Abstract

Metal Cr (VI) is a metal found in high concentrations of liquid waste electroplating, so it is toxic can cause acute and chronic poisoning. Using fungi biomass become an alternative to solving environment pollution problems caused by heavy metals. The research purposed to learn the ability of C. comatus fungi biosorbent to set aside the metal Cr (VI) through the process of biosorbent characterization with variations of activator NaOH 0,3; 0,5 and 0,7 N with activation time 15 minutes. Result of the research showed characterization phase of biosorbent obtained the best conditions in treatment activator NaOH 0,3 N with efisiensi removal 47,81 %.Keywords : C. comatus fungi, concentration activation, metal Cr (VI), electroplating liquid waste.

Abstract

Pelita Market is one of the markets in Kubu Babussalam sub-district, precisely in Simpang Pelita village, Rokan Hilir district. Judging from the location of the lamp market position, it is in astrategic position that is on the edge of the traffic road, so that access to the market does not get obstacles, because it has been equipped with adequate transportation. However, various commonproblems that occur in traditional markets still occur in the Pelita Market, such as physical buildings that are no longer suitable for use, irregular trade area arrangements, poor managementof circulation patterns (people, goods and vehicles), and a minimum market supporting facilities and infrastructure such as parking areas, garbage bins, security systems and so on. This lampmarket is located on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, precisely in Rantau Panjang Kiri village, Kubu Babussalam sub-district. Abstract

Tepian Muaro Batulangkai tourism object is a tourist attraction Located in Muara Jalai Village, Kampar Utara District, Kampar Regency. This tourism object has great potential to be developed because it has Green and natural beauty. Besides this, the Tepian Muaro Batulangkai is a place that people do Traditional ceremony before Ramadan that is called mandi Balimau. The design method used is the result of field survey, literature study, and empirical data. The designing process of Tepian Muaro Batulangkai tourism object arrangement focuses on water Recreation, cultural recreation and family recreation. The design theme used is Organic architecture which is an architecture that connects the environment and nature. Abstract

Indonesia provides many types of services users, but there are still many service workers who still do not have jobs due to lack of experience. One of them is construction services, which is a voice in the construction workforce profile in LPJK (2015), the number of uncertified construction workers in Riau Province reaches 124,158 people. They need a forum for construction workers to be trained and educated by giving them special skills in the not too long time and producing concrete evidence in the form of certification. For this reason, this training center is needed to accommodate workers who still lack the experience to train themselves, and improve work competency with the skills they have chosen. The training center has the concept of regularity with the principles of Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe who prioritizes the function and simplicity of form. Abstract

Flooding is a major problem that has potential to occur during the rainy season. Replanning of drainage channel dimensions in Jalan Suka Karya km 0-km 5 can be used as an effort to control flood problems. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the existing condition of the drainage channel that caused flooding in the study site and determine an alternative solution if the existing condition of thedrainage channel is unable to accommodate rainwater runoff discharge. The hydrological analysis of this plan used the Log Person III probability distribution and used a 5-year return period. The EPA SWMM assistance program was used to analyze flood problems at the study site. The problem of flooding that occurred at the study site was caused by problems with the dimensions and material thatwere not uniform, as well as sedimentation on the surface of the drainage channel. Land use conditions in the form of densely populated residential areas caused some drainage canals in the study site to be closed by construction buildings that were part of the shoulder of the road so that the drainage system cannot accommodate and excess water optimally. According to the evaluation results of the EPA SWMM assistance program by replanning the dimensions ofthe drainage channel would overcome the problem of flooding in the study site. The drainage channel using U-Ditch precast concrete with dimensions of 0.8 m x 1 m. Abstract

This research aim to obtain the mechanical properties of OPC and OPC POFA concrete by using peat water as mixing and curing water to simulate peat field condition. The specimens were cured for 28 days directly in peat water canal. Mechanical properties tests such as compressive and tensile strength were tested for 7 and 28 days. Results of this research at 28th days show that peat field condition was increase compressive and tensile strength of OPC concrete compared with OPC normal concrete, and results also show that using POFA as subtitution of 10% cement weight was decrease compressive and tensile strength of OPC POFA concrete compared with OPC POFA concrete in normal condition. However, the compressive and tenslie strength of OPC POFA concrete in peat field and normal condition were higher than OPC normal concrete.Keywords : Mechanical properties, OPC, POFA (palm oil fuel ash), peat water, peat field condition.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the damage that occurs on the machine using the FMEA method (case study: CNC Lathe Fanuc machine at the Laboratory of Department of Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Engineering, University of Riau). The research method uses the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) approach by identified an error tree to search for the roots of machine malfunction. Continue using FMEA method in the form of assigning weight rating of Saverity (S), Occurance (O), Detection (D) and Risk Priority Number (RPN) to become a proposed improvement to CNC Lathe machine. The results of the type of damage (Failure Mode) machine was the tool replacement system (movement M 06) failed / not completed. Causes of damage ( failure cause) machine were the motor components faults incorrecly writing program to command tool and faults of components of the automatic tool changger. The proposed improvements include checking and providing oil / lubricant on motor and tool changger components especially moving and rubbing components, repairing and replacing the motor and automatic tool changger components if needed, repairing the program deadlock, removing the M06 commands on the program, repair and replace the memory card if needed. Malay Songket Woven cloth Riau is one of the symbols of the weaving art from Riau Province. Riau songket Woven clothis woven by using golden silk yarn or cotton yarn. it has shaped motifs fromgold or silver yarn . Songket motifs system can be done with two ways uses Principal Component Analysis (PCA) andGray Level Co-Occurence Matrix(GLCM). this research comparesPrincipalComponent Analysis (PCA) andGray Level Co-Occurence Matrix(GLCM) features extraction by using Backpropagation Artificial Intelligence (AI) method with Matlab 2016b,to get the best featureextraction method for recognition songket motifs. Abstract

All electrical power cannot be distributed properly to consumers due to the power losses that occur caused by technical and non-technical problems. The unbalance loads of distribution power system channel can happen caused by permanent conductive resistance. Good conductor should not have resistance value, but in reality every object has electrical resistance value. This conductive resistanve can cause the power losses besides it the condition of distribution network such as the length of the network often increased also it contribution to cause the power losses. The distribution network is more prone to disruption because the distribution of electricity to consumers is carried out continuously.Therefore it is necessary for the calculation of the power losses generated by the conductor. The calculation is carried out on a 20 kV distribution channel with a point to point calculation method. Total primary current has generated phase R is 78.25 A, phase S is 73. 5 A and phase T is 75.6 A. Total power losses that has generated feeder Sungkai is 3244.686 W. Abstract

Cancer is a disease that experiences abnormal, fast and uncontrollable growth and threatens the lives of individual sufferers, this is evidenced by the increasing number of cancer patients annually. The province of Riau itself sufferers of the cancer ranks to 4 by 0.7% orapproximately 4,301 inhabitants. From these problems, a special action and a response to cancer is required. Meanwhile, in Riau, especially the city of Pekanbaru health facilities are still not adequate, so from this problem arise idea to improve the adequate health means andhave a special quality of service treating cancer sufferers With the design of cancer hospital in Pekanbaru. The method used in this design is to use the Healing Environment approach by applying the principles and design ideas that exist in this cancer hospital.
