Abstract

Along with the increased use of fuel oil, so that necessary to manufacture in producing electric vehicles. One of them the electric bike. On an electric bike, motors drive consist of electric motors, power converters and electronic controllers are the mover of electric vehicle systems. This study discusses the three-phase inverter method Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) as a three-phase induction motor drive in electric bike applications that are modeled by using Matlab / Simulink.The purpose of this study is to get the design of the three-phase inverter SVPWM as a three-phase induction motor drive 500 W, 50 V, 50 Hz and 750 rpm. The inverter design using battery voltage 48 V. Before the battery voltage is converted by an inverter, battery voltage must first be raised through a boost converter to 70,62 Volt. Through simulation with Matlab software is then obtained curve of sinusoidal voltage box, current, and speed of the motor in the unit pu SVPWM controlled by the system. In this study also tested against changes in the value of the fundamental frequency inverter. From the test results that the inverter can set the speed of the motor at a frequency of 20 Hz to 50 Hz. At the time of the frequency inverter 5-15 Hz current increases exceeding motor nominal current of 8.25 A.Keywords : Three Phase Inverter, Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM), Three Phase Induction Motor, Matlab/ Simulink, Electric bike.

Abstract

Loss of power caused by the presence of conductive permanent resistance. Ideal conductor should not have resistance, but in fact every object has a resistance to electric. Therefore it is necessary for the calculation of power and energy losses generated by the conductor. Power and energy losses calculation is performed on the primary distribution system, namely when the system load. Loss of the total power generated in this research amounted to 69 703, 304 Watt and percentage power losses of the average load is equal to 1.273%, while energy losses of 50186.4 kWH and percentage of energy losses equal to 1.273%.Keywords : Loss of power, Loss of energy, the primary distribution system

Abstract

The transformer is widely used, both in the field of electricity and electronics. Use of the power system allows choosing the appropriate voltage and economical for each purposes. To obtain a good and satisfying design it is necessary to use computer software in design process. The design of single phase and three phase transformer with the help of computer software is intended to replace the conventional process which is done manually so as to improve the efficiency of time and energy. Abstract

Forest fires in Indonesia every year always happen that a national disaster. To overcome this problem have wireless sensor network as a solution. But the sensor node has limited ability in terms of memory capacity, bandwidth and energy. Among the issues, energy consumption is a concern of many researchers because the sensor nodes using the battery as energy. Therefore, in this paper will be the implementation strategy of wireless sensor networks in Tesso Nilo National Park to prevent fires. The results obtained by the network topology and routing protocols are appropriate for the location of Tesso Nilo National Park is a mesh topology and routing protocols directed diffusion.Keywords : Wireless Sensor Networks, Mesh, Directed Diffusion

Abstract

Since its creation by Bram Cohen in 2001, BitTorrent has proven to provide the best way to file distribution among peer-to-peer system. Instead of establishing a single one-way stream of information like a client-server system, BitTorrent makes several connections to other clients that contain at least part of the desired information. This information is then simultaneously downloaded from and uploaded to the other clients in pieces. To design a close-to-real-world testing environment for BitTorrent experiment at the costs of a real hardware solution in this paper presents a BitTorrent performance analysis with virtualization. From results of the experiment suggested BitTorrent get faster distribution time compared to FTP with more requests and can be slower if have to deal with free riders clients. At the piece selection experiment, suggested BiTorrent get best distribution time at piece with numbers 1400.Keyword: Peer-to-Peer, BitTorrent, Virtualisation, Performance Analisys

Abstract

Power transmission system is of one component in the supply of electricity. Then it takes one of transmission system good. To maintain of transmission system good needed protection system accordance with the requirements of protection . protection system functioning of to localize disturbance as small as possible . protection system of transmission normally using of distance relay and OCR-GFR relay. distance relay serves as a main security and OCR-GFR for as backup. calculation of short circuit and relay coordination using digsilent program 14.1.3. based on the results of calculations and simulations showed that the distance relay coordination is good and necessary for resetting the relay OCR-GFR due to changes in short circuit.Keywords: transmission, coordination, distance relay, ocr-gfr relay, ETAP

Abstract

Peatland fires monitoring that have the highest accuracy is ASMC with an accuracy rate of 60%. So it takes a peat fire detection design, in order to mitigate catastrophic fires in peatlands. Peat in Riau province generally woody peat types, so that the research done on woody peat. This detection system utilizing the characteristics of the heat generated by peat fires trees is LM35 sensor, using ATMega8 as the microcontroller and LCD 16*2 as the viewer that read the temperature sensor. Based on these results, LM35 temperature sensor has an accuracy rate with an %error on the average of o.22% to the lowest %error is 0% and the %error is 0.62% higher. The temperature of woody peat area in normal condition at 08.00 to 11.30 pm has a large temperature that always under ambient temperature. When burning conditions, the temperature of woody peat area continues to increase and exceeds ambient temperature. There is no significant difference of the air temperature around the area when normal conditions and during a fire because woody peat fires not really affect the change.Keywords: LM35 Sensor, ATMega8, woody peat

Abstract

Pekanbaru is one of the fastest—growing city in Indonesia in term of construction development. To support it, government builds the public hospital which is located in Garuda Sakti street Pekanbaru. The project had more than 100 workers and another 100 workers are working with the heavy equipment so that can put them in danger and give an high risk for their safety and comfort. To minimizing number of the accident in the working place and to realization the zero accident, it is require the implementation of SMK3 in that project. The method in this research is quantitative and univary analysis method and also descriptive qualitative method. Dissemination of the questionnaire was addressed to 101 construction workers and 20 staff in the project. The Implementation assessment result SMK3 base on PP No. 50 in 2012 showed 60,13% and classified as GOOD application level. The result of SMK3 audit assessment in RSUD Pekanbaru is 81,32% and classified as GOOD application level as well. In the assessment of the audit result found 30 criteria that wasn’t match with the minor and another 1 criteria wasn’t match with the major criteria. Pursuant to the results of calculation analysis tools and equipment procurement costs K3 is Rp.78.036.00,00 or 0.002% from the total value of the project contract. Factors that inhibit the implementation of SMK3 is psychological factors of the workers and the environmental factors of the project.Keywords: Hospital Pekanbaru, Zero accident, SMK3, Evaluation, Audit

Abstract

Mapping of risk index is starting step before we take an action to reduce flood. Risk index map is analyzed by using hazard, vulnerability, and capacity index. Hazard index is analyzed by some parameters, there are depth, frequency, and flood duration parameter. Then flood map is get by result of HEC-RAS modelling. Capacity index is analyzed base percentage of well drainage. Then risk index can be analyzed base of equation in PERKA BNBP No. 2 in 2012.The result of risk index is classified in three classes, there are low, mid, and high class. Alot of subdistricts have risk index in middle class. There are 8(eight) subdistricts in mid class of risk index, they are Simpang Baru, Sidomulyo Barat, Tuah Karya,Tangkerang Tengah, Sidomulyo Timur, Wonorejo, Tampan, and Labuh Baru Barat. Low index is being in five subdistrict, they are Delima, Tangkerang Barat, Maharatu, Labuh Baru Timur, and Air Hitam.Keywords : capacity, flood risk index, hazard, and vulnerability.

Abstract

This research developed a heart rate monitoring system using 3 lead elektrodes sensor based labview. Labview software used to display information generate in the form of GUI (Graphical User Interface). Hardware used is mega 2560 microcontroller arduino, signal conditioning board AD8232, and type electrode leads flops as a heart rate signal. GUI (Graphical User Interface) designed in labview provide information such as heart rate per minute, heart rate signal and heart rate characteristics such as bradycardia, tachycardia, and normal.Keywords: 3 Lead ECG, GUI (Graphical User Interface) Labview, Arduino, AD8232, Heart rate characteristics
