Abstract

Concrete as a construction material is very important to continue to develop, increase the strength of concrete is one of the main factors of concrete technology development, toincrease the strength of concrete can be done by several methods. This study aimed to compare the strength of concrete methods SNI with maximum density method with fineaggregate size variations. The conclusion is the compressive strength of the concrete method of maximum density without the 0.075 mm sieve fraction larger, ie 35.02 MPa compressive strength of concrete while the ISO method is 31.16 MPa, the compressive strength of the concrete method of maximum density fractions of 27.11 MPa complete, robust The maximum density of concrete methods without the 0.25 mm sieve fractions of 30.48 MPa, and the method of maximum density without the 0.15 mm sieve fraction that is equal to 34.49 MPa.Keywords: Aggregates, Concrete Compressive Strength

Abstract

Kampar Kanan watershed has experienced landuse changes in the recent years. It is important to be able to study about the magnitude of runoff changes due to landuse changes in Kampar Kanan watershed. Hidrologic model was extracted from HEC-GeoHMS in GIS environment to model Kampar Kanan Watershed and the effect of landuse changes on the watershed.Analysis and calibration using HEC-HMS was conducted on hydrologic model. Calibration was conducted based on observed streamflow of AWLR Danau Bingkuang and gave the value of optimized parameters which are, 120% of the initial estimated value for curve number and 150% of the initial estimated value for initial abstraction. Runoff simulation using optimized parameters and inputs of frequency storm with exceedence probability of 2% yields the streamflow magnitude of 641 cms and 617 cms for landuse simulation of 2008 and 2014 respectively. The results of HEC-HMS calculation showed a 3.7% decrease in runoff streamflow on Kampar Kanan watershed.Keywords : Calibration, hydrologic model, landuse changes, watershed, HEC-HMS,

Abstract

Water sources used by the Regional Water Company (RWC) is derived from the Wonosari’s reservoir of Bengkalis City which covers about 6 acres, but the volume of the reservoir storage is not sufficient to supply water in the city of Bengkalis. Therefore it is necessary to estimate wether the water from the canals of PT. Meskom Agrosarimas can fulfill the water needs for customers PDAM Bengkalis. there are three methods used to analyze the number of people, namely the geometric method, arimatik method, and the method of least squares. Reservoir water volume calculation was analyzed using the FJ Mock method, while the volume of water of canal PT. Meskom was analyzed using Rational Method. Calculation of population growth of Bengkalis District using Arithmetic method for the population of 10 years to come, namely in 2025 amounted to 112 667 inhabitants. Clean water needs Bengkalis District’s residents in 2015 amounted to 143 liters / sec and for 2025 is 180 liters / sec. Water volume of the reservoir that can be utilized to meet the needs of raw water amounted to 109 005 m3.Keywords: Water Availability, Regional Water Company (RWC)

Abstract

Sungai Paku reservoir built by the Public Works Department of Riau Province in Sungai Paku, Kampar Kiri subdistrict, Kampar district used as a irrigation water source to irrigate 373 hectares of agricultural land in the Regional Irrigation (DI) Sungai Paku and is planned as a raw water source for the population in surroundings. Base contours Sungai Paku reservoir are needed to determine the reservoir capacity curve. This curve expressing the relation of elevation, area, and volume in Sungai Paku reservoir. Water availability in Sungai Paku reservoir is calculated by the method of Mock while water loss is calculated from the outflow through the outlet, evaporation, and raw water needs of the population. The results showed the largest water availability occurred in April in the amount of 2.5217 m3 / sec and the largest water loss occurs in December in the amount of 0.7150 m3 / sec. Water shortages occur in August amounted to 0.1087 m3 / sec or in units of volume (m3) will be amounted to 291,124.914 m3 with the life storage capacity of the Sungai Paku reservoir of 2,497,988.579 m3 Sungai Paku reservoir able to cover water shortages occur and can be used as a raw water source for the population in surroundings.Keyword : Reservoir, storage capacity, water balance

Abstract

Siak river is one of the major rivers that gain national attention and was also included in the category of national strategic river, because the river has a function and a very large role in the development of the region and the economy both locally, regionally and nationally. The research objective is to monitor performance subzone Siak Hulu Part In Siak River Basin Management uses two criteria, namely the use of land and water management. Land use criteria determined by indicator closure by vegetation, suitability of land use, and the index of erosion, while water management criteria determined by indicator of river water discharge. DAS performance results Siak Hulu Section obtained a weighted sum of 26%, a total score of 12, the total value of the indicator 58 and the category is rather good. DAS performance results Siak Hulu section obtained with a value of 2.23, the value category classification DAS performance Siak Hulu section has a subzone category are "Rather Good". Performance Part subzone Siak Hulu quite a bit better illustrates that than the four indicators used in the assessment of the performance of subzone Siak Hulu section is one of the better parameters.Keywords : Watershed, Siak River, DAS Performance Parts Siak Hulu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to predict daily rainfall data and gain an overview of the parameters of daily rainfall simulation models to investigate two state, the dry state and the wet state. Analysis of daily rainfall simulation models in the Kampar river basin consists of two main models, namely simulated rainy days and dry days and simulation of the rainfall with Markov chain . Daily rainfall data 1983 to 2010. The stations are Koto Baru Station, Muara Lembu Station, Pasar Kampar station, Lipat Kain station. Rainfall data were divided into 4 length data 10, 15, 20 and 27 years. Each time series was constructed such that the events in question had the same opportunities as continuos recording results. Rainfall simulation results were tested using Chi Square test. With the increase in length of data used, generally will result in the value of Chi-Square are smaller and have a smaller error rate..Keywords: dry state, wet state, Markov chain, length of data, chi squared test

Abstract

Landuse change at Uwai watershed is causing increase on the amount of erotion. analisys of the potential of erotion on Uwai Watershed involves the sedimentation that occured on the watershed and also that enter the reservoir. The estimation method used to determine the magnitude of erotion occured is Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) by utilizing the Geographic Information System (GIS). The capacity of sediment transport is calculated based on equation by Verstraten. The result of the research showed that the watershed for Uwail is consisted of 44 subbasin, the highest sedimentation occured on subbasin 17 with the magnitude of 55,113.75 ton/year. Meanwhile the lowest sedimentation occcured on subbasin 33 with the magnitude of 123.03 ton/year. The erotion that enters the retention pool of Uwai which will be the sedimentation on the retention pool is 6199.9 ton/year. Hence the shallowing that will occur is 14,2 mm/year.Keywords: sedimentation, USLE, GIS,

Abstract

Irrigation area of Muara Uwai with 824 ha of service area is now decreasing deterioration due to the damages that happen on the irrigation network around the irrigation area. Those problem caused the field that supposed to be the farm field to change allocation into fishponds and plantations. Thus a solution must be deviced to allow the irrigation network to get back to it optimum by applying the price of irrigation water. The price of irrigation water in a retribution imposed on farmer to fulfil the renovation cost, maintenance and operartional cost of the irrigation area. The estimation of the initial renovation cost of the irrigation area is Rp 44.757.094,03, the maintenance and operational cost of the irrigatian area every years is Rp 91.103.108,98 and the expense for watergate change on the 10th year is Rp. 130.145.007,00. The interest rate used is the minimum rate of bank commercial rate at 10%. The investment period choosen on this research is 14 years that gives the payback period of the rate that stand below the investment years and annual benefit wih positive value which means the solution is feasible. The value on the price of irrigation water with investment period of 14 years is 10,516.65 per hectare per month.Keywords : cost estimation, irrigation water price, irrigation network, maintenance and operational, investment period.

Abstract

The effect of residential areas development in the city of Pangkalan Kerinci causing a land conversion thus, increasing of surface waters flow due to rain. Surface runoff caused a flood inundation in Jalan Permai BTN Lago. Therefore we need an analyz to reduce flood inundation by analyzing the capacity of drainage channels ranging from the most upstream channel to the final disposal site gas pipeline passing through the country. The existing drainage channels compared with the discharge channel plan with return period of 5 years. Results of comparative analysis is 17.48% drainage channel had width modified (b), 35.92% had modified the width (b) and height (h), 44.66% of drainage channels are not modified, and 1.94% are the new channel. The most downstream channel passes through a gas pipeline that takes cross-sectional modification into reservoir. It required help of a pump for pumping water from the reservoir into the exhaust channel / outlet. reservoir accept 5.63 m3 / sec discharge for the return period of 5 years. Modified existing drainage channels into reservoir withsize (2m x 5m x 230m) using a pump with a capacity of 5 m3 / sec.Keywords: drainage systems, capacity, dimensions

Abstract

Siak River as one of four big rivers in Riau Province has morfology condition of meanders which caused erotion. The process of soil erotion on river edge happened due to the process of erotion that occured constantly on the bed of the edge as a reaction of river bed changes towards the condition of flow pattern on meanders. This research is aimed to identify the erotion and sedimentation on Siak River based on affecting parameters by conducting analysis using satelite data and comparing the water elevations which are similar or having the least elevation different.Based on the research, the biggest area of erotion occured on condition 1 of middle downstream between 2000-2013 with the value of erotion area of 574132.6 m or 57.41 ha and the biggest area of sedimentation occured on condition 1 of end downstream between 2000-2013 with the value of sedimentation area of 953738.2 m or 95.37 ha.Keywords : river, erotion, sedimentation, daily water level elevation, satellite data.
