the traditional daily merchant’s response to the existence of Alfamart and Indomart on HR. Soebrantas street as well as to determine the extent to which the influence caused by Alfamart and Indomart to the turnover of traditional daily merchant on HR. Soebrantas street. The theory used in this research are the response and development theory, while the method used is quantitative descriptive by using questionnaires and guided interview techniques. The results showed that from 75 respondents there were 30 respondents who accepted, 29 respondents refused, and 16 respondents that did not care regarding the existence of Alfamart and Indomart. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the existence of Alfamart and Indomart didn’t affect the turnover of Traders Traditional Goods.  Keywords : Respond, effect, turnover
