Abstract

Porous hydroxyapatite is a crystalline molecule composed of calcium and phosphorus which can be used as a macroporous microcarrier. Macroporoous microcarrier is one of tissue engineering technology that consist of support matrix and can be used as a cell culture medium in bioreactor. Protein foaming-starch consolidation method is choosed for manufacturing porous hydroxyapatite with egg yolk as a pore-forming agent. The purpose of this research is to study the influence of process variables i.e yolk addition (27 - 33 gr), sintering temperature (1200oC - 1300oC), and drying temperature (170oC - 190oC) toward porous hydroxyapatite properties such as compressive strenght, porosity and pore size made by protein foaming – starch consolidation methode. The experimental resulted porous hydroxyapatite with compressive strength in range of 4.55 - 11.05 MPa, porosity in rang of 25.95 - 58.74% and pore size in range of 15.08 - 33.56 μm.Keywords: compressive strength, pore size, porosity, porous ceramic

Abstract

Forecast demand of electrical energy Sultan Syarif Kasim II Pekanbaru years 2017-2027 with linear regression method. Linear regression method used to determine to had forecast or predicting the value of one variable in conjuction with other variables. On method is divided into 3 (three) segments services available in the Sultan Syarif Kasim II Pekanbaru, namely aeronautics, non-aeronautics and cargo segments services. Forecast demand of electrical energy influenced by electric energy consumption. The data used history data for 6 (six) years, namely from year 2011 until 2016. Master plan Sultan Syarif Kasim II Pekanbaru City Province of Riau will further developing the airport and necessary forecast demand of electrical energy. The percentage of growth forecast demand of electrical energy Sultan Syarif Kasim II Pekanbaru is 11,15% per-years will total needs 10.842.880,19 kWh in 2017 and increased until 2027 is 35.376.553,72 kWh.Keywords: electrical energy, linear regression, consumption of electricity, demand of electrical energy

Abstract

This research study the compressive strength and mass loss of OPC concrete and concrete combine of OPC +10% palm oil fuel ash (POFA). The specimens cured in peat environment until 28 days. Compressive strength of concrete OPC G higher than OPC POFA G because reaction of pozzolanic make slowly calcium silicat. Weight changes showed OPC G until 28 days increased because acid can make expantions so volume of concrete increased. Concrete OPC G +10% POFA decreased because reaction pozzolanic can less acid for concrete.Keywords: Durability, OPC, POFA, peat environment.

Abstract

In this study the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) develoved to know satisfication of costumer by questionnaire. The objective of this study is to find materials and components coconut dehusking machine accordance with the wishes of society. From the results of the questionnaire, the desired parameters is spare part available on market and cheapest product. Selection of materials and components coconut de-husking is: Selection of cuting knife cone shaped with the number of blades 34 pieces. Selection of conductor knife plat shaped with a number of blades 18 pieces. Selection of an electric motor with a power of 1 HP and 1400 rpm rotation. Selection of sprocket-chain the selected is the number of chain 40 with a pitch of 12.70 mm. The shaft material used is AISI 1045 with diameter of 25.4 mm. Material steel plate the selected is mild steel with a thickness of 2 mm. Steel materials profi L the selected is mild steel with dimension 50x50 mm. Abstract

Peat water is surface water are blackish brown and metals Fe which requires effective and efficient processing to be worthy for use by the public. Various types of adsorbents continue to be developed, one of which is the coconut fiber adsorbent. The purpose of this study was to determine metal removal efficiency of Fe in the peat water, calculating the adsorption capacity and determine the appropriate type of isotherm. Fixed variables used in this study is the stirring speed of 150 rpm and a contact time of 60 minutes. For independent variables used consisted of adsorbent mass variation of 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 g and a particle size variation 100, 140 and 200 mesh. Removal efficiency of Fe metal concentrations higher 84.67% by mass of adsorbent 2 g with a particle size of 200 mesh. Metal adsorption capacity of Fe achieved the highest on the mass of 0.5 grams with a particle size of 200 mesh amounted to 0.09596 mg Fe / g. Types of adsorption isotherms corresponding to Fe by coconut fiber adsorbents is Freundlich isotherm with R2 values of 0.9783 for Fe.Keywords : Adsorption, Adsorbent, Peat Water, Coconut Fiber.

Abstract

Semi precast concrete or Hybridconcrete construction (HCC) is a structure whose elements system is a combination of precast concrete and cast concretein place or castin place (CIP). Concrete type is in addition to flexural, stirrup reinforcement also need to develop strength. This study examines the behavior of bending and shear, load and deflection relationships, as well as variations in the amount of reinforcement stirrups. Based on the finite element-based numerical analysis, which examined Beams has dimensions of 290 x 140 mm with a length of 3000 mm. Quality precast used 5 MPa while cast in placenya 17.5 Mpa. Variations beam stirrups used without stirrups, stirrups spacing between 0.25 m and 0.15m. The beams are analyzed given the concentrated load at midspan. The analysis showed that the deflection of the beam without stirrups, beams with stirrups spacing between 0.25 m and 0.15 m respectively is 1.396 mm, 1.498 mm and 2.716 mm. Stiffness of the beam without stirrups, beams with stirrups spacing between 0.25 m and beams with stirrups spacing between 0.15 m respectively is 21.489 KN / mm, 21.36 KN / mm, 18.409 KN / mm. The bending moment beam without stirrups, beams with stirrups spacing between 0.25 a m and beams with stirrups spacing between 0.5 m succession is 22.5KNm, 24KNm, 37.5 KNM and third curvature beam models were analyzed in a row was 1.241 / mm, 1.332 / mm , 2.415 / mm.Keywords:Beam,finite element analysis software, semi-precast, stirrups reinforced.

Abstract

Communication technology development are growing to the 5G era, where there is a significant increase in performance compared to previous generations. The occurrence of improvement and mobile wireless service in the future, there are still some issues that can not be accommodated even by today's 4G, such as high data rates, area coverage and low energy consumption. Therefore, 5G technology will solve the problem and the need to improve efficiency and network capacity, increase data rate with better coverage on low power consumption. This research will design microstrip antenna MIMO (multiple input multiple output) 4x4 with Metamaterial CSRR (Complementary Split-Ring Resonator), which works at a frequency of 28 GHz and 38 GHz using CST Microwave Studio software, The antenna is designed by using RT-duroid 5880 substrate with a thickness of 1.575 mm. The simulation results obtained for MIMO 4x4 are the return loss value of -25.916 dB and -25.697, the bandwidth for frequency 28 is 15.89% (4.45 GHz) and frequency of 38 5.92% (2.25 GHz), VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) ≤ 1.106 and ≤ 1.109 and gain ≥ 10,5 dBi.Keywords: Return loss, Bandwidth, VSWR, gain

Abstract

Laccase enzyme is classified as oxidoreductase enzyme; i.e. an enzyme that can oxidize phenolic compounds and reduce oxygen molecules into water molecules. An enzyme production process using fungi through solid fermentation has more advantages compared to the one through submerged fermentation since it has the processing condition as if the fungi grow in nature. This research is aimed at investigating the process of laccase enzyme production by Trichoderma asperellum LBKURCC1 in bioreactor tray through solid state fermentation using rice straw substrates. The objective of this research is to figure out the influence of bed depth and fermenting time on laccase enzyme production by Trichoderma asperellum LBKURCC1. The variables of the research are the bed depth of 1.5, to 4.5 cm and fermentation time of 5, to 10 days. The research findings show that the peak of laccase enzyme activity was obtained at 3.0 cm bed depth and 7 day fermentation time. Increasing the depth of the bed can increase the activity of laccase enzyme produced. However, increasing too much depth of the bed can cause the decrease of laccase enzyme activity. Besides, the fermentation time over 7 days can also decrease the laccase enzyme activity for the amount of the water contained in the bed is drying up.Keywords: bioreactor tray, laccase enzyme, rice straw, Trichoderma asperellum LBKURCC1

Abstract

One alternative raw materials manufacture of high grade silica is using palm oil mill fly ash. This research aimed to study the effect of temperatureprocess, time and the ratio mass of zeolite and obtain optimum conditions cation exchange process (Fe) in a solution of sodium silicate with raw material palm oil mill fly ash. Palm oil mill fly ash is heated using oven at 105° C for 24 hours. Then fly ash reacted with 1,4N NaOH solution at 105° C for 50 minutes. Then obtained sodium silicate solution is reacted with Na-zeolite. The results of the optimization then precipitated using 10% H2SO4 and derived solidsilica. XRF analysis results showed solid silica has a purity of 96.129%.Keyword:Precipitation, Zeolite

Abstract

Kampar River is the Main River, especially in Riau Province, which serves as a water drainage conditions can not be separated from human activities in the watershed. Conditions Kampar River is currently estimated to have experienced a decline in water quality due to various human activities that are in the catchment area. This study aims to formulate a strategic priority of the Kampar river water pollution control, the study area is located in the Upper River Region Kampar ie Pasaman of West Sumatra province and Regency Limapuluhkota. Water quality analysis conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and management of Sumatra Ecoregion (P3ES), using the parameter Biologycal Oxigen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxigen Demand (COD), Total Suspended Solid (TSS). The result is has been a decline Kampar River water quality from upstream to downstream marked with the pollution index value tends to increase by Parameter Biologycal Oxigen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxigen Demand (COD), Total Suspended Solid (TSS). To maintain the quality of water in their natural condition required river water pollution control strategy that is focused on (a) increasing the role of society, both the general public, farmers and the industry in efforts to control water pollution. (B) improving coordination among agencies related to water pollution control, and (c) integrated water pollution control policies in layout.   Keywords: AHP, parameter pollution, pollution control, water quality status
