Abstract

Various efforts have been made to develop the efficiency of time and effort on making meatballs, including this machine a good time efficiency in making meatballs in which the meatball machine forms meatballs of 250 to 280 meatballs / minute. The principle working of this machine is iguite simple where the meatball dough will be input into the dough container and processed by a screw conveyor, when the meatball dough has pressure due to screw conveyor, the meatball dough will be forwarded to the meatball printing dies, and after the dough through the dies meatball printer, meatball will be cut by two plates that move horizontally, the cut meatballs will fall into a tub of boiled meatballs due to the gravitational force. The dimensions of the screw used in this machine a size diameter of 65 mm with a screw shaft diameter of 25.4 mm. With the dies thickness used, which is 25.5 mm, it can accept the load distributed from the screw so that the dimensions of dies used can be declared safe. With the rotational speed of the dies pulley used the same as the cutting speed of the meatballs so that the distance between the pulley dies and the meatball cutting pulleys is 150 mm with the belting size A-24 with a tensioner as far as 26.9 mm. Abstract

Rengat is the capital of Indragiri Hulu Regency. The majority of the population in Indragiri Hulu Regency is Malay and is Muslim. At present, the people of Indragiri Hulu Regency experience a decline in terms of faith and are far from Islamic values. This can be seen from the many problems that have occurred in Indragiri Hulu Regency, such as immoral acts, murder, robbery and gambling. All problems have even deviated from the teachings of Islam. So that there needs to be a container in the form of an Islamic Center in order to reduce these problems. The design method used is the results of field surveys, documentation, analysis of qualitative data and quantitative data. The approach to design the Islamic Center used is the Indragiri Hulu Malay Architecture which focuses on the Architecture of the Indragiri Royal Palace. The concept of the Islamic Center is Hablum Mina Allah, Hablum Mina Annas, Hablum Mina Alam. The results of this design obtained the design of the Islamic Center not only serves as a place of worship, but as a place of study, a center for development, research and development, Islamic consulting centers, as well as places of education in Islamic contexts such as qur'an education places , seminars, skills training, talent development and creativity.Keywords: Indragiri Hulu, Islam, Islamic Center, Indragiri Hulu Malay Architecture.

Abstract

In designing a manipulator, several things need to be considered, which is like the singular condition of the manipulator. This is so that the manipulators can operate in a safe work area. This research will begin with modeling 3D serial manipulator 6R using Inventor software. This 3D model is needed to get join parameter values, namely a, d, θ and α. After obtaining the join parameters, a Forward Kinematic calculation is performed to get the end effector position when given a certain input angle using Matlab software. Then variations are made on the input angle θ2 (30° to 180°) and θ3 (-90° to 60°) and a graph that shows working space is obtained. To ensure that the calculations performed are correct, validation using inventor is done by providing an angle value for the second and third joints. Then the Jacobian matrix was built to obtain the singularity value of each configuration by determining the Jacobian matrix. The configuration is stated to be in a singular position if the det (J) is approaches 0. With the variation in input angle obtained, the manipulator range is -471 mm to 2967 mm on the Z axis and -1936 mm to 2699 mm on the X axis. he singular manipulator is occur when θ3 - 8.1 . From these results it can be stated that the manipulator cannot be in the configuration of θ3 - 8.1 . his is in line with the manufacturer's recommendations which only allow θ3 minimum -75 .keywords: manipulator, serial manipulator, DH parameter, forward kinematics, arm robot, singularity.

Abstract

Pollution that come from hotel liquid waste could reduce water quality on surrounding area. One of the ways to overcome the water pollution that come from hotel liquid waste are using membrane technology. In this study, silica membranes were made with 1;2;3 % (w/w) composition variation of Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) and hotel liquid waste treatment using silica membranes were carried out with 1;2;3 bar operating pressure variation. Silica membranes that have been made were characterized by flux measurement and rejection measurement. The highest value of flux was obtained on membranes with 3 % (w/w) PEG composition and 3 bar operating pressure, that is 22,246 L/(m2.hour). The lowest value of flux was obtained on membrane with 1 % (w/w) PEG composition and 1 bar operating pressure, that is 12,843 L/(m2.hour). The highest rejection values of BOD5, COD and TSS parameters were obtained from membranes with 1 (% w/w) PEG composition and 1 bar operating pressure, that are 69,14%, 77,88% and 86,76% respectively. The lowest rejection values of BOD5, COD and TSS parameters were obtained from membranes with 3 (% w/w) PEG composition and 3 bar operating pressure, that are 41,41%, 54,09% and 61,67% respectively.Keywords : membrane, polyethylene glycol (PEG), silica

Abstract

The Steam Power Plant (PLTU) plays a major role in the supply of electricity in Indonesia today. In general, the performance of the power plant is evaluated by using the first thermodynamic law (energy conservation law). For this reason, energy analysis is based on the first law of thermodynamics which can be studied more deeply about the amount of energy in each component of the power plant. The purpose of this study was to analyze the amount of energy in each component in the dual fuel line 3 steam power plant PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper Pangkalan Kerinci. The results showed that the energy value at pump I was (0.006 MW) followed by pump II (2.219 MW), Steam Turbine (88.719 MW), boiler (258,019 MW) and condenser (76.83 MW). Abstract

Acetic acid is widely used in the manufacture of chemicals, food additives, and cosmetics. Acetic acid can be produced by fermentation using nypa sap raw material because it contains sucrose, glucose, and fructose. One of the factors that influence fermentation results is the concentration of sugar. The fermentation process was carried out with two fermentation stages in stage I using S. Cerevisiae at 1,3 and 5 days fermentation time with a sugar concentration of 249 g / L. The resulting bioethanol was followed by the second stage of fermentation using A.Pasteurianus at 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 days fermentation time. The maximum concentration of acetic acid was obtained at 9 days fermentation and bioethanol substrate 23,68 g / L which was 5,35 g / L and 49,73% yield.Keywords : Acetic acid, A. Abstract

Hijaiyah Letter or also called the Arabic alphabet can be found in the Holy Book of Islam, the Qur'an. Every Muslim is obliged to read the Qur'an and recognize each of Hijaiyah Letters as its constituent letters in order to read and write in Arabic correctly. Humans are essentially intelligent because they are able to distinguish between one object and another through the object's characteristics or patterns. Certainly it is not difficult to identify a handwriting of Hijaiyah Letters even though written by different people. But it's hard if a machine is trying to identify it. The research aims to establish an Identification System of Hijaiyah Letters based on Gray Level Cooccurence Matrix (GLCM) using the Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network to determine system accuracy results and produce sound output in according to how to read it. Image Data of Hijaiyah Letters obtained from hand-written scanning of five different people with total of Hijaiyah Letters as much as 600 data measuring by 300x300 pixels with extension. JPEG for each letter. GLCM-based systems as the extraction of texture features produce values of Energy, Contrast, Homogeneity, Entropy and Correlation, used as input for the training process of Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network. Image Data of Hijaiyah letters used for the training process amounted to 420 letters and 180 letters of testing process. The result of the Hijaiyah Letters Identification System identifies 30 letters from Alif to Ya. The system is able to identify Hijaiyah Letters with an accuracy rate of 96.11% with error 3.89%.Keywords: Hijaiyah Letters, GLCM, Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network, Matlab R2018a.

Abstract

Response Surface Methodology (RSM) is a set of mathematical and statistical techniques that are useful for analyzing problems where several independent variables influence response. The ultimate goal of RSM is for optimizing response. The aim of this study to determine the optimal process conditions in the silica extraction process from POMFA by using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). Silica was extracted by reacting fly ash with NaOH and aquadest. The optimized variables were temperature of 120°C (low) and 150°C (high) and time of 4 hour (low) and 6 hour (high). The silica extract was precipitated using HCl 10% at temperature of 30°C; stirring speed of 500 rpm and pH 9. The silica gel was analyzed using XRF to determine chemical composition. The silica yield were calculated from the chemical composition obtained. RSM-CCD was applied to optimize the extraction process using software Minitab 16.1.1.Keywords: extraction, optimum, POMFA, RSM, silica

Abstract

In recent years, the development of ultra-wideband (UWB) technology for biomedical and diagnostics at microwave frequencies has become an interesting issue. Ultra-wideband (UWB) is a communication that has a low transmit power, avoiding danger to human health. In this paper, an ultra-wideband microstrip (UWB) antenna is designed to detect breast tumors, which operates at a frequency of 5.8 Ghz with a frequency range of 5 to 6 Ghz. The substrate used is FR-4. From the simulation results, the frequency obtained is 5.61 with a return loss of -33.47 dB. Moreover, the bandwidth and gain obtained are 3.46 GHz and 2.96 dB, respectively.Keyword: ultra-wideband, Microstrip antenna, UWB antenna, Breast tumor.

Abstract

Pavement construction requires aggregate which is non renewable material. Concrete waste such as from cubic test might be recyded. This study investigated marshall characteristic of Asphalt concretebinder course (AC-BC) which used of concrete waste as coarse aggregate substitute. Concrete waste was mixed with fresh aggregate at ratio of 100:0, 75:25, 50:50, 25:75 and 0:100 Asphalt contentvariation are 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5% and 7%. The optimum aggregate contents for each variation are 6.08%, 5.83%, 5.87%, 5.10%, 5.55% respectively. The result show that all variation fulfilled the specification The 75:25 variation is recommended as mixture ratio with high stability value of 1445 Kg, Flow 3.40 mm, VMA 15.30%, VFA 77.50%, VIM 3.40%, MQ 440 Kg/mm and also asphalt content is affordable with 5.87% of optimum asphalt content.Keywords: AC-BC, Concrete Waste, Coarse Agregate
