Abstract

ABSTRACT          Kurau net is a type of active fishing gear that drifts and traps other fish caught in the Kurau net. The construction of the Kurau net is very simple. This research was conducted in Meskom Village, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province in February 2021. This study aims to determine the composition of the catch type and amount of target fish catch and bycatch kurau nets with different mesh sizes operated in Meskom Village, Kab. Bengkalis Riau Province. This research was conducted using survey and literature methods. The results showed that the catches caught in the Kurau Net with mesh size 4 and the Kurau net in 7 meshes yielded different catches, namely the Kurau net with mesh size 4 obtained 4 types of fish in the form of White Snapper (Lates calcalifer), Grouper Red (Plectropomus leopardus), Mackerel (Scomberomorus) and Parang fish (Chirocentrus Dorab) while the catch of kurau nets with mesh size 7 found 1 type of fish, namely Kurau fish (Eleuheronema tetradaccylum)Keywords : Catch, Mesh Size 4 and.

Abstract

ABSTRACT`           This study aims to determine the effect of different pressure cooker on the quality characteristics of shredded carp (Cyprinus carpio). The research method used was experiment by making carp shredded with different pressure cooking times. The design used was a non-factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with different presto cooking times, consisting of L0 (steamed carp for 30 minutes), L1 (carp press for 30 minutes), L2 (carp pressure for 45 minutes). ), L3 (goldfish pressure with a time of 60 minutes). Parameter analysis is organoleptic test (taste, texture, color, aroma). The results of the organoletic assessment analysis showed that the shredded carp with different pressure cooking times showed that the taste, color and texture, and aroma gave the highest value to the 60 minute pressure cooking time treatment, rather than the 30 minute and 45 minute pressure cooker treatment. Different presto cooking time affects the quality of shredded carp. Shredded carp with different presto cooking time of 60 minutes is produced shredded with a characteristic taste of shredded carp, the spices are strong, the color of the brown thorn shreds is no longer visible, the aroma is very fragrant without a fishy smell, the texture is crunchy, slightly oily and soft.Keywords: characteristic, , oganoleptic test, presto, floss

Abstract

ABSTRACK The Kambang fish landing base in West Sumatra Province is one of the centers for capture fisheries activities, starting from filling supplies to fishing fleets. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to apply sanitation in the technical service of the Kambang Fishing Port (PPI) in West Sumatra Province and see how the supervision of the implementation of sanitation in the technical service of the Kambang Fish Base Port (PPI) in West Sumatra. The research was conducted using a survey method, namely direct observation of objects in the form of sanitation management in the PPI Kambang technical service to respondents by distributing questionnaires. This research procedure went through two stages which were carried out in a structured manner, namely the data collection stage and the data analysis stage. The data taken are interview and observation data, then the data is analyzed descriptively, from the analysis it is obtained that it shows that the implementation of sanitation at the PPI Kambang port of West Sumatra is quite good, it can be seen from the assessment of the condition of facilities and infrastructure which is at a value of 4.2 with good criteria.Keyword : Sanitation, Technical Service Unit, Fish Landing Base

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of giving Tubifexsp with different doses on the growth and survival of black ghost fish (Apteronotusalbifrons). This research was conducted in May – July 2019 at the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Riau University, Pekanbaru. This study used a one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatment levels with three replications so that 12 experimental units were needed. The treatments were: Giving Tubifexsp 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% of the weight of fish biomass. The results of the research that have been carried out can be seen that the best treatment is feeding with a dose of 20% / body weight which can produce an absolute weight growth rate (0.51 g), absolute length growth (4.75 cm), specific length growth (2, 5 cm). 20%) and survival (86.67%) while the water quality parameters during the study obtained pH 6.0-7.0, temperature 26-28 0C, DO 3.1-3.2 mg/l.Keyword :Apteronotusalbifrons, Doses, Growth of Tubifexsp

Abstract

Abstract Chlorella sp. is green microalgae thatcontain bioactive compounds which can be used as biological functions.This chlorella was obtained from a sea of Bagansiapiapi waters. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best yield value of Chlorella sp.extractedwith a different solvent. The experimental research method consisted of 3 stages, namely: 1) sample preparation, 2) sample extraction with different solvents, 3) yield testing. The design used was a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatment levels using different solvents: n-hexane (N1), ethyl acetate (N2), methanol (N3) and aquades (N4) with 3 replications, so obtained 12 experimental units. The results showed that the Chlorella sp. was extracted withn-hexane solvent (N1) was the best treatment containing the highest yield ofChlorella sp.(51.17%), followed by methanol solvent (50.76%), aquades (34.71%) and ethyl acetate (26.09%). Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research about comparative study DO, CO2, pH in Tanjung Kudu Lake Kualu Village, Kampar Regency and PLTA Koto Panjang Hydroelectric Reservoir Riau Province was conducted on January 2021. There were 3 station in Tanjung Kudu Lake as well as Koto Panjang Hydroelectric Reservoir. Sampling was done every 4 hours during 3 days. Sampling in Tanjung Kudu Lake based on Secchi depth namely surface and 2 Secchi depth and in Koto Panjang Hydroelectric Reservoir, namely surface, 2 Secchi depth, 4 Secchi depth, 10 Secchi depth, 20 Secchi depth, and the bottom of lake. The Result shownthe average of DO in Tanjung Kudu Lake  ranges from 4.62–7.53 mg/L, CO2 ranges from 4.00–8.88 mg/L, pH 5, temperatures ranges from 27–30°C, transparency ranges from 34-49 cm, depth ranges from 1,2-2 m, and in Koto Panjang Hydroelectric Reservoir concentration of DO ranges from 1.87 mg/L-7.60 mg/L, CO2 ranges from 7.10 mg/L-32.41 mg/L, pH ranges from 5–6, temperatures ranges from 24-32°C, transparency ranges from 101-135 cm, depth ranges from 34-41 m. Two-way Anova test showed that the concentration of DO, CO2, and pH between Tanjung Kudu Lake and Koto Panjang Hydroelectric Reservoir were significantly different.Keywords: Water Quality Parameters, Tanjung Kudu Lake, Koto Panjang Hydroelectric Reservoir

Abstract

Abstract               The purpose of this study was to obtain isolates of lactic acid bacteria from cincalo, and to determine the craracteristics of lactic acid bacteria contained in the fermentd cincalok product. The benefit of this research is to provide informatin regarding the isolation and characterization of lactic acid bacteria from cincalok rebon shrimp. The method used in this research is descriptive, namely isolating and characterizing lactic acid bacteria in cincalok fermented products. The concentration of the culture substrate was C0% treatment with 0g culture substrate, C10% with 25g culture substrate, C15% with 37,5g culture substrate, C20% with 50g culture substrate. The parameters observed in this study were PH value, BAL isolation, morphological test (gram stain and motility test), physiological trait test (proteolytic activity test), sensory tes (appearance, texture,,aroma, and taste). The results of this study were obtained PH values with an avarage of 4.53, 4.17. 4.03. and 3.87. and from the isolation carried out, it was obtained 7 bacterial isolates isolated from the fermentation of rebon shrimp cincalok with the backslopping method. In testing the morphological properties of rebon shrimp, gram positive was found, hile in the motility test the seven isolates were non-motile. The proteolityc test on rebon shrim cincalok showed the formation of aclear zone that occurred in the isolates. Sensory test results with the C20 treatment with a visual value of 7.77, a texture value of 7.67, an aroma value of 8.03, and a taste value of 7.20. it can be seen that the C20 treatment was more acceptable to the panelis with the criteria of attaractive appearance, neutral pink color, fresh sour and salty taste of fermented cincalok, and very dense texture, slightly chewy.Keywords: Keywords: Substrat, BAL, Cincalok, Isolation

Abstract

ABSTRACTLongitudinal Gradient of nitrate (NO 3 - ) and phosphate (PO 4 3- ) in Air Hitam River was carried out in September 2021. This study aims to determine the Longitudinal Gradient of nitrate and phosphate in the Air Hitam River Pekanbaru City. There were 5 stations, namely Station 1 (upstream), Station 2, 3, 4 (in the middle of river), Station 5 (down stream).  Sampling was done 3 times, once/3 days.  Water quality parameter were measured such as nitrate and phosphate (main parameter) and temperature, transparency, pH, dissolved oxygen, BOD 5 , and free carbondioxide.  Result shown nitrate concentration ranges from 0.1861-0.03181 mg/L, phosphate ranges from 0.2662-0.3208 mg/L, temperature ranges from 28-29ºC, pH ranges from 5.5-6, transparency : 18-28 cm, dissolved oxygen (DO) ranged 6,10-6,18 mg / L, free carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) ranged : 7,99 - 9,32 mg / L, BOD 5  ranged 5,5-6,0 mg /L. The longitudinal gradient of nitrate and phosphate does not show a characteristic pattern in the Air Hitam River. Based on the phosphate concentration, the trophic status of the Air Hitam River is hypereutrophicKeywords: nitrate and phosphate longitudinal gradient, water quality, Air Hitam River

Abstract

                                                  AbtracThis research was carried out from March 2019 to April at Tanah Merah Village, Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of environmental friendliness of fishing gear operating in the waters of Tanah Merah Village and determine which fishing gear is a priority to be developed.The method used in this study is a survey method,where the author goes directly to the field to evaluate fishing gear such as gillnets, kurau nets, and togok operated by Tanah Merah fishermen.          Based on the results of environmental friendliness scores that from the results of interviews and identification of fishing gear directly, it was found that the higher score was on gillnet fishing gear (gillnet) followed by kurau and togok nets.Where the score of the level of friendliness for gillnets is 31, kurau nets 26,95, and togok 24,5.And the fishing gear that is the priority is gillnet with a weight value of 0,503345, then followed by fishing gear for kurau nets with a weight value of 0,337725 and togok fishing gear with a weight value of 0,158883.Keywords :environmental friendliness of fishing gear, fishing gear priority

Abstract

ABCTRACTThis research was carried out in December 2020 in Lalang Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency. This study aims to determine the composition of the type and weight of the catch and the strength of the current relationship with the catch operated in Lalang Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency. The research method used is the survey method. The data that has been obtained after being tabulated is then analyzed descriptively. The catch obtained by the pengerih fishing gear consisted of 8 species, namely lomek fish (Harpodon nehereus), pomfret (Colossoma macropum), thorn fish (Arius thalasius), gulamo fish (Bahaba poly kladieous), exorbitant fish (Nematalosa come), turtle fish (Eleutheronema tetradactylum), ringworm (Llisha elongata) and shrimp (Metapenaeus monocerous). While the analysis of the strength of the relationship between catches and current velocity in Lalang Village, current velocity has a strong relationship with the number of catches produced by the fishing gear as seen from the coefficient of determination of the fishing gear, which is 0.99 (0.80-1.00) . It can be concluded that the current is very influential on the catch obtained by fishing gear in Lalang Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency. Keywords: Fishing gear, simple linear, Lalang Village
